Melbourne flight terror; NSW screen-time ban; Bali cliff fall

You've come to the right place. Yeah, exactly. So, well, woman has sparked this, this online kind of fuel roll, because she's had an argument with her husband. Her husband was watching Love Island. Okay, turns out she got the show wrong when she was telling other people and said, which you said, oh gosh, it watches this crappy show. Love Island, it wasn't Love Island, it was the only way as Essex. Yeah, that was Grand Troll. It was really, really wasn't it? And her husband was very offended and now they're not talking. I think that's fair. Not because he called out that she was watching the reality show, that he was watching the reality show, but because she got it wrong. Yeah, so the only way as Essex was a lot better than Love Island. If you say so, yeah. But yeah, no, it's certainly up there with the petty ass arguments with ever heard.

1:02Would I enjoy it? Would I enjoy what the petty arguments are? I've had one with my partner, Josh. He once said in front of people, I think David's hungry. What's wrong with that? We're covered. I'm the real hungry. That was about five years ago. So, the embarrassment was that he shouldn't have shared. No, he said it was hungry. Yeah, I need probably said it walking, going, I am so, I don't even want to be going to their house. I'm hungry. But I clearly got over it anyway. Yeah. So, let us know what the most petty arguments is. The first of our top story this morning, and a flight from Melbourne to the Middle East has been rocked by a major security scare. Let's get like to Hope Wilson, who's at Talhamarine Airport. Hope, good morning to you. So, what happened here? Well, modern David, this would have been terrifying for all of those passengers on board. The flight took off from Melbourne and it was bound for the Middle East around halfway through that flight. Two men started to become agitated and quite aggressive. They started kicking, headbutting and spitting at cabin crew members.

2:03Then in a terrifying turn, these two men started shouting that they had a gun. This is a major security scare on board a plane that was in the middle of the air. Halfway through this flight to the Middle East, it took six to seven men passengers on board this plane who intervened. They restrained these men. One of them was handcuffed. The other had to be restrained using zip ties. Now, they remained in the galley for the remainder of that flight until it safely touched down at Doha. From their local authorities, boarded that plane. Those two men were escorted off. Doha, author, this is a Qatar Airways flight. It says the safety of its staff is paramount. But this would have been incredibly terrifying for those passengers. And those cabin crew members on board hearing that someone on that plane had a gun. Yeah, Jesus certainly would be. Hope Wilson. Thank you. Well, proposed guidelines have been announced for New South Wales schools. Students are sent to be restricted to as little as 15 minutes of screen time during lessons under a plan from the men's government.

3:03Look at our lives as I'm McLaren in Sydney now and Zoe, this is a big step. What's prompted this? Yeah, good morning guys. Well, it's been labeled. A push back to the books after this week's release of the program for international students assessment showed. Aussie kids reading and writing skills at an all time low. The men's government now looking to mandate how much time our students spend on the screens students as young as preschool will spend around 15 minutes a day on screen times building up through primary school. And then our high school students spending around a quarter of their day on screens now. The students will have to spend around an hour on pen and paper writing down the education minister says this is about protecting a generation who's reading and writing skills on a decline. Now it says that this won't affect digital literacy. It says that stays will stay a core priority of the curriculum. Now we won't see this rolled out until 2028, but some schools are already starting to implement changes.

4:08So guys, it looks like getting that pen license will become a little bit more important. Yeah, and you're sort of saying that school's already sort of do this as well. They really do. They really do. Yeah, absolutely. And let us know what's happening in your schools with four schools in our family. And it certainly happens in all of the schools. Good morning, breaking in Sydney overnight police are on the hunt for a fire bug who torch two cars in the driveway of a home at South Penraith. Firefighters arrived to find both vehicles burning shortly before midnight and managed to stop the flames from spreading to the house. No arrests have been made yet. Queen's landwoman has been killed after falling from a cliff at a popular beach off Bali. According to Indonesian authorities, a lifeguard was alerted to a tourist stranded on a cliff face at Noosa, Penita. As the lifeguard called for assistance, the 29 year old woman fell suffering multiple fractures and dying at the scene. She's yet to be formally identified.

5:08Donald Trump has made waves during a historic two day visit to Ireland, the US president proclaiming he wants to see the island unified. Live to Europe correspondent Isabel Mullen in Dunbeg. Is he a very sensitive issue? How were his comments received? Look, it certainly is. And to be fair to the US president, his comments were made in direct response to a question from a journalist asked point blank whether he'd like to see a unified island unity between the North and the South and Protestants and Catholics. To which he responded, yes, he has spent most of his day at his own luxury resort here on the west coast of Ireland in County Claire. He is watching a golf and preparing to present the trophy for the Irish open. Those sensational and very sensitive comments made by the US president in a one on one bilateral meeting with Irish Prime Minister Michael Martin.

6:09I don't want to cross any cross, but I will tell you I'd love to see a unified. I have friends of both sides, great people. There are Irish people. How can they be there, right? Thousands of protesters have marched through the streets of both Dublin and Dunbeg frustrated at the Trump administration for their foreign policy, for their tariffs. And just Donald Trump's personality, a major security operation was underway. Parts of Dublin shut down. That won't last for long. This is a flying visit from Donald Trump. His foot became trapped between the train and the platform. And he was dragged for 50 meters before fellow passengers rescued him. He was pulled the safety and incredibly wasn't hurt.
