Let's the Lord of my soul and all that is written in me, bless the soul in name. Shalom family, you're welcome to today's morning glory devotion, facilitating today's morning glory devotion is Jessica Aholy, let's take a word of prayer. Thank you Lord, we thank you for that opportunity to hear your word, we ask that you give us insights to your word in Jesus' name, Amen. Let's take our confession, Joshua chapter 1, verse 8. This book of the Lord shall not departs out of my mouth, but I will then meditate on it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it.

For then I will make my reposperous and then I will have good success, Amen. On today's episode we'll be looking at quiet time, a specific time. Our first scripture reading will be taken from some 119, there's 147 to 148, and it says, I rise before dawn in cry out for help, I put my hope in your word, I am awake through each watch of the night to meditate on your promises, Amen. Mark 1 verse 35, Before they break the next morning, Jesus caught up and went out to an isolated place to pray, Amen. Quiet time, specific time. In the last episode we learned that our quiet time we call is not just about consistency, but having the right attitude, we discussed the importance of coming before God with an

expectance, reverence and unlethness, understanding that our time with Him becomes truly fruitful when our hearts are prepared to hear, learn and obey. In today's episode we will be learning about having a specific time for our devotion. Having a specific time has to deal with when you meet with God and how long that time should be. The general rule is simple, the best time is when you are at your best, give God the best parts of your day, when you are fresh and most alert, don't try to save God with your left over time. Your best time may not look the same as someone else's, but for most people, early in the morning, wake up. Even Jesus made it a habit to rise early to pray and meet with the fire throughout scripture, we see many Godly men and women who also rules early to meet with God, Abraham, most

nurses, Job, Hannah, Jacob and David. However, the most important thing is not the hour you choose, but your consistency, whatever time you sit, commit to it, schedule it on your calendar. Make an appointment with God just as you will find an important meeting. Make a date with Jesus and don't stand him up, it's too late updates, it's never pleasant and our time record should be treated with honor and priority. If you've never had a consistent quiet time before, start small, begin with 15 minutes and allow it to grow naturally. When you come before God, spend time in praise and worship, pray and read his word. You may also use a daily devotional guide to help you stay focused as you mature spiritually, the time you spend with him will increase, but most importantly show up, try to score for a meaningful and rewarding time in his presence and you will never leave his presence

the same again. Our memory verse for today is Psalm 119, verse 97, how I love your instructions, it's my meditation all day long. Just kindly take care of prayer, love Jesus, we thank you for today, we thank you for another opportunity to hear your word, we ask all God for grace to be able to help our devotions and for grace to be consistent and not leave your weight in for us, we thank you all God in Jesus name, amen. God bless your family for joining in today's episode, see you same time tomorrow for another edifying episode, please do have a wonderful day.
