Welcome back to Numbers of the Board.
Numbers of the Board, yes!
Mike, it is friae.
It is friae.
And friae is where we answer your questions.
It's a lot going on in the NBA.
A lot going on with college basketball.
We're going to get to some of that later in the episode.
But we wanted to have the bulk of the episode
be an answer in your questions.
I feel like that's one of my favorite things.
It's the same.
You never know what type of question you're going to get.
So D-Mill is going to hold it down to ask a ton of questions today.
But before we get to that, we film today.
Feeling good, man.
Feeling good.
More college basketball.
So I'm holding on.
So I'm holding on.
Oh, yeah.
I got to show love to my boy.
I got to show love to this.
This is one of my...
He's doing his thing, which all right now.
But I don't...
I'm always love the Maverick one.
You know what I'm saying?
Rightfully so.
Rightfully so.
Because you know, like your fans, you think...
I think in many universities, he still is a Maverick.
It's just that one person that I love and truly adore.
But you know what, I put this on, right?
It's a smart decision.
You know what I put this on.
Wow.
Last night, he gave me some Maverick vibes.
100%.
Yeah.
Look like a step back with strong and look real Maverick.
2014.
Look at that.
Yeah.
So I was like, you know what?
I got to pull this out.
I ain't pull this out.
The car is brand new.
Shout out to you.
I just saw a lot of people posting what they got from that sale.
My boy, Hilly, he posted, bro.
He had to pay $4 per jersey.
Some of them's jersey was not throwbacks, but like, it's like a Brooklyn that's Kevin
Durant.
I guess a, um, a kale bridges song.
It's just like, players.
It's like two teams away from, I don't know, but it's $4, though.
Yeah, it's $4.
For a deal, it's, or for $4, it's such a good deal.
I've seen some ones that was like, crazy, that was like, I forgot about this player.
But, um, I got the KD, I ain't gonna spoil it.
Because I had, I got another one I'm aware that's gonna really make y'all, that's gonna
tickle y'all a little bit.
Um, yeah, I picked up a few.
I got the, um, the, the Chris Paul songs went, obviously.
And I got the, the Rosa Parks throwback one.
Mm-hmm.
They was throwing, they had them Rosa Park throwbacks, er, just so I had to go pick up one.
One of the goats.
One of the true goats.
For sure.
We got dropped them out.
We do.
I want to add, shout out.
What are some players that you loved or liked that had the career cut short?
And we know Derek Rose is probably the number one answer.
We're not gonna say him unless you really want to.
Mm-hmm.
Where do we start?
Can I, can I shift the question just a little bit and not to change your, um, our, our
good old friend, Joaquin Noah, didn't have a short career.
His prime was very short, you know, because of the injury and stuff.
He still played, until the bubble, like he was in the bubble, um, with the Grizzlies.
With the Grizzlies, he had a little stint with the Clippers, so, you know, he, he had been
around a little bit longer, but like, he had a three year windows, like, oh snap, one
at the top.
Let's say five centers in the NBA, um, Derek Rose, obviously, like you said, is number
one on the list.
I'm an easily just throughout Brandon Ruhrer.
Brandon Ruhrer.
I got another one that's going to probably piss a fan base or two off, but I like this
guy.
And I, you know, and on the back of March Madness, um, because I remember waking up in
the morning, watching his team play, Chandler Parsons, I, I was a fan of Chandler Parsons
in his game.
Six, ten with a ratchet.
Again, I know certain fan bases aren't the biggest fans of Chandler Parsons, um, because
he wasn't able to play, uh, after getting some luxurious contracts, but I, hey, I think
he would have loved to play.
I don't think anybody hurting himself.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't think people understand how good he was when he was on the floor.
And maybe that's probably the reason why they mad because he got paid and they didn't
really get that production.
Oh, that's exactly what he meant.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I knew that Florida he was really good with Houston, especially when James Hardin had first
guy there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like Chico second round pick.
That small contract.
The how that production with 10, three and a half.
I think he hit at one point.
The game went on Elacres.
I mean, am I talking about off that an pound play.
He had some, he was supposed to be that missed a piece for that GRIT and grind team.
Like that bridge because they had Conley Allen and then the front court and he was gonna
be that, that, that third guy.
I remember when he signed his contract with Dallas,
he was clubbing with Mark Cuban.
Like, Jaila Parker is kind of like some enjoy basketball stuff.
Going to the club with your balls.
So, what we do right now, it's a good pick.
Another end of prime guy, is it 2016, 2017, 2017, 2018?
Isaiah Thomas, man.
And then I'm seeing as a hip thing and he gets traded
and the career just goes south since then.
Obviously, I guess he kind of played in the league last year.
So, it's another one of short prime things.
But to see a guy of his size, do the things to end up top 5
and MVP, all NBA player, I wouldn't say out of nowhere
because he was always pretty good.
But to take that level of a jump in one season,
it was kind of nuts.
And one of my favorite individual seasons of all time.
I know we are just talking about another small guard too.
I feel like we always bring Tyler Austin name up.
But I remember specifically, all that stuff
kind of went down with Tyler Austin,
once the nuggets drafted in Manuel Moody.
Like, everything was perfect.
And it's just like, y'all drafted a point guard at my side.
It wasn't even that big of a deal.
It wasn't because I mean, if he would have just kind of stuck to it,
I don't know where Manuel Moody had kind of what it'd been.
You know what I'm saying?
Manuel Moody was a point guard,
but he had a position of size to be in a back court with him.
He was still a ways way of being ready to take the reins.
So, yeah, I don't, now when quarterbacks go through that,
it's a little bit more understanding.
Cause quarterbacks can never play together.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
NFL is different.
But I would never get that unless you are the man.
Like, Buggie was on the Kings and they needed help
and air draft and Willie College style.
It was your papayana.
Yeah, with lottery picks.
Now that I get, because it's like, bro,
I'm all NBA one of the best in my position.
And we suck.
And y'all are wasting picks right now.
But Tyler Austin, he could have been,
but no, he was dope.
He was leading the league in his son.
