Who's ready for the truss fall?
Hey, if you like me and you get in the car and you're wondering,
what can I listen to when it comes to a podcast?
The same old thing is every day.
That's why we created Arrow.net,
A-R-R-O-E.net, one of the hot features, That Voice.
I've spent 10 years with those that have been featured
on NBC's The Voice.
Go back, re-equate yourself to the conversation,
and relive those moments before they became,
what they became, That Voice.
Only on arrow.net, A-R-R-O-E.net.
Enjoy your exploration.
Hi, Arrow.
Hello and good morning, you guys.
How are you doing today?
Fantastic. How are you?
Fantastic as well, and very excited to share a conversation with you,
because as an adult, I never dreamed of having my own Lego land.
In other words, it's like, wow, oh my god,
I've been there since the very first Lego was probably invented,
and now we've got Lego land.
I think you've never been to a Lego land partner, have you?
I have never, but yeah, it's really excited my imagination
for so many different reasons, not only for myself,
but for my grandchildren and everybody after,
because this is an opportunity to really expand your imagination
and, and basically, your adventure.
It is, and we have three Lego land parts here in North America,
one in New York, one in Florida and California,
and of course, Florida and California,
we are in dollar mode right now,
because we just launched Lego Galaxy,
so we opened it at February 27th at Lego Land Florida.
We opened it here, March 6th at Lego Land California,
where Tom and I are currently standing in the center
of this massive 2.4 acre land,
and Lego Land California loan has more than 60 ride shows,
detections for your towards two to 12 year olds,
and there are more than 30,000 Lego models
created at more than 50 million Lego bricks inside the park alone.
So, if you're excited about Lego in general,
this is a place to be.
Well, you're giving us that opportunity to reach out there
with space, because when I was a kid, we had Apollo.
You're allowing us and our children to go,
hey, look, there is hope out there,
we can reach out there.
I'm going to go to Lego Galaxy,
and we're going to make this thing happen as a family.
And what's really cool about Lego Galaxy
is with the co-creation of Lego,
we've leaned into the historic Lego space set.
So, the, the space port 85 and 86 are named
after the historic Lego sets from the late 70s,
and when you come and visit the site,
you'll actually get to see some of the sets
from over six decades of Lego's
from the 70s, 80s, 90s,
all the way through now,
and hopefully inspired to build some of the new
space Lego sets of the future.
You know, it's one of those things where it's like
every adult and every child has something to talk about
when you break out the Lego's or you go to Lego Galaxy.
It really is a family connection here,
and I just commend you guys so highly on this.
Thank you.
I think that's one of the things that I love about part two.
I mean, I, I grew up playing with Lego.
My boys play with Lego, I have a grandson as well now
who's going to be playing with Lego,
and it's, it spans generations and so the space,
that's why it fits a natural fit,
because it's something that all generations can relate to,
can explore, and can learn about together.
So, like is it safe to say,
because we've all had a Lego moment
where we step on one unexpectedly,
at least when they step onto Lego Galaxy,
they're going into an area that's going to be fun,
fun, fun, fun, fun, and not like stepping on a Lego.
Yeah, it's way more fun than stepping on a Lego
in the middle of the night as you get up there to something.
And we've designed this family roller coaster.
It's our first roller coaster in California in 25 years,
and our first in Florida in 20.
And it's a family, family roller coaster.
So everybody from the little guys and girls
to mom and dad are going to get on
and have an amazing experience.
How were you guys able to even design this?
Because I mean, this is exactly what we would love to have
with a roller coaster.
You take our imagination and everything
that makes a roller coaster fun
into one location,
and all of a sudden it's like,
we've got to do it again.
Do it again.
Well, that goes the goal.
And one of the cool things is we've been seeing people get
off of the ride,
and everybody's reaction is,
oh my god, I want to do it again.
So there's no better feeling than that.
As far as the design,
we worked really hard
so that we could tell a story.
So there's a mission.
And you're going to get to see
a 25 times scale Lego minifigure
come to life.
And it's our first animatronic minifigure ever.
So this different or chief engineer
gives us our mission.
We get to customize our spacecraft.
So we get to select our nose,
the wings, the tail.
And even some special features
that you'll get to see throughout the ride
with a really, really neat feature.
Please do not move.
There's more with Julia Strata and Tom Store.
You might not be able to drop everything
and book a ticket to Italy,
but you can go to the theater
on April 10th for you, me, and Tuscany.

