On April 2nd, on Saturday evening around 615 in the Sainsbury's car park in Tulsa Hill
Brixton, a Land Rover driver spotted a guy trying to.
Steel a motorbike and jumped right in to stop him.
Things escalated fast when the suspect pulled out a machete and threatened the driver, but
the motorist didn't back down, instead he rammed the guy, with his vehicle to keep him
from riding off.
Police rolled up just three minutes later, but both the driver and the thief had already
bounced from the scene.
Driving officers to piece it together, from reports and footage.
Soon after, cops nabbed a 19-year-old nearby, slapping him with charges like common assault,
grievous bodily harm, threats to kill, bike-and, vehicle theft, carrying an offensive weapon,
driving while this qualified, and holding drugs.
The Land Rover driver got in touch with police himself and is now assisting their investigation,
as they hunt for any extra witnesses to lock this.