And then he just super fast.
It just happened.
Y'all remember when he played for the Rocks?
Yeah, then he had to stand with the Rocks.
I know he was the winner.
I just seen him in a one-on-one.
He still got it.
I believe in you.
Yeah, I believe in me.
But him and Ken Feree went down, he'll very fast.
Ken Feree had the...
I think he lost that one on one of them.
But I'm just saying from it, bro.
Ken Feree had that, the team USA thing.
He was like, oh, he got the pop up.
This was right after Dehran Rose went to the team USA.
They won MVP.
It's like, oh, yeah, this is the pipeline.
And then he just didn't, because he didn't have a skill.
And I think that's the NBA start to evolve
a little bit around that.
Yeah, it's sad, isn't it?
He was playing on Fencing.
Moaning.
He was such a weird, well, weird tweener,
but he played hard.
Yeah, he gave you everything.
I think that's like the epitome of how basketball used to be
is that he was a 6'7.
It's not like he was an undersized center.
He was playing power forwards.
He was also probably playing with a center like Javier McGee,
Coach Coofer, and those dudes were in space in the play
at all, so.
Y'all think they're both beloved and Denver?
They can't have a really...
Yeah, let's say that they do a night, and they both there.
Y'all think the fans give him like a stand-in relationship.
Not anymore.
I think at one time there was, but then when we talk about the MPJ,
Jamal Murray, Yoke, his championship,
they kind of got over that real quick.
If you do watch South Park, though, you can probably see them
on one of the episodes, because I always bring the Nuck and C's.
I feel like Galenari probably would.
Wow, I don't even think that anymore.
Because Galenari, I don't know, he was really good with them.
I mean, I'm not saying that they were blue.
He was really good, but he was also hurt a lot with them too.
I'm not saying that they were blue,
but I think that whole error that we grew up loving
with the Igualdala and that was on there.
I think I just don't think it'd hold that much weight
because they had a new team that did the unthinkable
with an all-time player.
Yeah, yeah.
So I mean, yeah, the crowd would be like,
hey, yeah, but they ain't for no reason.
They might get somebody to hold here, so clap it up for them.
They'd be able to talk about Melo.
Well, you got his number snatch.
They did that on purpose.
They did a thing with, this is years ago at this point though,
Burma and Chris Anderson got an ovation.
And I was like, yeah, that makes sense.
This is what I was thinking about some of these other guys
that were in the similar era.
Since they played together, they was in the same front court.
I mean, years didn't they pay in Denver, playing Denver.
Probably seven.
Wasn't that long?
I don't know.
That's what I was doing last time.
I would think six of seven.
I typed in the name, thinking that that's all I needed
to type in, a picture of a bird popped up on Google.
Then he got to the end of the show, I guess.
I would say six.
Okay.
Right.
So in the same round.
10.
10?
10 years.
10 seasons in Denver.
Oh, wow.
So yeah, he would probably definitely do.
Yeah.
How long was his NBA career?
Because he played another three and four with 17-year career.
17-year career, man.
17-year career career.
17-year career career.
Average of 11, six and two.
From where, Derek?
Brazil.
My boy.
He'll be a Ross Mobile Center in today.
He would.
Him, Barbosa, Caboclo.
I mean, we got a lot of...
In 19 to be exact, 19 Brazilian-born players.
Thiago Splitter.
I did not know from the other Splitter was from Brazil.
You said Fernando?
Fernando.
Fat mellow, technically.
Rest in peace, the Fat mellow, Sarah Q is fine.
It's Valetio.
Valetio, yeah.
Start to the boys in the name.
Quickly, the one active player from Brazil?
That's as much to think.
My boy got it right here.
Isn't it Eric Gordon?
No.
That's my grandma.
Who is it?
Santos.
Oh, I didn't know that.
Yep.
That's a Santos, man.
That's a G-Santos.
Everyone come back, we got more numbers on the board.
Ridiculous day of basketball, as y'all know.
Courts, March, Madness, started off.
Few great games in that.
But in the NBA, we also had some really great games.
Which also goes to the point that we talked about yesterday of like the people screenshot
in that one game and being like, oh, the NBA don't deserve a spanish.
And then the very next day, we got three games that came down to the last three seconds.
So it's like, it's just with, it's a give-and-take thing.
A few things I want to point out.
Look at Dante just had a 60-point game.
And the game that I feel like the Lakers had all the excuses in the world to potentially
lose.
Three games of four nights, as we mentioned, they landed in Miami at five a.m. and then
they had the game, what 12 hours later.
The era was adamant that LeBron wasn't going to play.
Yeah.
Yeah.
60 points.
Seven rebounds.
Three assists.
Five steals including like another crazy barrage at the last couple minutes to close out
the game.
And this one, of course, Bronn also was doing his thing.
He had a triple double with only a few missed shots.
So shout out to the Lakers.
They could tell you the win.
That's the first thing I want to point out.
Second thing I want to point out.
The public is keeping winning basketball games, y'all.
And it's like, it's reinforcing Joe Dumar's crazy idea to start the season.
And I just have a sneaky suspicion that all of the guys from this roster will be back
next season.
And they're going to be like, hey, the last 30 games, we was 500.
So imagine when Derek Queen gets a little bit better over the off season.
Well, Jeremy Fears get better over the off season.
And they're just going to run it back and maybe it worked.
It's a world we're doing.
I got that in the end.
Yeah.
I had to film when they didn't have a fire sale.
Yeah.
Derek was definitely driving that bus home of sand to not have any of these guys on the
block.
They even gauge interest with a little odd 14 that was not having a certain level of success.
So I definitely believe that they'll probably run it back as well.
And I mean, why shouldn't they, what else do they have to do?
I mean, some of these guys, like I think her, Jones can get you some value, but it's
not the value that they're going to want.
I don't know.
I don't think he couldn't, especially off the season that he's having currently.
But why would they just want to trade him?
They just brought him back.
I don't know.
I don't know what Zion market is.
I'm just happy to see him playing games.
But yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the team.
The question is though, you said it working.
