What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles.
One of the biggest issues that you run into when you're looking at a situation like the
one we're looking at with Epstein is that the information out there is not complete.
And a lot of times it's very difficult to track down what you're looking for.
Well over the last few weeks I've been able to get my hands on some new depositions that
we haven't went through yet and to say that they're fascinating is quite the understatement.
So the first deposition that we're going to look at is one from 2009 and it's a deposition
that involves Bradley Edwards who was a lawyer to a lot of the survivors and Larry Vassoski
who was one of two main pilots for Jeffrey Epstein.
And the format we're going to use is the same one that we always use.
When I say question that will be Bradley Edwards asking the question and when that
question's answered, it'll be Larry Vassoski that is answering.
Now if there's anybody else who interjects like Mr. Critten or Mr. Reinhart or both lawyers
for Larry Vassoski, I'll make sure to point that out so we keep everything framed up
and keep it moving.
So with that said, why don't we dive into this deposition of Larry Vassoski?
October 15th 2009.
Mr. Edwards, all right, they're upon having been first duly sworn or affirmed was examined
and testified as follows, Larry Vassoski.
The witness, yes I do.
Brad Edwards, can you tell us your first name for the record?
Answer Lawrence Vassoski, Jr.
Question and Mr. Vassoski, have you ever had your deposition taken before?
Mr. Vassoski, no.
Question, okay, here's the process.
I'm going to ask you questions.
You're going to give us answers.
Try to give us answers that we all understand that the court reporter can take down such
as yes or no or some other verbal answer that we can understand.
It's easy when we get in a casual conversation to nod or shake your head and the court reporter
is not writing pictures or anything else.
Answer, I understand.
Question, the other thing is, and I've been accused of this in other depositions, I don't
know if it's true or not, but I need to wait until you finish answering the question and
you need to wait until I finish asking the question.
Answer, so you're not allowed to interrupt me, question, and you're not allowed to interrupt
me.
Answer, like I just did, question, right?
Mr. Criton, carriage is snickered when you said you've been accused because she recognizes
it's true.
Sadly, Edwards, I don't know what the meaning of her snickering was.
Mr. Edwards, for what it's worth, if you don't understand the question or that I've asked
or if it's a bad question, I don't want you to guess.
Give me the best answer to the best of your knowledge, and if you need me to rephrase
it, I will.
Basaski, okay, question, okay, tell me your current address.
He gives him the address, question, how long have you lived there?
Answer, approximately nine years.
Question, okay, and who do you live there with?
Answer, my wife, question, all right, how many children do you have?
Answer two, question, how old are they?
Answer 15 and 18, question, and is the 18-year-old is not living with you?
Answer, she's off at school, question, okay, what school is that?
Answer, Syracuse, question, who is your employer right now?
Answer, NES, LLC, question, how long has NES, LLC been your employer?
I'm guessing I'd say back to 91.
I have to do the math, but 17, 18 years, question, has that been your only employer since 1991?
Answer yes, question, and has that been your only source of income since 1991?
Answer yes, question, and what is NES, LLC?
Answer, I don't really know, I mean, it's the company that my check comes from, question,
what do you do for NES, LLC?
That results in them paying you.
Answer, I'm chief pilot for the aircraft, and helicopters, question, and do you have
a specific boss or somebody you answer to at NES, LLC?
Answer several people would call to schedule flights from the office, being it either
Mr. Epstein or, you know, I would just get a phone call and they would schedule a trip.
Answer, okay, aside from Mr. Epstein, who else would be there that would call to schedule
flights?
Answer, Leslie, question, Leslie who?
Answer, Leslie Groff, question, once the last time you talked to Leslie Groff, answer
probably two weeks ago, three weeks ago?
Question by Edwards, and where is she currently?
Bososki, I believe in New York, is where I spoke to her on the phone last.
Question, what's the telephone number that you call to reach Leslie Groff?
He gives them the number, and then the same for the address.
And the address is 301E663, question, and it's my understanding from other depositions,
that there are also apartments in that 301E663 building.
Answer, yes, question, and Mr. Epstein either owns or leases or rents certain of those
apartments, is that your understanding?
Mr. Critten, form speculation, the witness, I'm only speculating, I don't, to my understanding,
I don't know.
Bradley Edwards, do you know other people that live in that building?
Answer, well it would be myself, Dave Rogers, well when you say live, explain, question,
when you're saying yourself, and Dave Rogers, to that he's cut off by Larry Fososki,
see we don't live there.
I mean, we have, we would stay there when we would have a trip.
