It's written and illustrated by Pedro Martin, and he's going to be at the Grand Island Public Library on Saturday, September 12th, from 1-2, 3pm. This event is free, and it's for everyone. Martin's going to show you how to make your own graphic memoirs, like mini magazines, which they call Zines. Meanwhile, over at the Minonite Heritage Park, they're hosting author and illustrator Wes Hardin on Saturday, September 12th, from 10am to noon. He'll be talking about his book, The Minonite Cookbook, and sharing stories about the park and its history. You can check out the cookbook, which is about 5 feet tall, and sits on a display of over 25 feet of Minonite history. And get this, the Nebraska Patriots 15 baseball team is heading to a tournament in Puerto Rico. To help them get there, there's a soup supper happening Sunday evening