That's the part where I don't know because the Western conference is so deep.
Yeah.
And see they're going to be really good or it's going to be really bad.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
It would be good or going to be really bad because also you never know.
elements happen.
I mean, they're going could have, I mean I know they hold that working while now.
Okay, but to say.
A little bit.
I definitely struggling.
A last thing before we get to Ask KB or maybe some college depend.
Ask could be fanned Friday.
Look at me.
I'm combining.
So Rob Dylan tell him Last five games y'all are you ready for these staff lines?
You can you are convincing yourself.
You don't want that.
12.5 rebounds, seven to six.
12.5 rebounds, oh no.
He'd be hitting that glass.
Hi boys.
Because sometimes it's the only thing he can really
do to affect the game.
12.4.4.
15.4.3.
15.4.2.
Last night, 17.4.1 without playing in the fourth quarter.
He got his joy back y'all.
Don't look at this field go percentage, it ain't great.
Don't look at the foulspar game, it ain't great.
Don't look at this, it's a turn of ratio, it ain't great.
The ball is going to the basket.
I'm so happy for you.
Because I think that the bulls have been in that spot.
I'm happy for him, man.
Do you see how he's going to come here next week?
He's going to come here next week.
And I'm going to see a clip from Small Ball of him saying,
he's not NBA player.
But at least he's going to say the same thing.
He's talking about the bulls and saying, man,
we got to get rid of vooch.
We got to get rid of these.
Like, he's finally moving on to the conversations.
He's been moved off.
This is the first year he could really do that.
I'm just happy that he does like an NBA player for five games.
I'm happy for you.
Let's hope the next five that continues to be the way.
It was a quote yesterday that I really loved.
They actually put a smile on my face.
Oh, wow.
I was like, this made me happy.
It's from Austin Reeves.
He said, I remember there was a time out early.
JJ came over and said, I know y'all are tired.
And Lebron's the one in the bottom.
I was like, I'm not tired.
So I was like, I'm not tired either.
So yeah, you got to follow the leader.
And I was like, that's crazy that the 41-year-old man, three games and four nights on a back-to-back
plane came in at five a.m.
Looked around and said, I'm good, bro.
I'm not tired.
I didn't play like it.
Yeah.
And that's great.
And I understand why Luca was on the bench.
And you saw, there was a clip of Luca on the bench, then I'm so tired.
He has 60.
So of course, he's going to be tired.
But the fact that Lebron's still able to do this at 41.
Lebron's is tired.
He has 60.
Yeah.
That's right.
They said in the game against Houston, he ran three-picking roles, or no, the game against
Chicago last week was he ran three-picking roles was the lowest of his career.
And in my video about the Lakers, I just went through like his usage rate on a game by
game basis.
That last game versus Houston was the lowest usage rate game of his entire career.
That's insane.
Just by against being the third option.
And it's amazing because again, he could still put up steps like he did last night, which
is he just don't see that from many third options.
I mean, he's literally would be the number one option, the number two option on a lot of
team.
Well, one thing he's always going to have, mentally, he's going to always be ahead of everyone
else on the court.
For sure.
So no matter what's going on, mentally, he's going to still be better than everybody else.
Super computers, man.
And I think this is what everybody has kind of been asking for.
People have been asking this for the last four or five years, it feels like this.
I don't think Anthony Davis was the guy.
I don't think Lebron was ready.
No.
I don't think Lebron was ready.
I think if y'all would have had Luke of four years ago, Lebron's probably still with
the body and at least I love it.
Yeah.
I think y'all both were right, though.
I don't think Anthony Davis is ready to take that torch, but also Lebron was still so
good that pass and torts didn't even make sense four years ago.
It did.
He was all NBA first team four years ago, match and pass and the torts when you still
the top five player in the world, you know, especially you and I pass and torch to anybody.
I mean, Luke was also all NBA first thing to do.
So it had just been a battle, I guess.
But no, you don't pass the torch.
You don't pass the torch just to pass the torch.
You pass it when you're supposed to.
So it's at his point.
If I'm still all NBA, why am I passing the torch?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, what was that?
It was literally last year.
You got trade in.
Because if you had to pass the torch to Kyrie, Kyrie was dope and raw and all that.
But you have to last year when you got sure he was like, you think Lebron's still not,
that's Lebron out the best player on the team or whatever.
And everybody kind of hesitated like Lebron probably still think he is the number one alpha
dog on the team.
You know, and it's again, it's you seeing right because you were up here telling me
that Lebron think that Lucas, the best player in that last year.
And I'm like, there's no way Lebron thinks that.
Yeah.
Like there's no way.
He probably thinks it now.
Yeah.
I think that helps.
Yeah.
I think even to the point again, like, you know, with Austin Reeves, he understands
that like he wants to give him the ball and let him rock out.
That's what to me, Axis always speak louder than words.
The actions of this year aligned with that more than last year.
We wasn't seeing this last year, last year problems.
Let me get that about.
I know he, Brian probably happy.
Look at me having the best defend on him all the time.
They used to be Brian.
Yeah, he just put it off the ball and weren't the best.
I think the number one thing that fixes everything is kind of like money.
It's winning.
Mm-hmm.
You see a lot of times I've, we've been places.
You be like, man, how did I do?
We got that girl.
How Lebron your third up?
Cause we winning.
Simple and playing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If y'all going to fight in a little bit of the street, he gon' be in that league.
Move out the way, Austin.
I'm back.
Derek, you say something that made me look this up.
How many times has two teammates made all NBA first teams together?
Oh, key out name on my guess.
Kevin and Frank Steph Curry.
No, they never did.
We're on first teams together.
Wow.
Kevin and Ryan is here, though.
We're Russ.
Yep, that was the last people to do at 2015, 2016.
That's how long it's been.
Wade and Brian.
No.
Jordan Scottie.
Jordan Scottie.
Jacob Coby.
Second Coby did it three times.
Um.
Amari and Ash.
Yep.
I thought that was going to be the toughest one.
Those are the ones of our lifetime.
If you want to go back, um, Kareem and Magic, no, never.
