Lv: Pavasara saule spīdēja spoži pār Rīgas brīvības pieminekli.
En: The spring sun shone brightly over the Rīgas Freedom Monument.
Lv: Pieminekļa pakājē, starp zaļojošajiem kokiem un krāšņi ziedošajām puķēm, stāvēja grupa skolēnu.
En: At the base of the monument, amidst the greening trees and magnificently blooming flowers, stood a group of students.
Lv: Tās bija pavasara brīvdienas un Lieldienu priekšvakars.
En: It was the spring holidays and the eve of Easter.
Lv: Skolotāji bija noorganizējuši ekskursiju pa Rīgas centram.
En: The teachers had organized a tour through the center of Rīgas.
Lv: Kristers, Valdis un Inese bija starp viņiem.

En: Inese agreed, "It's important to you, Krister.
Lv: Es būšu ar tevi.

Lv: "Viņi devās pie pieminekļa, kur salīdzinājumā ar putojošajiem vainagiem tur sapulcējās vairāk cilvēki.
En: They headed towards the monument, where compared to the swarming wreaths, more people gathered.

En: Just at that moment, the guide reappeared.
