America leads the world in medicine development. It matters. We get new medicines first, nearly
three years faster. Five million Americans go to work because we make medicines here at home,
and not relying on other countries keeps us safe. But China is racing to overtake us.
Will we let them? Or will we choose to stay ahead? When America leads,
America cures. Let's tell Washington to keep us in the lead.

Mate, first off, before we get Brandy on the line, we're trying to track him down as we speak,
but the manly rooster's game last night. First off, did you think it was going to happen
with all the weather that was going on on the northern beaches? I missed the first half,
jumped into the second half, but obviously saw all the stuff online about it. But the big
chat was whether they were going to boo their former player and it was interesting. I mean,
if you've been in the northern beaches, they don't stuff around. And so it was pretty clear
that they were always going to boo him, right? Well, there's a thing about, I feel a rugby
list suburban grounds where there's a hill. You always know, like if there's a hill at a home
ground, those fans are going to boo. That's my rule of thumb. Whether you've left their club
and come back to play for another club or not, they'll find a reason to boo someone. So I
wasn't surprised. Now, you had a great idea, though, yesterday for manly fans. Well, yeah,
if you were asking yourself whether you're going to boo or not, I just think you should have
done it respectfully. Respectfully, no. Respectfully boo. I was listening for that on the
coverage. I was hoping to hear if you respectfully boo, I'll give him this though. The boo is right.
Because you think when he runs out, they're going to boo, right? Yes. And that's it. They'll
move on. They'll give him. Maybe if he scores or so, anytime they mention his name over the PR.
Yeah. Yeah. And then the concentration levels for the boo is right. Because it was legitimately
every time we touched it, it'd be boo. Then it stopped. Boo. And that like you got it. That's
a high level of concentration. If you're drinking cans, yes. And then you're at the 14 like someone
someone's going to lead that. Here he is. Ready? Here he comes. Boo. In and out. They did it to
galvan. Remember the Tigers fans. I was pretty impressed with that level of bully. I love
well, yeah, we call it. Yeah, yeah. So a lot low level bully. No, it was it. It was impressive.
I especially the the little short ones where it was just literally a catch and pass.
Not different like now. Let it go. Let it go. Yeah. So to concentrate on a game,
why you're at the game to boo like that is quite remarkable. And also want your team to do well.
Like there's a lot going on for those fans. Yes, there are. Now, obviously, Manly went down
in the game, but they let it half time. Now you watch the first half. Yeah. And you, but you know
what? I watched the first half and this man on the line was the voice I was hearing the whole
time. None other than SCN zone and Fox Sports zone. The great Brandy Alexander. Brandy,
welcome to the right home, mate. Barney and Filpy. Good afternoon, boys.
Well, we are too, Brandy. We couldn't get you there for a second. You're out of the back,
putting the clothes on the line, mate, or well, I'm I'm at Fox. I'm already sure. I don't know.
Foodie. Yes. Yeah. Never. Never. I don't know what happened with the phone.
There. Mitch said it. Mitch said it apparently. He said it just goes straight to voicemail.
And anyway, I'm on. Building is a bit of a bunker. Now, mate, first off, great call last night
of the roosters and Manly game. First off, we were just chatting a little bit about the booing.
Were you impressed as Filpy was by how engaged the Manly fans were? Like how much attention they
are paying that every time DCE touched the ball, they managed to boot. I know. I and and well,
I was. I was impressed that the fact that every time he did get it, that they were, you know,
very focused and didn't never miss that. And I said, well, he could get 40 or 50 touches.
You know, like, and that's make it a long. I said, I think I did say through the call that we
could have a lot of horse voices, a lot of strange voice voice voice boxes at the end of the night.
But when they, when they started the Cherries of Wanker, I didn't like that. No, I wasn't a fan of that.
Yeah. No, neither way. You know, everyone knows that the hubs down at the moment. So you just
got to make what you can. But mate, now one thing I noticed, like the weight of possession and
territory in the first half with the roosters so much, yet they went into halftime down. What
did you make of that first half? Very hard to believe that that could happen. I guess, you know,
manly, manly, well, manly knew that they needed a win. Like the third game of bookie win
less coming into the game. I thought, you know, their effort to to restrain the roosters despite them
having all the, there was a stat that flashed up at the back end of the first half. And it was
like 51 tackles inside the manly half of the foodie to the roosters. And I think it was like eight
to the manly inside. They barely crossed half way, manly. So to go in the lead 10, 8, I think
said a lot, well, says a lot about the second play try was incredible, wasn't it? Just, just
absolutely. You know, they're saying they caught them with their pants down. That was the perfect
example of it, wasn't it? The roosters just weren't ready for manly to pass the ball to Jason Samp
on the second play of the night, late night. Little bit greasy. They were jammed in. And then
Tolercole scores a spectacular length of the field three, you know, 80 meter try. And then
that's their points for the first half. So the roosters played with great control. And I think
that great control, which went through the first half and then carried through the opening,
you know, 20 minutes to the second half. You know, it was no surprise to see the roosters finally
run some tries in. But when they came, they came in a, you know, a group three tries in six minutes.
