You got a sec? I'm Daniel Henderson Jr. First of all, congratulations on making the 70. Yes, sir. Appreciate it, man. Thank you. What did they tell you about why you're part of this team? You know, what I can bring to the table, you know, not only just my Y Receive Ability, but my spells team Ability also. You know, I can go out there, play Gunner, Returner, so you know, I can just do a little bit of everything. All right. If somebody that knew you well was to give me one word to describe your personality, what would it be? Very chill. I'm a very chill guy. I probably say, I don't say too much, you know, I get a sighted and stuff on the field, but still I'm just chilling most of the time. Man, I think you were clocked at over 22 miles an hour in preseason and obviously speed's been part of your game. Do you remember when you first realized you were fast? I probably say Kansas, you know, I was the only one who hit 23 miles per hour. So once I did that, you know, I knew I was fast then for sure. So, you know, the part of being on the 70 and standing out is special teams.
And finding a way to stand out there, I think you came in as not only a receiver, but a Gunner. With the things that you kind of like worked on in college in that regard, and there are things that you've learned in training camp here in that regard. I'm a definitely, you know, reading a defense and, you know, understanding the techniques, you know, I feel like if you're a smarter player, you know, you can play better. You know, just so being smart, you know, watching how the corner is going to play you in things like that, it really helps out a lot. That third preseason game, man, it was such a great game for you. And have Jalen Milro, you know, have come out there a week after that, you know, he had a couple turnovers and people were really kind of, like he was frustrated with the way he played, I think. How did it feel in that, in that, how do you feel for you? I felt amazing, you know, you know, games like that, you just got to continue to work on the next play, you know, keep going, you know. Just put that next play behind you and, you know, he came out the third preseason game, you know, and show everybody what you can do for sure. Could you feel it in the huddle, like, and the fact that he trusted you to be the, on the receiving end, a lot of those passes, that chemistry starting to build?
I'm a definitely, you know, I've been with Jalen previously at Alabama, you know, he was my quarterback, so, you know, getting passed from a game, it was amazing for sure. I think you're looking forward to and walking into Lumenfield this first week, first game. We're ready to hear how the 12s be for sure. I appreciate your manhand. Yes, sir, thank you. Cheers to you.
