Now that Jason is going on his third year out of the league, what's the longest you've gone without seeing him? Oh, yeah, that includes billboards and commercials, like two hours. What is your husband's biggest beige flag, Farts? Finally, on the subject of dating a Cowboys fan, what if not a fan, but a Cowboys player? Ah! I don't want to know what if they marry that player? My husband is on record saying that Aaron Donald is the guy he least look forward to playing up against. Do you guys have someone like that for yourselves? Yeah, they play on the same thing. He's just a guy. He's a teammate, Mom. Not going to lie. Some people think that the view from this point is the Philadelphia skyline. But I'm going to agree to disagree on that and say that the most beautiful view is the one right behind me. That's right. Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles. Let's get this podcast started.
Welcome back to a very special NFL kickoff episode of Knock and a Lie. A wave original brought to you by Mons, Apple to our core. We made it. That's right. The NFL is back and to celebrate. I thought I'd set up shop. I want my favorite places in the entire world. It's like a financial field home of the Philadelphia Eagles. Go birds because we're on site today. And because of our guests that we have lined up, I do feel like maybe King Brad might want to do a Go Birds counter. Maybe it's a drink every time we say Go Birds. Don't do that. That's unsafe and probably irresponsible. I mean, do your thing. What I will tell you is, yeah, okay, you're going to I'm going to need you to somebody zoom in. Right over my head. Joe, can you get that right over my head? I need you to zoom in on section 120. Did you see 120? Yeah, Joe saw it.
That's my favorite place in the whole stadium. Guys, sweet life isn't for me. I've told you this a number of times. I'd like to be in the next. We'll get into more things NFL soon. Above first weekly reminder, I'm your host Kylie Kelsey. That's right. As superstitious of a bird's fan as it gets, which is why I brought my wooden spoon with me today. I feel like it might be needed. Because as soon as we start talking about the what ifs of the next few months. I need my emotional support spoon supporter of the Eagles Autism Foundation. Feel free to check it. This artwork was made by Madden or Lovsky. Yeah, that's right. Dan or Lovsky is one of his sons who is incredible at artwork. Obviously and a supporter of the Eagles and the EOS Autism Foundation. My guy.
So he made this cool shirt and all the proceeds go towards EOS Autism Foundation. So you can go get yourself one. We'll put the link in the description. And I just got back from Cincinnati where my husband and brother-in-law led the UC bear cats out of the tunnel for their first game of the season. And why you might ask. Because Uncle Trab is a loving supportive brother and. Jason is being inducted into the UC Hall of Fame this year. Why hey, that's so badass. I'm pretty sure it's a 50th anniversary of it's like the 50th class to be inducted into the UC Hall of Fame. I have grown a deep appreciation of UC for those of you who don't know that's the University of Cincinnati bear cats. I did learn the cheer this weekend something about. I just got to go to the UC.
I don't quote me. Here's the thing. This is what I'll tell you this is my own advice. And if you're from Cincinnati and this offends you, I apologize because I'm not from there. I'm from here. Okay. If you go to get skyline chilly, don't think of it as chilly. It's not TexMex chilly like I was raised on. So think of it as meat sauce and then it actually tastes good. Sorry, that was bird. No, I'm sticking with it anyway. We didn't take a stop to the Cincinnati landfill. So no, we did not retrieve the OG Super Bowl ring. I think it's like with the garbage. I think it's where it's supposed to live where he lost that was at the new live show at the University of Cincinnati. I'm sorry, that was such a positive. I was so excited about UC that I just spit it out. The other podcast had a live show in the University of Cincinnati. And while we were there, that's when the ring went missing.
Anyway, coming up on today's NFL and GL Spectacular. Is that what we're calling it? That's spicy. It's a spectacular. Okay. I'm going to throw it back to the time we heard why it's singing the Eagles Fight Song in her crib and talk all about a brand new season of Eagles and Chiefs football. Go, Trev. Then I'm going to sit down with Jason's former teammates, our friends and current stars of the Eagles offensive line. Jordan Milata, Lane Johnson and Landon Dickerson. But wait, there's more. After I talk to the guys, I'm going to fact check everything they say with the women who know them best. That's right. They're better halves. I said it. They're wives and my close friends, Nikki Milata, Kelsey Johnson and Brooke Dickerson. We also couldn't have three couples on the show and not play the newlywed game. So stay tuned for that. But before we get to any of that, let's start things off with the NFL edition of Real One Comment of the Week. This comment is from K Patrick. Oh, no. Ooh. It's all cowboys. Here we go.
Kylie, on the subject of dating a cowboys fan. What if not a fan, but a cowboys player? I think that's worse. Is it? Because it's their job. Ah, and they're getting paid. It's their job. Like it's their livelihood, you know? Ah. So Queen, I'm on to know how this would apply in our own household. Like what if one of our children ended up dating a guy who was playing football and then he ended up getting drafted to the cowboys? We would love and support them in their love and their support. But I would say go birds every chance I got. I would, and I'm not going to Dallas. You couldn't pay me. You're going to want to know what if they marry that player?
Here's the deal. If it's long lasting love, eventually he will not play for the cowboys because he'll retire. Right? I hate these types of, I don't like these types of. What ifs? Because I want to be aggressive about it and I can't because if it really happens, I want them to know that I love them and I support them. I'm talking about my daughters. Not the player. I might love them. I can't support them in their football endeavors. Okay. All right, that does it for real one comment of the week. Next up, let's roll right into Doom Scroll the week brought to you this week by NFL Sunday ticket on YouTube TV. Every game, every Sunday, all in one place. First up on Doom Scroll, new Eagles cheerleader, Jackson O'Brien found out he made the team at his graduation and it's adorable. Check out this clip. It says in honor of announcement day, here's the moment when I found out my dreams came true. He is in a capping gown in his graduating class on the phone.
And that is the dedication we like. Oh, that's so sweet. I have had the absolute pleasure of getting to be at events with a number of the cheer team members over the years. And mostly at EIF events, what I will tell you about the cheerleaders are that they have full-time jobs. So cheer to them is like a passion project. And the best part about it is that it comes across in what they do. Whether they're at events interacting with fans, whether they are on the field trying to hype up the crowd, they do an incredible job and they look great doing it. And I love them dearly. So how about that? Good job. Way to go, Jackson. I'm very excited to see you down there. Okay, I'm just now finding out based on our rundown that people have that some people. Let's start here. Assholes have a problem with the fact that we have male cheerleaders.
