America leads the world in medicine development. It matters. We get new medicines first nearly
three years faster. Five million Americans go to work because we make medicines here at home
and not relying on other countries keeps us safe. But China is racing to overtake us.
Will we let them or will we choose to stay ahead? When America leads, America cures.
Let's tell Washington to keep us in the lead.

My name is Clara Tauson and I'm a friend of the show.
Hi, my name is Susan Lamont and I'm a friend of the show.
My name is Zainab Samas and I'm a friend of the show.
Hey guys, my name is Sasha Vickery and I'm a friend of the show.
Boom.
Hi, my name is Lloyd Harris and I'm a friend of the show.
Perfect.
Hi, my name is Jan Faria and I'm a friend of the show.
Yes, take one, well done.
Hi, my name is Jasmine Paulini and I'm a friend of the show.
Wow, Jasmine.
You've got it in one time.
Ready?
Play.
Ah, good gene.
I'm glad you're here because this stream is the spontaneous one
and I really want to make sure that we will keep across all the tennis.
I can see Leyla Fernandez, for example, is already up a set and a break.
And as I said, we'll be talking about the other matches going on including Vadosa
Yovic and TN My Shack.
But I'm glad you're here, Jean, because I do want this to be an interactive stream.
Whereby, I talk to you guys, you fire in your questions.
It can be anything to do with tennis media.
It can be what some of the tennis been going on in Miami, the upcoming play season,
where we're at with Alkaraz, Fonseca, Yannick Sinner, Aegis Fiontec, of course,
as well with her early exit in Miami and some of her interesting quotes afterwards.
The upcoming match between Lynette and Yala as well, what my thoughts on that are
and also a little bit more bizarre.
Oh, the Miami Open website.
Also, these comments here that I'm going to share on the screen from Gelfonseca,
which seemed to, you know where I'm, Jean.
Also, these comments from Gelfonseca, which are quite interesting,
and seem to have created a bit of a response amongst the tennis community.
So I am keen to get your thoughts on that and get any of your questions.
And in fact, Jean, if you can, actually I'm going to do it myself.
I'm going to open up Discord right now and open this up to the discussion.
Here we go.
Going live now for an interactive discussion with our audience on all things,
Miami Open, Aegis Early, Early Exit,
tennis, media, questions, Yala, Lynette, Clash, Miami,
Sheduling, Miami Website, etc, etc, etc.
So, I'm going to share that link now on Discord.
I will be with you the audience in a moment.
And this is a spontaneous show.
I do want your questions.
By the way, maybe you've got something about even Kinios' response regarding Yannick's dinner.
Yeah.
I just want to give you two more questions.
Two reporting.
And the first case is in tennis.
Well, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Okay.
I have no idea in which chat you put these in.
So, you may have seen the video in all of the content.
I'm also going to post this on Twitter.
Twitter.
I'm going to send this link 313, by the way.
Okay.
All right.
Let's get to it.
Oh, we've got a lot of things here.
Thank you.
I see ghostly in the chat as well.
Just a brief one.
This is not necessarily a watch long.
We'll have a watch long later.
By the way, so please do join us in that of Yannick again.
Lynette.
Lynette.
August and then.
Arsenal will be late.
And in the meantime, make sure you have the light buns.
All right.
What other J.A.
Give us questions in the live chat.
We did break the 28,000 subscriber mark, by the way.
I was hoping to do it during the Fonseca.
Alka has stream.
Obviously that didn't quite go to plan in terms of we're going to three sets.
No, I don't think we are Dan.
I don't think so.
I just not that excited.
And I'd rather against Jamour.
Yeah.
I'd rather people how to try and we're doing one match play.
We'll do Alex.
I'll add that.
Against.
Leg to Lynette.
These.
Let me know your questions in the live chat as I said at the beginning.
Let me know about this.
I think it's interesting on on don't being in tennis.
Where do we feel that is at right now?
We've got the response of Ben Welfenberg reporting.
I can actually share this with you on the screen.
I've got a.
