In this week's episode, Juan Cienfuegos talks with Margot Paez, about Bitcoin mining and its real environmental impact. Also about regulations and Greenpeace's failed campaign on Skull of Satoshi.

Margot Paez is a PhD candidate in the civil engineering department at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She holds a BS in physics from GT and works on statistical modeling of climate change, primarily related to water resources. Her previous research includes robotics and physics of living systems, astrobiological instrumentation, and web-based data management systems.
