In this episode I am joined by Lee Smith, a data center consultant based in Northern Virginia, US. We discuss Lee's extensive career in the data center sector and a number of key topics in the sector today.

Lee started his career in data centres in South Africa before making the move to the US. Lee shares how he developed his career and how the sector has evolved.

The people are what make the data centre sector such a great place to work and Lee outlines how people have been so important in his career. 

Lee also shares what it is like to live and work in 'Data Center Alley', how the African continent has evolved, and what we need to do to try and manage the ongoing talent challenge.