What? Have you seen our male cheerleaders? Have you seen how high they can kick their legs? Get out of here. Oh, there's actually no room for that here. So go birds and fuck off. How about that? I can't believe I'm just learning that out. People can mad about that. Wow. Okay. Queen, I'm just trying to rage-mate me. She's asking, have I watched the documentary on the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders? No, I have not. I feel like that sack religious and I refuse to do it. What I will say is that I really respect from the clips that I've seen on TikTok, which I have now clicked not interested in. I'm being dead serious. I really have a lot of respect for the hard work and athleticism that goes into what they're doing. And the severe expertise of that whole organization. And by organization, I'm talking about the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. I am not talking about anybody else.
I said what I said. Don't think that I'm complimenting you. I'm not complimenting you. No. I'm complimenting the cheerleaders. Okay. Next girl is actually a throwback to the year 2022. When we discovered baby Wyatt singing the Ego's fight song from her crib, this is a cute video. It's a cute video. She's smart. I have to do now. I thought that wasn't possible. But this morning, we had to have a whole talk about it. In the back of the car. To be clear, I was buckling Betty, but then we had a little chat. Never mind. Okay. Has anything like this happened since why or the other girls? Sometimes you catch the girls singing to themselves. In football season, because we do follow the practice of if we are watching an Ego's game at home, and a touchdown is scored, we do in fact sing the Ego's fight song. That's the rule. You're supposed to do it. I didn't make the rule. I just followed them.
I don't think that they understand that their dad left quite the mark that he did. That's okay. Because we're actually, we were put on this earth to humble him. So, it's okay. I'm just kidding. We hype him up all the time. And they know that he played football, and that's about it. To be honest, I think that if we try to explain it to them right now at the age that they are, and what they understand about football, they don't quite know that they could grasp it. Is that an arrestable offense? Maybe. But I'll try later and I'll let you know how it goes. Benny and Finn actually got to run into Swoop last week at RadioThon when they saw Swoop. Benny wanted to say hi. Finn excitedly said hi. Then Swoop got a little too close. Good news. Swoop knows how to read a room. Swoop backed up. And we were fine. There wasn't a single tier. And Benny ended up asking to have a picture with Swoop.
She sat down on the couch next to Swoop. There needed to be a three to five foot buffer in between them. But they got a picture together. And she has asked me to show every family member we've come in contact with over the last week. And lastly, it's been brought to my attention that a bird's fan living in San Francisco committed the atrocity of not saying go birds back. Let's see this clip. I've been saved for this guy. I was just seeing a little evil spirit as a sewer where I'm right. So I see you some walking past you were in the Eel shirt. And I say go birds. And there I fly. Let's get this right on. We are not at a rock concert. Right on. No. What? Huh? I truly think the only appropriate response to go birds is go birds. Obviously. The only time you're going to get the only time you should have a varying response is if you say go birds to someone in cowboys attire.
That's the only time you're getting a different response. Go birds. Applies to almost every possible phrase. I'm not going to explain it perfectly. It could mean thank you for holding the door. It could mean have a good day. It could mean how the hell are you? Go birds. You know, if you're wearing ego stuff, you must reply with go birds. Those are the rules. Again, I don't make them, but I follow them. If you are doing the go bird drinking game at this point, I'm sorry. No, I'm not. I hope it's garage beer. All right, that's it for Dooms Girl the Week brought to you this week by NFL Sunday ticket on YouTube TV. Now, let's get to why we're all here for an NFL edition of Can I Be Honest? Brought to you by MOTS, Apple to our core. The real ones may remember I'm on record saying I have to be on my best behavior when I'm at the link. However, that's only one other people are around right now.
It's just me and our NGL team. So I'm about to get real honest about the 2026 season as a bird's fan. Oh, no. My plan right now is to be at the home opener this Sunday versus the commanders. That's my plan. I will not be tailgating. I can't do it. It's business only guys. I cannot do it. I didn't I especially didn't do it when Jason was still playing. It makes me. It makes me cringe because for me, it's not a party. I'm not here to party. I'm here for business. We need to get down to business. You got locking, game face, and apparently me too. Like I have anything to do with it. That's ridiculous behavior. But I believe it. So control what you can control. Queen number wants to know over under 50. How many times are you going to say fuck or shit during the game from your seat? Actually, Queen Emma. Are we counting in my head? Ooh, over. So yeah, it's going to be much better.
Game day rituals usually include a very specific t-shirt now. What does that mean? Does it mean the same t-shirt? Absolutely not. It means whatever t-shirt I take out. That has a new eagle, which is not the old school eagle. That one has not worked out for me in the past. Yup, I've tracked it. It doesn't work out for me in the past. Now, I like the new age eagle, which is just our eagle head. Oh, yeah, that one's fine. One game I wore a little Jersey pin that had Jason's Jersey number 62. That pin is never seeing the light of day again at a game. Not ever again. It might, I don't know, like a cute little bag, char, like a cute little bag pin some other time. Not at a game, not in this stadium. Wow, did that go south. Also, don't text me on Sunday. Don't do that. Don't I also won't be opening social media probably, especially, I mean, not pregame, definitely not during the game.
Oh my gosh, no, don't tag me in things, don't send me messages because as I've said a number of times, Sundays or Eagles games other days, if that's the case, life is not happening. The Eagles are happening and that's what we're focused on. Now I'm mostly here to talk about the birds, but the real ones know we're also a chiefs family here. Yeah, shout out to Trab back for his 14th season playing. I love that his first game back this season is Monday night football because it means that Jason will be on site. And so the two of them just get to be brothers in the same stadium. I love when that happens. It really makes my heart happy. I of course want to wish Travis luck this season and the chiefs. We will absolutely try to get to a couple games this year because we love getting to go and cheer him on. The downside is that because the chiefs are amazing, they end up with a lot of prime time slots.
