Man Questioned in Al Fayed Probe

0:00On March 27, police have interviewed a man in his 60s under caution as part of their probe into people who may have helped former Herod's owner, Muhammad Afayed, committed offenses. He's being questioned on suspicion of aiding rape, sexual assault, and human trafficking for sexual exploitation. Earlier this month, officers spoke with three women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s over the same suspected crimes. No one has been arrested so far, and the case is still active. Afayed ran herds from 1985 to 2010, and also owned the Ritz-Paris Hotel and Fullham Football Club at the time of many. Alleged attacks, multiple women have come forward accusing him of rape and assault. He passed away in 2023 at age 94. So far, 154 victims have reported claims of sexual assault, rape, exploitation, and trafficking linked to Afayed. Investigators have expanded the probe to include human trafficking.
