The war in the Middle East is continuing to cause concerns for Australian petrol and diesel supply, with National Cabinet meeting today to talk fuel.
Oil's been blocked coming through the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran's warning it could impose another oil chokehold.
State and territory leaders are set to ask the federal government how much fuel is coming and when, while calling for a national approach to any potential measures like rationing.
With prices soaring and hundreds of serve stations reporting shortages, Victoria and Tasmania have made public transport free - and there are calls for other states to follow suit.
In the Middle East, there's no signs of the war letting up, with Iran saying it's carried out strikes in the Gulf against US and Israeli targets.
There have been repeated attacks on infrastructure across the region in recent days, including in the UAE and Kuwait.
So far, US-Israeli attacks have been through airstrikes, but now Iran's accused America of secretly gearing up for a ground invasion as Washington sends thousands of troops to the region, despite ongoing diplomatic talks.
Meanwhile, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu's ordered his military further into southern Lebanon, with many there fearing an Israeli occupation.
Israeli attacks have displaced over a million Lebanese people.
And WA premier Roger Cook will head to cyclone-hit areas of WA today.
Tropical Cyclone Narelle hit the state's northwest on Friday, days after it made landfall in Queensland and the NT.
It caused huge damage in the Gascoyne region, including in tourist hotspots like Exmouth which usually see an influx of visitors at this time of year.
Specialist teams are helping with the cleanup.