So that's past the girls bedtime. So it might not have to be a mom dad trip, which I'm not mad about, you know? That's it for our special NFL kickoff edition of Can I Be honest brought to you by MOTS. I'll be right back with some of the stars of the Eagles O line and Jason's former work family. Lane Johnson, Jordan Milada and Landon Dickerson school is officially back in session. And that means packing lunches yikes, but not with MOTS. The girls are difficult to pack lunches for. And it's not very fun, but I can always count on a MOTS apple thoughts pouch to make sure that they'll eat something in there. I would put in an apple, but that would be silly because it's probably going to be bruised. And maybe a little dirty in that lunch box, because you know they send crumbs home. That's gross. Also, have you ever had an ice cold MOTS applesauce? I grew up on it. It's popped this sucker right on top of the ice pack. And by lunchtime you'll have a cool, refreshing, fruity treat.
At least they think it is. MOTS is made from real apples, no added sugar. Don't tell them. Real ingredients that as a mom give you peace of mind and a taste kids love, a guarantee to get your kid through the day. Make back to school mornings easier with MOTS pouches. Buy them now. With NFL Sunday ticket and YouTube TV, it doesn't matter who's coming over or what team they love and need to watch because every play, every game changing moment of NFL Sunday football action is right there. It's every Sunday game, regardless of where it's being played. Jason, I just filmed a commercial for NFL Sunday ticket and YouTube TV and the only problem with it was how close the Cowboys fan was standing to me. I know you guys clocked it. I saw the comments. One of them was actually a Cowboys fan. I told him goverts more than once. Jason is the one who picks the games that are going into multi-view because it's helpful to him to see all the games. I mean, guys, he's going to have to talk about it the next day. Also, we never miss an Uncle Trab game on Sundays.
And that's super helpful. Every game, every Sunday, all in one place. And right now, it's just eight payments of $30 a month for new users. Sign up now at youtube.com slash NGL. It's pure NFL bliss as it happens right in your living room. And you won't miss a moment of the action. New users pay $240 or eight non-cancelable payments of $30 a month first charged at purchase. Availability varies with NFL Sunday ticket for out of market games and YouTube TV for local and national games. YouTube TV required terms, restrictions and embargoes apply. Commercial use excluded no refunds. With back to school and the NFL season starting soon, life gets pretty hectic, so I need all the help I can get. The good thing is the CVS health app helps me handle my health care needs all year round. And it's especially helpful for busy parents or caregivers because it makes the whole health care experience simpler and more convenient. The CVS health app helps me get in and out of the pharmacy fast. I can pop in, pull up and scan my digital barcode at the pharmacy counter, and they know just what to grab for me. It also keeps track of my health care to do list, so I don't have to. Right on your home screen, you can manage a personalized, prioritized to do list
that tracks health actions you don't want to forget about. Plus, I can stock up on back to school items like tissues, hand sanitizer and more. I just took a trip to CVS to make sure that I had everything I need to send in for the start of school. Those tissues that hand sanitizer, of course some hand soap because germaphob, oh, got some good pencils because apparently they need those too. And I got a little sweet treat for myself at the counter. I also love that I can refill track and manage my prescription needs anytime. The CVS health app lets you check on your prescription status on the go. And it'll tell you the moment your prescription is ready. Go to CVS.com slash app to learn more and download the app now. There you're Super Bowl 59 champions. One of them's 52, two stars of the Philly special Christmas album alongside Jason graduates of Stoutland University, your 2026 Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman and most importantly, husbands of Nikki Kelsey and Brooke. And now they're officially not going to lie. Jordan Milada, Lane Johnson and Landon Dickerson welcome to the show.
We didn't put you in order. Thanks for having us. No, well let's start here. Do we think these chairs are going to hold up for the whole conversation? Absolutely. I did not check the weight capacity on these. We're good. And as soon as Jordan set Jordan was just the first to sit down. I want to get ahead of this. Jordan was the first to sit down when Jordan sat down. I had a moment of panic because we purchased whenever I purchased like a specifically outdoor furniture at our house. I always check the weight capacity. It is 300 pounds. Is it? It's fine. We are. We're good. We're good. We're good. Jordan's going to sit very slow season. We're good. If listen to the chair goes, hey, it's been real. We're going to have a big good clip. That's the exit. It'll be a milk in a life. First. Now, first question. I'm really going to test you guys here. Now that Jason is going on his third year out of the league, be honest. What's the longest you've gone without seeing him? 48 hours. Yes. That includes billboards and commercials.
Yes. Oh, 48 hours. Yeah, not even that. I want to come up here. It's around 48. I go by 36 hours to 48 hours. Yeah. I'm going to say that's both on screens and in building. We're including on screen. It's like two hours. Yeah. We're billboards. Yeah. He offers random facility though. He lingers. He does. He lingers. He lingers. He lingers. I'm waiting for the day that his code stops working. That they just cut it off. I mean, I use the same code. I'm not going to say the code due to his so security number. But we've had the same code all these years. Yeah. We've never worked. So you've just used his. Yeah. He's going to be the only key cut off his code. He knows. So you're the problem. I guess. We'll see. Why don't you just ask for your code? I have been it still doesn't work to this day. I mean, that's the only connection. Okay. Oh, yeah. Same code. Okay. That's fair. As my husband's former co-workers, I also have to ask. Do you guys have a particularly memorable first impression of Jason?
Memorable. Yeah. And what was it? I think it was a great first practice for Jordan. Guys, my first practice with him and something that he didn't. He launched his helmet about 60 yards. It was on the field. And I was like, the fuck this is like we haven't even started. Progress still the walk through and I'm going. This guy's going to be fun. I think mine would be. I don't know what week it was in 21. I was going to the Raiders game. Where he just gave me like a. Like a 10 minute ask you again the middle of practice. Because I did something not up to his standards. Yeah. I've never seen him say do that. Remember? No. Oh, we're on field too. We're like back that coming out of the end. Oh, buddy. And we were practicing. Remember it's so strongly. You know exactly. I remember it too. Because I was like single or what yellows. Because that's how like Oakland was playing that like. Yes or not. It lost it is.
He's the Raiders. Whatever they were playing like the way they played that knows. But we didn't want like to do it like one on one. So I had to like. And then go certain techniques. Sorry. He really didn't like the way I did it. I was very early. I will say I. Not that I'm like trying to vouch for him or anything. But I don't think he would have chewed you a new one. If he didn't believe in you to get it right. Agreed. I don't think he knew that. I mean that's the time. I mean, I don't think he knew that. I mean that's the time. That's the time. I mean, the first person I had, I got a text when I got drafted. And it was Jason Kelsey text me saying he was excited to get me. Have me on board. And maintain. And Lane did the same thing too. So I was like, yeah, these guys are cool. That's very sweet. I got very lucky. And then I met the guy in person. I was like. I'm scared. I'm scared. And then I was like, I'm scared. I'm scared. And then I was like, I'm scared. I'm scared. I'm scared. Are we sure this guy would text me? Holy, Kale, this is the same.