A tweet here from Jake, which I think is very interesting and very pointed.
Which in response to Ben Welfenberg's report.
The latest.
On the latest drug testing failure.
If you like or failure of a drugs test.
In my.
Listen, I prefer when it comes to draw.
I'll answer your questions.
I won't just necessarily say my opinion.
Let me know your thoughts on.
Sinner.
The situation right now.
And also Alcaraz and.
We thought on.
I had a very interesting.
Which was basically.
Just saying look.
The Miami open website is.
Absolutely terrible.
And I've come across.
I mean, I've seen the talking tennis.
So I know thing.
But.
You know, misspelling Eala.
I think they spell to ELA.
Either way, they missed a letter.
Calling Alex.
You know,
or bizarre.
Showing the schedule, by the way.
And just.
Getting it entirely wrong.
And people are going to these matches.
Maybe even players.
Will be basing their day.
Look at this.
On the Miami open website.
Yes.
Where.
Three matches on grandstand.
This was not WTA only.
By the way, this was all matches.
ATP everything.
And.
Okay.
Had Eala.
Now, is Eala second or third?
That's the first question.
My interpretation of that.
It's third and that there's only three matches.
I mean, just say three matches.
But I can't understand if people go in that direction.
I think culturally as well.
I think some people might go in all sorts of different lectures.
But probably don't want to go down that route.
But anyway, let's assume it's left to right.
Fourth on.
No, she's not.
Sorry, third on.
No, she's not third on.
Okay.
Okay.
I've told you closely about tennis director before.
And there are tournament directors are working their
proverbials off that they barely get to see a point.
And yet we see these showcased tournament directors that are
just.
They just puppets.
And it drives me insane.
I feel desperately sorry for those that are learning a mega
salary.
We're working their proverbials off.
16, 17 hours a day and barely watching the point in a
mind.
All sets and matches never mind practices and playing.
All right.
So get your questions in.
And I will address those.
I was going to share some scores with you on the screen.
Also against which of which is up an early break on.
But also as I see to once she leads.
Just really struggling for form at the moment.
At least health.
I hope she is.
It's back injury that she's had on offer.
It's getting on for three years now.
And it is something that's.
We've got a break point here for like my way against
Lady Fernandez.
On the men's side.
What are your questions in the live chat.
The reason I'm not coming to the live chat yet is I know some of
you can be slow with your questions.
And so your turn to the end is already down.
Great.
So.
I think in order might be one of these players that we've
just got to see a good decent.
All size from certain tournaments.
I think he's really going to excel in some places.
Like Australia.
It seems as though he's building quite a resume there.
you may there, you were so open, bless you, maybe my, I think we're just going to try and
maybe apply the conditions in the court to him. You know, by the way, you might go on and
win now, maybe even in the States sets, but I do think he's one of those players that I think
will do very well in certain places, well elsewhere. I think he might go right and we're asking
future as well, but that's to come. All right, listen, get your questions in and you might be
thinking, John, why aren't you answering my question because you guys are slow off you're not
taking, you guys are slowing down your questions. I'm just giving, I'm just talking, talking, talking,
hopefully I'm sparking some inspiration as well as I see Laila get a break.
Early doors yet, I was the early doors yet, he was down 15, 31, 4, but now he looks like he's
going to be so bad. I am now going to share this stream on Instagram, and that will then mean.
What are we thinking regarding Miami so far? I mean, what do we think about Alcarazas performance
last night? What do we think about Shelf on Seconds? What do we think about? Yeah, what was this?
Yeah, the tweet from someone regarding Eyalah. I think I said something like, oh, it's a pity that
Eyalah's map isn't that, or earlier in terms of Philippine, what do you think? I just started at
say 11 or 12 a.m. So 11 a.m. say in Miami, he might have got some late night, he always
least of m11 look at night and the Philippines could at least like what? Or my preference would have
had her late on in Miami, and therefore would have been a nice little bit for the Filipinos.
Let me know by the way, if you know what a Filipino breakfast consists of, that will be good to know,
what are the people eat for breakfast in the Philippines, what are the great things to do?