Bradley Edwards, question, okay, when you would fly to New York and land in New York,
the place where you would stay, is that 301E663, answer, yes, that's correct, question, that's
also a location you've indicated in this deposition, that is the office for NES, LLC, answer, yes.
Question, what floor suite number is NES, LLC in?
Answer, I believe, well, I don't know what NES, LLC has an officer.
I know that's where Leslie has the phone number where I call, so I don't know for a fact
if NES, LLC has an officer, question, and what suite number then would Leslie, graph,
sit in to answer the telephone number at?
Answer, I think it's 10F, question, and when you stay at 301E663, what suite number or
apartment number do you stay in?
Answer by Vasoski, 12C, question, and how about Dave Rogers, where does Eastay answer?
I'm guessing because it's the same time since we've been there, 10B, but don't quote me
on that question, who are the other people in that building that, you know, stay there
on a regular basis, fairly regular basis?
Answer, I've seen people in the elevator that, you know, have been on the airplane case
in point, maybe Sarah Kellen, but I don't know for a fact that she lives there or anybody
else for that matter.
Question, okay, when you say that you've seen Sarah Kellen on the elevator, he's cut
off by Vasoski, I can only assume that she lives there, I don't know for a fact, I'm
trying to be honest and factual for you, so I couldn't honestly say if I knew she
lives there or not.
Question, where do you think that Sarah Kellen lives?
Answer, I would think she lives there.
Question, you don't have a better location?
Answer, I don't have another location.
Question, anybody else?
Answer, not to my knowledge.
I mean, I'd only be guessing that people will live in that building, that, you know,
I don't have any facts to prove that they actually live there.
I mean, I don't think you want me to guess.
Question, well, NES, LLC, would you say that the owner or controller of that company is
Jeffrey Epstein, Mr. Critten, Form, the witness?
I don't know that for a fact.
Brad the Edwards, Jeffrey Epstein is somebody you've indicated that you've worked for for
17 or 18 years, right?
Answer, yes.
Question, and over the 17 or 18 years, you've become personally close with them as well,
correct?
Mr. Critten objects again, Form, Vesosky answers.
I don't understand how you mean close to find that.
Brad Edwards, well, more so than just a pilot that takes them from point A to point B.
Answer by Vesosky, that's my job.
Question, right?
But you know I'm on a personal level and that you've had personal conversations that don't
necessarily deal with flying from point A to point B, isn't that right?
Mr. Critten, Form, Vesosky, more specific, meaning we talk about cars, I mean, does that
make you a personal friend?
Question, by Brad the Edwards, have you ever gone to his house to eat?
Answer, no.
Question, have you ever been to his New York home?
Answer, yes.
Question, by Edwards, how many occasions have you been to his New York home?
With this, Mr. Critten once again objects, object to form.
The witness, which is Vesosky, we normally pick up luggage in the lobby, so it would
probably be quite often, anytime we depart out of New York, we stop by the house and pick
up luggage and head to the aircraft.
Other than picking up luggage, have you been to his home to visit or socialize with them?
Answer, not to socialize, no.
Question, have you been to the Palm Beach home?
Answer, too.
Question, to Mr. Epstein's Palm Beach house?
Answer, right.
Question, have you been there?
Answer, yes.
Question, have you been inside?
Answer, yes.
Question, and how many occasions have you been inside that home?
Answer, the same as far as picking up luggage, that would be on a regular basis, you know,
for the parcher.
We wouldn't always go to the house to pick up the luggage, but it made it easier for
loading the aircraft, getting it done prior to the parcher.
Question, is that the only reason that you've ever gone to the Palm Beach home over the
last 18 years is to pick up luggage?
Answer, no.
Question, what other reasons have you gone there?
Answer, I've set up several home theater equipment, you know, televisions and such.
Question, is that another hobby or job or something of yours?
Answer both.
Question, does he pay you for that?
Answer, not any more than my salary.
Question, what's your current salary?
Answer at this time, $180,000.
Question, and what are you paid $180,000 to do?
Answer, manages aircraft.
Question, and what is that until?
Answer, scheduling maintenance, anything that has to do with any flight, whether it be
weather, flight planning, time and distance to and from a location, any logistics involved
in running an operation that has aircraft.
Question, in addition to the $180,000, does he give you bonuses as well?
Answer, there have been Christmas bonuses.
Question, over the years you mean there have been Christmas bonuses?
Answer yes.
Question, is $180,000 the most he's ever paid you?
Answer no.
Question, all right.
Were you making when was the last time that you were making an amount different than $180,000?
Answer last year.
Question, that would be 2008.
Answer, that would be correct.
Yeah, we all took a salary cut, I don't know the exact date, it might have been 2008 last
year.
It was last Christmas, we all took a 10% salary cut.
