Look for His Blessing

Late yesterday afternoon, when I wheeled into our boardroom at the Johnny and Friends International Disability Center, I was feeling so weary from the long day's work. I really needed refreshment for my heart. Immediately, I looked through the glass wall and saw the Luke 14 mural down in our lobby that depicts the grand banquet Jesus talked about. I was struck by the brightness of Jesus' figure in that painting. And right then, I sensed him whisper, Come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Oh, friend, your everyday life is filled with evidences of God's presence. Everywhere and at any time, he longs to speak refreshment to you, even on a lobby wall. Or you could sense his voice while you're driving, or walking, or preparing dinner. Just keep your heart open and look for his blessing.
