Do you want to build your faith?
Do you desire to have a true encounter with God through His Word?
Then listen to Logos Rima Ay with Reverend Dr. Joseph Bowel being head pastor of Havish
Chaplin's a National Commase. He is a seasoned man of God and a teacher of the
Word and his truth and simplicity. Make time with us each and every Monday to
Friday at 2 p.m. on Spirit 88.3 FM as we encounter the Word of truth. God
which they bless you and now today's message. We are talking about positioning
ourselves for dominion. Stick up Confession, Joshua 1 verse 8. The book of the
Lord shall not depart out of my mouth. But I shall meditate in it day and night
that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. But then I will
make my way prosperous and then I will have good success. Amen. God never
sins. God is never at fault. God is never limited. He said is what? His arm is
not short that he cannot save. But why are sins? Are equities? Are profanities? Are
not plain according to the rules? No meeting is divine conditions. That is why
we are not seeing the power in our lives. There is a price. Hallelujah. Amen. And how
many believers have put their souls down all because it's not working. They
have not said so in so much ways but they attitude the whole body language to
the things of God says it. Are equities? It's not working. It's not worth it. I know
what they do. They blame God. Sometimes they blame their church. As for the
pastor you are the first to be blamed. So now you dare. Hallelujah. And then like
I said, they quit God first and then you quit church. One comes naturally after
the other. You quit God first. You quit church. Amen. And when we say quit God
you understand the conditionalities, the righteous and holy living. That we
draw the presence of God. The accompaniment of God in life's buttons. The
denial of proofs in your life. If they are not there you will quit. How long can
you hold on and go to battle on your own. So you go with blunt swords with
profanity, with tonality, with assertive power, with the tongues of man, not the
tongues of angels, the tongues of man, the tongues we speak. I post is the angelic
language, but some of us are tongues. It's man's language. It's manufactured by man. To
me be in him. God does it. We understand your tongues. Because you manufactured
it yourself. The tongues that like Paul say sound in symbols. It is supposed to
be the tongues of angels by the Holy Spirit. Oh my God. He said they don't know
when they come before God. They don't know what to say and how to pray. But the
Holy Spirit of God through signs and gronies. Ma'am lemma say it. Ma'am lemma
go take a partner. Ma'am lemma sookethendi. It springs up and then he gives
electrons to us. So he can intercede for us according to the will of God. He says
the Spirit that cries. Amma! Amma! Amma! When these things happen to me, where
should you find yourself? Chech shopping. You think that it's the Chech. So you
find yourself. Chech shopping. Pastor shopping. Pastor doesn't like me. Where's
the case scenario? Pastor pointing out to you. The pastor doesn't like me. That's
what this preaching. The pastor is talking about me. Oni ma'am. I went for
counseling and what the Aboriginal part of it in Mulo.
Professional shopping.
Frustration after frustration. And as I said last time before long, when we see
Wikaboo, the glory is gone. But as we have learned from the verse, the image of
God then goes, let us make man in our image according to our likeness. And then
let them have dominion. So it's like Xiaomi twins isn't they are
conjoint together. To exercise dominion, the first two must be there. Recognizing
that we are God made and not self-made, eliciting humility before God. Amen. And that
we are supposed to be image-bearers of God. Amma's willingly bear that image. It
comes at the price. But he created us to be so. It is not an impossibility. They ask
what this 21st century, you can't be holy. Moody a me, a holy, holy dodo. No, you
can't. If you want to exercise dominion, you can't. That's why the Holy Spirit is
deposited within us and instructed to come alongside us to help us. So they are
to see our mixture in their conjoint. Hallelujah. Exercise and dominion. To bear in
the image of God. So that our God giving us assignment can be executed and then we
can enter into our reward or inheritance and they are tied together. As we
execute the assignment, then we get rewarded. Then we exercise dominion. Hallelujah. And
it must be in our cycle. Continua bearing of the image and the likeness of God. Amen.
