Yes, filgrimage your favorite afternoon show.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
I don't know who's dumping it yet, because I'm only halfway through it, but Friday at five o'clock.
All right, so listen, Monday at two, we'll reconvene, but I'm just poking my way through this.
Let me first again.
ESPN dot com.
It's that final hour, Felgerman.
It's a gender free Friday brought to you by Ketchus Law.
ESPN.com just dropped a long takeout inside the fallout of the Diana Rossini and Mike
Vrable photos.
The first question I'm going to ask is the night the story broke was I want to say Tuesday
of last week, because in my calendar we talked about it on Wednesday, the eighth, I write
down what we talk about every day.
So Wednesday, the eighth is when we first talked about it.
So I'm pretty sure that this was first posted Tuesday night, the seventh is going to be my
guess.
I'm going to go back to a text exchange with my, with Robbie Buckets at NBC Sports Boston
who texted me, go read page six in the post, because I told you the first thing I thought
of was here, what did you say?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right.
What did I say?
What did I, because sometime not that I'm important or anything, but they just, they're
such aggregators prolific aggregators that even sometimes things we say get reposted
there.
And so the first thing he said was go read the post and I'm like, what, what did I do?
What now?
Yeah.
It was Tuesday, April 7th.
Okay.
So Tuesday, April 7th.
All right.
So I just, I'm getting that straight because listen to this NFL reporter Diana Rossini was
at home in Bergen County on Easter Sunday when a reporter from the New York Post approached
the house, talk about something you never, like the, the bad enough when Robbie says
go, dude, you should check out the post and I go, God, how about when the post walks
up to your door?
Oh, I was like, Oh, what did I do?
What did I do?
What did I do?
The post knocks on her door, I, I, on Easter Sunday later that Sunday, having learned
the nature of the photo.
So, you know, there was an exchange, they said they had photos.
She told the post.
She was just at the owner's meetings where variable was too.
So I don't know what you're talking about with the photos.
Then when she learned the nature of the photos, she was on the phone with a crisis communications
expert strategizing how to respond to the story according to a person with knowledge of
the call.
I don't have to help me spin this.
So she was, she was, she knew about it on Sunday.
And with the help of a crisis management expert, that's what appeared in the story on Tuesday
night.
Yep.
That's what the expert had you to.
Yep.
In the days leading up, okay, in the days leading up to the report.
So they had two days, they had 48 hours in the two days leading up and following the post
report.
Rossini, Vrable, and executives from the athletic scrambled to respond to an explosive story
that raised questions about the relationship between one of the most high profile reporters
in the NFL and a coach of a flagship NFL franchise.
In addition to consulting with a crisis communicator, Rossini appealed directly to the times company
chief executive officer Meredith Coppin, I'm sorry, Meredith Levine, to plead her case.
According to five people with knowledge of the conversation, she also coordinated with
Vrable about how to respond to the post, said a person with knowledge of the communication.
Rossini and Vrable, who are both married to other people, told the post that the photos
didn't accurately reflect their interaction.
Vrable did not respond to request for comment for the story.
NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said the league is not reviewing Vrable's behavior as part
of the league's personal conduct policy.
A spokesman for the Patriots did not respond to a question about whether it review Vrable's
relationship with Rossini.
Rossini told ESPN she did not want to comment for the story and she did not reply to a detailed
list of questions or agents said refer to the statement that she gave the time.
Sorry, a little later on in the story, according to multiple people familiar with internal deliberations
at the New York Post, the outlet was open to changing the tone of the story.
Or possibly not running it if Rossini and Vrable could provide compelling evidence to
back up their statements that they had each been on a trip with friends.
This is the paragraph I just got to and I highlighted the exact same line.
In the days before the story ran, Rossini consulted advisors, including a veteran in crisis
communications, Rossini and Vrable also communicated about how to respond to the post, according
to a person with knowledge of those discussions and that's when we came back on and I stopped
reading.
Yeah.
Where's the photos of the girls trip?
Let's see two detailed receipts that you each have your own rooms at the ambiente rather
than one room that you've rented for yourselves.
This is probably what they've asked them for.
Yeah.
The post gave them an hour, two days.
The post gave them two days.
Yeah.
The post gave them an hour.
The post had okay.
If you give us the evidence that proves this, we'll hold it.
I mean, that's a man they still want to have with those dumbass denials.
What's the matter with you?
Yeah.
I'd fire that crisis management person that she reads down to.
I mean, good grief.
I mean, and maybe you just have to, if you're cheating on your spouse and you don't want
to get divorced, so you just go down like, no, that's not, they have a picture of you
in bed with her.
