No secret that Donald Trump loves attention.
He loves to be on television.
He loves to be in the media.
My question is, though, that I've noticed
these cabinet meetings that Donald Trump has.
It's starting to creep in, gradually, gradually, gradually.
Every time he has a cabinet meeting,
for some reason, the either broadcast or cable news channels,
air these things.
Some of them do the whole entire thing live.
Now, they got so much criticism,
and during the first run in 2016,
about airing Donald Trump's rallies,
just Willie Nilly without fact checking
because you know he has a problem with the truth.
And so the same thing is sort of happening
instead of like a Trump rally,
it has become the Trump cabinet meeting,
which becomes a Trump rally,
which becomes propaganda and lies about what he wants,
the mission, all of that.
So this time, though, was a lot about,
this latest cabinet meeting that just happened,
was mostly about the war.
But it seemed odd that he sort of talked about the war,
but then kept veering off into other things
as after he gave the propaganda.
And through that, through talking about the war,
he came up with propaganda,
but it was this sort of side note things that's weird.
And I kept wondering, why are we doing this?
What's going on?
This is not good.
What's going on?
Take the information, watch it, record it,
and then give context to it by playing it back to your audience.
That's how I feel.
Because that's how people become the most informed
about the truth.
But the thing is, back to, I felt like when I was watching it,
like, what's up, he's bored.
And sure enough, this news report,
this breaking news report happened.
Roll it.
Yeah, well, good morning.
That's right.
Look, some really eliminating reporting here,
just about the growing tension that exists within the White House
on the messaging on the war with Iran.
That's from the president himself
and also the White House communications team.
I spoke with three different White House officials
about this, two of which you were actively
still employed at the White House.
One of them told me that the president's messaging
around Iran over the past couple of weeks,
but increasingly so, has been hyperbolic.
They continue to say that the president
has essentially grown bored with the war in Iran
and is looking to round things up.
And it's already shifted his energy
to more domestic issues.
Another official was telling me
that typically a strategy of the president
that he's employed over the years
is essentially lying to the American people,
but knowing that eventually they will get on board
with some of the things that he's saying,
he's kind of slowly ingest that into their system,
but that this time around,
in a war-like setting, that's not necessarily the case,
it's not hitting the same way it has previously.
There's also this second component in frustration
amongst folks inside the White House walls
about the social media strategy taking place
about the war in Iran right now.
We've seen over the past couple of weeks,
White House social media accounts,
posting a lot of these meme-like posts,
essentially meming movies, rap songs,
and showing in compilation these attacks
that are killing, of course, Americans have died,
as well as folks in the Middle East,
making very light of the subject.
One individual told me that he was upset
to be working at the White House right now
at a time like this, said the videos were cringe,
disrespectful, and gross.
I threw line here, though,
for all of these White House officials
that I spoke with here,
is that they say that they're not going to voice
their opinion inside White House walls,
because there is a real fear,
especially in a second Trump administration,
that voicing their opinion of disagreements
in this moment would mean losing their jobs.
Okay, and that's the problem.
There's so much, that was a great report.
Jake Trailer over at the MS now,
was a great report I let it play on long,
because I think it's really important.
Two things, one, he's bored.
The other thing is that they are not on social media,
not taking this seriously.
Should we be surprised?
They didn't take the protesters seriously.
They didn't take the arrest of protesters.
They mocked protesters in the church,
mocked his political enemies.
You saw the war where they did,
they're doing with the war like a sort of video game
or a golf game or something.
I mean, it's just really juvenile.
And one wonders like, what is happening?
What, this can't be real.
This can't be the United States of America,
which sort of decides the trajectory of the world,
especially when you are starting wars
and you have the power to somewhat end a war.
Now, he's bored.
Now, imagine how the families of the 175 mostly school girls,
the people who died because of a mistake
reportedly by the US military and the US,
the Department of Justice or the Department of Justice
or the Defense Secretary.
And he's bored, but the truth to it is,
yeah, he seems bored.
And if this doesn't give you an indication
that he is not a serious person
and he is bored with what's going on,
let's talk about Sharpies, watch.
For 25 million and it would be better,
it would be better.
See, this pen right here, this pen is an interesting example,
it's the same thing.
So this pen is very inexpensive, but it writes well.
I like it.
But I can't have the pen to wait.
Well, as you know what it is,
I don't want to give too much publicity,
but they do trip me in well, Sharpie.
So I came here to have $1,000 pens.
And you know, you hand pens out, you're signing,
and you hand them out.
You're handing them to all these people.
Sometimes you have 30, 40 people.
And there were $1,000 a piece.
Beautiful pen, ballpoint.
1,000 who's gold, silver, gorgeous.
But I'm handing out the kids that don't even know what they're.
What is this, mommy?
These kids, they're getting a pen for $1,000.
They have no idea what it is.
And I feel guilty because I'm like, you know,
by nature, I don't, you know, it's the government.
I love the government, like I love.
OK.
All right, good, we got it.
This went on for an extraordinary,
anordinate amount of time.
Like, why are we talking about, why
is he talking about Sharpies when we're in the middle of a war?
Again, I go back to, why are we
airing cabinet meetings live?
Because this is, how is this productive for the American people?
What do they get out of this by having that run?
Could there be more important information
that they are learning while he is sitting
there waxing poetic about Sharpies?