Go ahead, text me. Wow. Do you have a favorite Jason crash out? Again, this might get cut. This is a long list. It is a long list of crash out. I mean, I haven't been around nearly as long as these guys. But I had my first. I will say the one that got that got to me ahead of him was the trash can launch when he got cleated and indoor practice. Yes. I've never been that shit. It was the funniest. It's the funniest shit of all time. He got cleated by somebody. I don't know if it was just like the way you guys were stepping or what it was. But he took one right to like the bottom of his calf. And he got so mad. He like, I mean, I've never seen someone kick a trash can like that. And then punched his way out the door. And I was like, I got text messages from five or six different people because I guess it was like a live press day at practice. And I'm in class in college. Like, why are people checking on him? Is he okay? Is everything all right? I texted him and he's like, I launched a trash can.
There's evolutions of his. Yes. I had to tell him about my rookie or he got pissed at me and came at me. Like he was about to punt me and he missed it and kicked my knee. And then he had to leave probably had to go get M.R. Owens for it because he thought he broke his foot. He was just a whole whole funny 20 minutes. I think the thing we can talk about though is over time we figured out that there was a progression to the crash out. Yes. So very much involved the chewing gum. There were more rapid to pace. All right. And there was normal pace of chewing gum. Then the shoes got faster. Yes. The shoes. They're taking a whole faster. Yes. Now the problem was. Right before the crash out the point of no return was. It was a huge big deal. I think he was about to get out. He threw it as hard as he could, which every time. Every time. It's not very timid like it's nothing. But it's not packing a punch. You weren't. No. Whatever was going to happen. So that's what we knew was we would just watch that you could hear it throughout the progressions. It could be it could be a quick burn.
It could be a nice all day. Okay. Usually as a couple of cam butcher in his hands. Regardless. That's his default. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So that's the thing. Yeah. That's the thing. Okay. Okay. Okay. Alright. Gosh. You'll never spill his cam butcher ever. No. No, even during the helmet launch. Yes. You know. Now all three of you guys are not from Philly, but you've been embraced by the fans. Did anything surprise you about Philly fans when you first started playing here? How they got all these eggs to launch on Sundays. Or they bought on they bought it. They're not. They're not cheap now. That's. That's an investment. That's what I'm saying. That's a good chunk of change right there. The good time. Fans in general. No, I will say this. I didn't know what Greece pole climbing was until I came here in Marooka. And I was really fascinated down in the Italian market. Yes.
Yeah. It's kind of like what the hell is going on. I mean, I think it's like a lot of people are crazy. So you know, a fan base is crazy. They want me greasy balls. Do you know how serious they are about football? Like locked in. But also Jason always talks about how knowledgeable, like truly. Yeah. Like breaking down plays, understanding the concepts, making sure that like they, if they're going to tear you to bits, they know about it. That's like the family dynamics. Like you got to know the people. You got to know the players. There is. And if you don't, you're going to get scolded by your family. Okay. Now, as a fan, I know how I feel about our booing because we have a reputation for that. How do you guys feel about it? I love it. Good. Because I do. I love it. No, it's honest. It's the best policy. Thank you for saying that. What a perfect. I'm not saying that it's not. It's not. It's not good. It sucks, but we're not giving them anything to cheer about. So that point. Yeah. I can lie. It's a low point. Yeah. It's a low point. But we know it. Yeah. Yeah.
Now that we got Cooper D'Agin, sometimes booze out like when they say cool. Cool. I'm like, oh, maybe they just say, oh, but they realize we're on the field. And I'm like, hmm. Now, there aren't many episodes of this podcast that go by that I don't say some form of the phrase, fuck the cowboys. I literally said it earlier in this very episode. But as players, how do you guys feel about the rivalry? Do you feel it? Yeah. I still feel it to this day. Does it, does it like excite you? Does it get, does it get you extra amped for a game? Yeah, just I, I got a lot of family back in Texas. I know. So, you know, having to hear those conversations is, you know, stuff I don't, you know, I like to, like to whip their ass and but sometimes it's pretty competitive, especially playing down there. It's usually one and one every year. I don't know. So hopefully we can fix that. Yeah. How do you feel about it? I don't have, you don't have, oh, I thought you were going to say, I don't have strong feelings about it. No, I hate it. I was going to be like, don't say that here.
I'm bleep it. Now, the whole like America's team thing. Yeah, 40 years ago. Yeah, America's also marketing that mindset of shit. That's a simple marketing tactic. That's great tactic. I mean, I'll be honest, never heard of the Philadelphia Eagles before I came here. Who did you hear about? Did you hear about the Cowboys and Patrice with the only two teams that went to Australia? He's done good business wise. Longest of all of it. He's a relevant winning person. Sometimes losing, sometimes losing, and writing, just as good as when they're winning really well. Yeah. Now, who would you consider your biggest rival right now outside of the division? Outside of the division. Oh, depends. Depends. Depends. And I will say that the Kansas City, I don't know, it's been pretty outside of the division. Yeah. Yeah. Probably the Niners. I was going to say Rams. Yeah, 90. Yeah, 90. I always either. Yeah, either of them because we see them almost every year. So, yeah, 9 is a ramp. You guys think the Chiefs are a threat? They're always a threat.
Yeah. That's a good answer. You hear that, Travis? Always a threat. Always a threat. Uncle Travis. I'm cheer on Uncle Travis. Always. But go birds, you know, it's fine. My husband is on record saying that Aaron Donald is the guy. He least looked forward to playing up against. Yeah. Do you guys have someone like that for yourselves? Yeah. They both play on the same team. Those two made models. They both play on the same team now. Aaron Donald is scared. Yeah. There you go. That's a fucking one, two punch. Yeah. Yeah. Man. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Now you have the commanders coming up on Sunday. Is there anything you do before the first game of a new season? Yeah. I'm just trying to be in a prison of superstitions. Yeah. I told these guys. Now we just like. Get FaceTime. No, not real. I mean, I used to listen to music for games and then now it's kind of like a Impossible because whoever has a auxiliary in the locker.