Here at the Zebra,
research shows the average person
would rather endure a root canal
than search for auto and home insurance.
Just try to relax.
Or be trapped in a car
for eight hours with toddlers on a sugar high.
Or remove a nest of irate hornets.

We do the searching you to the savings.
I think I'll wait inside.
Lego Land and the all-new Lego Galaxy.
We are back with Julia Strata and Tom Store.
What I want to do is I want to talk directly
with the young adults that are listening right now.
See, this is what happens
when you take a passion for Legos
and you can bring it to life for other people
who will stop into visit.
In other words, don't just invest in the fun,
but invest in the creativity that's required
to make this happen.
That's what I've always loved about Lego
is that you're all about building together
so that other people can join together
in family fun.
Exactly.
And you know what?
In the here in Lego Galaxy,
there's several different ways to do that.
So like Tom was talking about
the Galaxy Cluster, you're designing your own spacecraft.
You're doing it on digital streams.
You were mixing technology with storytelling.
You can go in the rocket assembly bay.
And you can build with Lego your own spacecraft.
And then you can scan it digitally
and launch it off into cyber space.
And then there's a junior astronaut training zone
where you can go and play with the Duplo bricks,
which are both the bigger.
They're kind of like twice the size.
Literally double the size of a Lego brick
for the smaller hand.
So by toddler, you know,
grandson will be fine with those.
But the older kids will be fine with the standard bricks.
But it's just a great way to blend the families together.
They're constantly building.
They're constantly learning
and stretching their creativity beyond the meds base.
But you know what?
You don't make it sound like it's learning.
You make it sound like that it's fun.
And oh, by the way,
I just happen to pick something up along the way
that I'm going to build with myself.
That's what I love about this is that you understand
how to get to that little area of our heart.
Be creative.
Trust creativity.
Have fun with your family.
Yeah.
And I love that you pick up on that area.
You know, we do that throughout our entire resort.
We have two Lego and hotels.
And if we've learned that a lot of times, you know,
kids don't want to leave the theme park.
So we've extended that experience into Lego and hotel,
Lego and cosplay hotel.
So they're going into there.
And if you can extend the play and the fun,
we have a treasure hunt in each room.
Each room has a fun bed,
a bundle bed,
and amazing seeming throughout.
And then you go into a Lego and water park.
And again, you get to build a raft river
where you're taking some bricks
and you're putting it on your own raft
that you float through a lazy river.
So it's just a constant seeming,
constant storytelling, constant building,
but at your point, creativity and its fun to the whole family.
One of the superstars of Lego Galaxy,
as well as Lego Land,
is the fact that you choose the right colors,
colorizing everything the way that you do,
making them vibrant.
This is a positive moment from Step 1,
all the way through the experience.
Yeah.
And that's a great example as Lego Galaxy.
The colors are extremely vibrant.
We have blues.
We have oranges.
There's fluorescent scenes and greens.
And it goes back to the historic Lego set.
So we pick up on some of all the different color palettes
from across the years
and it's all come together beautifully here
in Southern California and Central Florida.
It looks so cool.
I would love to know how many little ones
are sitting there going.
Well, I want to be Biff Dipper.
I want to be able to be the one
that helps people go into their own imagination
and fly through this galaxy.
I want to be Biff Dipper.
I think they all do, right?
Oh, yes.
Yes.
You want to be either Biff Dipper,
or Danny,
or one of the other hundreds of many figures
that we have throughout the park.
Wow.
Where can people go to find out more about everything
that you're doing?
Because we're about ready to jump into the summer
traveling months
and we need that destination.
There's a perfect time to come.
And it's beautiful here in California.
It's beautiful.
Florida right now.
It's sort of Legoland.com.
You can see those parts there.
And it's special going on right away.
You can need to get 40% off.
You can get $50 off hotel.
And the special packages
that the hotel's actually
and there's three of them to choose from in Florida.
So it's great time to come on out and visit them.
Wow.
You guys have got to come back
and share some more in the future.
And I would love to hear the two of you
on your own Legoland podcast with Julian Tom.
That just sounds like the perfect podcast.
Sounds good to meet you.
Good to see you.
Good to see you.
Good to see you.
Good to see you.
Good to see you.
Well, you guys be brilliant today.
Okay.
Thank you.
Good to see you.
Good to see you.