Question, do you know why?
Answer, economic reasons, question, and to told you that you were going to have to take
the salary cut.
Answer, Darren Indyke, question, and did you ask for an explanation?
Answer, he said it was due to the economic reasons throughout the country.
Question, okay, so in 2008.
How much were you being paid by NES LLC?
Answer $200,000, question, and is $200,000 the most you ever made from NES LLC?
Answer yes sir, question, and on top of the $200,000 did you get a bonus that year as well?
Mr. Reinhart, which you're are you talking about?
Mr. Edwards 2008, the witness, that year I think we skipped Christmas bonuses that year,
the last bonus might have been 2007.
Mr. Edwards, if you ever got a bonus from Mr. Epstein, and I'm only deriving this from
you using the term Christmas bonus, answer holiday bonus.
Question, am I correct to assume, sorry, am I correct to assume that if you got a bonus,
there only was one, and it was at the end of the year around the holidays?
Answer yes.
Question okay, and how much was the 2007 holiday bonus?
Answer, I'd have to ask my wife to be honest, I haven't seen my paycheck in 27 years,
so I believe it was 10 G's.
Question, and in 2007, you also made $200,000.
Answer yes, question, okay, answer, with a question mark, I'm trying to be as accurate
as I can, but yes.
Question something pretty close to that?
Answer yes sir, question, okay, so with the bonus, it was $210,000 roughly.
Answer right, question, okay, and how long were you making that salary?
Answer probably, he was very religious about giving annual increases, so I would probably
say 2006, you know, it was, we would get an increment, increases of 5 or 10,000 each
year, so I would say 2006, so it graduated, you know, progressive.
Question, okay, do you remember the progression, if we start in 1991, do you remember roughly
what the progression was up through 2007, 2008, when you were making $200,000?
Answer no, I wouldn't know the progression.
Question, okay, do you remember what you were making from, and was NES LLC the company
paying you back in 1991?
Answer, I don't know, I don't remember, let me say it that way, I don't remember.
Question, okay, how long do you remember NES LLC being the payer of your check?
Answer, personally two years, because personally I've never seen my paycheck, so I don't
know what it's written on the top of it.
Question, that would be something that only your wife would see, I'm assuming, answer
your right, since she's probably wouldn't know the answer either because she's looking
at the right column and not the top column.
Question right, when's the last time you had heard the name NES LLC, that company, answer
five, six years, and even questioned what it stood for, and I think to this day I couldn't
answer that honestly, what it stands for.
Question, okay, but is your understanding that the NES LLC is paying you for the work
that you do as a pilot or maintain the planes for Jeffrey Epstein?
Answer, to my understanding, yes, all right folks, we're going to wrap up episode one
right here, and in the next episode we're going to pick up where we left off with the
deposition of Larry Vesosky.
All of the information that goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
That's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles.
In this episode, we're picking up where we left off with the Larry Vesosky deposition
from 2009.
Question, okay, throughout your career, with or as a pilot for Jeffrey Epstein since 91,
has there ever been a pilot or been a time when you believe you were paid directly from
Jeffrey Epstein personally versus some company, answer, not to my knowledge, no.
And okay, so whether it was NES LLC or some other company, it was all of a sudden a company
name to the best of your knowledge, answer exactly yes.
Question, and back in 91, do you remember approximately how much you were being paid that
year?
Answer 55 or 60,000 is maybe what I started.
Question, okay, answer, you're going back a long ways.
Question, yes.
Answer, I'm trying.
Question, your relationship goes back that far.
That's why I chose that year.
Answer right.
Question, okay, did you get your bonuses even back that far?
Answer yes, sir.
Question, and do you remember what your bonuses were approximately?
Answer, 5,000, I mean that kind of, that was the starting point.
Question, okay, in addition to monetary bonuses, were there ever gifts or any other type
of compensation that NES LLC or Jeffrey Epstein provided you?
Answer yes.
Question, and does that over the span of 18 years?
Yes, question, okay, tell me what some of those items are.
Answer, I remember one specifically was a pool heater, question, excuse me, answer a
pool heater, question, what was that?
Answer 95-ish, answer, okay, why did you get that?
Answer, I had a pool built, and I didn't have a heater, and he kind of laughed at me saying
how can you have a pool without a heater?
So he says, you ought to have a heater, question, where were you when you had this conversation
answer in the airplane, question, how did he know that you had built a pool?
Vesosky, just in general conversation, question, you were having a conversation with Jeffrey
Epstein, answer yes, question, and this is something that was happening on the airplane,
this conversation, answer during the flight.
Yeah, it would have been like on cruise or something.