So I'm not going to use it regardless. So now I just don't listen to anything. Just. I don't know. The first game is always weird because like nobody's playing a preseason. Like you have a, you know, some things you see. But it's really like you're going to learn it. The first couple of drives series. So what's your card's on? So that's always a little bit weird. First game. So you're, you were you ever superstitious? No, I mean, I was always nervous because some of the guys are out there blocking. But not superstitious. Yeah, I feel like that's more like there's guys in the NFL, but I feel like that's more baseball. Like a more, I don't know. I mean, I eat the same pasta order, but that's just. I mean, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I mean, I eat the same pasta order, but that's just because we always get pasta before game. Sure. Carb load. Got it. You used to be superstitious. No, not why did you abandon it? He changed religions to start on. What are your superstitious? Is that what I need to do? Man. Shit, man. Shit. I'd have the same pasta all of like seven years.
Yeah. Like even when we go like away games. Yeah. Everyone else would go out to eat at a restaurant. I'd just stay back at the hotel and have the same old pasta mill that I'd get. Even breakfast, the same breakfast. Yep. I wasn't even hungry, but I'd full-stown eight eggs and four pancakes. And now just four pancakes, because I just prioritized the carbs. I am still very much a prisoner to my superstitions. Break free. I won't do it. I don't want to. I literally have, is it here? Oh, it is here. I literally have a wooden spoon that I keep with me so that I can knock on wood if necessary. I'm talking about the... I thought it was. Now, I do have to tell you, I have a superstition when things aren't going great of turning around and facing backwards in my seat. Yeah. Now, I just need to know. I've done the same on the sideline. Do you? Do you think... Because you just can't watch it anymore? I can't watch it. No. I'd rather die than watch it. Now, do you think that it helps you guys at all when I do that?
Yes. There's energy and thought. Nothing like that. Thank you for taking that. I think collectively, yes. It all adds up to be fair. To be fair. To be the whole stadium to do that. I do this when... If it starts going really south, I might just rally the trip to now. And anybody come around and look away. No one's watching. Whatever you're not screaming at the kicker, Jack asked me, I kind of get superstitious. Like, why aren't you saying that no more? I know you're like, you're posing to your ex, you're a jank. I don't know. I have to be like, what? This is what I do. I wait until the kicker starts. He does a little walk back. So I always do three steps and then two, oh, they get set. And then they look at the ball. And then they look at the kicker and they give head nod. So I've timed it up where I just do the old happy Gilmore. And I go, you suck, Jack asked. And then I scream really fucking, I do like a little worker. So you may catch it on the NFL game day. We should. I'm going to listen for that audio. There have been some time almost. Yeah, you're here. I was so little too long and I would just sit there screaming.
I stopped. It was trying to ride it out. Screaming. You got to go. Yeah. Okay. I'm absolutely worth. I'm turning up the volume on the TV this year, assuming that I will be able to hear that at least once. Well, you guys all also have a lot going on outside of football. And I'll start with Lane and Jordan because you guys have made a couple Christmas albums now with Jason. Sorry, Landon. You just hold. Wait for a second. I miss you. Um, shout out to the Philly specials. Um, are there plans for another album anytime soon? We're on standby. I got I'm waiting on CB and a couple of lingering conversations in the, uh, weight room. We might be back in action. Because I, I will tell you, um, I have had a number of musical guests on the show. And I just want you to know that I have been trying to convince them to get in on the album. Thank you for your service. I have, I believe Kelly Clarkson has agreed. Yeah. Agreed. Now she's a cowboys fan.
So we're crossing some lines there for the kids. So the kids are feeling for good. Okay. For the kids. Um, who else do it? Oh, Avril Levine said she might be. Wow. Get a little, a little edgy. Avril. You know, a throwback edgy. Like it. We could do it. Sure. Who else do we have? Michael Bowley. Michael Bibli. The voice of Christmas. I mean, you get the voice of Christmas. He wants to do it. I've been putting in a lot of work. I just want to let you know, you're so welcome. So now we have a passion. Let's go. I'll see you have like a Backstreet Boys reunion. You know, like, do we ask about that? Backstreet Boys. I don't think we did. Oh, guys, easy. Let's do it. See what they're up to. Okay. Perfect. So we'll think about it. Wow. Yeah. It's a possibility. Landon, are you going to get on the next album? I will anxiously await to hear the. Yeah. And people. I'm going to be. I'm going to be. I will anxiously await to hear the. Yeah. MP3 record from somebody's. Oh. You're not going to happen there. He's going to be in the back. He's going to be in the background on the.
Give me the spoons or something to play. Like a couple is a great instrument, by the way. Now all four of us have something else in common. We were all up for auction. For the E.A.F. Radio. Tom this year. Do you want to guess who had the highest bid? The highest bid for what? For what is the auction item? Yeah. What you are auction item is what? Extra. Extra. All right. Extra. Are we with? Which is really fun. That's fun. It's great. And you're painting the field. Yes. Four times. Do you love it? I love it. Honestly, precision. I make sure to wear a mess. Old shoes because I tend to spray my foot. Is that what we call it every time? In the meeting room. Yes. Practice. He's getting locked in. You know. Now that's one of the joys of radio. I truly believe that E.A.F. has found this perfect way of finding the things that people are truly interested in. And then finding a way to raise money for charity, offering those things. And then we get to do cool experiences. Mine is I'm going to make Shirley Temple Water Rice. That is phenomenal. At Rita's head. Oh, you raised that amount.
I'm going to be there. Yeah. I love one of that. You raised me fast. You should be there. Just to make Shirley Temple Water Rice. Yes. That is amazing. To be clear is available at all Rita's. Oh, it is. Shirley Temple Water Rice. It's not exclusive. It's not exclusive. What are you making? Are you just scooping it? They're going to teach us the recipe for now. Now, Lane, do you know what game you're painting the field for so that we can keep an eye out for your handiwork for the Cowboys home game? Apparently Lane is painting the field for the Cowboys. Monday Night Football here at the link. So we will have to keep our eyes on the center of the field. That ego will be Lane's Handiwork. And whoever won the box. Yes. I guess. Yeah. We'll see. I'm going to ask your wives more about this. But Lane, you and Kelsey just got married. This office and congratulations again. You and Kelsey chose Jordan to be your official. Look at how cute. Look at how sweet. I didn't. Jordan, you crushed it. You did a great job.