Have your breakfast and enjoy Alex Eyalah, but sadly, she's talking about 4 a.m.
He will take things on the weather and all sorts of things, and it's, yeah, boy, now I hope we've got
lots of questions. What is this about? You don't know about the back injury with Anna Bossa,
ever since Rome, 323, which must back for Wimbledon, she missed the rest of the ladies, and then
back for Wimbledon, and that didn't work out well, I don't think we saw on the court again.
And then she was in the Billie Jean King Cup Final squad, but I don't think she
thought, why don't you put it in that year? And it's been on and off for the last three years,
and it would be an injury that she said she has to live with.
Ah, the city pass back.
Ghosty, do we really do we do we do that off of performance against a player who's
actually struggled since Rotterdam, and a player that he had 11-1 head to head against.
I wasn't quite on the back of the bag, even last year when he won the 80-500 in the Middle East.
Good, good, good, good, good, Jean, thank you for that.
We've had more server on that talking tennis.
Yeah, make sure you join the squad that I'm being a share in the live chat.
We've also become a member as well, some exclusive British members only in the last few days.
I'm actually just going to share that live chat as well, the members
only content link that in the live chat for you as well.
And then I will come to your questions, all right?
Use your force to speak.
Remember, this is not a watch along, all right?
So we're not going to be here for all of this match.
At Egas Fionteck as well, let me know what you think about her early last
in Miami, her form, her comments post.
Some iPads, some interest.
Some comments on social media, including from a Polish journalist.
A few hundred thousand followers basically saying, look, I'm going to continue to begin this advice.
I think it's harsh to be honest with you because I think the advice that he was criticizing was that,
you know, I think the advice was that it doesn't matter if you win or lose,
which I don't actually think is the worst advice that you've ever held.
And if you're feeling it, I'm no expert when it comes to my college or absolute college at all.
Let me go look, I've got a question that goes to you well about Egas shaking the fatigue.
Well, what I'm going to do now is that I finally stop managing,
although I will be having one question in my mic is going out, is it Mark?
Always gay.
Oh, also, I'd love to hear what you think about the situation that I think it was about a week or so ago.
Miles David put out a tweet regarding the village for Gena being not being in winning positions
in certain matches. And then I think 13 times has been match point up.
I'm just going to close a few windows people that might help, like that helps.
Maybe even empty the pit.
Um, yes, so Miles David put out a tweet saying,
yeah, I'll have a little bit of it for Gena that's 13 times nothing went up and lost the match.
Brett Hayber and I do apologise, but if that's your surname,
I'm guessing it's Hayber.
Without a tweet in response saying, where did you get this information from?
Miles said in his channel, you and then you should
put it first for the math.
Is this good?
What was that late night?
There was a show in the U.S.
I remember all in the 90s in the U.K.
The late night radio host and I think it was a drama and it was a smooch.
It was talking to the mic like this.
Um, I'm thinking it was New York based on a bit of a big city.
Actually, it could have been Chicago.
I don't know where it was, but it was um, I think it was all in his love life and
yeah, and he was always been like, and I think he would bring his,
um, yeah, I think it is, um, I'm hopefully going to clear this up
Yeah, I'd love to know what that show was and of course he'd have a story and
then he'd bring it to life like let's just say he saw a homeless
person and then he fell in love with the homeless person, but then the homeless person
The end of the show would be like, you know, be careful people
because I know what might happen and that would be the end of the show.
Uh, I don't know what I'm just talking about this.
I would love to know what this show was.
Um, like, just see we've got healthy questions in, your questions in,
your questions.
Oh yeah, so the Miles David, yeah, and then for Andrews we come,
you know, you should find us and I saw a lot of things on this
as some of which would be close to my take some further away, let's say, um,
I'm certainly quite far away from Brett's take on this, um, for various reasons.
I think Ben Lothan-Blood highlights the fact that tennis channel often quotes at
facts and figures and take let's say and things that you, me and the rest of us are putting out
in the media and then the sides of us, um, it's okay, don't mind.