No, that's not her.
That's not a woman.
That's a refrigerator.
And I'm not changing my story no matter what, like you just don't ever cop to it.
So they just had to go down with the ship.
I mean, is that what it is?
They had two days before they even posted the story.
Yeah, they did.
To clean it up.
And they couldn't even.
And then so they still went ahead with the dumbass denial and the attack like the gaslighting
as you kids would call it.
Vrable saying it's laughable if you think anything was more than an innocent interaction.
You had two days before the thing came out to prove it was a, or give them something that
would indicate it was an innocent interaction, and they couldn't do it.
Again, I mean, presumably I haven't gotten through the whole story, but there's another
lining here that just quickly, it's at the bottom of the same paragraph.
Racini also offered to have her bosses speak to Vrable, which the company declined according
to two people familiar with the offer.
So she, she did offer off for them, but you know, I'm just think that that's interesting
and that they said no.
The second of is at the athletic learned about the impending story from Racini Tuesday afternoon.
Internally, Racini argued the photos were a sexist attack on a female reporter in a male
dominated field.
The people said she made the argument to her bosses at the athletic and called again,
Levine, if I'm pronouncing that correctly, Levian maybe, who is, I forget the editor
at the New York Times.
If someone, I'm sorry, I forgot who it was.
I'm just reading it on the fly.
And said that she had been traveling with friends.
The post though wanted to turn it into a scandal she told people internally, Racini also
offered to have her bosses speak with Vrable, okay, which the company declined.
While the athletic had been quick to rush to her defense ahead of the story, now executives
asked for more evidence from Racini such as text messages about an airport pickup, screenshots
of planning the trip or photos from a hike, the three people said.
They said Racini never provided sufficient evidence.
Text messages about an airport pickup, eh?
Like I said, let's see that phone.
Racini had become the face of not just the athletic, but of the Times company too.
She had?
Last year, Racini traveled to Kans.
Kans.
Kans.
Kans.
Kans.
Kans.
You don't have to.
Not Kans.
I thought was the Kans film festival.
Yeah.
Master said Kans.
I know the Kans.
The Kans film festival.
No, that's not Kans.
Kans film.
The Kans film festival.
No, no, no.
Yeah.
You gave the French pronunciation of it.
Thank you.
Yeah.
How it's pronounced.
Kans.
Yeah.
Kans.
C-A-N-N-E-S.
She traveled to Kans along with Times journalist Michael Barboa, Barbaro, hosted the
Daily and business reporter Andrew Ross Sorkin to help woo advertisers.
Oh, so this is like them back and she'd become the face of the Times.
So she went to the Kans film festival.
That was a line in naughty mas at one point.
Yeah.
No, no, no, no, no, not even that.
No.
Oh, no, no, no.
That was the naughty mas.
That was the naughty mas.
The naughty mas.
The naughty mas.
Hot, hot, hot, hot.
It's body mass.
That bit put me on the man as his Kans film festival.
Like a regular Russ Meyer over there.
She traveled to the Kans film festival along with Times journalist Michael Barboa.
I'm so about names, hosted the Daily and business reporter Andrew Ross Sorkin to help woo advertisers.
From the Super Bowl earlier this year, Rucini posted a selfie to Instagram of her and Levian together.
A Super Bowl to remember, Rucini wrote, always so grateful to cover the best game in the world.
But inside the athletic last week, the post report, the post report raised questions because it included an eyewitness account of Rucini and Vabel at the resort alone, which contradicted her version of events.
Well, the athletic had been quick to rush to her defense ahead of the story.
Now executives asked for more evidence from Rucini, such as text messages about an airport pickup, screen shots of planning the trip or photos from a hike.
So again, so that's what they're saying, they're saying, okay, if you don't even have to give us.
You know, photos on the hike would be nice, but how about just some text that prove that you plan the trip.
Or that you called for an Uber, you know what I mean? Like of course, just things that would.
It'd be so easy to come up with that stuff if you really did it and that if this was on the level.
Uber receipts, again, you can pull them up, just pull it right.
Vabel is not scheduled to address the median till the NFL draft next week.
It's unclear whether he'll address the players about the photos.
Okay, so I don't I'll stop here.
Says is not too much there.
I guess the big one is these dumbasses.
They were approached on Sunday and had a chance before it even posted, before it even was published.
To bury it by just proving that their story was legit and not like in a court of law, but just give us something.
Right.
That corroborates what you were saying.
That it was an innocent interaction.
You were there with friends.