Yeah, mate. Tolercole was probably a highlight for manly on what was probably an otherwise
reasonably forgettable night. What's your take on manly at the moment there? Obviously,
I went three now, sort of looking a bit nowhere. Is Seabold under pressure?
I guess he is, you know, there's a number of coaches that are under pressure from teams that
haven't won. But, you know, when when a coach that was under pressure coming into the season,
and there was a lot of talk about Anthony Seabold and Todd Payton, you know, coaches that
from sides, but they were the two that everyone was saying, well, these two are under the most
pressure. You know, that just intensifies when you've lost three home games. So, yeah, he's under
pressure. I don't know what, what happens with Anthony Seabold. I don't know how many losses that
manly will put up with before they think about making a change. But I, you know, I don't think
they need to do that just yet. You know, he needs a little bit of time to rescue the situation.
However, he is under pressure. There's no doubt about it. Brandy, I think it was half time,
maybe even full time of the night's manly game. And you came out with a word I hadn't heard in
a long time. And it was insipid. And it's a great word, like it just really described.
Like it's one of those words that really just go, wow, like you can come out and say,
manly, we're terrible. And everyone will be like, yeah, they were. But it's manly, we're insipid.
Do we have a new word this week? I've gone through and I've had to look at other, like,
is it synonyms, synonyms for the word insipid? There's like vapid. Maybe we could go with vapid or
banal. But oh, banal, banal, banal, banal. Wishy washed off.
Yeah. We played the word game on the breakfast show last week.
I said, well, I'm sick of saying, you know, this side. And it might have been manly I was talking
about. Or a side that had lost two games in a row. And I said, they'll be looking for redemption.
And I thought, everyone says redemption. So we throw it out there on the breakfast program,
Jimmy and I. What other word can I use besides redemption? And the list that they're smart,
the listeners are really smart. Some of the words they came up with. So I ended up using one of
the words. I said, well, I promised to use that in the call and on the panel. And it was
absolution. Oh, that's good. Last week, they are looking for absolution. So almost brought in
or we just don't like that. Yeah, around Easter. That's come perfect. Didn't you mention one
earlier on too about pulling their pants down? I don't get that one because anytime my pants are
down, I'm having a good time. I haven't had a bad time anytime my pants have been down. So
someone's pulling my pants down. I'm all for it. Well, obviously you've never been to a function
with Mark Goyer. MG used to make habit because we go to promotions with and we wear our
tracksuits, our penra tracksuits. Sometimes after training, the boys that have a shower and they
wouldn't put underpants. Oh, the DACA. Yeah. MG's got a couple of boys in the early 90s where
we're on stage. He ripped the pants down and then put his foot on. The double DACA. He's
doubling down. That's a little bit of weight behind that foot too when you're trying to get the
pants back up. Yeah. That's not happening. Well, they remind me of this classic story. I remember
with my old man. Him and his mates used to DACA all the time and they were partial. I'm not
wearing any underwear like you just mentioned brandy. I was distinctly remembered this.
I would have been sort of twelved and sticks in my memory. The dads mates just ducked him
at the wall worst checkout like bang. Instead of quickly just grabbing him and pulling him up,
he thought he'd flip it back and he just left him down and walked down. I remember thinking
that's a bold moves, but well done to you. Brady, we've got to let you go to get prepared for
tonight's panel. Just a quick one. Would any predictions for tonight's two games, mate?
I think the worry is when they're they're looking fantastic and I don't know. It's a tough one.
Broncos, no pain hearts, but I'll stick with the home. Well, it's both there. It's their home brand,
both of them, isn't it? The battle full Brisbane. I'll say the battle of Brisbane. I'll go with the
Broncos. Beautiful. Excellent. Well, Brandy, we'll be watching you on the panel tonight.
Go well, mate. Thanks for being part of the run home. Good on you boys. See you later. See you.
All right. Plenty more to come up on the run home. A little bit later, we're going to chat to
Sam, thaweday. That's all coming up. This is the run home with Barney and Filpy.
