So, check it, a dude named Thomas Goodwin, 54 years old, when missing back on September 5th. Last scene in Yellm, Washington, around 8 or 9 pm. The word was, he was on foot, no car, and they figured he might be in some trouble. Fast forward to Friday, September 11th, the Yellm Police Department got a call, and they found Goodwin out on George Road. Turns out, a random rider on a motorcycle heard him yelling for help and dialed 911. When the emergency crews rolled up, Goodwin was still rocking that Civil War reenactment uniform. He got checked out and then taken to St. Peter Hospital over in Olympia. It's wild to think about being out there, lost, and that kind of gear. You gotta wonder what the whole story was, how he ended up in that situation. Glad he was found safe though, that's the main thing. Being out there, especially if you're disoriented, can get serious real quick. I'm Corey, with the story, and you've been listening to Portland News today, AI Power at Local News.