Question, okay, when you say during the flight, does that, and to this, he's cut off by
Vesosky again, you're going back a long way.
When I understand, we're talking about 95 right now, answer yes, question, you're having
a conversation with Jeffrey Epstein who was flying the plane, answer the autopilot, and
there's two crew, question, okay, so you're back in the back portion, or is he up in the
cockpit?
Answer up in the cockpit, question, okay, Jeffrey Epstein sometimes comes up there, answer
yeah, just in between the two pilot seats.
Question, all right, is that something that was typical to have conversations like that?
Answer, uh-huh, question yes, answer yes, question, and would those conversations be directed
mainly with you or with the other pilots as well?
Answer mainly me, question, I mean, you kind of described as the main guy or the main
pilot when you consider that pretty much your role, right?
Answer well, that's chief pilot, question, but more so than that, if there's going to
be a casual conversation about a pool or a pool heater or whatever, it's going to be with
you most likely if he's going to be talking to the pilots, right?
And to that, Mr. Critton objects again, form, the witness, right, at words, okay, and
you feel like over the years your relationship with Jeffrey Epstein has been pretty good,
answer yeah, question, and you've been closer to him over the years as you've grown to
know him.
Mr. Critton, form, witness, the same throughout the same year, we never got any closer
than 91, then I am with him now, I'm very professional at what I do, and I know the
line between being professional and thinking you're somebody's buddy.
Edwards, okay, so that's not something that you think you are, you don't think you're
his buddy, answer no sir, question, do you consider yourself as friend, answer, I believe
so.
Question, do you think he considers you as friend, answer, I think so, question, all right,
what makes you think that?
Mr. Critton speculation, Vesosky, he's always been kind and respectful, Mr. Edwards, ever
invited you to dinner, Vesosky, no sir, question, have you ever associated or socialized with
him during the day at any of those homes?
Answer only during business reasons, question, okay, what are the other are the places that
you believe that Mr. Epstein owns?
I know we've talked about Manhattan, the Manhattan house, but I've read articles about Palm Beach
Mansion, but what about other places that you are familiar with?
Mr. Critton, form, predicate, speculation, Vesosky, to answer it honestly, I don't know
specifically what he owns or that he owns any of the residences to be honest, I would
assume that he owns, so if you want me to answer honestly, I don't know that he owns
any of the other, Mr. Edwards, okay, well, what would be the basis for your assumption
that he owns the home in Palm Beach?
Answer, he goes there, but I don't assume, you don't have to own a house to go to it.
Question, and not only goes does he owe there, you're aware that he spends the night there,
he resides there sometimes, correct?
Answer yes, question, when he's in Palm Beach, answer, he sleeps, question sleeps, right?
When he's in New York, do you know where he sleeps?
Answer no, question, but you've been to a particular house in New York that's very large house
that we've all read about that you've picked up luggage at, right?
Answer yes, sir, Mr. Critten, form, Edwards and that home, do you know that?
I know that you're saying that you haven't done a public record search to make sure that
Jeffrey Epstein owns it?
Answer yeah, question, but you assume that he does answer, assuming question, that's
where he sleeps when he's in New York, Mr. Critten objects again, form, the witness I assume,
grab the Edwards, that's where his luggage is when you pick it up.
Answer doesn't mean he owns it, question, right, but that's where it is.
Answer yes, sir, question, do you know of anybody else who owns that home in New York?
Answer no, question, okay, have you ever been to his ranch in New Mexico?
Answer yes, to this Mr. Critten objects again, form, Brad Edwards, how many times have
you been to his ranch in New Mexico?
Critten once again, objects, form and predicate, Vesosky answers, a guesstimate 50 times
only due to the fact that we would fly there, Brad Edwards, and where would you land?
Answer depending upon the aircraft, either Albuquerque or Santa Fe.
Question are those private airports, answer public, question, public, okay, are there any private
landing places where you would land any planes in New Mexico?
Answer there are, question that you have landed, answer, that I have, question, his airplane,
answer yes, question where, answer, we have a 4500 foot strip on the ranch.
Question when you say we, yourself and somebody, answer the company, question what company?
Answer well I should say, I see where you're going with that, the ranch owns, whoever
owns the ranch, the ranch has a runway on it.
And okay, so you've landed an airplane on that runway, answer that ranch yes, question
how many times do you think you've landed there?
Answer ten, question all right, and you've been inside the ranch, just interject a private
runway.
What does that mean to you?
Well, privacy, right?
Can you imagine what Jeffrey Epstein was doing in Zorro Ranch?
Answer yes, Mr. Critten, form to the last question, Mr. Reinhart, can you clarify
the physical ranch or the residents or the structure on the ranch, Mr. Edwards?