Wow.
Um, yeah, I mean, I don't expect y'all to, oh, no, no, no, Kareem and Magic did.
I'm sorry.
Twice.
They did twice.
They did twice.
Yeah.
Y'all don't even know Ralph Bird and Alex Gorzo.
No.
No.
Those don't even sound like real people.
That's not real.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't even disrespect.
I don't even say it sound like the people that's on the end of the mention 2K, the roster.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
I mean, that was the 4950 Indianapolis Olympians.
Wow.
Wow.
It's a mom.
No, my girl.
No, my girl.
My girl.
My girl.
I did love that team.
He had the jersey.
Bob Koozy and Bill Sharman did it a few times.
Not Bob Koozy.
Jerry Lucas and Big Old did it a few different times.
But yeah, it don't happen often.
I mean, yeah.
I mean, it's hard to hide that loaded of talent on a team.
Bird and Mikhail did it once.
All the NBA first thing.
Okay.
Yeah.
I thought Bird and Mikhail did.
It's weird that like, like, Kobe and Shaq did it.
They were the 5C in the conference.
It was like, they got to all the NBA first team players.
But they not bad.
They had us as teammates, I guess, that year.
It was just those two dudes.
And that's it.
All these other teams like FC, FC, FC, FC, FC.
I think we had a couple of years ago when it was like,
I think LeBron played like 50 games.
The anti-days played 50 games.
And we still had him put them first team.
And I think they was not no top seed at all.
And then Adam Silver said no more.
They got to play 65.
All right.
We'll come back.
We'll get into answering your questions with Fan Friday.
Before we go any further and say thank you to our partners
over at Draft Kings Fellows.
You know, all about Draft Kings picks six by now.
Big more or less of different players stats to the upcoming games.
Put more or less on different players stats.
Sit back, relax and see if you made the right decision.
Put them and see a pick set, man.
I've been on fire.
I've been on fire.
I'm on bumpers.
It wasn't a good day for me yesterday.
I'm on bumpers.
It wasn't a good day for me either.
I'm going to one point short.
It ain't been a good day for you in a minute.
It hasn't.
You got had the right time.
I went cold.
It's all good, though.
Let's see if you get back on your strict air.
You win Jalen Brown 25 and a half points more versus Memphis.
Man, I'm feeling pretty confident in this.
Jalen Brown, I'm hoping.
So thinking I'm going to come out and set the tone.
It's going to be one of those games.
Well, they want to just get this done early.
But he still won't get that 26 for me.
Yeah.
Poor Zingers.
One and a half for since more versus Detroit.
This is something that Prazinga has been killing for a while now.
I think on a season.
He even averaged close to three assists.
I think this might be something that went down.
When he wasn't playing as much.
So even crushing it is one and a half.
New team, new system.
They moving the ball.
Hey, come on.
Let me get that.
Mike.
Nicolio gets points rebounds assist 51.5 more versus the Raptors.
Yeah.
You can set that number again.
51.5.
51 and a half.
But this is, we're talking about Joker right here.
Still one of the best players in the world and can get it done on any given night.
Well, he got a 30 point, a 40 point.
50 point triple double.
Yeah.
He's going to be all right.
You know who's the most interesting part of what you said.
You said still one of the best.
Yeah.
Have you taken that title away from Yokech?
Yeah.
I kind of had it.
I think it's more of a conversation there was.
Okay.
And then who would you have in that spot if you've taken it away from Yokech?
Or you just saying more people are in the car.
I think there's more people in the car.
It's a lot closer.
Yeah.
You got to shave the locus right right there.
No more yachtness.
I think he'll be back.
He's trying to play.
He's trying to let him.
All right.
And lastly, I win with Kel Bridges more on points at 12 and a half versus Brooklyn.
McEl Bridges has been slumping for like 15 games.
It may be not be the smartest thing to think he's going to get out of that slump today.
But it's going to get his former team.
Uh-huh.
And it's 12 and a half.
You know, yeah.
You don't get to the free throw line.
Yeah.
You don't get to the rim.
Yeah.
He settled for mid range jumps.
Yeah.
He can't hit a three right now.
But 12 and a half.
I'm going more.
I just can't do over the half for a reason.
I know.
But I'm doing the same thing I did with the camp Johnson.
He was slumping so bad that the line got so low that it's like he got a score.
I think camps at one point was nine and a half.
It's like you got to be able to give me nine and a half.
I've been there way from a KO.
And again, this is this is I guess it's form a team right?
There's been a few years.
But you know, you know, NBA play in turn.
We love that revenge game.
Right.
And I don't know.
I know it's a New York City.
I don't know what's arena.
Um, we excited for that.
I mean, today's slated games is a pretty small comparison to some of the other ones.
I guess there is going to be a big game.
The one you wait for is Hawks versus Rockets.
Consider the Hawks can't lose in the Rockets.
Can't win.
Can't win.
Get back on track.
Um, but obviously it's a college basketball day for most people.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
When we come back, we'll get to some more numbers on the board.

Right the upside with Pixix.
Hey, man.
The star of the NCAA tournament with the Sierra.
See, see, see in a.
See, I run.
See, I was a good Duke.
That was a fun game to watch.
See, and it was a double digits at half.
And then Duke came out enough in the second half one on an 11 old run.
And there was a point in this game where I was like, see, and it's not winning.
And they missed two dunks at the beginning of the half.
And they had a three hit every part of the rim and rim out.
And I was like, yeah, everything that they were doing the first half.
Jay, just so I'm going to make every shot.
And in this half, when you miss two dunks and you have a three hit every part of the rim.
I just feel like that was just such morale killers that it was pride.
Did you see my boyfriend and Koi right there?
Yeah, he was out there.
She said that he, he was the one that she was saying.
He shot like 30% or 20%.
And he had that one game.
But you know what?
I wish he would have shot it a little bit more.
Yeah.
He passed up on a lot of looks.
And I think they needed them.
What I loved about it is their coach.
By Jerry McNamere.
And I grew up on him.
Okay.
He played with Syracuse.