You just happened to both be there at the same time with two different groups.
Just give us something that shows that and we won't even run the story.
Okay, they couldn't produce it because apparently they're lying.
Fine.
As people who cheat do they lie.
Now you're now it's going to go to print and you can't you not only can you not prove it to the post low bar.
You can't prove it.
But you're still going to go ahead with that cock a maybe those cock a maybe responses everyone on the attack anywhere.
Yep.
I find that dumb.
Like I guess if you can if you can get away with I mean I think it's stupid just to lie because it always comes out.
It always comes out.
You don't ever get away with it.
It may take time, but it always comes out always.
So I just wouldn't lie.
But if you feel you've gotten away with the lie that I guess that's one thing.
They didn't even get away with the lie and they still went ahead with it.
I just don't get that approach.
I hate that approach.
I mean the post gave him a chance.
And then you attack the post gave him a chance like I'm kind of surprised by that.
Like it not you know the post has got a reputation of like but they gave him a chance they gave me a chance to kill the story and they couldn't kill it.
The only other line I saw this is more of a media thing.
It's small because you're right.
There's not much beyond what you got there.
A lot of it is background after the point.
That's too bad.
I thought I was going to spend all weekend with this.
The the athletic initially defended Racini publicly but subsequently faced internal outrage from employees.
Several times and athletic staffers told the SPN.
This is a part of the story that frankly I'm kind of sympathetic to her.
And I'm not only stick up the ass.
Snoddy.
New York Times writers.
Are you surprised by it?
No.
But like F you.
And your journalistic and see like stop it.
Big like you're saying none of the news people never compromise themselves with their sources.
A whole like that part of it because I can just feel it.
The stuffy stuck up miserable old New York Times scribe who thinks they're some you know they're in some sort of higher plane.
Okay.
I understand what you're saying.
What if they were women?
Yeah.
There might be.
So like to me.
And they probably are.
Okay.
But again, you don't think like I would tell you that they have a right to be angry.
I guess.
Like this is one of the women fight this constantly Mike.
They fight it constantly in the business, especially in the sports side of it.
You know, the new side may be not as much, but they fight it constantly.
Anytime there is any bit of information that they get.
And a guy doesn't.
Oh, she's probably banging them.
I you know, I don't think it's that pervasive mass.
I don't think a lot of people feel that way anymore.
I don't know.
I don't think that.
I don't know.
I think they think I think some women want to believe that.
But no one I know does that.
No, no, I'm just telling you that the perception is that.
Right.
But I don't think I don't think most men do that anymore.
Okay.
But what about when it really happens?
In other words, when it really happens and they have pictures of it.
And then the paper wants to defend the person.
They're jealous of how much she makes.
Probably.
That's the problem.
Yeah, probably.
And that it's sports and that New York Times, you know, always hated sports.
Always stuck their nose down at the sports.
They barely had a sports page.
You know this about the New York Times.
Okay.
So I formed it out in the first place.
I understand all of that.
Because there are Bob sports.
I'm just telling you if it's a woman reporter that's angry, that I understand.
Yeah, I do too.
I don't know.
I'm just telling you that piece to it.
And at the end of the day, if someone gets mad at her for doing what she did,
because it affects their profession, the perception of them,
I think that's on her.
Yeah, most of us is on her.
Yeah, I'm just telling you.
Well, well, we're airing annoyances, you know what?
So we just got this handed to us by J Stu, right?
Like 15 minutes ago.
Yeah.
This posted it to in the afternoon on ESPN.com.
It's buried on this website.
You have to scroll basically all the way down on the front page
because the front page is all about WrestleMania 42.
Any cell stuff.
WNBA drafts have to be there.
NBA playoff, NBA playoff and names to know MLB draft.
And even if you go to the NFL portion of ESPN.com,
forget the 40, the true measure of car.
And it's out of that news box on the right.
No, it's, it's not in the news box of the right at all.
You have to scroll down a little bit on the page,
Roussini Rabel saga.
They don't want to have to even talk about this.
The push alert came at five o'clock just before five o'clock.
And they posted it at two.
That's ridiculous.
Well, anyway, there's that, okay?
We can, we'll go back to your calls.
I promise, right after these words.
You know the place.

My name's Mackenzie and I started to go fund me for the
adoptive mother of a nonverbal autistic child.
The mother had lost her job because she wasn't able to find
adequate care for this autistic child.
So she really needed some help with living expenses,
paying some back bills.
So I launched a GoFundMe to help support them during this crisis.
And we raised about $10,000 within just a couple of months.
