McCoy's Pro Day Shakes Up Commanders' Draft Strategy

On April 1st, Washington Commanders sitting at the 7th overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft,

eyeing a bunch of hot prospects, and maybe, even trading back for more picks since they only got two in the first four rounds.

But Germain McCoy just turned heads at Tennessee's pro day, potentially shaking up their whole strategy with a monster athletic display.

Coming off a torn ACL that sidelineed him, McCoy put in the work to prove he's ready for the pros right away.

He clocked a 4.38 second 40 yard dash, hit a 38 inch vertical jump, and lead to 10 foot 7 inch broad jump, all, while looking smooth in the drills.

Daughters who question his post-endery explosion got quiet fast, and NFL analysts are buzzing, ranking him as the number two cornerback in the class.

Behind LSU's Mansour Delayne. Teams needed to see him move like that after skipping the senior bowl and combine to focus on full recovery.