Okay.
Lamello.
Keen Warwick.
And I know how bad he wanted to be Duke, man.
That would have been really, really dope.
They didn't play anybody.
Yeah.
They literally played five players.
Good for you.
And I was like, you could see that at some point.
Those were tire legs out there.
That's what I'm doing 2K all the time.
And then Duke looked real crazy.
No, it can't do.
Does the coach say Shire?
Yeah, John Shire.
You said in the post game that the Cienic coach outcoached him.
Yeah.
So I'm one of the players that have time on Duke.
I wasn't watching, but I heard it in the background.
And they were saying that we underestimated them.
And we didn't come out and play our best basketball in the first half.
And we had to come back.
And we had to go win this game and play Duke basketball.
At a certain point, I rooted against Duke.
The bracket goes out of the window for me.
None of our bracket's going to be perfect anyway.
So if you don't care, then I'm going to roof it on the door.
Because for a certain way, Duke just didn't care.
Yeah.
It looked like they thought they were going to walk in and just get the win.
Yeah.
And then Cienic was just like, we're going to outwork you.
And that's literally what they were doing.
It was just like, you could sell that Duke had just started getting too much confidence.
And they were just rolling too much.
They were just the superior team barfart.
And even with like 10 minutes left and them still had like,
Cienic, Cienic, so having a lead, they still could not get it.
Or like, they could not.
Cienic.
Cienic.
Uh-huh.
They could not settle in to back how they did in the first half where they felt confident.
They felt like they could win.
As soon as they hit that second half and it started getting like time started rolling down,
they felt that pressure.
It had to be that legs, but you felt that pressure of, yeah, this is Duke who we playing again.
So we got us, even though we had a good first half, we still got to beat this team.
I think you tell your players before the game,
y'all not coming out of this one, unless you have any foul trouble,
or you just go with the flow and just they play every minute.
Um, in Cienic's case, they probably, he probably just let them know, yeah.
Yeah, I would think that's something that was unusual for them.
They probably already knew it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I will say Campbell's did a good job rally in their troops.
He seemed like he was consistently after every foul,
because he was getting to the free throw line a lot in this game.
Um, he brought everybody together, talked to him.
He, he, he seems like he's a very good own core leader.
Um, so that was something that I really noticed.
And he's just such a beast on the office of boards.
Like, maybe it's, uh, Cienic's front court,
but that was just.
And he used that under defensive boards,
because Cienic, A center was keeping that ball alive,
a lot of extra possession.
Malevi was, was it Malevi?
Yeah.
He was, he was going to work.
But he, he cannot finish.
He reminded me of Omar Shiek.
He do a lot of the other stuff that you'd be like, yeah,
he could have, he could have protected him, he could rebound.
Don't ask them in to finish the play,
because man, it was ugly.
What about your worst hit from yesterday, Darren?
You had Illinois getting eliminated in the first round,
and they won by 40.
I didn't watch this game.
I didn't either.
I typically, I was, I was looking to see what games are close.
And then I watched this game.
Um, but yeah, 40 point game, you were going to get my attention.
Um, you ain't alone, man.
I had Georgia not only beaten St. Louis,
I had to be Michigan, I had to be my final four.
Oh, man.
That's, yeah.
Huh, I live on the edge.
But it is going to suck the AJ going though.
That's only one of your thousand brackets though,
so the other ones are still good.
Who?
Yeah, don't play with my name.
I'm, I, my respect for Tyrie's Halliburde
and when I see him put a tweet, real ones make one bracket.
I seen them say that like a few days ago,
and I couldn't retweet that any more than what I did.
Cause none of them are going to be right anyway.
I feel like it just takes the integrity out of it.
But yeah, it's no longer fun.
It's all that one.
People do that because they don't want to be wrong.
They want to be able to say, I, I had high point,
because I had them in this bracket,
even though I picked West Concent over here,
but I did have high point.
Um, that's what I live for.
High point got the upset of West Concent.
I'm good.
I'm good for the rest of the, that, that,
that makes my Georgia miss,
like irrelevant to me.
Yeah.
Everybody got their own thing that they look for in the bread.
I know some people really,
they really want to get the final four teams, right?
Some people really want whoever they pick to be the champion.
Like that's everything.
I'm always just give me my Cinderella or my big upset
and I'm content.
Cause my bracket going to be garbage regardless.
But as long as I nail one of those,
I got mad too with the UNC thing.
Yeah.
Which was, I guess, UNC was only like a four point favorite anyway.
So it wasn't like a big upset.
They still got nowhere.
Somebody asked me why I hate UNC.
I don't have, I just,
when I was a kid, I didn't like them.
And that was enough to transfer to.
I'm almost 30.
They never did nothing wrong to me.
People asking why I hate West Concent.
I'm like, y'all want to stand.
They literally remind me of Central.
Yeah.
They just literally remind me.
It's just up to the same.
I'm like, it's nothing personal.
You just wouldn't understand because you don't,
you didn't go to my high school.
They remind me of our rivals.
Like the colors, the way that the players look,
the jerseys, it's just so central coded
that I just immediately ate West Concent.
I didn't really take them seriously.
And I mean, until,
I mean, the last time I took them seriously
was when they had Frank Kaminsky.
Oh, they were a good team.
They usually have some good team.
Sam Decker's on the team, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
But yeah, AJ DeBonster put on a classic.
I know he lost, but he left it all on the core, man.
He usually saw the effort, the energy,
the scoring, the mid-range jumpers.
He was running office.
He was running pick and roll it.
First time, too, and then AJ, huh?
Yeah.
I would say that.
But he lost it.
That's one more time that I have there.
So I don't feel bad.
I'm like, this is the best time.
This is the best time.
Well, you only got one game for me.
You only got one game.
I don't know if that was the best time.
Right.
Yeah.
True.
Have you missed it?
What you got there, guys?
You got a long time.
You got synergy.
Don't forget.
You got synergy.
I know.
I know.
All right.
All right.
Well, let's get into the Fran Friday.
This was from...
Fran Jessica Friday.