Maybe if I've got some incredible piece of work, if they start like, uh,
they can bits from even the defeats, um, maybe I would like that sighted and shared,
even the defeats of course, is a book, a John Book on how Alex folks
now, um, use defeats to inspire wins and it's available in all good and bad bookstores.
Um, but generally no big deal.
Like if I said something about Alex, I'm going to wish for Keena with that and then Brett was
like, I do all the research and I'm thinking, do you, do you really, do you really,
every single note that you share on the channel, you're, you're, you're compensating,
I'm assuming that you'll have to purchase as well. Um, oh, what's this? Hello. Um,
and then, and then, uh, but then even beyond that.
I then saw, my, my take is probably this, if you're paying for a service,
so if somebody buys my book, if somebody is paying money, uh, to tune in, okay,
I mean, I personally would like to see more free and less,
commercialized, but anyway, it is what it is, but if you're paying that service,
do you not in part own, well, content, extent, at least verbally, at least at least just sharing a,
a tweet, um, I think you do, and I don't think you need to start. If I put out something on,
for members only on YouTube and somebody who's paying a monthly fee to your account or two dollars
a month, by the way, I can't remember. And I, I certainly have no issues with you sharing that.
I mean, what we're going to do, are you going to be down the public, you made sharing something,
you heard on talk with tennis and then making sure you cite me, you just like, you, you,
like, with friends and well, um, eagles fiontech, 37 unforced errors today because, uh,
John Schilke shared it on, Jim Schilke, John Schilke shared it on content, he's been citing him
a bug away. Of course, by the way, I've got it from, from my TV anyway, but let's just say I had
another fact, let's, I did some research and saboteur, I would expect, I wouldn't expect,
to be able to order someone over, over eight beers or less or more or fewer, I should say not less.
Right. Right. Now I'm coming to you questions, I promise. Absolutely right now. My shack,
oh, six, three, first set. Okay. So in the live chat, uh, I'm talking tennis discord,
a teacher here saying, God, it thanks because they were all of the discord, I think,
ghosted saying, suck it, you know, I have no idea. That is in reference to, um,
that one, Cullen sign. Anyway, uh, right. Okay. Um,
um, you were turned cost him, yeah, I was, I was kind of surprised that the, there was a tweet from
Mike James, who's worked closely with whole, you know, over the years, I mean, did I like
moving this incredible movement in the social media? Look, that's the difference between the elite,
the movement. I'm thinking, yeah, maybe, maybe there's a, he is a half second slow and slightly off
compared to Alcarazza. And by the way, I mean, that's my whole career in that. Um, but it's the return,
people, it's the return. It's night and day, the return. Um, because I think he's probably got a
top 10 serving the world. I mean, I guess anyone on their day, but he certainly, that's not an area
of his game, where he's actually going forward. Uh, is it the forehand? Absolutely not. I can't
don't think so. Is it the variety a little bit, maybe a little bit, you know, shot, shot selection
choices, a little bit, a huge gaps in the term. The return is what held him back. He had three
big points. Yes, he and he was dumped and that concerns into the net. Uh, are we doing a watch
long for the cinema match? No, but we are for Alexie, I love it. Magdalene, or Alex Galah, he is
out there. We love that. Um, could one of you can't get a full hold in the US? No, but he did in Mexico.
Yeah, it's a choice loss, if I think as early as the Indian girls on Miami,
not doing the fm actually the story, Dan, uh, these certainly these cinema,
he doesn't excite me whatsoever against them. Uh, um, quite frankly, no, in order to get
both like as a, um, you need to catch up to us to get you need to catch up. I think the
thing is that Jake was highlighting and others have highlighted is how tennis video
displanned and they do take around, uh, eagles feel on taking the next scene and they know
how influential they are. I know how influential they are. I've had emails from intimidating emails,
or one email from eagles feel on text. So I know how it is. I don't know how eagles feel on
text feels and her team feel about Polish media. Maybe sometimes they're justified and sometimes
they're not. Um, so yeah, I, I know it. And then when it comes to the annex, what we've seen
tennis media bullied into not talk about, I say we saw it in daylight, didn't we, in that US
open press conference where the media tried to shut it down. I know how it is. And so, yeah,
I also think that we're not really trying to get through the problem, which is the salaries of
people, you know, and how tennis is so top. There is a reason why we have dominant
ears from one, two or three players. It's not just because these players rise up and off.
