What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
Today is the day folks.
Galaine Maxwell, the bipedal serpent, is finally going on trial.
This has been decades in the making.
Jeffery Epstein has been a great partner in the world.
Going on trial.
This has been decades in the making.
Jeffery Epstein, his criminal enterprise,
and those that assisted him with his crimes,
have found a way to avoid the spotlight,
to avoid punishment for all of these years.
And finally, at least one of them is going to pay the price
permanently, hopefully.
Now, let's not get it twisted.
Let's not act like there has not been any fallout
from this whole entire debacle.
Prince Andrew, he's done, right?
Now he's never coming back to public life.
See ya.
Glenn Dubin, see ya later pal.
You're never coming back either.
He had to resign from his position.
Leon Black, another scumbag.
See ya later buddy.
You're gone.
You're not coming back.
Then you have Jess Staley.
He's also finished history.
So while some of these bigger names that we talk about
have not been charged criminally,
they are paying the price
when it comes to society and professionally.
Now again, I am not a proponent of cancel culture.
I am not a proponent of censorship or anything like that.
But when you're in a position of power such as this
and you are caught enabling somebody like Jeffrey Epstein
that's not being canceled.
That's being called out on your bullshit
and paying a price for it.
And these high profile people who have paid the price
in the wake of their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein
have deserved it every last one of them.
So I know it's easy to get caught up in being cynical
and saying, well, what the hell?
How come there's no other convictions?
And I'm the same way, right?
If you listened to the livestream last night,
I went into it for quite some time.
But it would be a lie honestly
to say that there has not been fallout from this
and that people in powerful positions
have not taken a blow.
Now, is it enough?
Does it go far enough?
No, of course it doesn't.
I'm of the mind that all of these people
should be caught up under a rico umbrella
and prosecuted.
But that certainly doesn't seem to be the case.
It doesn't seem to be what the government's
interested in doing.
So obviously what we're left with as society
is these people being knocked off of their perch
being basically torn down like a statue of
yesterday and thrown into the refuse.
And that's what you have with these high-profile people.
Again, there's no coming back for these people.
You really think Jess Staley is
ever getting a high-profile job
in the financial sector again?
Or Leon Black?
Or Glenn Dubin?
Now, Prince Andrew, again, I don't really...
I can't call it one way or the other.
I'm not like a royalist or somebody
who really knows the monarchy history.
I'll leave that to other folks
who are much more well-versed.
It certainly seems to me that the people of
the United Kingdom, the people of
England, want nothing to do with Prince Andrew.
And there certainly doesn't seem to be any kind of come back
for that clown.
So while we have to acknowledge the fact
that criminally there has not been much done here besides
Jean-Luc Brunel and Galen Maxwell,
and let's remember Jean-Luc Brunel is in France
in jail,
it is also a good thing
that these people have lost some of their
stature, that these people have lost
their positions of power.
Now, again,
should they be criminally prosecuted
if they committed crimes financially or
otherwise 100%,
will they be doubtful?
So it's left a society
to make sure that these people
aren't welcomed in positions
of a high-profile nature
or back into the banking sector.
I mean, let's be very honest.
If it wasn't for the public,
if it wasn't for you,
these people would have never lost these jobs
in the first place.
Because the companies
they don't care what these people are accused of
or the people they were hanging out with
doesn't matter to them.
All they care about is that the bottom line
is being met,
and that they're increasing their profits
at a huge clip.
As long as that stuff is being done,
the other stuff,
you're an abuser,
you have allegations against you,
none of it matters until it starts to affect
the bottom line.
So with people like Glenn Dubin
and Leon Black
and Jess Staley especially,
it was affecting the bottom line
and the other investors,
so,
while I want everybody to be rounded up
under Rico and put into prison
if they committed crimes,
we have to at least acknowledge the fact
that there have been penalties
as far as socially speaking
for some of the participants
who took part here.
With Maxwell on trial,
and you know, all of that
in the rearview mirror,
I certainly think that
it's a step in the right direction,
but it's not far enough.
And when it comes to criminal charges,
certainly not far enough in my opinion.
But be that as it may.
Today marks day one
of the Glenn Maxwell trial.
We're going to have opening statements today,
and we're obviously
going to have some reports
from reporters on the ground
and in the courthouse.
In fact, I, you know,
I've been following
a few different people
and talking to a few different people
that I trust,
who are going to be there.
So, I'll be able to pick their brains
after the proceedings today
or during a breakout or something
and get an idea of what happened.
So, later on,
when we come back and get back together
and do the update for tonight,
we can get some first-hand account
from people who were there
and witnessed the proceedings themselves.