I said Fran Friday.
Fran Friday.
Fran Friday.
If you were an assistant coach for your favorite team,
what's one piece of advice you're given to one player on the team?
If I was an assistant coach on the Chicago Bulls,
one piece of advice that I would give to a young player?
A young player.
Oh, hard on the board.
Oh, smooth.
What'd you just say, Aja, Aja?
Leave it all on the floor.
If I'm an assistant coach for the Lakers,
uh, I'm in Deandre in every...
Every night you've got to play like how you've been playing.
But your pants are very hot today.
That's because I'm raising them up.
I have abnormally hot.
That's because you raising them up.
You're literally not touching that one left sleeve.
Hey, man, leave my pants alone.
All you have to do is say, so...
Yes.
He would say so, if you gave us a few lives.
You ain't put no bads up.
You guys sweat pants on him.
So, there you go.
I would tell Patrick Williams to shoot more.
I would disrespect Karthany Town to just make a mad
just so he can every time.
I'd be like, who are we playing against?
Oh yeah, dang y'all.
We pride, man.
Cat, Cat Price, sit out there.
He's gonna just get mad, just riling up.
Like, we going against Jalen during them?
Yeah, a brunson just shoot.
Don't even try to get him in the ball.
And he's gonna be like, what?
Oh, show me a wrong.
Show me a wrong.
Show me a wrong.
I ain't got one of the best assistant coaches in the league.
His Rick Brunson, bro.
And I'm gonna tell you what.
It's because he's like, he don't have a clipboard.
You know, a pin or a paper.
He did.
He'd be giving Jalen Brunson a total blow.
He'd be giving Jalen Brunson energy just off the field.
Like, he not trying to discipline his dad.
Like Jalen Brunson rolled a mess at his ankle.
He'd look over that bench.
Rick, we like, boy, get up.
Jalen, he ain't not even fun to touch that end.
I was seeing Rick Brunson tear him.
Stop talking to the ref.
Stop, shut up.
Well, if the dad can't convince you to do it,
I don't think anybody gonna do it,
because he still talking to that dad.
That's when he say, I'm grown.
As long as he's some great advice.
I would love to have my pops on the bench
to tell me some stuff like that.
I don't think you need your dad to tell you
to stop talking to the refs.
I think you should just stop talking to the refs.
There's not much benefit to it.
To anybody else to say it, because I guess
every game I look at, they all doing it.
If my dad is on the bench, bro, I'm be pissed.
Why?
My dad was my coach in baseball for a few seasons.
Love him to death, dearly.
Saw him yesterday.
He did most hands off coach.
He might as well be in the stands.
You know, like, that's the way some of a coach in spot.
I would play point guard and start there,
because I did lead off.
You would have to play shooting guard.
Let's be real.
My dad was a coach.
I would have had a ball all the time.
I literally rode out our team
that I'm gonna put in college hoops,
and I went position by position.
I have to move from to shooting guard.
And I put a mic at point guard.
Get away, baby Bradley.
I could be six, two, and be a shooting guard.
Come on back.
Yeah, exactly.
When we come back, we got more numbers on the board.
All right.
This next question is from Discount Andy.
He asks, what's the best advice of keeping your girl happy?
You never know what you got to this gun.
There's some assay there right now.
What?
What?
That ain't no advice.
You can't be saying something like that.
You can't say that in your dress like that, too.
What?
That's also not advice.
How is that not advice?
Because it's not advice.
It's not necessarily cliche advice.
But it's not advice.
It's just a statement.
You don't know what you got to this gun.
It's not advice.
What are you advising him on?
You're like, yeah, that's not a problem.
It's not taking for granted.
Oh, that's a different one.
Yeah.
I mean, it's the same thing.
I don't have the difference.
Literally, what that means, huh?
That's what you don't know what you got to this gun.
Like, not taking it for granted, that's what that means.
Yeah, but when somebody asks for advice,
I think they just want a little bit more
than like a cliche statement.
I mean, I don't know what you need to advice on, right?
So keeping this girl happy.
Yeah.
I don't have any advice for this.
I'm sorry.
Just be yourself.
Treat her good.
I mean, it's yeah, I'll be thinking of that.
I'm saying to me, I think like making your girl happy.
Now, if she was somebody that's finding ways
to be unhappy, then she on all.
Yeah, I was going to say, like, do the simple things, bro.
Like as her man or boyfriend, husband, whatever,
like you should be able to, you know, I don't know.
But like, do you understand what she likes?
If she likes to go to the movies or she likes popcorn and candy,
like do the small things that can't see, make her happy
and constantly walk away into this bag.
Don't be mad, because I had some advice.
That's the next question.
This one's from Omeasy.
He said, what's the food spot from another state
that y'all would love to see in Illinois?
Yeah, this is, you pick this one for yourself, so go ahead.
Oh, no, I think it's fun.
We travel a lot.
I mean, Waffle House is number one.
Yeah.
See, Waffle House is number one.
I would love for that to be a Waffle House.
Bring some dig over here to Chicago.
Some dig in?
No dig, it's called a dig.
Oh, there's not, they took the in out.
It's just dig.
It's been about seven years since they was dig in.
It's been dig for quite some time.
My original memory is dig in.
So it's always going to be dig in.
Where you cost a company two times as much money
because you want to throw your food around New York City.
He was so happy he was swinging the bag.
Swinging the bag.
So bad look for us.
That first opening meeting.
So you got to do?
What, one of those, some type of healthy, like,
I feel like New York always be having those good places
where you can get like a wrap.
We just don't have enough here.
Something like that.
But dig is a great answer.
Yeah, dig is a great answer.
What a burger will be a good one too.
Go, go ahead, try to dig.
Getting your back.
You know what's funny?
I was on some big back stuff, not recently.
Oh, no.
Recently.
So.
And I felt like, don't tell me you did that again.
What, were you when they got the Chick-fil-A sandwich
make Donald's fries?
Oh, no, no, no.
I thought he did it again.
And you shuffle the burgers to the other like a car.
Like a car.