Thanks, Guy. Appreciate it. Now, what made you choose him for that honor? We just wanted a man with a big presence up there. And, uh, yeah, Jordan's been a great teammate. And, you know, why is it really close and love each other? And yeah, we just thought it'd be awesome. I don't know something different. Yeah. Uh, now we can believe this if we need to. But which Eagles player or coach current or a former got the most rowdy that night? Oh, that night. Just a couple guys and close that river down there. I don't know. Oh, there was a there was a moment in time between, I think. I'm. I think it's going to be during cocktail hour where most of the current and former players disappeared. Yeah, by the river. I think there was a photo happening, but I'm not 100% sure that's what's up there. To be up there. Um, photos, people sneaking in a quick drink. I don't know before it started. I don't know. I think it was relaxed vibe of a way. It was. It was nine.
From the groom's side. Yeah, you're right. Yeah, you're right. It was, it was nice. It was beautiful. Yeah, well, I felt the location. I was really messed up too bad. You're out in the 1500 acres. You get in trouble out there. You're a real minister's lucky society, you know? If you get in trouble out there, you're staying out there. Yeah. About that. Speaking of the wedding, Jason got a lot of attention online afterwards. For his cowboy attire. Oh, um, it looks like Chris Steywoodton's like alter my goodness. Now, be brutally honest. What do you think about this? I like it. It's. I think you kind of crushed it. Yeah. He could pull it off. He definitely pulled it off. It's a Cleveland boy just cosplaying as a cowboy. This could afford me a touch of gray or. No, that's all an actor. That's been that. That's all pepper. That's all an actor. I like it. Look at you. So proud of that. I am. I'm proud of that. He's never cared about keeping his beard down. I was struck to that. No, he doesn't at all. He actually, he's he's on record saying that he's really looking forward to when he goes all white so that he can basically be Santa Claus. Yeah.
Yeah. And then it's like a game you're going to have to do. This is it. Right. 15 more years. It looks like he just woke up to set up yellowstone right there. Don't you have enough to do? Yeah, but I got to work my holiday shift. I got to five to nine appointment. Now one of the games for the NFL season this year kicks off tonight in Australia. Jordan, how do we get the Eagles game and the next Australia game? So I don't know how the bidding works. What else do we have to do? What else? I thought you were friends with Roger. Yeah, that's what I thought. I have friends with Roger. You got to be an ambassador for your country. Well, Uncle. I don't know. Uncle Roger. Uncle Roger, what are we going to do to get a game to LA? I think I know how to cheer you up about this. Because I feel like you seem a little disappointed. I think we could cheer you up. So we have something for you. Let's go. We got cops. There's more than cops. Let's go. It's my newfound love.
I see Tim Tams. Yes. I love Tim Tams. I see Hot Chocolate. Hot Chocolate Fan. I love it. We all look like we're all four on a path. I was going to say I hope you guys didn't get this big naughty chocolate. Okay. Here we go. I did it on a big tree. I'm going to pass these down. This is coffee. Coffee. Apparently. Is it wow? I have no idea what kind of coffee it is. Should I know that? It's probably done. It's not wow. It's not wow. It's probably done. I'm going to pass the, let me open this for them. Wow. I'm very proud of you. Thank you so much. This is very, now very Australian. Now why do we have coffee Jordan? Because we are about to Tim Tams Lams. Okay. I equate it to like an Australian Oreo is how I equate it. I'm probably wrong, but I've told that to a couple of Australians and I haven't gotten a terrible response on it. Yeah, but that's not bad. That's not a bad idea. Okay. Basically, what you want to do is bite the corn and opposite corners of the Tim Tams. So, you can go about one and then bite the other corner. Oh, like a big bite.
Yeah, I didn't know. I didn't know. I didn't know. I mean, you're simple like a shrew. Yeah, you do. I took two big of a bite. Then you use it like a shrew. Nope, mine's in there. The drink. You can sip it through like a straw. It's not crazy. It actually comes through. I asked them are. Do you speak it? Cause I feel like mine's about to work. No, you do suck it through and then you eat it. Oh, I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. The two of us are gonna grab a호p and go through and they're gonna go through like a straw. No. .. I was going to ask. Let, what's the point of going undercover with me though? Tell me about that, okay? You know, you only say. I'm not going to talk about the fire because I don't have hunters up to that. You almost said I get to do the fire. At night, at night, at night, at night, you're not going to do it at night, you are not getting the fire? Oh, you're not getting the fire. Well, even though I was going to tell you, is there a fire? Not at night. Well, you know, I know. No, because that was like butter. Well, I thought like all the coaches used to just do it like the old school coaches used to just coffee black. Yeah, it was like
I don't know what a superstition is almost like you're paying tribute to the guys that came before you paying easy over there, bud Yeah, I'm gonna tell you I was shocked that it actually worked as a straw. Yeah, that's what it's called. That's true.
It's a wonderful point. That was a great thing. We can just write that whole story. That was fun. I think Nikki, I think I would never do a solo. Yeah, we have two people voted. Yeah, I mean, voted against now, guys. Hey, I'm just saying how many people? Hey, there's going to hate when you told her it's a duet. That's kind of. Yeah, yeah. I used to use it. It's because of the flash. Until the house flooded and fucking broken. That kind of person was over. Yeah, but hey, don't be mad at me. I mean, I'm not as mad as my child.
We need my throw shade. We're not. We can. We got a point here, a point here. I think some of us up here aren't being truthful because the question is, what is the best out here? I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. You're not supposed to. I mean, that's the most expensive death of a person. That's the best. I support that. I support that. I support that. I support that. I support that. I support that. I'm not gonna give that to you guys. You guys got it. You guys got it. You guys got it. Guys, we can't have professional athletes up here and think that they're not going to start getting Like a little cut throat competitive. I mean. They want to win. Now, do we have a final score here? Queen McKenna. Seven to five. Do we have a tie breaker? Queen Emma, hurry up. Yeah. Okay, tie breaker. celebrity crush. What? So he just answers. You both answer. You have to write on your celebrity crushes. Are you going to say like, did you already write that? I did. That was very fast. Just because I can't think right now, I'm just going to put me.