It really isn't. Um, we see how players get treated when during COVID, there were three men's
players that were for the um, special, dispensation, accommodation, extras so that they would be
more comfortable, like those two pairs were team, jock of it, and the dial going into the
one, I think it was, uh, in the first 12 months or so. I also saw this, this fact in recently
between Taylor Fritz and the tennis journalist, Jose Moron, that we didn't really need in the
guys turn, I mean to it, but um, the point Jose was trying to make about, you've earned these
privileges to go and win a grand slam. So, Greenwood, if you sport and as a sport, and you don't
earn advantages other than really your God-given talent or working super hard, those two things
you've earned. Don't then really earn, and there's already lopsidedness already. There's already
an advantage in terms of finances and everything else. Don't need more advantages, as in like,
would you like to get that day, or would you like to play it tonight? Would you like to play
Tuesday? Would you like to play where? Bies as well, and so on and so forth. Oh,
yes, if you just talk about selling tickets, sure. Okay, but I think we still need to have
integrity as well. Okay, um, what are your thoughts on Diana Collins praising Eyalas?
I genuinely just do business. Don't know. Probably, um, I mean, they've never, I wonder how Daniel
would react to the Eyalas crowd. Uh, that would be interesting, but um, I mean, it would also be
listening. Finally, other tennis video outs, a lot of talk in tennis and go on to the fact that
you say or do anything about Eyalas, chop it up, put it out there and enjoy the views.
Uh, yeah, a lot, but I do think that they could have started a bit earlier some days,
and by the way, maybe they maybe they also just know that the weather's moving for the next seven
to ten days, and maybe they just know they're fine. I don't, uh, necessarily get my underwear
in a twist for some people to do over over the scheduling. I don't think it's too bad. I know
that it's separate things. I'm Lenko, and yeah, I'm not talking about that. I just mean in terms of
that the Miami Tournament, because it rains, it hasn't been doing that bad. I don't think so.
I mean, I think I would like to see some consideration for audiences and other
problems that move to the benefit of tennis moment. Um, but you know, I don't understand why it
took so long between the Coco Goffmatch against Coach Oretto last time, and it was like
an hour to an hour and a half before Fonseca and games, um, Colossal Quest took off. Now,
I know that the audience has to leave and then rejoin. Should it really take an hour to an hour
to an hour to an hour to an hour to an hour to an hour to an hour? Not really. I mean, we're not
talking about a hundred thousand people. We're talking a thousand, I guess. In fact, in terms of
people leaving, should it take probably even less? Yeah, I know. Let's tell the website. The thing
that really bothers me is the scheduling, the reporting of the just being just incorrect.
Um, okay, Colossal, if I go on, I think it should, okay, should I think it's very
impressive, although that's probably an update and now, when I'm on that's 18, I should not
ask of a board in the news. My name is, uh, uh, I don't look at very often. I think it
same applies to, to go blow into something and other plans. Well, I'll sit to pass. I mean,
sit to pass, you're putting it into one match, right? Even that one match has nuances and ask
risks. There certainly aren't going to be putting forwards, get back too much into two
and if it is one step forward, step back, then we're okay. She's on the cusp of the top 10.
I think she'll make the top 10 this year, and I think she might, well,
if you can make the number two finals, um, I think she went to the top 10 at some point where
I should be there. I don't know. You got to go to cost the most surfaces glass and half
of the timber. Yeah, another one to watch out for. How do you see, but, uh, how far do I see birds going?