And also, in the same cabinet meetings,
spouting racist propaganda, racist theories
about Somalia Americans and Somalia itself, watch.
And in the case of Minnesota, it's a lot,
it's very Somalia oriented.
Think of it, these people come from a crooked country,
disgusting country, one of the worst countries in the world,
acknowledge to be one of the worst countries in the world.
Some people say it's the worst.
They have no money, they have nothing.
They come to our country, low IQs, and they rob us blind.
OK, so you get it.
And then he goes on to demonize some stupid people,
on to demonize the folks.
And then misinformation about the Dow, roll it.
Press to America, bro, we're focused here at home
on building the greatest economy in the issue of the world.
Now, before the start of the Dow hit 50,000,
the S&P hit 7,000.
Both of those achievements were not achievable.
They, every one of you, most of you, I guess,
said you'll never hit 50,000 during a four-year period,
because it was too high.
OK, well, we hit it for the first year.
Nobody cares about that.
And it's not at 50,000 hours.
As a matter of fact, the Dow has been down.
People are really going through and just rating their 401Ks
and their retirement savings, because the economy is so bad.
And he is talking about the Dow at 50,000 again.
How is this productive for the American people?
How is insulting people with mental disabilities?
Or how is that productive, roll it?
I believe he took himself out of the running
when he says he suffers from mental disability.
Let me pause.
He's talking about Gavin Newsom.
I believe that he's talking about Gavin Newsom when Gavin Newsom
says that he has dyslexia or he's dyslexic.
And then Donald Trump responded this way, keep going.
Talk that way about somebody with mental disability.
I said, I have no problem with it,
but I don't want a person with mental disability
to be my president.
I mean, you don't want to have a person
with mental disability being your president.
And Gavin Newsom said that he can't read a speech.
He can't do almost anything.
And then he said he's as dumb as all the people in the room.
And he got accused of being a racist,
which was an amazing saying, I thought
it was the worst interview I've ever seen anybody give.
He's actually a very stupid person.
So he's a very stupid person.
How is he insulting and the calling people by name
and demeaning people who have disabilities?
How is that productive?
Why are we listening to that to this crazy person?
And then this is, I think,
one of the most important things that he said,
because I don't think he realized that this was a self-own.
And if I were in that room or,
and most people who can think logically
and maybe are not mega-brained,
they would be thinking the same thing like, wait a minute,
are you talking about yourself?
And even so, even if they are mega,
they had to have thought of this.
Because Donald Trump says he doesn't want
a stupid person as president.
I think that that statement, that interview,
he admitted that he's a stupid person.
I don't want a stupid person being president, you know?
LAUGHTER
Is he talking about himself?
Is he talking about himself?
That's what everyone wonders.
And most people don't want a super president.
And the polling shows right now,
most people think that we have one.
Again, why are we hearing this?
Why is this being run live on the networks,
on some of the networks?
How is this productive just for him to sit there
and insult people and to give misinformation?
Now, something I thought that was good
that came out of that,
was that his hypocrisy on mail-in ballots.
He believes it's a mail-in scam.
It's mail-in cheating, he says, to vote by mail.
And, lo and behold, guess who voted by mail?
Is he a president?
Tell me about mail-in ballots going.
You may not use the mail-in ballot,
you probably said, yeah, he did.
You know what?
Because I'm president of the United States,
and because of the fact that I'm president of the United States,
I did a mail-in ballot for elections that took place in Florida,
because I felt I should be here,
instead of being in the beautiful sunshine, taking...
You were in Palm Beach, sir, the last weekend.
That's right, and I, yeah.
And I decided that I was going to vote by mail-in ballot
because I couldn't be there,
because I had a lot of different things.
But, you know, we have exceptions for mail-in ballots.
You do know that, right?
So, if you're away, we have an exception.
If you're in the military, we have an exception.
If you're in a business trip, we have an exception.
If you're disabled, we have an exception.
And if you're ill, if you're not feeling good...
So, I was away, mostly in Washington, D.C.,
so I used the mail-in ballot,
but I appreciate the question,
because I know it was so well-meaning.
Yeah, I was right.
Bullshit.
I was going to...
I was saying again, why are we getting this load
of bullshit propaganda with no fact-checking?
He's like, oh, well, I was away, or I couldn't be there,
or I had an exception.
That is why people vote by mail.
That's the reason that there is a vote by mail, pretty much,
is to make it convenient for people to be able to vote.
What he's saying is the voting by mail rule
is for thee, but not for me.
And so now you know it's a scam,
but again, why are we listening to this live?
That could have been done in a report
that was curated to show the hypocrisy
so that people are not misinformed,
because there were people who may see that and believe,
like, yeah, he's a president, there's an exception.
What he's saying is not making any sense.
So what I would say to the networks
and to the American people,
we need to stop living in this lunacy.
And the news organizations are not helping out
by running these unrestricted lies
that come across our televisions every single day
or our feeds of just him spouting on and on and on
about bullshit.
This is no different than running a Trump rally,
propaganda rally.
This is a propaganda campaign
and an election campaign for the midterms, for Donald Trump.
Stop doing it.
Do something that you can inform your viewers with.
Be productive and be smart,
because people need to be educated.
The electorate needs to be educated,
especially with this upcoming election in November.
It is important.