Okay. Who is it? Nicky said it is not you. Chris Evans has Captain America. You've literally gotten mad at me for crying at his double. Oh, wow. He did get it right. Oh, my God. Who is it almost though? Oh, no, I wrote that one. That was right. I was writing chick. They don't touch your crush. He said, you know, my wife's celebrity crush. God. What is that movie? He comes to my edge of life. I didn't know that was going to be. I know. I know. Okay. All right. Landon Brooke. I can't. I never have them before. So perfect. Oh my gosh. I'll be too packed. We have Brooke, Nikki, Kelsey. Thank you guys again for joining the show. Yeah. This is so exciting. Now we have known each other for a while. Yeah. But I'm retired. Happily. And I mentioned earlier, but when Jason was playing, I was one of the oldest wives on the team.
When I was playing Fyodoraki, I was considered the team mom. I don't really think I took a team mom role in our women's group because I really tried to let somebody else, literally anybody else take the lead on that one. Has anyone stepped up to the plate to organize the Christmas party and or any other things earlier than the Christmas party? Yeah. You did good at the Christmas party. Yeah, I killed it. Yeah, but it was the only thing. But it was the biggest. It was the only thing we did. Yeah, expanding. We're doing a lot more things. Yeah, good. Yeah, ladies. Yeah, we are talking about it before this. And we feel like a lot of people are taking on roles and planning different events. Like we're doing a book club that Kelsey is planning. Yeah, I start the book clubs every year, then kind of past it every month. But then all the other girls were doing a majon group. Yeah. That's the thing. Yeah, exactly. You guys know how to play.
Or you're going to stop talking. Yeah, so the guys have you want to learn. Go to her. She's a great teacher. Now, I've shared what all call my welcome to the Spout NFL Spouse Life moment on this show before it involves me being down in the family room with a significant other of another player who was showing me around. She was such a sweetheart about it. And she showed me literally where I was supposed to go. And she took me downstairs and was introducing me to some of the people related to the team. And one of the women who came over and said, I think it was something to the effect of like, who's this? And the woman who was showing me around said, oh, this is Jason Kelsey's girlfriend. And she looked right. It didn't say hello to me and looked right back at the girl and said, Jason Kelsey has a girlfriend. And I was like, yes, bitch. She told you that. Like I was like, what are you kidding? Now, do you guys have any moment that stands out to you like that?
Oh, God. Oh, I feel like I came in high. I wanted a host. I wanted to bring everybody. You came to my house. We had some fun. I don't know. I think I just came in. I definitely had a taste of what you had a taste of for sure. Yeah. But it was all right. I don't know that I had any like specific sort of caddy moments like that. But when I think of like my welcome to the NFL moment, I think of like, because Jordan got injured early on. And I remember being like, oh, my gosh, oh, my gosh. And they're like, no, it's okay. Okay. I'm glad if the cart comes out. I'm so out of the cart. So I think for me, that's when I was really like, oh, weird. It's funny. You say that. I don't think people realize that is one of the moments in the NFL that you can't quite explain to people in a way that like, I think people assume that like, we know because
it's our family member. And I can't tell you how many times I would be in a way game or I would be watching on TV or even here in the stadium and all of a sudden like Jason goes into the tunnel. And I'm like, you have no idea. Yes, he's in the tunnel now. I think it's refreshed you. I'm really happy. I'm really happy. I'm really happy. Are you like texting Kathy? Like Kathy? She's doing it. Yeah. You are. Oh, really? Yeah. Because obviously we're not going to be like texts like obviously. Maybe I'll text trainer Joe. Yeah, I'm sure he's. He's busy. And they're going to answer. He's busy. Right. So it's one of those where you're just like, who can I get? And answer from right now. And even when you're in a home stadium, you're like, I can't go in the locker room. I'm the sitting duck. Yeah. That's crazy. That is a very. That is. It's only that of the car car. Yeah. To the car. Oh, no. And then you go to the text to everyone. I was like, I'm so happy. I'm like, you didn't even see it. Because you're like, high up and you're like trying to find his number.
And you're like, that's. That's my welcome to the end. Yeah. Oh, gosh. I mean, I, I feel like I had a good experience. I went to training camp and I remember being so nervous and just being like, oh, I don't know anyone like whatever. I'm just going to walk in and Annie Elliott actually. And she was with Rachel Ciposs. And they were together. They walked in and they were like, hey, like I think I saw you like on social media or whatever. Like I think the Eagles. And she was like, I'm Annie. And she was just like very like welcoming at that moment. And then it was just like easy from there because it was one introduction. And then. And then it was like, I'm like, I'm going to be like, yeah, so I don't know. I had like a really good experience with it. I think I'm so out of it though. Like, obviously, you have your moments. Yeah. Well, how many times do you have someone like, I feel like when you're dating, especially, you have someone say to you, oh, what, what's your boyfriend do? And it's like, well, I always used to like beat around the bush. Like, I wouldn't go straight for it. I would find some roundabout way to be like, oh, he works in the city. Oh, what is he doing? Oh, he works for a sports team, right? And you're like, yeah.
Five questions later. We're finally there. Yeah. There was one time I said he polishes the footballs. That was like, I was like, I'm fucking done with you. But besides that, I have, I would like say it. And the number of people who would be like, yeah, but does he play? Right. Was always the response. And I would be like, first of all, disrespectful. He beat the odds. He's on a NFL team. Exactly. Let's start there. But also, yes, he does. Fuck you. Yeah. Or you get the, oh, I looked him up. And he's actually like legit, a good player. And I think, thanks. You guys, tell them, wait. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. You're embarrassing yourself. Yeah. You should be embarrassed. Stop doing that. Yeah. Now, I talked to the guys a little bit earlier about your wedding. Kelsey, congratulations again. I asked the guys this, but I'll ask you which Eagles player or coach, current or former, got the most rowdy. And we can believe it. And if you guys know, if you guys had eyes on somebody, you got to help out here. Someone came to mind. Yeah. I was trying to think of who was on the dance floor.