When he got the full crispy cream doughnuts and he had put
a double cheeseburger, a burger patty in the middle of it.
No.
He said, I'm gonna get the best item from every restaurant.
But you also, you gotta remember,
you get the diet sprites, which is not good.
It just, it left with so far.
It left without you get the diet sprites.
Been in May of light.
No, hold the salt in the frowns, please.
I had looked up why, why isn't there an in and out in Chicago?
That way it gets in a bottom of this, oh, man.
And the reason that there's not an in and out in Chicago
is because in and out doesn't want any of their products
frozen and we're too far from where they manufacture all the food.
So it has to be within 300 miles of that facility
in order to get an out in your location.
Okay, would you move closer for you now?
No.
Would you turn it to a scientist to figure out how we can do it?
No, but I first met that piece.
I'm here for you.
I did it with my mom on vacation.
You gotta put it in the salt.
I believe he would because the fact you move with it is crazy.
They're just very strict on where they allowed our locations.
We've been out here.
Why is in and out even deeply in your mind like that?
I was in the move for a double double animal style.
Jane.
All right.
I think that might go to the joint video.
No, this is before that.
I was really just standing in the kitchen, just looking at the fridge.
I wish I was standing up burger there.
You ever seen dragon tails?
They had to run somewhere and both grab the thing.
That's how you use it in the kitchen.
You can't ever look on TikTok how you can make it.
Make it.
Oh, no.
You're like, I'm sure there's recipes.
Oh, so good.
I wouldn't even try.
I'm not really into making certain things.
Like, I would never try to make an Italian beef or a burger.
You never made an Italian beef on the side.
No, not like from scratch, you know,
but I'm probably about like a bone frozen thing.
Yeah, I've made those, but I wouldn't make my own
out of you.
Oh, absolutely.
I wouldn't ask you to do that.
I don't even know what that means.
It's all that's what the juice is.
Oh, that's like the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the gravy.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
But I know I had an actual name to it.
Yes, I do.
I've always been out of it.
Did you learn that?
I'm not refuting that.
I'm just saying I didn't know it.
Okay.
Did you learn that effort to learn that effort?
I didn't work, I didn't work it.
I didn't work it.
I didn't work it.
This is it.
I do.
It's always been.
Did you learn that effort to learn that effort?
That was the first thing.
When you go to like one of those faint, like when you go to our age, they'd be like, it
comes with the eyes.
Oh, no, no real hood.
I'm calling that.
Yeah.
Hey, the, I won my big beef dip in I chew.
I ain't going to stand on it.
Yeah.
Usually from your casual is going to be like, no, even if it definitely didn't come
with that.
They're going to call it gravy your casual eater.
A casual eater.
He's been in here since I was a child.
I remember.
I just a casual eater.
He was being real adamant.
He said, y'all don't got that bone marrow.
Y'all don't got that extra bone marrow for the steak.
Oh, remember that bone marrow butter.
The bone marrow butter.
Oh, okay.
Now I derivative.
I also remember him.
The lady said, these are shareable plates.
No, this is mine.
This is for me.
I know it's shareable, but this is mine.
He told Dylan, don't touch this plate.
This is for me.
And didn't even eat it.
Right?
You ain't like it.
I'm pretty sure he doesn't say it.
I invited him out with me one time to like one of the first times I went to a
dentist party.
He was like, I want this steak.
I didn't know.
Did you get a big chicken?
That was one of the times I was like, I hated that food.
No.
Yeah, that was Utah.
I wasn't.
Yeah.
Did you ever have big chicken?
Yeah, I did.
You have a big chicken.
I don't know.
I'm lowkey rocked with that plate.
We went to big chicken when we was in Vegas, too.
He's never been chicken.
He was one right next to our hotel.
He's got an airport.
Yeah, right next to our hotel.
Yeah.
This one from Newman.
He said, who are y'all go to Mario Kart players?
Characters.
Yoshi.
Toe.
Can I?
Can I?
I have a toad figure in my office.
Can I expose myself?
Never played.
You've never played Mario Kart?
Never played.
Hey.
What?
Friends gave him.
I'm going to bring my Mario Kart.
Say that.
I got Mario Kart for my switch.
I got dusted, though.
They, I was playing with some nerds or something.
They killed me.
I didn't get back on their sons.
And they were already seeing them.
They were real.
They don't play about that Mario Kart.
They'd be different when you're just playing like the little kids.
Because they don't be knowing the drift and they don't be knowing all that type of stuff.
Yeah, I've never played.
So you just want to beat up on the competition.
No.
Yeah, I'm saying.
Let me try to take it.
What's the, um, what's the ghost guy?
The ghost guy.
Not really important.
He's the coolest looking.
That's probably who I will go with.
Oh, I think his name's like, boo.
Maybe.
Makes sense to me.
He is a ghost.
That is the one word they be knowing.
Uh, this one's from, yes.
He said, what are y'all daily routines that make you feel complete?
They're having to figure out what I want to do for dinner every night.
That's like one of the grownest things I feel like you could do.
It's such a luxury when you're kind of living at home and your mom or your parents are taking
care of that.
When you got to do it every night and you try to, you want to eat healthy and not try to eat
out every night, if you like a chore, even when it's, it's just really a responsibility
that grownups have.
I've been really into skincare recently.
I've been watching a lot of videos of before and now.
They're like, ooh, that's kind of cool.
I even bought a Thera body red light mask.
Oh.
And I'd be putting it on.
I'd be feeling like deaf stroke, bro.
It's the coolest feeling in the world.
And it's only nine minutes a day.
But I've been into that.
And then, of course, I got my moisturizer.
It's my vitamin C.
I don't know how to pronounce some of this stuff.
Hyaluronic acid.
Obviously.
Stuff like that.
And that's cool.
Hyaluronic acid.
Oh.
I don't think you pronounce that, right?
No matter.
I know what you're talking about.
Yeah.
I got that look.
I know I'm not pronounced right.
Well, I'll shape and say.
Well, I'll shape.
That's what I use.
Got that.
That makes your face.
That's, that's, I love using that.