I don't have a good visual appreciation for it.
Question, why don't you describe it in your own words, what this ranch that we are talking
about looks like, and I've heard it referred to as Zorro Ranch, have you heard that?
Answer I've heard that, question that's the ranch we're all familiar with, we're talking
about where the runway is and everything else, answer yes, question, describe it in your
own words, the landscaping of the ranch, what do we have on it?
Answer, there's a house up on the hill, a large house, question how big, big, I've read
40,000 square feet in the paper, question, have you been to it?
Yes, question, does that seem like it's feasible, approximately 40,000?
Answer I think so, question, what else do we have on it?
Answer, there's a compound that has kind of a motel room type, they call it a bunkhouse,
question, where's the bunkhouse located?
Answer at the entrance to the ranch, question okay, and what is that primarily used for?
Answer for people who that work at the ranch, they reside there, it's also a place where
anybody that travels on the airplane would stay, it's kind of like you know a hotel room.
Answer and how far is that from the first house that you described, the 40,000 square
foot house?
Answer it's probably four miles, question okay, so the Zorro Ranch is a rather large area
of property, answer yes, question, and how many times, I know we just talked about how
many times you've been to the house, but how many times have you been on the ranch in
New Mexico, the Zorro Ranch?
Answer 30 to 50 times over the years, that's a guesstimate, question, is that over when
was the first time that you went to the ranch?
A guess, I don't know when it was actually our first trip, but 95, 94, question okay,
and do you believe that Jeffrey Epstein and or a corporation owned or controlled by him
to be the sole owner of that ranch?
Answer, I don't know any of those details, question, have you ever talked to Jeffrey Epstein
about who owns that ranch?
Answer no, question, do you know of anybody else who may own that ranch?
Answer not to my knowledge, question other than Jeffrey Epstein, do you know of anybody
else who regularly stays when they're in New Mexico?
Answer not to my knowledge.
Question, does Jeffrey Epstein stay there when you're in New Mexico?
Answer he has, question, and he has a key to the place.
Answer, I don't know if there's a key, question one way or another, he gets in, right?
Answer yes, sir, question any sleeps there?
Answer yes, question okay, answer, I assume he does, question, I assume he sleeps.
I do, I think, question okay, Mr. Critten, this is really Edward's just keeps on plowing.
Other than the pool heater in 95, have you ever received any other gifts on top of the
compensation from Mr. Epstein?
Answer, I did get land on the ranch to build a house, question, what do you mean you got
land on the ranch?
Answer, he did it me land to build a home, question, when was that?
Answer ten years ago at least, question, do you know if he's ever deeded anyone else
in this world, land on the ranch to build a home?
Answer not to my knowledge, question, why did he do that?
Answer, we would vacation out there and my wife fell in love with New Mexico and we
were looking for property.
Question and did you talk to him about that?
Answer yes, he knew that I was aware, that he knew that he was looking for a home and
he says, well I have so much land, I could give you a spot to build on, so I build the
house.
Question, so how long has a home actually been on that property?
Answer nine years, question and that's a home that you own?
Question yes sir, question and that's a home that was when you say I own it, is there
a mortgage on it or did he give it to you free and clear?
Answer no no, I paid for the house, I made payments on it.
Question all right, so what did he actually give you?
Answer forty acres of land, question that you did not have to pay for, answer, you know
I'd have to go back and look, I think I had to pay something for it, I don't remember.
Question, how often have you visited that piece, that home that you own?
Answer, my wife would spend summers out there with the kids.
Question okay but that's on Zoro Ranch?
Answer yes, question so in addition to the fifty or so times you've been to Zoro Ranch,
you've been to your property that's on Zoro Ranch.
Answer yes, which over the years it's once a year visit, so I mean it's included in
the fifty times that I've been there.
Question okay and did you have a conversation with him that led him to giving you or
gifting you the forty acres?
Answer, we talked about it because he knew I was looking for a home out there.
Question okay and gifting you that land did you consider yourself at that point in time
to be more than just his pilot?
As more of a friend?
Answer no, you're using the word gifting, I paid for the land, I don't recall what it
was, but you use the word friend, I don't know what sure he was a friend I mean, question
well did he give David Rogers any land out in New Mexico's ranch?
Answer no, question okay, when you said you paid for it, I thought I asked that question
did you pay for the forty acres?
I thought your answer was I don't know, I'd have to go and look, are you saying now that
you did pay for that land?
Answer, I don't remember if there was a sum of money, it was just for you know the legal
purpose of a transfer of ownership of the land.
And okay, if it was a substantial amount of money, that's something that you would
have remembered?