I think that the surprising thing was by telling a clear story
and just like really being very clear about what we needed.
We have some really generous donations from people who are
really moved by the situation that this family was struggling with.
GoFundMe is the world's number one fundraising platform
entrusted by over 200 million people.

Boston's Best Sports Talk.
You can count on it.
Two or plus or two is a five.
And then it dawned on me.
New England's not like New York.
It's not like Philadelphia.
Because either the same people that got bullied by Bill Bellachack
for 20 years and took the beating like the soft balls they are.
So I'm sorry to say this when I once thought of,
by the way, I love Boston.
Boston's a great town.
All right.
And I'm great respect for the Boston fanbase.
I really do.
Like I'm not one of these guys because I'm a New Yorker.
I just hate Boston.
I hate Philly.
So what a disappointment.
So I'm sorry Boston.
You're no longer a real Northeast sports town.
You're not.
I love the people of Boston.
But the media embarrassed themselves yesterday.
Now the guys on the radio.
I thought did a good job.
Felt good.
Maserati.
Do a great job there in afternoons.
And they were all over this and they handled it like the pros they are.
So I have great respect for those guys.
Did I like those guys?
But man, how do you have a press conference with the patrons yesterday?
I'm not asking a single question.
How?
Well, I walked me through that.
That was a supercut of the week.
Brought to you by supercuts.
When you're thinking about your next haircut, use your head.
Head to any of the 120 Boston and Providence supercuts salon supercuts.
Real smart hair.
Back to your calls.
Trying to be quick.
Rich and Phoenix.
Go ahead Rich.
Hey, so big gym had the report.
What was reading it about Ruthie.
He saving this guy and the dog from the Jeep and the guy lifting her up.
Well, we were able was able to guy lifting her up.
That could change this story around on.
It was a tall guy.
The variable does go like six five.
Yeah, he's a big boy.
So I was waiting for someone to pick up on that.
That a tall guy picked her up and put her in the, but this happened today apparently.
Unless I was some sort of fake.
But apparently, Ruthie, he's saved a 72 year old man and his dog out of their Jeep
that had flipped over on a road in New Jersey.
That happened today.
Unbelievable.
Like crazy.
I know crazy.
Mark and Dorchester with the Red Sox lock.
Go ahead Mark.
I said, Mark and Dorchester.
Okay.
Baby call back during the baseball hour.
Okay.
Dan in the car.
Unvabel Rucini.
Yes, Dan.
So what's imagine a scenario of one of the big name male NFL reporters starts getting
exclusive scoops on the Colts.
And this journalist suddenly starts getting interviews with Carly, Ursi, Gordon, the owner of the culture.
We know it's a pretty hands on owner, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
Every bit of the story.
Yes.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
Same story.
My opening take was on the Bruins and Jeremy Swaman.
He makes just the same story.
I don't know what it is.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
Same story.
My opening take was on the Bruins and Jeremy Swaman.
He makes just the same story.
My opening take was on the Bruins and Jeremy Swaman.
He makes just about twice the amount of money that the Buffalo gold tender does.
He's a better gold tender.
He's a franchise gold tender.
He plays way more games.
You got the big edge in net in this series.
So let's see it.
That was most of my opening take.
Mike and Uber wants to weigh in on it.
Go ahead, Mike.
No, I wanted to weigh in on your cocking me.
Tanking thing that you're.
How do you want to go back there now?
Come on.
I want to go back there now because it's the same straw man.
You've been beating for 10 years.
Who's asking to trade McAvoy Swaman and Posternau take this year?
Well, to know but to get top five picks.
That's what you'd have to do to get to the bottom of the.
No, you don't have to get to the bottom of the league.
Who picked first overall last year?
That was the Islanders.
Right.
They didn't finish.
They got five.
Yeah.
They got one.
So you got to finish last year.
You got to get the point ping pong balls.
They got a long shot ping pong ball, didn't they?
Right.
Yes.
And if you go back and look at their picks.
They have one bad pick in the top.
The Yakopov.
Yeah.
Who was the top ranked guy?
Yeah.
Don't blame them for that.
Blame them for hiring the most incompetent guy ever graduate from.
So he's close back to Sherelle with you.
But ruining these do the the the the contention window where you had.
McTavid and tricycle on their rookie years.
Rookie contracts.
How do you know?
How do you not make that distinction over them at the bottom of the.
I just want to see someone in the last 10 years who was drafted.
I win something.
That's like like Florida.
Look at what.
What did Florida do this year?
Yeah.
What did Florida do?
I said the last 10 years.
