Manchester Museums Shine at Museums Plus Awards

On March 27, four Manchester Museums have made the shortlist for the 2026 Museums, plus heritage awards, often called the Oscars of the Moon, sector.

The Science and Industry Museum, Manchester Art Gallery, National Football Museum, and Manchester Museum are all in the running.

These city center spots are already well known across the UK and Europe for their top notch exhibits.

The National Football Museum earned a nod for visitor.

Welcome, while Manchester Art Gallery is up for team of the year.

The Science and Industry Museums revamped Power Hall, which reopened last October along with the Andrew Law Gallery, could snag permanent exhibition, or sustainable project honors.
