Mayor Canceled For Making Fun Of GAYZ

We are hearing from a woman who says the mayor of a Long Island village made anti-LGBTQ remarks

on one of her Instagram posts. CBS News in New York spoke with Rebecca Chavez, who runs an

animal rescue in Rio Grande Valley. They have a bit of a controversy going on in New York,

it relates to an animal rescue in Texas, where reportedly a mayor of a small town in New York

left a mean comment on a woman's video where she was dancing and in the background, a wife for

a thing, I don't even know what it is, honestly, I'm with the commenter in this regard,

left a message that was deemed to be very offensive, not only to the person in the background,

not only to the woman who posted the video, but apparently as you heard in the open of this,

according to the local news, to all the LGBTQ XXIIP community. And yeah, we gotta hear a little

bit of a reading of this particular comment so we can make our judgments, but this is gonna be

the topic for today, make no mistake about it. Chavez posted a video for dancing along with her

wife D, who can be seen there in the background. Well, a comment on the video read, what's that

thing in the background? A guy, a girl, some creature? Look, I'm gonna be perfectly honest with you guys

out there in the audience, the comment was in fact funny, the comment was in fact hilarious,

but it is a bit odd, it is a bit weird that the mayor of a town would be going on random

Instagram videos and making such sharp criticisms, such sharp points of individuals like this,

but yeah, when looking at this person, I can't tell if that's a vampire, a guy, or a girl,

or whatever. So I understand the question, I understand the implication of the question,

but of course, this has stirred up a whole mess of controversy in New York State,

and I think it's important for us to talk about this today, but before we do, I want to thank

Oh, give me the money. Give you, give me the money, okay? When I found out who he was and I posted it

and gained the traction that it did, first he commented and said, I wasn't talking about the person,

I was talking about the dog in the background, which we know is a lie. It's like, hey, if you were

confident enough to make such a hateful comment, then own it. Oh, what you said. Why are you

trying now to deflect and say that you're talking about my white dog in the background? You know

that is not true. So first of all, I don't know why this lady's trying to make it a racial thing

by highlighting the fact that the dog in the background is a white dog in the background. Although

I do find it interesting that she distinguishes the dogs by color, and she's clearly dancing with

the black dog in the foreground also in addition to that. I feel like I've been catfished by the

original Instagram video in comparison to this video because yeah, she looks like a totally

different person just by a change in the lighting and the camera setup. And you think if you were

going to do an interview on TV, then you would very likely, you know, want to have the best view

possible for your TV interview. But of course, this controversy goes far beyond a stupid Instagram

comment, something that I honestly found laughable at first glance. Because of course, they decided

that they're going to launch an investigation into the mayor over this. And again, I will just point

out that this is a rude Instagram comment about a vampire that was in the background that the

mayor was only trying to warn this text in about in my humbleest of humble opinions.

Sagarber Village Mayor Thomas Gardella is in hot water over social media comment. Some say was

insensitive to the LGBTQ community at the village boards monthly meeting Tuesday night. Ed Hay

the deputy mayor announced that the village will launch an investigation into the mayor's comments

Rebecca Chavez, who has an Instagram account out of Texas on Monday reported the comments linked

to the mayor's private Instagram account. Miss Chavez had posted a real with her wife Deanna

who has short hair dancing in the background in the comments. It appears that Mr. Gardella commented

from his private account. What is that thing in the background? A guy or girl? Some creature.

Question mark. Miss Chavez, who is an animal rights activist, then posted a new video in which she

calls out the mayor's comments and traces it back to Mr. Gardella. His comments were then sent out

to all the email addresses listed on the Sagarber Village website. Quote, Oh, Tom, you should know

better a caption across the video reads in response. The mayor appears to comment again. Quote, I was

referring to what I think is a white dog. I only get a glimpse of him or her in the video.