Answer, oh exactly, no, it was not a substantial amount.
Question, do you remember approximately how much money you had to give Jeffrey for the
land?
Answer, I would only be guessing, I might have been five dollars to my knowledge, I don't
remember.
Question, okay, so what I'm saying is he gave you the land, he may have actually given
you the land.
Answer sure, question okay and to the best of your knowledge, he's never given anyone
else land out there, answer, not to my knowledge.
To that Mr. Critten, once again, objects to the form, alright folks, we're going to wrap
up right here and in the next episode we're going to pick up where we left off.
All of the information that goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles.
In this episode we're going to write back to the Larry Vesosky deposition from 2009.
And once again it's Brad Edwards asking the questions and Larry Vesosky doing the answering.
Question, okay I don't want to split hairs, you obviously thought about that answer before
giving it.
What other items are you thinking about that he's given to you or cut you a discount
on or otherwise that you feel was compensation for you working for him?
Answer by Vesosky, I drive a company car.
Question, okay what kind of car?
Answer, a Hummer, question you say a company car that's owned by NES, LLC, answer, no
I think the registration has Zorro development on it.
Question, what Zorro development?
Answer, I believe that's the ranch or at least it has the name of the ranch.
I don't know what the entity is, question and it's your understanding that that's the company
vehicle?
Answer, yes, question and where is that vehicle primarily garage?
Answer at my home, question in West Palm Beach or in Zorro Ranch.
Answer, no here in West Palm Beach, question alright and is there only one company vehicle
that you're issued?
Answer, yes sir, question and is that something that was that you did not have to pay for?
Answer, no it's just something I drive, I mean it's not titled to me or anything like
that it's just a car.
Question alright you've worked for him for 18 years, I don't even know how long the Hummer
would last but presumably that's not the car you've had over the 18 years.
Have you always had a company car?
Answer, no I haven't, question, when did you get the Hummer?
Answer probably three years ago, question, do any other members of Mr. Epstein's piloting
team have company cars?
Answer, no.
Question only you, answer yes, question and do you know how that decision was made to get
you a company vehicle?
Answer, no, question.
What do you use the vehicle for?
Answer, to and from the airport, question alright, do you use it for personal reasons also?
Answer I guess so, question, I mean that's your primary vehicle, answer yes or I drive
my wife's car, question which is it?
Answer, type of car, question yes, answer, a Mercedes, question and is that something
that was also a gift from Mr. Epstein?
Answer, no sir, question what type of Mercedes is it?
Answer, AML430, 10 years old, question alright, are there any other items, company car,
the land in New Mexico, the pool heater, any other items that Mr. Epstein has given you
over time as compensation or award or anything else?
Answer, no sir, question and your only income is from Mr. Epstein and his companies.
Answer correct, question okay and it's been that way since 91?
Answer yes, question, how did you meet Mr. Epstein or become involved with him in
1991?
Answer, we heard at the airport that Mr. Epstein was purchasing an airplane when Dave Rogers
and myself were living in Columbus and we had the opportunity to interview with him and
we did and we got the job.
Question and this is before he owned the airplane, answer yes.
Question and which airplane was that?
Answer the hawker, question does he still have the hawker?
Answer no, question, how long did he have the plane?
Answer five years, guesstimate four or five years, question, so sometime in the mid-90s
answer yes, question, did you keep any type of logs or documentation as to who would have
been flying on the airplane if you transported any individuals?
Answer, the same logs as you possess are the flight logs, question okay, answer that standard
for the industry, question so that's something that you kept or that Dave Rogers kept, answer
Dave Rogers, question okay, if there are any documents out there with names of passengers,
any of the flights involving plane zoned or controlled by Jeffery Epstein and or his
companies, those would be documents in the possession of Dave Rogers and not yourself.