So,
it's time, folks.
It is absolutely,
positively time for the karma train
that has left the station decades ago
to arrive at its destination.
But before all of that takes place,
why don't we take a look
at the Glenn Maxwell trial
and a little bit of
what we should expect?
This is an article
from the New York Post,
where the author is Ben Fuhrard.
Headline,
alleged Epstein-Madame
Galaine Maxwell on trial.
Here's what to expect.
Galaine Maxwell,
the accused long-time madam,
co-conspirator,
general all-around scuzzbag,
fellow child abuser
and bipedal serpent,
of pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein,
will go on trial Monday
beginning the final act
that could be the last chance at justice
for the duo's alleged victims.
All right, so, right off the bat,
alleged victims,
we all know that they were
victimized by Jeffrey Epstein, okay?
We should definitely make a note of that.
And how do we know
that they were all victimized
by Jeffrey Epstein? Well,
is a state paid out all that money, right?
If as a state thought that he was innocent,
if as a state thought that those claims were all bogus,
they wouldn't have paid out that though.
So we could drop the alleged
into Jeffrey Epstein, right?
No alleged there.
Now, Galaine Maxwell, like I've stated
a million times before, absolutely.
She has not been convicted of anything yet.
So as of now, it's just alleged.
If convicted on all counts,
Maxwell faces a maximum sentence
of 70 years in prison,
effectively a life sentence for the 59-year-old
who has been jailed in a Brooklyn lockup
since her arrest,
and also 10 years on the backside of that,
with those perjury charges in the next trial.
Maxwell faces six counts
for allegedly recruiting,
grooming, and abusing four minor girls
with Epstein at multiple locations
in the US and the UK
from 1994 through 2004.
And we also know that that scope
of a time period is so small
for the alleged crimes committed by Maxwell.
We know that she was rolling with Epstein
for a lot longer than that.
So this just started happening in 94.
And in 2004, she just decided to stop.
So I don't buy any of that.
Obviously, the prosecutors,
they believe that this is their strongest argument.
They think that this is where they have the most evidence.
So this is the route that they're going to go.
I'm talking about as an observer
of this, it is a little crazy to think
that this could be the scope
when we all know how long these two
were hanging out and active together.
Her crimes included engaging
in group sexual encounters
with Epstein and an underage girl
identified in court documents
as minor victim one from 1994
to 1997.
Prosecutors charged in the indictment
against her.
So for those three years,
according to prosecution,
Maxwell was engaging in group sexual encounters
with Epstein and the underage girl.
From 94 to 97,
so for three years,
according to this charge,
it wasn't just enabling.
It wasn't just Maxwell
as Jeffrey Epstein's fixer or socialite.
She was actually partaking in the abuse
according to some of these survivors.
And I think that that's a big part
of all of this.
She's not just an enabler.
And when her lawyer is trying
to set her up like she was a victim
of Jeffrey Epstein,
that's why it falls flat with me.
She wasn't some shrinking
violet from a broken home,
coming from a war-torn nation
where she needed Epstein.
This was a symbiotic relationship
where they were both profiting
from these moves.
So when the defense inevitably tries
to set her up as a victim
moving forward here,
it's going to be laughable, right?
And be on the lookout for it.
You know what's coming.

With each victim,
she allegedly encouraged the girls
to provide Epstein with massages
that would escalate into sexual abuse.
During massages,
with minor victim 1, for example,
the teen and Maxwell
would both engage in sex acts
with Epstein the indictment states.
The crimes she's accused of
are sensational
and will spark an emotional reaction
among jurors before evidence
in the cases presented.
Legal experts told the post.
It's one of the reasons
the cards are stacked against
Maxwell at the trial.
And why prosecutors
may win a conviction,
the expert said.
Well, in my opinion,
that plays a part in it, right?
Definitely. But I think the evidence
is enough.
And I think that there's a substantial
amount of that evidence
that's going to lead the jurors
to find out again.
I don't have any faith
in the federal judicial system.
I don't have any faith
in Judge Nathan,
or in fact in any of these other
other judges for that matter.
But I think that the evidence
is so mountainous,
so high,
and there's such an abundance of it,
you would have to be an absolute
bumbling fool
to screw this up.
But just how
the trial will play out
and if Maxwell will take the stand
in our own defense,
remains up in the air.
Legal experts
and experienced trial attorneys
who spoke to the post,
described potential picks
in the trial.
But just how
the trial will play out
and if Maxwell will take the stand
in our own defense,
remains up in the air.
It falls Maxwell's legal team
could face that trial.