Continua guarantees continuous victory. And I've said it. It's a lifelong adventure with
God or assignment in the King's kingdom. It's not just you do it. Hallelujah. So those
of us stop, stop, stop, stop. Believe I in check. Believe I'm believe I in the
home. Believe I in check. Unbelievable. The workplace. Stop, stop, stop.
Now, frustrating yourself. Hallelujah. As we think God starts, speak God's words and
take God out. Now let's go on. Let's and let them have dominion over the fish of the
sea. Where are we exercising the dominion over the fish of the sea, over the foul of the
air, over the cattle, over the all the earth and where we creep in thing that keep. And it's
interesting when we go over the list. Right now, what is listed and what is not listed there?
Fish of the sea, isn't it? Files of the air, the cattle, the earth, all creeping things. I thought
I would see in your wife and man, Hallelujah. Amen. So the limits or confines of our doom,
do mean you are clearly delineated yet, clearly. I don't see Adam or Eve being listed there.
Hallelujah. It's a match in in your empire. So your wife, your husband, your children
or offspring don't get to make the list. So if God you know and trust it, you don't go there.
So you see how it can be very difficult when you want to dominate your wife.
And all the wife wants to dominate them as my all of us.
And that's what has led to him. Man, Fawasem and Mamesu,
Rachel said, hey, Mr. Maneer, because you are not supposed to be dominating them.
We are men and women, creative reason, very intelligent, we persuade men.
Authority and power of the Scriptures. If you are born again, you have the spirit,
you will be persuaded to do the right thing. But most of us, we don't know the Holy Spirit.
We don't recognize Him and we don't we don't revere Him. We don't see Him.
That's the challenge. That's why we go, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, man, we too, we too, bejabasa.
Okay, 27, now we can go to so we've seen that list.
Your wife is not there, your brother is not there, sister is not there.
But as 27, so God created man in his own image, 26 was the intention, 27,
the execution of the project, Amen. So God did exactly what they had talked about.
In his own image. So God didn't limit it. He executed to procession. Hallelujah.
According to designer, according to plan, was in 10 entire project, Amen. So there's 27
is telling us about the execution of that plan or the desire of God. Both male and female
species here mentioned. Hallelujah. And I like that male and female. He created them. So
men are more are no more like God than women are. Hello. Men are not more like God than women are.
Amen. Hallelujah. Both were designed according to the specified plan to commonly share and bear the
image and likeness of God. That's why the Bible will tell us later we elaborate and comment on
this and say that in Christ, there's no male, no female neither Jew nor what. Gentile. Hallelujah.
Neither are can nor gamma. Hallelujah. Neither student nor wake up.
Hey, the precepts of God cuts across. And so none of us should be defied.
It was God who created both of us. And we all owe our existence to God. And in the sense we are
equally accountable to God. Hallelujah. Verse 28. Yes. So and God blessed them and God set to them.
I'm sure God was whispering that we'll stay here, especially in line with our one-word resolution
of increasing of seen increase. I don't know what you'll be teaching us, but he said we will stay
here. I will teach you some truths from here. And then you all as a check and other people can
apply and practice those principles and see where we can get to by the end of the year. Hallelujah. Amen.
Now, so the first phrase and God blessed them. Ten to someone and say and God blessed them.
Hallelujah. Amen. I'm trying to imagine the whole thing.
Because if you look at 26 and 27, you would have thought that from 27 that after 2060 talks about
the intention 27 talks about the execution of the project. He does it. And you would have thought
that that is sufficient. Amen. But then we come to 28 and if like God organizes a ceremony
for Adam and Eve and does something. Hallelujah. God summons them before him to do something extra,
something defining. And I believe very, very needful. That is why God did it. Amen. He said let us
claim that you have created a man. So why don't leave the man? No. So not rather God summons the man
and and and the woman. Hallelujah. Before him. And most of the things that I'm saying, yeah,
they are not in the Bible. So don't take me on. But I believe that I want to believe that Adam and Eve
came kneeling before God. Hallelujah. Have you ever felt that the presence of God?
