Over the last 60 years, I've been the manager of several companies, and I was asked often to compromise. I discovered long ago that compromise means giving in to the other guy's position. How bad can that get? We had a joke about the old Soviet Union. "What's mine is mine, and what's yours is negotiable." Some people say they want to compromise with no thought of compromising.
Iran: We want to kill all the Jews in Israel."
Liberals: "Can't you just meet Iran halfway?"
As a practicing Christian, I try to follow Christ, and in His example. Sometimes I'm told to compromise, "because that's what a Christian would do." But then I thought, did Jesus ever compromise? "There are many paths to God." Christians are supposed to agree. Go along to get along?
Jesus said, "No one comes to the Father but by me."

As a practicing Christian, I try to follow Christ, and in his example, sometimes I'm told to compromise. Because I'm a Christian, and that's what a Christian would do. But then I thought, did Jesus ever compromise? Christians are supposed to agree. There's many paths to God. But Jesus said, no one comes to the Father, but by me.