So Florida didn't draft in the top in the last 10 years.
I bark off was like 13 years ago.
And.
Ekblad was like 15, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
They're in position to get Ekblad's replacement now because they didn't panic.
They didn't have the the older son sent out a crazy email in January that it's a disgrace
that they're not going to make the playoffs.
I'm not arguing with you anymore, Mike.
Like my beef isn't with you.
My beef is with draft nerds who just want high draft picks.
Who think that that's the ticket?
You're you're still arguing something else.
Like let it go.
All right.
They shouldn't have traded for Drew Stafford.
You're right.
Just let let that go.
Now I'm not.
I'm not doing that thing anymore.
It's really you're really talking about team building like long term.
I'm I'm talking about the whole idea of tanking to rack up draft picks is it can be very
flawed.
The fans who think the lottery is the way to go.
And it's I just don't see I haven't seen it recently.
They had 10 years ago and deeper.
Yes.
The Blackhawks won cups with taves and cane.
They were drafted in 06 and I'm telling the last 10 years.
High draft picks the last 10 years.
Decade.
What if they won?
Is it one team that's really done that?
And again, lightning and stamp coasts.
And that was they were those are drafted more than 10 years ago.
The the avalanche.
Macar.
I mean, but other than that, I don't see these kids winning.
But I'm not arguing with you anymore.
Mike.
Cori.
A Cori and Corey Passatori.
A Cori and champion.
Cori Passatori.
What's your take on Fable Rucini?
Well, I thought I'd do some investigative journalism.
Here we go.
Okay.
Okay.
Because since with Instagram, I have a fair amount of followers
in the blue deck mark.
If I add some of the message, I'm actually getting notified.
So I messaged Chrissy Freud.
Why not?
And said, yay.
You know, I'm Italian.
Mads understands this.
I get in trouble for saying what I think of people and just saying the truth.
Yeah.
So, you know, good for you for saying what you just say.
Well, blah, blah, blah.
And so I don't even know what to learn more.
And she said, when things come down on the story, I'll give you some info.
jutty and time, but Chrissy Freud says.
But I'm just a son of the court.
And I'll tell him, Corey just quickly did you tell?
Special correspondent Corey Passatori.
Exactly.
Investigated report.
Olga Maas, special assignment report.
Corey, did you tell her you're going to go public with it?
No, no, no, no, but I mean.
Well, that's this is why hold on.
This is, I don't know the rules of the beat
here guy.
You're gonna beat me.
Yeah, you should tell me.
He hasn't said anything.
I'm just saying, well, we'll find out later.
out later, but I'm a sonnest as an Italian that you said in one of these stories that they
got an airport pick up or Diana got an airport. I mean, if you're going to have an affair
and let even something smaller and therefore pick up, you got to get a car from your friend
that's not registered with a fake license, but you can't let other people. I don't know
what I think what they were looking for was just some sort of receipts that proves she
planned a girls trip. Exactly. I mean, that's why I read that again. I just, yeah, you
got to write. I just read it on the fly. They gave us something that shows it was a
girl trip. Text exchanges with your friends about when you were arriving, when you're not
arriving, you know, a car pick up, you don't pick me up. I think that's what that was.
I think that's what that was. Yeah, because anytime you go on a trip, right, and see how
we're getting it this time, you're getting it at that time. K, we'll see you at the hotel.
Right. There's a million of those. Right. She couldn't produce anything. Right. Apparently
so that both her publication and the post gave both of them. I mean, I don't know what
the athletic, I don't think the athletic dot was frable, but the post gave Rossini and
Rable two days. Correct. To come up with anything that would show they were there with other
people or that corroborated their statements to the post and they couldn't do it. No, the
only thing they could come up with was lying statements have proved to be lies and they
stuck with them. Even after they, that's what blows me away. You had two days to show the
post and internally for Rossini, two days to show those places, certainly the post and
they couldn't and then they still went ahead with those ridiculous denials where they turned
it on other people. That's the one that I just like at that point, the jig is up or whatever
that expression is. You know what I mean? Like that's that, guys. Final segment thoughts
calls in when you want to throw for a special teams on the big board. Yeah. Come in. Yeah.
It's a special team coming your way right. If a big jammer, you get you up to it. You know

I want to get to the gossip. Everything you said is right.
Failure and mass, the sportsbook.
Green color, buddy!
Oh, too high!
Got the magnet.
I'm going with blue.
That was just as bad as mine.
Yup, another one.
That was really bad.
Wow.
You ready?
I'm ready, Mass.
Blue, I'm throwing blue.
