Pslam 139:1-24 TPT
So, one under the thirty-nine, the Passion Translation, Lord, you know everything there is to
know about me. You perceive every movement of my heart and soul, and you understand my
every thought before it even enters my mind. You are so intimately aware of me, Lord. You
read my heart like an open book, and you know all the words I'm about to speak before I
even start a sentence. You know every step I will take before my journey even begins.
You've gone into my future to prepare the way and in kindness you follow behind me,
to spare me from the harm of my past. You have laid your hand on me. This is just
a wonderful, deep and incomprehensible. Your understanding of me brings me wonder and strength.
Where could I go from your spirit? Where could I run and hide from your face? If I go up to heaven
you're there. If I go down to the realm of the dead, you're there too. If I fly with wings
into the shining dome, you're there. If I fly into the radiant sunset, you're there waiting.
Wherever I go, your hand will guide me. Your strength will empower me. It's impossible to
disappear from you or to ask the darkness to hide me. For your presence is everywhere. Bring
in light into my night. There's no such thing as darkness with you. The night to you is as bright
as the day. There's no difference between the two. You formed my innermost being, shaping my
delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wooved them all together in my mother's womb.
I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex. Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking.
It simply amazes me to think about it how thoroughly you know me Lord. You even formed every bone in
my body. When you created me in the city, please carefully, skillfully you shaped me from nothing
to something. You saw who you created me to be before I became me. Before I'd ever seen the
light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book. Every single
moment you're thinking of me, how precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me
constantly in your every thoughts. Oh God, your desires towards me are more than the greens or
sand on every shore. When I wake it morning, you're still with me.
Oh God, calm and sleep is blood thirsty, wondrous men. For I cry out, depart from me,
you wicked ones. See how they blaspheme your sacred name and lift up themselves against you,
but all in vain. Lord, can't you see how I despise those who despise you? For I grieve when I see
their rise over against you. I have nothing but complete hatred and disgust for them. Your enemies
shall be my enemies. God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through.
Find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my
anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I'm walking on and lead me back to your glorious
everlasting way. The path that brings me back to you. Bye, well before breakfast,
Melody, can still go here. Good morning. We're still talking about making big moves with God
this month. And you know that we talked yesterday about those intimate moments with God.
And today we're still talking, but today I want you to look at those quiet conversations that you
have with God. You know yesterday we talked about the arrow. We talked about the fact that the
archer pulls back an arrow skillfully. There's tension. But you see that tension is not punishment
like we said to yesterday. That tension is to ensure that your position properly.
The drawing back is not delayed. It's actually preparation. And if we want to move forward,
then we must be prepared to have backward intimacy because when God releases you,
you must not wobble. This I think is one of the most important things that God wants to release us
when we are ready. And that comes from being with him. Today has reached Psalm 139. I want you to see how
David had such quiet and intimate conversations with God. The way he saw God, the way he saw how God
saw him, the way he poured out his heart. Even when his heart was crying out against those who hated
his God, he said, search me. See if there's any evil sin in me. Check. See if the path that I'm
walking on is a path of pain and lead me back. Check me. Search me. He understood that the moment you
are pulled back, then the archer can look at you very carefully and reposition you before he releases
you. One thing I know is when the archer pulls back an arrow, the arrow faces backward before it
flies forward. So that feeling of being away from everyone and everything may not be bad thing.
It may be just God positioning you so that you can't fly forward properly.
When the archer pulls back an arrow, the tension increases before this release.
So everything may feel like it's not working. Everything may feel like you don't understand
but that's when you need to have those quiet conversations with God. The aim must be steady before
the launch. When God releases you, you cannot walk on. And you see in that drawing back season,
which I believe comes before the release, there may be less visibility and that's okay.
Just because people don't see you does not mean that you're forgotten.
You may be growing underground, but you need to grow strong roots so that when you grow as tall as
you should, you will have something underneath you to hold you up. In that season when you are drawn
back, there will be more prayer. Oh yes, you will have those conversations with God and don't be
ashamed to help them. Cry if you must. Shout if you must. Let me tell you something. Your
emotions don't make God nervous. Before you move forward, ask him again. The last time I tried
I failed, why? Ask him again. Why do you believe so much in me? Why do you think I can keep doing
these things you ask me to do? Ask him again. Must I go alone?
Must I go alone? Ask him again. Why don't I feel you sometimes? Why does it feel like I'm
up against the world they learn sometimes? Ask him again. What have you promised to do this time?
I keep it before my eyes. That season of being drawn back may also mean fewer announcements,
but it would definitely mean more alignment. So in this season where you feel that God is saying
move forward and you suddenly feel like there's a pullback, don't fight attention. It's just
building spiritual velocity. Don't fight attention. God is just drawing you back because he wants
to release you and when he does, you must not move. When God releases you after he has pulled
you back, listen to me. The distance will shock you. That's why in this season God is saying
make big moves. I'm saying we draw before you go forward. Don't just run. Have quiet moments.
This is what I want you to do. Number one, shadow them. Shadow the intentional quiet moments daily.
No scruly, no multitasking just you and God. A pen and a paper. Don't take your phone in.
Let the world wait while you talk to your God. Second thing I need you to do is to ask
board questions. Lord, what are you preparing me for? Lord, what do you want to do with me?
Lord, what big moves should I make? Lord, what will it do for your kingdom? How will it bring you glory?
Ask really board questions. Ask God to do you a list of the things that he wants you to touch,
that he wants you to let go of, that he wants you to pray over. Don't just walk in thinking,
oh, I got this. No, ask board questions. Number three, I want you to pause a bit. Don't announce
what God hasn't released. Let some things incubate. Remember, when Mary was breaking down with Jesus,
she didn't run off and just post about it. I wonder what many of us would do today,
if Angel Gabriel appeared to us, before we even had a chance to finish the conversation,
we would have posted it live. Would I probably go on an IG live at that time or a tick-tock live?
Just to say, here with Angel Gabriel, hashtag, that is girl, hashtag, that is God's baby mama, hashtag.
Okay. Mary didn't post about it. The woman at the well didn't post about it. Guess who I'm
talking to now? Jesus girl, hashtag in your faces, hashtag, bebed em gang. No. They let the encounter
marinade, they took their time, they settled in to having conversations with God. Listen, big moves
are not manufactured, they are released. So you need to spend time. Before they release,
they have to be relationship. Before the flight, they have to be a drawing back. I said that over
and over again. Before public courage, they have to be private confidence. A private confidence
comes from private conversations. So today, don't rush forward, just because God has said,
make big moves. Let him pull you back. Trust him from the bottom of your heart.
Listen for his voice everywhere you go. The Bible says he's the one who keeps you on track.
And when he releases you, oh my darling, you won't just move. You will so. Good morning.
