41-year-old Max Scherzer has signed on with the Toronto Blue Jays for the 2026 season.

The future Hall of Famer and two-time World Series winner wants another shot at a title

Only 15 Blue Jays players have appeared in regular season games at age 40 or older since

the team started in 1977.

Scherzer stands out among them, much like 43-year-old Justin Verlander who inked a one-year

deal to return to the Detroit Tigers.