What's his career height? Because I don't want to go and say, oh, I see maybe he might make the top 51
day and then, um, yeah, he's got 39 things up. I mean, that feels about hockey. Uh, and yet he's
already achieved that and he's pretty young. How old is this in the zoo?
I'm coming with questions in the live chat, by the way. I'm going to be here for more 15 minutes
or so. 26. Okay, so maybe a little bit older. I thought, I remember, we've got interview with
the zoo that Jamie did in Serboton from a few years ago. Do check that out. Yeah, do you like
it? He did it a slam at some point in his career. I think that would be good. If he went 50,
I think that would be an amazing. I'm just for him by you Belgium.
Matthew, there is what? There's a load of inn you went to in that one. I'm not even going to go there.
Yeah, maybe ghostly. Maybe.
I think what surprised me a little bit is the lack of an audience of the E.R.
Another reason, although I don't think it would be, it wasn't full of the E.R.
I match. I know it was on early again. Um, I think the lack of an E.R.
Le Sfiantec match is a little, a little harmful. Certainly from our perspective, I know
how much interest those two guys, I think the E.R. Le Sfiantec, even if it was an
O and two, I don't think it would have been, but that would have been huge.
And it has been huge and the two against they have met, obviously, one match, one we need.
What would a successful year from Bockelup look like? I think making the WTA finals,
I think. Where is she in the race?
I mean, she doesn't have any, what I keep saying about her is the glaring,
this doesn't have any glaring week. Let me know in the larger.
So she's currently ranked nine in the world. I'm guessing she's in the top eight.
Um, the WTA finals.
Oh, there's a lane of a back, and we just over Samlenka.
Focus five in the race.
Oh, E.R. Le Sfiantec is nine in the race, and that might slip further with Anisimov,
as well in Benchitch and Yovic. Yovic, of course, playing right now.
How was she doing against the Giotta?
Up the double break.
Lurla TN in trouble.
All right, let's go down.
Matthew thought TN might have a tough.
Is it supposed to be 60 past back? No, not yet.
Back to Dostin, isn't it? Very good, very good.
It's a good humor in the chat today.
Remember, this is just a short one where I'm just going to answer some of your questions.
Um,
Dars, Jean, I don't, I wasn't quite believing it really, but maybe I should have done because, um,
because I just thought it was about form, as well, in terms of the fact that actually,
that is my mic working a bit better now.
I just thought that it was a bit better in a bit more about form,
in that Steph was a better player on clay, definitely, for many years.
And now the form is very much with demon.
So, but I got it wrong.
Certainly, as far as they're matching, Miami's concerned.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing feasts against its past, didn't they have a little bit of a spat?
I'm going to say in Rome, was it maybe last year?
Does Egan Eagle shake up of her team?
Honestly, don't know, don't know.
Um, that's for Egan to decide.
Um, I don't necessarily think that you can, I mean, I think tennis fans sometimes do put a bit too much stock in the team.
Um, I think some players, Emma Raducano, don't put enough stock in their team.
But anyway, um, fingers crossed, my mic is working a bit more, um, effectively now.
And apologies to Instagram people, I'm, I'm just pressing the go live button.
So, you're only going to get a few minutes, uh, to ask your questions.
Um, yeah, but I think with Opelk, I mean, I don't think it's anything to dwell on.
For either player, but especially for Jack.
Um, especially is because I don't think Jack faced a single break point, did he?
But then he had a terrible tie break.
Um,
how many, oh, okay, very, very good, well done for writing English, but not for it, yeah.
Um, I mean, the only one in the next five or ten years that we can see right now,
and we don't know what players might be bursting on the scene in that period of time,
but, um, is of course Jack Draper.
Um, and I don't know, because of A, his game on grass and B, the pressure.
He has talked about the pressure being something that's affected him before.
Uh, do I think Bublick has regressed the game? I don't know. Um,
but I'm not, I'm not mega surprised.
I'm not mega surprised. I feel like a little bit like with Alex Androva, but very different players.