It's a good feeling to wake up, take a shower and do the, do the facial hygiene.
You know, who stuff was real good?
I had the Pharrell skincare line.
I mean, if it's anybody who advice I want to take on looking young, it's Pharrell.
You know, it's for real good.
I got the look.
Yeah, for real.
You know, here's treatment.
This stuff was good, but I'm, I'm on that emotional state.
I heard it pronounced on a commercial recently.
And I didn't keep it in my brain.
But the commercial pronounced it a certain way.
It's a big commitment.
I mean, they want $50 for a bottle.
Yeah, no, for sure.
One of my things like this big, I pay $45.
Yeah, it's crazy.
Anyway, when we come back, we got more numbers on the board.
All right, this question is from Jay.
And he said, with unlimited money, what does your dream house look like?
What's the things that y'all would love to see your movie theater in my house?
I'm such a movie guy.
And I love the, the, the static of movie theaters having one side of my basement,
where I could just go down there, especially if I could have the family over.
You think that, like, let's say Spider-Man brand new day comes out in a few months.
Do you not see it at the movie theater at all?
You just wait to come on streaming to see it, watch it in your house?
Because you're not, they're not going to give you the movies as they hit the theater.
Yeah, I'll probably go see it in theater.
And then watch it again once it comes out at home.
Of course, interesting.
But like, it's past the just new movies that coming out.
I would be watching every movie on that thing.
You know what I'm saying?
Like that would be my entertainment room.
Unlimited money, man.
My house would be weird, because I would want a lot of things,
but I also want to be close to people.
I'd be seeing sometimes houses, and they have no, like, nothing is near them.
Yeah.
Like the burry is places.
Yeah.
I still kind of want to be close to some stores.
I mean, I want to see other people when I go outside.
But I like the houses with the big windows.
I like to let the sunlight come to natural light come in.
I would probably have a lot of secret rooms,
where you lean on that bookshelf and it flip over,
and now you in a slam magazine room.
The whole room is just slam magazines.
This is my college basketball room.
All football season here.
This is my NFL room.
I might have a basketball court, so the guys could come in.
I love batting kids.
Yeah.
Some, some, some, uh, yeah.
It'll just be like, you know, I have the New York Knicks practice in that show house.
Like a Drizzy Day will go to stage.
Yeah.
I have basically like a little Dave and Busters in my crib,
so I can invite y'all over and we could just play all the kids.
All the kids will love y'all.
No, no, no, this for adults.
That's it.
You want to break your daughter can't come over there.
I just want to play a full baseball game.
I just want to stay to New York golf simulator.
Not like a small one.
I mean, like a one that's like the one you pay to the watch something.
You know what I'm saying?
Like the one big $50,000 once.
That's kind of it.
I don't know.
Also what a spiral staircase to go somewhere.
It's not the currency.
I've always thought spiral staircases seem scary.
At the age of 30.
Yeah.
Wow.
You got to have some balance.
I don't know.
I just feel like if you fall, you kind of just.
Yes.
With any stairs.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm going to go straight down then to spiral down.
Because the spiral might stop you from going down because you would have to.
You would have to fall.
I don't know.
I always feel like there's a chance to be falling over too.
I don't know.
It's always seen to go where you're in the house.
Is this a spiral?
We should get you to conquer that fear, man.
No.
Where are you falling though?
It ain't like you want to top of the sears tower.
You're just going upstairs in your house.
Even if you fail, it wouldn't be nothing.
Because I walked up a pair of ones.
And it was just like they were so it was such tight turns.
And I was just like, this just feels uncomfortable.
And your motor ski is that bad?
No.
It's a staircase that's spiral.
Have you ever seen witches steps?
No.
It's just like something you wouldn't even want in your house.
But it's like a design where the stairs are really, really steep.
That's why I could see that if you're having like,
I ain't trying to go down those stairs, but it's spiral.
They have literally a handrail.
So you could use it.
It's not like it's just a free fall or free steps.
I wouldn't mind having a person to chef either.
Oh, yeah.
I would have a lake in the back yard.
You could fish?
Yeah.
My own private lake.
Give me a pool.
Private lake, yeah.
I mean, he's this age dream, right?
Yeah.
This is from mate.
I don't know how to say your name.
I'm sorry.
Matthewish.
I'm gonna just say that.
At least you try.
What's your most embarrassing medium moment?
Hmm.
It actually happened this all start weekend, unfortunately.
They just shoot with the NBA.
Nervous.
First of all, they made me take off my shirt.
I had a nice outfit on.
They said, no, I can't wear that because of the logos.
Fine.
But now I'm in a white tank.
A white tee.
Just a plain white tee doing this big old interview.
And I'm nervous.
I ain't gonna lie to you.
You know, you get the nerves.
And then superstar players walking through.
And I have to anchor this conversation.
The intro that I had.
And it was about me being nervous,
but also them changing the script last minute.
It was the worst intro I've ever put on.
Like sometimes we do this show and my intro is bad and we restart.
You know, this is not one of them situations where you can restart.
So the whole time in the back of my mind, I'm like,
the first two minutes of this video is so bad.
And I know I'm being judged by these players.
You know.
But afterwards, I was able to reshoot it when everybody left.
So y'all, once the video comes out, you would never know that I had one take
that was so bad that I was thinking about it for 30 minutes straight.
I kind of want to see that take.
Yeah.
Nope.
I was able to be when Pierre told Spencer Denwoody that I wrote that question.
Start bench cut, Tyler Hiro, Kawaii, Paul George.
And I had to just sit there and just accept it.
And there was nothing I could do to argue with because we were on a live show too.
And also Spencer Denwood is right there.
And I was just like, well.
Because the conversation was like, it was another one.
Okay, the cat's out the bag.
I don't world wrote it.
It was like yogic.
Jewel and B.
Yeah, J. George.
They were so bad.
Yeah, it was bad.
Thankfully, we could never have to deal with anything like that again.
Another great episode of numbers on the board from Mike, from Pete,
from Demailers from Kennedy Beach, and we'll see y'all tomorrow.