Hit it.
Oh my god, he missed the board.
That one came out of the hand.
Completely missed the board.
You got to throw again.
That you have to throw again.
That one has to be a redo.
Because we at least have to hit the board.
Yeah, there has to be some kind of contact.
That was embarrassing, dude.
You can see the mark on the wall.
Oh my god.
You can actually see that.
Yeah, he did.
Oh my god, that's an early release.
That was so bad.
That was your problem.
He's been throwing horribly this year.
I've been really bad.
Mass has been way off.
Big control problems.
But he's going to throw first.
Go ahead, Mass.
Better.
High, a little high, right?
No, I see it.
OK, Mass, third and final throw.
Your last one was a little better.
Let me see what you got.
OK, green color, birdie.
Oh my god.
Jesus, Mass.
What's the matter with you?
I don't know.
You got the UR Roman Anthony right now.
I got the Yimps.
OK, here we go.
Ah.
Ah.
Oh.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
There was four of them.
Oh, there was four of them.
Oh, Mario.
Oh, Mario.
Oh, there's a good shot.
Oh, there's four of them.
Green color, birdie.
Green color, birdie.
Color, birdie.
Green color, birdie.
Color, birdie.
Color, birdie.
Oh, he hit the camera.
Oh, my god.
Oh, my god.
He missed the board.
That one came out of the hand.
Completely missed the board.
That's it.
We're two worst throws I've ever had.
What's gotten into you?
Age.
Trying to find the F and page.
It stuck together.
Oh, boy.
The mark was in the bathroom.
Bar thing.
Seriously.
We've sort of taken a little bit of a break today.
As we do on the Friday of the big board fortnight,
is what we've come to call this.
On Friday, we take a little bit of a breather.
It's like Wimbledon in some fortnight.
It's a fortnight.
It starts the Monday before the draft and on Thursday.
So it's almost two full show weeks.
So on Friday, we sort of give you a recap and then do specialist.
Now, could you use a punter?
Yep.
And so this is the, we just let it fly.
There's a page of kickers.
There's a page of punters.
They're all on the same spread in the magazine.
And shouldn't we avoid kickers or it doesn't go kickers?
This is not how we really, and you can try to.
The left is kickers.
The right is punters.
We got more gallus last year.
The way you guys throw.
It's like anything is possible.
You can't really aim it.
So wait a second.
Just talk for one second.
All right.
So the right page is punters.
That's at least.
That's good to know.
That's all right.
They could use a punter.
That guy sucks.
But they're not, I don't think they're getting rid of board or gallus.
No.
But you're never known.
Maybe brain competition.
Maybe he wants to get paid.
The Peterson School is the presenting sponsor of the Feligom Mass Bigboard.
The Peterson School is drafting instructors for all locations.
If you're an expert in your trade and want to share your knowledge
of his at PetersonSchool.com, go ahead, Mass.
What do we got?
Okay.
Murray and I are changing color.
So I am throwing the black marker.
Here we go.
Ah!
They have a picture.
They have a picture.
They have a picture.
Very good, Mass.
Brett, Thorsten, Georgia.
You a kicker?
Georgia punter.
Punter.
All right.
There we go.
Blue.
I want to go right.
So.
Right middle.
Jack Stonehouse.
Syracuse.
Okay.
Stonehouse.
Yeah.
Color party.
Left page.
Oh, back.
Kickers.
I know this one.
I know this guy.
Barthie, help me pronounce the name from Hawaii.
Ken Sy.
Matt Susalla.
Yeah.
I know this guy.
Barthie, help me pronounce the name from Hawaii.
Ken Sy.
Matt Susalla.
What was it?
It's captured off here.
Ken Sy.
Matt Susalla.
Is that, is that how you pronounce it?
I, I honestly am unsure on that one.
Okay.
This one.
You got me the kicker from Hawaii.
The kicker from Hawaii.
Yeah.
He's Japanese.
He's Japanese.
Like Japanese.
Not Japanese American.
Like he grew up in Japan.
Okay.
And he learned how to feel gold kick on YouTube.
Oh, cool.
They don't have a, I don't think they have American football
over there.
Or it's not prominent if they do.
He just took a liking to kick it.
Kickin' footballs.
Watch YouTube.
All the way around the world watching YouTube and decided to start just screwing around
in his backyard or wherever.
Right.
Is that right?
Ken Sy.
Matt Susalla.
You felt her.
I am so proud of you right now.
This is such a college football drafts sickle thing to know.
You completely nailed it.
Very well done.
It's probably not going to be a patriot.