I can clearly see a person dancing. You shouldn't make assumptions. A dog does appear in the video

briefly. So one of the funniest things about this particular story is that you realize that the

controversy is nowhere near as widespread as the reporting of the controversy because this article

says that 60 people, 60 whole human beings actually responded to that comment saying that this man

is a homophobic and he should definitely apologize for his homophobia and this is after this woman

made a new video ended up drawing additional attention to it and of course actually emailed the

video and the comments to every single email address available on the Sagarber website again to

maximize this in order to get the most amount of attention surrounding it and still you only had

60 people replied of this comment. Although I will point out the comment is clearly in my opinion

the mayor trying to cover his tracks in a hilarious way saying that he was actually talking about

the white dog so it turns out he brought up the race of the dog which I find to be very questionable

rather than actually the person that he was very likely talking about because you don't typically

ask if a dog is a guy or a girl or some creature honestly if we're being perfectly fair about this

but yeah this is what we're talking about a mayor with a private account. I'll never understand

people with ghost accounts on the internet.com secretly leaving sniping comments in the background

of this particular page which again is an animal rescue in Texas. I'm not even sure how he would

have came across this but apparently this is the primary main issue and again it's such an issue

for Rebecca Chavez that she actually have to track down the original commenter go after him try

to ruin his life and what appears to be an old school instance of cancel culture and then he sent

me a private message saying I'm sorry if I offended you you know for my comment I did not reply

to him whatsoever but what I did do was I sent an email to the deputy mayor and one of the other

board of trustees. Now look I know I commented on this before and usually on this channel we only

make positive comments about people's appearances because here on the actual justice warrior channel

we like to uplift rather than tear down like some of you out there in the comments you're

disgusting bigots that definitely 100% discuss me but am I supposed to just accept that this woman

is totally catfishing me in the other video and in this local news segment she looks like a different

person like this does not look sensible again if this were the Israeli prime minister everybody would

assume that this is an AI deep fake and this person is definitely not alive because as somebody

works with cameras every day I definitely 100% 1000% do not understand the concept of different

lighting changing images and of course different focal lengths on lenses verma webcam versus a

cell phone camera where the other video was likely filmed so obviously this is trying to make us

believe that Israel is winning the war and that makes me really truly genuinely uncomfortable

and honestly more on the mayor side because he's fighting back against the propaganda that we are

being spoon fed by this government again definitely definitely 100% these jokes will not age out

the moment or two weeks from the moment I publish this video I want to apologize for my comment

I also would like to apologize for my many friends in the LGBT community who feel disappointed in me

this administration holds a high standard of conduct and accountability and no one is above

reproach especially the mayor so as you just heard right there the mayor actually ended up

apologizing for these comments which is unfortunate because they were in fact hilarious and I

rather enjoyed this story plus all the different articles that people wrote about their outrage

related to it but if we're being perfectly honest it's probably not the best thing for a mayor to

be leaving random comments on people's Instagram to call out the appearance of other people now while

it was in fact hilarious and the guy definitely has a future as a podcaster the fact is an apology

was very likely to be the outcome because of course you have the board of trustees in this particular

area demanding an investigation even though again what the hell are you even investigating the guy

left a comment on Instagram you're gonna dig into it do freedom of information act requests

calm down to testify it's absurd it's ridiculous this is basically a non controversy that almost

nobody saw you have oversensitive catfishers that are really angry about it and again I will just

point out that we still do not have an identification on whether or not that individual is in fact a

vampire now of course one apology is never enough so the mayor actually followed up the village

is board meeting with another apology saying I want to apologize no one is above reproach especially

the mayor he added he has many friends and whatnot in the LGBT community his Instagram account is

now set to private and in a later phone interview the mayor actually ended up saying quote I meant

what I said and although I thought that was him doubling down on still asking what even is that

thing in reality that was in regards to his apology so it seems like this non-traverse or

controversy depending on how you want to look at it has ended with him yielding bending the

knee to the gay mafia and yeah it's really sad in my humbleness of humble opinions because the

story is kind of funny if we're being perfectly honest and nobody was truly hurt or harmed by this

comment but again I want to know what you guys think down in the comments below as per usual if