As a pastor, I've seen it. There are sometimes you want to pray for some people immediately. They come.
You just sense the outgoing of divine favor on the people. And most of them,
when God asked, command them, you find that people just kneeling down before you.
And then you just know that God has called them to be recipients of the blessing. So it was like a
commissioning ceremony. And I'm saying Adam and Eve's were, don't take me on on this. I said,
we're perhaps kneeling before God in humble submission to their creator and benefactor.
It was as if to say that we are here to do your will. We are prepared to do your will. We are
willing to do your will. So the blessing is, if you like, an activation, ignite ignition and
releasing all the potential resources that were embedded in them. That is why as a believer,
you must desire to be blessed. Oh my God. That is why you not take your prayer life and your
devotional life just anyhow. Because when we come every morning to God, like I said before,
we step out. It's like God. It's another day to go about your divine assignment and your task
for my life. I can't step out there on my own. I can't make headway without your blessing.
Tia ba tia ba tia ba tia ba tia ba oh oh.
Because even though we know they were created and equipped with the potential needed to function
according to design, they needed their designer to activate and deploy them.
If you like, it's like an orientation exercise and permission from God
to function in God's world. You see, I don't know, but we must love God. That's why it's the
first command made. Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy hearts, with all thy soul,
with all thy strength. If you and I made it a habit of resorting to God every day.
Papa Shramy. Papa Shramy. We will be able to fulfill their assignment.
We'll be able to enter our inheritance. We'll be able to do God's will for our lives.
I believe also that Adam and Eve must have recognized, oh my God, themselves as aliens.
You see, picture the whole thing. Adam and Eve, they must have recognized themselves as aliens
in a strange world. I believe they must have felt overwhelmed if not for anything at all by the
awesome and very spectacular. If you like a chanting environment, they were reasonable people.
Now, have you seen the creation picture? If you look at chapter two and Moses elaborates,
God takes them round. I've always said that God gave them a talk, a guy that taught Hallelujah.
Oh Jesus. And they saw the mountain peaks.
They saw the river that are parted into four. Those names, they are there, Hallelujah.
Now the Bible says, what is the garden of Eden? So they must have seen the rivers, isn't it?
The tides. That's awesome. And if you ask me like I said,
before, when they look at all that God was asking them to do, it could have been overwhelming.
Just like us, we get one again, he gets saved and gives us and sometimes it's overwhelming.
We can't do it on your path. That's a pasta every day. Oh Jesus.
Somebody recently asked me, how, how pasta, how is it? You know, how are you enjoying
pastry? And I said, I never knew it was so challenging, even though I've passed it for many years.
The challenge, you can't do it. It's overwhelming.
No doubt Moses complained to God, say, God, you've given me this assignment. It's overwhelming.
I can't go. And then he said, my presence, go with you. My presence will go with you.
You want to sing in the choir? His presence. Let's go. You want to be playing his presence? Let's go
with you. You want to do any service for the Lord? His presence must go with you. Adam and Eve
were about to execute an assignment for God. As I said, he are taking them on it probably,
because it's not in the, in the me choose my words well, probably taking them on a guided
tour through the garden of Eden. And it's a keep it and dress it. You can't do it. It's overwhelming.
So maybe I'm saying maybe it was after the guided tour of the entire garden to see everything
including the rivers. They put a pattern to fortitude. I'm sure that when they go to the rivers,
they saw peraps once again conjecture. They saw the fishes.
Because the blessings was going to come. They needed to know what fishes.
So God took them, that's the conjecture. Because he was saying that exercise to mean,
we saw the list of other things, Adam and Eve, who tend to even say fish.
They needed to have known what fishes. Hallelujah. That's why I'm conjecturing probably after
the guided tour when they had seen everything. And as I'm saying, they were probably overwhelmed.