Answer, the corporation actually they belong to, question okay, and to this Mr. Reinhart
interjects, that was a compound question, you might want to split it in half, Mr. Edward's
okay, question what documents do you believe exist that indicate names of individuals that
have been passengers on Mr. Epstein's airplanes, Mr. Reinhart are we going all the way back
to 91 to the present, Mr. Edward sure, the witness Vesosky you're talking about the
Hawker, Edwards, any airplane what documents would there be, answer there they would be
the same flight logs and passenger manifest would exist, question and are either of those
required, answer the flight logs required for the aircraft to track time and landings,
question and then the flight log is a required that you designate the names of the passengers,
answer no, question that's just something that Dave Rogers did on his own, answer everybody
does that, it's more for internal revenue, question okay, if something happens they know
who is on the plane, answer exactly wait and balance, question have you ever kept any
flight logs that have names of people on the airplane, answer when you say kept I have
filled out flight logs or the passenger manifest yes, question by kept, I mean maintained
to where they're in your possession either on paper or computer, answer we keep to that
Reinhart interjects can you differentiate a flight log from the pilot's log that we showed
you earlier, Mr. Edwards okay, question I'm talking about I don't know what's what it's
called a flight log, a pilot's log or any kind of log, answer they are different yes,
Edwards yeah, I'm asking about have you kept or do you have any documentation that would
indicate the names of passengers that have flown on any of Jeffrey Epstein's planes, answer
no, question either in the form of paper or on a computer, answer no, question makes that
easy, answer okay, question and 91 were you the chief pilot, answer no, question somebody
else was the chief pilot, answer yes, question who's that, answer Dave Rogers, question
alright at well point in time, do you become chief pilot and switch with Dave Rogers,
answer six years ago, five years ago, question why answer professionalism, technique, question
what do you mean by that, answer the way Dave would operate an aircraft Jeffrey knew
the difference when I was flying and when Dave was flying, question how do you know the
difference, answer just question he told you, answer yes, he knew the difference that if
he never came up front, he knew who was flying and who landed, question and what was the
conversation that he had with you that resulted and you become chief pilot, switch in positions
with Dave Rogers, answer Jeffrey would always critique Dave's flying capabilities and
I tried to help Dave and explain to him what Jeffrey likes and doesn't like and Jeffrey
also conveyed these likes and dislikes and Dave maintain continuing with certain piloting
techniques that were just not comfortable to passengers and this went on through the
years and Jeffrey just got tired of it one day, question what specifically were Jeffrey
Epstein's likes and dislikes with respect to the flight of the plane, Criton interrupts
here, let me put in a form here, but I don't know what this is or what it has to do with
anything in the case, Edwards, I understand that, Bob, Criton, I want to use this for
some other depositions where we we've gone beyond the scope.
The witness, Vsosky, the case in point, the last straw, was there was a technique called
quiet flying where you would retread the throttles well short of the runway and pretty
much glide the airplane in. Well, if you don't do it correctly, you have to spool the
engines up just prior to touching down because you're losing the airspeed and that's uncomfortable
sound and feeling for the passengers. Thinking that you're not going to make the runway
and it was a continuous practice of Dave doing that to be neighbor friendly as opposed
to being passenger comfort friendly. Edwards, question, okay, answer, hence the transfer
of power. Question has he ever discussed with you where he wants you to be, whether that
is stay in the cockpit when I have people on the airplane or don't intermingle with the
passengers or anything else? Answer, he's never stated that to us. Mr. Reinhardt, could
you classify which he you're talking about? Mr. Edwards, I'm talking about Jeffrey
Epstein. Mr. Reinhardt, okay. Question, do you understand that? Answer, yes. Question,
it's my understanding that, well, tell me other than the hawker, what other airplanes
have you flown for Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, Gulf Stream. Question, does he still have
that plane? Answer, yes, sir. Question, how big of a plane is that? Answer, large
corporate jet. Question, how long has he had it? Answer, 14 years, 13, 14 years. Question
and other than the Gulf Stream, what other airplanes does he have? Answer, when you say he,
obviously, these are company owned. Question, Jeffrey Epstein or his companies? Answer, Boeing
727. Question, well, I know that's a very large airplane. I think that's been described
by other people, so I'm not going to have you do that. But there's partitions in that
airplane in the back room of that airplane, right? Answer, yes. Question, several partitions
to where if the pilot comes out of the cockpit, you don't necessarily see all the passengers.
Answer, yes. Question, is that true? Answer, yes. Question, okay. Mr. Reinhardt, keep
her voice up so she can hear you. The witness, oh, Mr. Reinhardt and so Mr. Willitz can
hear you. Brad Edwards, other than the Gulf Stream and the Boeing and the Hawker, what
other airplanes has Jeffrey Epstein owned over the years? Answer, that's it. Question,
and currently still owns or the company is associated with them on the Gulf Stream and
the Boeing? Answer, yes. Question, and in the past two years, have you flown those two
airplanes? Answer, just for routine flights to keep them loose or, you know, you know what
I mean? Question, have those two airplanes been flown by anyone else in the last two
years? Answer, no. Question, have those two airplanes been flown in the last two years
for any reason other than routine maintenance type flights? Answer, we've had one, two
flights I think in the past two years. Question, and what were the purposes and who was
on those flights? Answer, one flight I believe we went to Sebring and another flight we
went to NASA Bahamas. Question, and who did you go to NASA Bahamas with? Answer, I'd
have to look at the flight log, but I think it was Sarah's story and Nadia, I believe.