As well as strategies
that may win her favor
with the jury
in their final bid
to spring the disgrace
socialite from behind bars.
So again, that's one of the biggest questions, right?
And it's what most of us are wondering.
What is going to take place
in that courtroom?
What can we expect?
What's going to happen?
We know in cases like this
it's explosive.
We know that if you're going to go after the survivors,
it is very tenuous ground for you,
a very slippery slope
as the defense.
And we know that
Maxwell's team has signal
that they're going to go that route.
So I don't think it's going to work out for them.
I'll tell you that much.
In their opening statement,
prosecutors will likely
explain the charges against her
without exaggerating or overperforming.
Said former assistant US attorney
and experienced trial lawyer
Jean Rossi.
That makes sense, right?
You don't need to overperform.
These charges are heinous enough
that them alone being explained
should be good enough.
And it also plays into the whole
salaciousness of this.
People who report on it
who have to go the extra mile
it's salacious enough as it is.
This is so crazy this story
if I didn't know as much about it as I do
I wouldn't even believe it.
So they don't need to overperform.
They just need to make their case
in a nice
uniform manner.
I expect them to be very cautious
but firm, strategic
but not inflammatory.
They will underpromise yet overperformed
at trial Rossi said
it's the other district
of New York prosecutors.
It's kind of like one of the doctor, right?
You know, he tells you
you might have six months left to live
but then you have three years
and he looks like the hero.
So they'll go in and they'll
underperform at first
and then overperform during the trial
according to Rossi.
Which is probably a good strategy, right?
Don't go crazy.
Don't try and, you know,
paint it as something it's not.
Anytime you have underage sex trafficking,
that charge alone inflames
passions and biases of any jury.
The potential biases of jurors
could actually work in Maxwell's favor,
not least because of her gender,
said Jennifer Rogers,
a lecturer at Columbia Law School.
Yeah, I don't buy that, honestly.
I mean, I guess it could work that way
if you had a
sympathetic client
but I don't see Maxwell as being that
a sympathetic client.
So I think if they're going to rely on that,
they're going to be in big trouble,
especially considering that we all know
that 38% of traffickers are women
in the first place.
Jerry's are often sympathetic
to women defendants generally
and if they can painter as a type of victim
of Epstein's as well,
that might work in their favor in this regard, she said.
But at the same time,
her gender could be a pitfall
for the defense team Rogers added.
It might not like that she is a woman
helping abuse young women,
she said. Yeah, that's a understatement.
Pretty sure that the jurors aren't going to be too fond of that.
The very fact that she was a woman
likely made the victim's survivors
trust her more.
Possibly leading to more and more serious abuse
than would otherwise have occurred.
So this sort of betrayal of her sex
might offend at least some of the jurors
Rogers added and that's definitely
a possibility.
I mean, what sort of human being
wouldn't be offended by that sort of thing.
The last thing you want to hear about
is, you know,
a woman helping groom little girls
for Mr. Egg Dick himself.
Her defense attorneys may run
into similar landmines with the jury
if they attempt to painter as a victim
the experts added.
Maxwell 59 was born in France
and raised in luxury as the daughter
of media tycoon Robert Maxwell
who died in mysterious circumstances
in 1991.
After her father's death,
Maxwell developed a persona
in the British and American media
as a wealthy socialite
who built relationships with powerful men
across the globe
in part because of her romantic involvement
with Epstein.
That was the cover story, right?
I suggest anybody who wants to see how this kind of thing works.
Check out the show of the Americans
if you're interested
in how cover stories work for assets
or for spies.
These people will act like they're
part of a community, get a job,
the whole line,
all to forward their scheme,
their plot.
And for me, I'm convinced at this point
that Maxwell and Epstein,
they've never had any kind of
romantic inclinations.
It was always something built
in a business perspective.
Maxwell and Epstein socialized
and were photographed with,
Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton,
Donald Trump, and numerous other
businessmen, politicians and media figures.
An Epstein accuser
Virginia Roberts Epstein's survivor,
okay?
Virginia Roberts has claimed she was
trafficked by Epstein to the powerful
men in his orbit,
including Prince Andrew,
the British royal denies the allegation.
This charmed lifestyle
that Maxwell led could make the argument
that she's actually a victim of Epstein,
a tough pill to swallow
for the Jerry Rossi said,
very much so.
Think about it. All of this money,
all of this power,
educated, and you want us to believe
that you were a victim,
that you couldn't have walked away from Epstein
at any time you wanted.
It's BS, it's BS story,
anyone would even give it a moments,
worth of thinking about.
It's ridiculous.
