Hr: Zrmanja kanjon bio je tiho mjesto.
En: The Zrmanja canyon was a quiet place.
Hr: Vjetar je parao kroz stijene, a rijeka je tekla mirno dolje.
En: The wind whistled through the rocks, and the river flowed gently below.
Hr: Zimska hladnoća još uvijek je bila prisutna, ali priroda je polako pokazivala prve znakove proljeća.
En: The winter chill was still present, but nature was slowly showing the first signs of spring.
Hr: Ivana i Marko su stajali na rubu staze.
En: Ivana and Marko stood at the edge of the path.
Hr: Ivana, mlada majka s brigom u očima.
En: Ivana, a young mother with worry in her eyes.
Hr: Marko, tinejdžer, kojeg je bilo teško čitati.
En: Marko, a teenager who was difficult to read.
Hr: "Hajde, Marko, pogledaj kako je ovdje lijepo," rekla je Ivana, nadajući se da će mu privući pažnju.

En: "I know you'd rather be somewhere else, but... try to see this as an adventure, a little different," she tried again.
Hr: Korakali su uz rub kanjona, Ivana je ponekad prstom pokazivala zanimljive stijene ili rijeku.
En: They walked along the canyon's edge, Ivana sometimes pointing out interesting rocks or the river.
Hr: Malo po malo, Marko je počeo podizati pogled.
En: Bit by bit, Marko started to lift his gaze.
Hr: No, njegov otpor je bio i dalje jak.
En: Yet, his resistance was still strong.
Hr: On je bio u godinama kada su roditelji često bili nerazumljivi.
En: He was at an age when parents often seemed incomprehensible.
Hr: Dok su koračali, Marko se spotaknuo na uskoj stazi.
En: As they walked, Marko stumbled on the narrow path.
Hr: Nestabilno se zatekao na rubu i srce mu je ubrzano tuklo.
En: He found himself precariously on the edge, and his heart began to race.
Hr: Ivana ga je brzo uhvatila za ruku, čvrsto ga držeći.
En: Ivana quickly grabbed his hand, holding him tightly.
Hr: "Marko! Drži se, imam te!" povikala je s iskrenom zabrinutošću.
En: "Marko! Hold on, I've got you!" she shouted with genuine concern.
Hr: Taj trenutak, njezina brza reakcija i istinska briga, natjerali su Marka da je pogleda drukčije.
En: That moment, her quick reaction and sincere care made Marko see her differently.
Hr: Sjedili su nakratko na stijeni, uzdišući u ritmu uznemirenih srca.

Hr: Marko je polako, ali sigurno klimnuo.
En: Marko slowly but surely nodded.
Hr: Počeo je govoriti o stvarima koje ga muče, o osjećaju da ga nitko ne razumije.
En: He began to talk about things that bothered him, about the feeling that no one understood him.
Hr: Dok su sjedili iznad kanjona, razgovor se nastavljao.
En: As they sat above the canyon, the conversation continued.
Hr: Nijedan drugi zvuk nije remetio tišinu osim njihovih glasova i rijeke daleko ispod.
En: No other sound disturbed the silence except their voices and the river far below.
Hr: Sada se činilo da je napetost popustila.
En: Now it seemed that the tension had eased.
Hr: Dok su hodali natrag prema autu, Ivana je osjetila olakšanje.
En: As they walked back to the car, Ivana felt relieved.
Hr: Marko, s druge strane, sada je bio spreman pratiti njezin ritam korak uz korak.

Hr: "Možda opet odemo negdje zajedno?" predložio je Marko, a Ivana je znala da su napokon pronašli put do njegove unutarnje misli, do njegove tvrdoglavosti i lice koje joj je tako dobro poznato.
En: "Maybe we could go somewhere together again?" suggested Marko, and Ivana knew they had finally found a way to his inner thoughts, to his stubbornness, and the face she knew so well.
Hr: Na povratku, rijeka je i dalje blago šumila, sunce je zalazilo, a snijeg se polako topio oko njih, baš kao i napetost između majke i sina.
En: On the way back, the river still gently murmured, the sun was setting, and the snow was slowly melting around them, just like the tension between mother and son.