I don't think they're moving on from Borgolas.
But he should be in the NFL.
And you got that one.
Well done.
It's a cool story and they love him.
It just happened.
I mean, I know what happened.
I was, how'd you happen?
I find out that you usually avoid this stuff like a play.
I don't know.
This is what I do know.
That I must have been gambling.
I must have been down.
And there must have been like an 11 p.m. Hawaii game that I bet.
And I had to watch the thing.
Dougher's a Hawaii college football sickle.
And welcome.
And I just remember this guy.
And he was known affectionately as the Tokyo toe.
Matt Susalla is easily one of the best stories in this draft class.
Self-trained almost entirely by observing YouTube videos
and putting the technique into practice.
Matt Susalla started kicking at Hawking College
where he got his range to 50 yards before transferring to Hawaii in 2024.
He turned 27 in January.
Wow.
He's 27.
So he's just a Japanese kid.
And I say that like not Japanese.
He's in Japan.
Just decided was saw on YouTube field goal kicking
and trained himself how to kick.
You know what though?
The Dallas kicker was like 27 or something when he broke into the league.
Is that right?
Yeah.
He was old.
I'll look it up.
And now he's the top kicker on the board.
So I'm proud to have Kaisei.
I'm sorry.
Ken Sai, Matt Susalla on the Feligom As big board.
Put him there.
Punters.
Brett Forson, Georgia.
One of the one of the famed products
from pro kick Australia with the background in Australian rules football.
Oh, you got an Aussie, Matt.
Yeah.
See, I got the two foreigners.
Is it one of these guys that sort of runs a couple steps to his right
and then kicks it as he's rolling out, if you will?
Love it.
Barthie, go ahead.
No, he, he, they're training the Australian punters now to punt like the NFL.
Oh, can he kick?
But it's a strong pipeline.
But he's an Aussie.
Yeah.
They can kick the crap out of it down there.
Strengths.
A thick and stout body type you would expect in a rugby match.
Love it.
He has treat trunk legs and a square frame.
Powerful leg evident in thunderous impact with pigskin.
Love it.
Thunder.
Thunder from dad and dad.
Made an early impression as a freshman pushing the ball.
75 yards down the field.
Can drop the ball with touch to the corner.
Oh, I want this guy.
And hit his landmarks at or around the 10 to let his coverage team
do the dirty work.
Can hit landmarks.
Yeah, I can hit the prove as with many of the weaknesses.
As with many of the Australian kicking prospects.
Thorsten is over aged at 26 and has suffered some injuries during his time at Georgia.
And while none of them have been to his kicking leg, his range did dip after them.
Might even be too intense in playing special teams.
Risking injury when not always necessary.
He goes.
I'm going to get a mate.
He was head first in trying to tackle.
Yeah.
Well, put him on the board.
Brett.
Try to return it on me.
Brett, force in Georgia.
By the way, Brandon Aubrey, 28 when he broke in with Dallas.
Is that right?
Yeah.
Jack Stonehouse.
Syracuse is our final one.
Brother of former Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins Punter.
Ryan Stonehouse.
And son of former USC in New York.
Giants punter.
John Stonehouse.
There's some lineage.
Comes from the house of Stonehouse.
Yes, the Stonehouse.
There's no relation to this tank ovens.
It's a.
So his Syracuse biosphere.
It's a.
It's a.
It's a.
So his Syracuse bios.
It's his cousin, not his brother.
But whoever that is.
Ryan.
Or Ryan punted for variable in Tennessee.
He was on the Titans when variable was there.
Put this guy back and read his bios.
He's a punter.
Jack Stonehouse.
Put him on the board.
Feliger and Madison game.
Parley.
Comes your way now.
It's Madison's turning.
He's honking out this weekend, folks.
Yep.
It's the honk Parley.
Here's our bet.
Right now.
It's at the Draft King Sports.
It's a.
It's a.
It's a.
It's a.
Yeah.
Get.
Get.
Get.
Get.
Get some rest.
Yeah.
You can see it in this scroll, you know, we're like right next to lbronjas guitar.
Whoever.
Report and always picking up.
There's much.
A celebrity.
That.
That.
They have featured picks.
We're in that celebrity gallery.
And if it's not exactly Santor Gillaby, I take it back.
But like people like that.
Really big time.
Big hitters.
Yep.
We're on that list.
And it's sponsored by the Draft King Sports book.
A $100 bet.
Well, when you $7.50 five.
He's got the Bruins on Sunday on the puck line,
plus one and a half.
I figured they'll keep it close.
They've been good at home this year.