She's a socialite on steroids,
he said. She's an intelligent,
mature, forceful woman,
flying around the world on private jets,
staying in fancy hotels.
I don't think the theory that she is being used
is going to play well.
I think that would insult the intelligence
of the Jerry he added.
It certainly insults our intelligence,
doesn't it? It's an absolute joke.
The fact that she even tried to get money
from the victim's fund.
All of it is an absolute joke.
It's a black eye to the justice system
and it's laughable at best.
But her defense team could painter
as the victim of federal prosecutors
who twice failed to exact justice
on sexual predator, Jeffery Epstein.
Epstein killed himself, allegedly,
in 2019, in a lower Manhattan jail cell,
while a waiting trial
on sex trafficking charges
brought by the same prosecutor's office
that arrested Maxwell.
Well, they were committing the crimes together
in the same neck of the woods,
so it would be the same prosecutors
to go after them.
Now don't get it twisted.
I am not a fan of the SDNY.
I don't really think that they're
as great at their job as other people do
and I think that letting Maxwell
at all from any point
has been terrible.
Until his bust in 2019,
Epstein had escaped federal prosecution
for sex trafficking
because of a non-prosecution agreement
he inked with the Justice Department
in 2008.
The deal secretly settled a probe
that included 40 underage girls
and Epstein pleaded guilty to state charges
in Florida
and served just 13 months in prison.
Since Maxwell's arrest,
her attorneys have argued
repeatedly that she's escaped
to the Justice Department
and was arrested because the feds
failed to bring Epstein to trial.
It's, again, ridiculous
and it just shows you that they don't have
anything.
They don't have any kind of evidence
in my opinion that's going to get her off.
They're relying on technicalities
and evidence that they've relied on from the jump.
And you see it here,
okay, oh, she's escaped,
goat, she's a victim,
not that she didn't do this,
and then the other argument is,
oh, well, one of them or two of them
were over the age you can sense,
so it's okay.
It is just gross to me.
It's an argument long time celebrity
defense attorney, Mark Garagos,
said he expects to be raised in Maxwell's case.
There's been kind of a shift
between the monster to Maxwell,
the mastermind.
The cynic in me thinks that defense
will point that out.
Garagos told the post,
only from the legacy media and it's again
this is how the legacy media has failed you, folks.
They should have been painting Maxwell
as a monster the whole time as well
because that's what she is
according to these survivors.
But no, still socialite.
This, that, the other thing.
And the band plays on, doesn't it?
Sinically, if Epstein was still alive,
I don't think you would have seen this shift he added.
No, if Epstein was still alive,
it would have had to have been a rico case then, right?
Or at the very least, criminal conspiracy?
Maxwell has maintained her innocence
or arrest and has appealed numerous times
to be released on bail
from the Brooklyn federal lockup
where she's being held.
Her lawyers have argued repeatedly
in court filings that she's subject
to horrific conditions in the
federal polytin detention center,
including sexual abuse by guards
during daily pat down searches.
Please, that's so ridiculous.
I mean, have you been to the airport lately?
Have you seen what the TSA is up to?
Pretty sure it's about the same
that Maxwell's getting.

The conditions of her incarceration would make her decision to testify at trial,
especially risky garagos added.
She's in custody by all accounts
in a deplorable situation.
That can be mentally debilitating,
he said.
You're up against a very skilled prosecutor who's slept in their own bed,

She's already from a cycle and mental standpoint added disadvantage.

And if they put Maxwell up there,
I think it's going to work out bad for them.
Honestly.
If Maxwell does take the stand,
which is her decision,
it will likely make or break the trial for her Jennifer Rogers added.
In any case where the defendant testifies,
it tends to become the focal point
for the jury.
And if she doesn't do well,
it will be devastating to her case,
she told the post.
In an interview with the Associated Press,
published Friday,
Maxwell's brother, Ian Maxwell,
said her trial has been exaggerated in the media
and designed to break her.
That's how the federal system works, Mr. Maxwell.
Sorry, my friend.
Welcome to the party.
It's the most overripe trial of the century
without a doubt, Ian Maxwell said.
This is designed to break her.
I can't see on any other way to read it.
And she will not be broken because
she believes completely in her innocence
and she is going to give the best
account she can he continued.
If there are any fireworks at the trial,
they're likely to come in the prosecutor's
closing statement, said Jean Rossi.
They'll stick to the charges in the opening.
Then in the closing,
they can go full throttle
and give a full court press he said.
Closings could be Armageddon.
Well, there you have it.
And that is what we're looking at, folks.
As we get ready for this trial to kick off
and get underway.
For me, like I've said,
I planned on going there for the whole thing,