And you have to cut this. But honestly, me. Yeah. Oh, my guys were taking care of me. What I will tell you is. If you did not do your patented hair swing, I was going. I was going to ride. Thank you. I was going to ride in our core. Yeah. I was going to ride in our core. Yeah. I was going to ride in our core. Like it was. It was in it. I go. I nailed it. That's why I did a ponytail for the reception. As soon as I saw it, I was like, it has to be coming. It's so good. Yeah. Yeah. It really gets the party started. Uh-huh. Now, speaking of weddings, in prepping for the show today, Nikki, the clip of Jordan singing isn't she lovely while you dance with your dad. Popped up on my feed. And it's so good. I'd love to play it again here. That's okay. Okay. Let's play the tear jerker. Moat, you're not with me. Making water's not protecting. But is it she lovely?
Hey. Now, how often do you watch that? Not that often. No, I get very careful. And I don't see myself. But if I go here, like, I would get an MP three. So. I'm like myself, but if I go, here's a audio, like I would. Oh, yeah. Get an MP3 track of it. Yeah, got it. You're making me happy. Oh, could you imagine? Oh, I often say I need to keep my own husband humble. Yes. Jordan's a really good singer. Oh, he is. He is. I try to keep the humbles. I was going to say, okay, do you try and knock him down a couple of pegs? Every so often, you're like, you could have done better. Yeah, I'm like, I'm petite, petite. You have to, right? I mean, that's why they have us. Yeah. If not us, then who? Well, while I was scrolling, I also watched a ton of clips from Dickerson DIYs, which are fascinating. I love this series. It's so good. Thank you. Here's one right here for anyone who hasn't seen it. It says, crazy, my husband needs all of this just to hang a picture.
When all I do is this. This is so really dope. Oh, yeah. I mean, right? That girl, math. He could, I mean, he could take like an hour to hang up two photos, but it looks perfect. And then I just do it. And I'm like, yeah, I did that. There's a couple holes in the wall behind the picture. But the picture's covering it. It's so great. So nobody knows. Yeah. Now, are all of your husband's handy? No. Because I'm on record saying that mine's not allowed to touch the power drill in our house. We don't even have a toolbox. Oh, no, like I'm not. That's sad. That's sad. No, you do what we do. And then I open it empty. I'm like, everything's everywhere. Right. Just enjurers. But like, no. No. No. Are you handy? Could you do it? I could. Didn't you fix a washing machine last year? Yes. Oh, yes. You too. I can do it. Yes. You just look up a video. That's what I'm telling you. Look up a video. YouTube can teach you everything you need to know. Okay.
And I'm going to show you something else I often talk about on this show is the Ego's autism Foundation, which I know all of you have done some amazing work for. But I know Nikki, you and Jordan recently started the my lot of family foundation. Congratulations. Yeah. For anyone who doesn't know yet. Can you tell us about the work that you're doing? Yes. So the foundation is largely based on Jordan's story, which is, you know, he came from rugby. And he's got a great experience in the NFL, but got a small stipend and an opportunity to make it in the NFL. And it turned out pretty well. So we're just trying to give back in that same fashion and give scholarships to kids who have a passion that might be. Just a little bit out of their reach. And so we want to help close that gap and get them to do that. That's awesome. Now how can the real ones watching or listening get involved and or donate? And you can have a website, my lot of family foundation, dot org. And you can apply to be a volunteer or to donate on there. But we're also working on an applications portal for the scholarships.
And that'll open and up to over. Amazing. We will keep our eyes peeled for it. And Kelsey, you have the little lights foundation. I just saw you and Lane were helping out helping get school supplies to kids in the Philly area. Yes, we gifted teachers back to school shopping spray. Amazing. Yeah. Now we always talk about how much we love as educators here. And Kelsey being an educator. Tell us what you're doing. So with the little lights foundation, we are helping kids identify, name, express and move through their feelings. We're going to bring in more social emotional learning in the school on, in school at home and on the field. And we're going to be able to help people like we need to be champion the teachers and the people that help make children feel seen heard and understood. Amazing. Now once again, how can the NGL real ones watching this at home support? Yeah. So we are just we're going to be launching pretty soon.
So follow us at the little light stop foundation and our website is the little light stop foundation. Amazing. So what's the best thing here? Is there anything embarrassing you want to call your husbands out for that we might have missed earlier? Because I want to make sure that you have every opportunity to do so right here and now. Oh, anything good. Rook anything besides land and sparts being his beige flag. I know. Yeah, that was. It shows different. He will I mean he can do the splits. He's very flexible, but there is this photo of him like in a karate stance when he was like a kid and is like leg is like to the ceiling. And he's like in a shrily and and his mom showed it to me when like we first started dating. It's hilarious. So like so stay tuned for that being on Brooks. A story. Yeah. So this episode debuts is probably going to put that on our story for everyone is a little tree. A little sneaky snack. I will say I completely forgot to bring this up.
Landon at a wedding. Yeah. He didn't do the splits at mine. So I was very sad. I was so sad. Honestly, he owes you split. He does. I know. Well, he started like packing. Like short shorts. He literally. That's the house. Who was wedding wasn't where he was going back was. Yeah. Okay. So we were pressuring him to do the splits and when when Brooks has the splits, she means a full split. Yeah. And like a war like down in the water. And he split to my pairs of dress pants. Yeah. He did before that wedding. And then he learned. Yeah. And then he started bringing. Or he started wearing them under his pants on like we should. And then he started to see the way. Yeah. And now like when he's at wedding, everyone's like pressure. Some to do it. So he gets like I'm one of those people waiting. I am one of those people. I literally at George's girls wedding. I was like any time now and then any time. Anytime you want to hit them in all the floor. Hey, though. Is that his page flag that you can do the splits? I mean, yeah, like a little bit. We should have said that.
It's like, why are you more flexible than me? I can touch my toes. This man can like, well, somebody had to bring some legs. I'm getting to the party. Guys, can we do a group go birds for good luck? Yeah. Okay. We'll do it on three. One, two, three. Go birds. Guys, thank you so much for coming. This was so wonderful. This was so fun. You guys can go follow them on their social media to keep up with all the things that they're doing. Did I say that about the guys? No. And I meant it. These ladies are incredible. And I always say the reason I don't like the term wags is because it. It diminishes the women that we have here and the things that they have going on. So make sure you go follow them. Check it out. These are incredible women who are doing incredible things and also just a great time. So go check them out. Thank you guys so much for coming on. Thank you.