I didn't even realize they still did puck line.
They do, I'll take the one and a half.
Big time.
Then you have, well, this doesn't seem right.
New York Knicks.
Yeah, they're the fourth ad.
We added a four team, so it's a hotline, plus the Knicks.
So the, oh, I see, I see, I see, I see, I see, I see, I see.
You've got, you've got the Celtics over two, 12 and a half.
You've got Jalen Brown over 25 and a half,
and then you add a Knicks minus five and a half,
hosting the Hawkson Game 1.
Correct.
And Philly, the Sixers Games this year averaged 232 points
a game.
Jalen Brown obviously averaged 28.7.
We like him going 25 and over.
The Knicks won five of their last six.
The Hawks lost three or four.
Bruins won three and one against Buffalo this year.
So we're doing a Boston Honk Parley and adding the Knicks on for good measure.
Dracking sports, it brings you the Felger and Maz program here on 98.5.
The sports time again, the sports of Jalen Brown over 25 and a half,
Brown average 28.7 this year.
And Knicks of one five, their last six,
ending the regular season, Hawks have lost three or four.
So again, Boston Honk Parley, Bruins, plus the one and a half on the goal line,
Celtics Sixers over two, 12 and a half.
Jalen Brown over 25 and a half.
And then Knicks minus five and a half versus the Hawks put it on the board.
Let's do a quick email before we get to the final word, please.
It's the Coleman Electric email of the day.
The Felger, I really hate you.
And I think Maz is a boob.
It's electric.

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
The in-cells are the in-cells are like, what the f is that?
I don't want to work to figure out what the hell you're talking in-cell in-cell and what's
in-cell.
We don't know.
No one knew.
I got 400 emails.
I'll just read one.
Stephen writes in, subject line, in-cell defined.
It stands for Maz involuntarily celibate.
These are men who desire to have a relationship or sex with a woman, but have given up trying.
Formerly referred to as nerds, geeks, wallflowers, and in general losers.
Stephen wrote a formerly referred to as married man.
Involuntarily celibate is in-cell.
I'm glad we got to the bottom of that.
Let's do the final word, shall we?
Yeah.
Now, on Velgar and Maz, it's the final word recapping this four-hour show in four minutes,
which leads to the question, does it really need to be four hours long?
No.
Final word brought to you by Tom Fairtire.

Name one hitter on the twins.
Uh, uh, Bucks and Pete Brian Bucks.
Did he still there?
Yeah.
I got it.
Okay, other than him.
I can't.
I was, I was, I was reaching on that one.
No, I don't think I can.
Me neither.
6177790.
990.
No, he's got Joe.
Oh, hitter.
Oh.
This has been.
How to tell when the hosts aren't listening.
Catherine is in Quincy wants to talk about Alex Cora.
Hi, Catherine.
Hi.
I think that Alex Cora is a little bit of a bull and other story.
Okay.
Stick a finger in your cheek.
You're just, you're.
I like this James Higgins.
I like him.
I like his game.
Watch him up and down the ice.
To appreciate it.
He's no clip on your TikTok kid.
He's not a TikTok player because he's had no highlights.
His one assist.
He just kicked the puck along the kick plate in the corner.
Nothing to see there.
He hasn't had any power play time because they've had no power plays in his two games.
Is that right?
They haven't even had a powerful one.
So he hasn't had any power play time.
Yeah, big guy.
Soft Rod.
Regular rod.
The, you know, the hard rod.
Sure.
Who doesn't want one of those?
I'm sorry.
I'm right.
I am.
Thank you.
Fitting end.
Definitely.
Stay tuned for the baseball hour.
It's no longer the Friday night circle round table.
Or maybe it is.
I see a bunch of baseball players walking around back there.
Yeah.
McCarthy and Milliken both here tonight.
God help you.
Yep. God help me is right.
Although I can pretty much go into shutdown mode.
So some news coming out of family park tonight.
The red socks.
Rearranged the debt.
I'm sorry.
Reorganize their lineup.
They came up with a new lineup,
which will give you right off the top of the show.
They start when I think it's a very important home stand,
because they're playing good competitions,
certainly good pitching.
I think there is an opportunity at a home stand like this
to show that you can actually play good baseball
against good competition.
I'm not telling you I bet on it.
I'm just telling you that when you play good teams,
it's an opportunity.
Here comes Maz and Murray.
I have a great weekend.
It's getting very sporty around here.
Which I, you know, I like.
Bruin Celtics on Sunday here on 985.
The sports hub were back at it.
Monday at 2 to discuss it.