Recognized that they need resources. They needed energy. They needed knowledge. They need
information to take care of their state. Are you saying that's why there's a lot of work for us to
do. That's why the Bible says when we are called, we can't afford to be entangled with other
things. They're all calling, you know, it demands focus. Lot of focus.
And they were wondering how they could execute it. And so now God said, come Adam and Eve,
and the same thing is depicted in the New Testament in Acts chapter one. Jesus said,
don't step out there. I have an excitement for you, but I have something extra for you.
Ye shall not be endured with power from on high. Not many days, eggs and thin.
Ye shall go. So God brought them for the blessing. Hallelujah. In Joshua 934 verse 9, we see the same
that the Bible said before Joshua's assignment, the Bible says at the instance of God that
Moses laid his hands on Joshua and blessing. We are talking about the blessing of the Lord. That's
the phrase in God so that we can desire for God's blessing so that we will look at the quiet time
and our devotional life because before we step out every morning, beloved, you need the blessing
of the Lord, the good will of the Lord, the good intentions of the Lord.
Blessing signifies the enabling power of the Lord to undertake your life assignment.
It implies an activation of something innate power that is deposited within us.
You had your best story. Oh, God, that you bless me indeed.
And light my tents and coastlines. Rehear the one in that watch your hand.
That's why I say, I believe that Adam and Eve, I don't know, but I want to conjecture that God
laid his hands on them. He had it and the hand of the Lord was upon Elijah and he outrun the chariots
of King Hewab, the hand of the Lord, the blessing of the Lord. As a believer on a divine assignment
and due to the power from on high, it signifies also the patillary of God with humanity to undertake
an assignment on behalf of God. And he says in his blessings, it makes reach and he asks no
sorrow to it. Oh, Jesus, I must go sacred in the near. The blessing is needed to activate the
stored or stockpiled, but drummond innate resources and potentiars that are resident in the sons
and daughters of God. Do you understand? He said he took Peter said in what his divine power has
given us all things that pertains to life and godliness. The residents of the Holy Spirit,
he brings every divine resource that will make us as successful believers.
As I said, did he lay hands on them? I don't know. I just said maybe he did. And don't you like it?
There's nothing so sweet in church like the hands of a true servant of God being laid on you.
At God's will, I'll tell you something. Hallelujah. Oh, Jesus, my rainbow satire. If your hands have
been a true servant of God has laid this on. There's something when they are laying when
at God's command and they are laying their hands on you. Oh, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, there's a
setting peace that just soups. There's a setting sweetness. There's a setting calmness that just
comes over you. It's as if bad ends get lifted. The anxiety is free. Can you imagine Adam and Eve?
He says dress it, keep it. This vast estate and they are strangers. They were strangers.
They are never seen in before. Just like us. Anytime I go to the seaside, I am amazed. I am
struck when the waves come crashing. I always I'm scared. I don't enjoy flying in place. I must confess.
Hallelujah. When I see that they all don't say something until we land and then I can brief a
sigh of relief and say, my that was something about the size that you see. It's awesome. It's
breathtaking. And Adam and Eve, you and I are supposed to manage it and you don't want to cause
blessing. In my name, you shall bind demons and you want to go out there in your own strength.
You don't want Papa to lay hands on you and to bless you and to accompany you. If you decide
it, you pay the price. You change your life. You are lying in your life in line with the
weight of God because you know that I can't do anything without God. And I need it. It's a
humbling experience to be blessed by God. And like I said, you want to go down on your knees. It's
not for nothing. When you see people, you just you just want to go down on your knees. But not
about the knee, bend it. It's the heart. It must bend, have bended hearts, not just bend the knees.
And the calm sweetness of God then just envelops you, lifts the bed in spheres, the anxieties
of your heart and then brings comfort and rest to your soul. And that blessing releases the divine
potential. Oh my second day. And what do you go see? And he said, be fruitful. Amen.