I think it was the three passengers to the best of my knowledge. Question, and it's my
understanding that little saying James is an island that Jeffrey Epstein owns or controls
Mr. Critten form. Fasaski, I don't know that he owns it. Brad Edwards, has he ever been
to an island called little saying James? Answer, yes. Question, and have you been there with
Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, I've been there when he was there. Question, have you flown
on an airplane with him to that destination? Answer, no. Question, all right, when you
say you've been there, when he was there, how did that come about? Answer, we flew into
St. Thomas, and then we flew to little saying James and a helicopter. Question, and do
you fly the helicopter as well? Answer, yes. Question, how many helicopters are owned or
controlled by Jeffrey Epstein and or corporations associated with them? Mr. Critten, I object
to form. Fasaski answers, at this time one, Brad Edwards, and was that helicopter flown
in the last two years? Answer, just for routine maintenance, question, and when you, and
let's say when Sarah, Kellyn, and story cows, and Nadia flew to NASA, do you know the purpose
of that trip? Answer, no. Question, how long did you stay? Answer, five hours. Question,
did you pick anyone up? Answer, no. Meeting passengers? Question, yes. Answer, no. Question,
what happened? You landed the airplane and then what? Answer, the passengers left. Dave and
I went and had lunch. The passengers showed up and we came back. Question, have you ever stayed
at the home that is on little saying James? Answer, no. Question, have you known Jeffrey Epstein
to stay at the home? Answer, I don't know that for a fact. Question, do you believe that he is the
owner or controller or as some interest in the home or the island of little saying James? Mr. Critten
form. Fasaski, I have no knowledge of that being a fact. Question, by Edwards, you have no
belief that that's a fact. Answer exactly. Question, when you say that you've been there,
when he was there, how many times has that occurred? Answer, estimating 100 times. Question,
okay. Answer, trying to give an honest answer. Edwards, okay. And in the approximate,
I'm not going to hold you to 100 times, but in the approximate 100 times. Answer, sure. Question,
for what period of time are we talking about? Answer, during what period of time? Question, right.
Answer, let's see, when did all this happen? What, 2007? So eight years prior to whenever he
stopped flying. So question 98 or 99? Answer, yeah, I guess so. Question, I mean, that sounds like
it's right. Answer, sounds about right. Yeah, don't hold me to it again. Answer, all right.
You're going back a long way. Question, so from approximately the 98, 99 time frame,
when Jeffrey Epstein would fly to little saying James, would you be the pilot? Answer, yes.
Question, okay. And you say you've been there. I thought you just told me that you've been there
at the same time he was there. But then I thought the subsequent question was well,
where you want the flight with them. And I thought your answer was no. Maybe I misunderstood that.
Answer, no. You said the question was, have you ever flown
to the island? We never landed on his island. We landed in St. Thomas. Question got it. Answer,
I was just trying to be exact. Question, thank you. Answer, it's a small island. Question, okay.
So how is it that when Mr. Epstein wants to go to little saying James? What is the path that
you take to actually get to the island of little St. James? I don't understand the question,
Vesosky asks. Question, well, you just told me you fly the airplane to St. Thomas, right? Answer
right. Question. And then what? Answer, then sometimes I would get the helicopter or he could take
a boat to the island, but normally the helicopter is located on St. Thomas. I'd fly up the helicopter,
come pick him up, drop him at the island, and come back to St. Thomas. Question, and when he
stays on St. James, you drop him off on St. James. I suppose you're going to tell me you don't know
if he stays there or not. Answer exactly. Question, but do you stay? Answer, I don't. I mean,
he's cut off by Edwards. Well, he either stays there or someone else picks him up in a helicopter
or he swims away. Answer, correct. Question, okay. You stay on St. Thomas. Answer, yes.
Question, okay, is there a place that you've stayed in St. James ever? Answer, no, never.
Question, so in the hundred or more times that you've been to the island,
is it my understanding that each of these times you've been there to drop off Jeffery Epstein
or any passengers and you immediately left and gone to St. Thomas? Answer, yes, sir.
Question, you've never been inside the home that's located on St. James? Answer, yes, I've been
inside the home. Question, how many times have you been inside the home? Answer, I mean 10, 15
times. Question, and for what occasion? Answer, I've set up the theater system that's in the living room.
Question, okay. Answer, so it would be there to hook up a TV and work or a stereo.
All right, folks, we're going to wrap up right here. In the next episode, we're going to pick up
where we left off. And if you think that Larry Vassoski's deposition is revealing, wait till we get
around Adriana Ross. All of the information that goes with this episode can be found in the description
