Marquise Brown Joins Eagles, A.J. Brown Trade Rumors Persist

Marquis Hollywood Brown has agreed to a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

A source familiar with the contract shared the news with the Associated Press on Tuesday,

but it's not official yet.

The wide receiver spent last season with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brown put up 49 catches for 5087 yards and five touchdowns that year.

He turns 29 in June, and now joins a loaded offense around quarterback Jalen Hertz.

That group already stars Sequam Barkley, the 2024 AP NFL offensive player of the year,

along with AJ.

Brown, Devonta Smith, and Tideon Dallas-Gotert, who's back on his own one-year contract.

Brown's peak came in 2021 with the Ravens when he had 91 receptions for 1,0008 yards and

six scores.

About seven NFL seasons with Baltimore, Arizona, and Kansas City, he owns 371 catches 4,322

yards and 33 touchdowns.

This addition might make AJ Brown easier to move.

The Eagles have fielded trade offers for the three-time pro-Bullstar, and Miami's recent

deal sending Jalen Waddle to Denver for a first-round pick, plus third, and fourth-rounders