I just feel as though they just were hot for six to 12 months and they honed in and they
zoned in and they seized their opportunity. I don't see, for example, Bublick making the ATP
finals. Maybe everyone is career, same with Alex Androva. I, I just think that they are in certain
moments against certain opponents able to win tournaments and do well. Uh, but I think,
I think, do I think they've both peaked in terms of their rankings quite possibly? Yeah.
And I also think with Bublick as well, the motivation thing, he talked about it,
but I think that's, he's kind of ticked it off. Yes, if he could get to a slam semi or a slam
final, maybe, but that might not come without three, six more, six more months of mega hard work.
Um,
very good. Um,
Moor versus Buscova could be interesting. Yeah, I thought Midas level in her first match.
I guess McCartney Kesslet a lot to be desired and didn't fill me with much hope going forward
for a minute, at least in the near future. She'll be a right long term, I hope, but that's an
interesting one. Keep an eye on the coaching scenario there as well. Um,
am I coming back to Stuttgart next to one another? Who is this by the way? Quartz,
is that who are you the guy that I met in Stuttgart? Um, two years ago, I think?
For what's Fergus doing here? Fergus is joined. What are you doing, Fergus? Hello, I thought I'd come
join you. Come on. Say again, say again. I thought I'd come join you. Oh, yeah, you can. Yeah,
absolutely. In fact, I have to leave in 10 minutes. You can keep going. Keep coming to your
questions because Fergus could get very bored if you don't ask him questions. Um, while I'm gone,
and Fergus, you can go for one more minute after I leave where you can go for
60 more minutes after I leave. Absolutely. You probably just, you've been hearing me just,
so I've got those matches in the title, but I already told the audience and I keep reminding them
the end of the stream is nigh and that that will continue with you. But if you, in the audience,
keep Fergus entertained. He might be here for 10, 20, 30, 40 minutes. I don't know, depending
on his schedule. So keep your questions coming for Fergus. You can even repeat the same questions.
You can just copy and paste your questions, although I don't know if that works on YouTube,
and then just keep Fergus entertained while I'm going or leaving. Yeah, and as soon as you're done
Fergus, just click end stream and the good thing with, the good thing with you joining actually
is that I've just, I forgot to click like, go live on Instagram. And well, the whole reason,
the whole reason I saw you alive is because I said, okay, well, there you go. So it's good to,
to get on board. And I'm going to, we're going to have you back later for E.R. I'm against
linear. Actually, just while you're here, I'm happy to have this, as I am with most of these
conversations, I'm more than happy to have this conversation with you because I think it's good
to know, the audience to know as well. When it comes to commentating on E.R.
matches and by the way, people are going to get already angry about this. But anyway, I do consider
maybe some more people that are a little bit newer to tennis in the live chat. Just little,
we don't need to patronize everyone Fergus, but just little things like tie break, first to seven,
you've got to win by two clear points, you know, you'll often get people tuning in from that part
of the world saying who's winning kind of thing. And that's totally fun. So I think that's always
don't go overboard, but just little things like that. Of course, first to six, I do sometimes sort
of say, you know, don't forget first to six to win the set and you've got to win by two clear games,
etc. But obviously don't go, we'll just one or two little mentions for that. And you'll get a huge
audience. I don't know if it'd be one hundred, three hundred or five hundred. I think we peaked for
the nosc of a match at three thousand, I think, something like that live at one time. Yeah,
live at one time. Yeah. Oh, and also post match five, five minute debrief. If she wins, Eala,
then try and do five to ten minutes on her next match. If it's already established. If it's not,
then don't, of course. Yeah. Who have I got tonight? At Carson, I hope. Yeah, I hope.
Yeah, it's a pity because now you're here. I feel it's dammit. I've got so much on.
So I just have a question. This is for me only, but I want to establish is this, I met this guy,
and I really feel bad. I forgot your name. So I do hope you're still with us. A really nice guy
who tunes into the channel from time to time. I met him in Stuttgart a couple of years ago.
Keep your questions coming, people. I am going to ignore the chat for a few minutes because
Fergus is going to, what you can do, Fergus, by the way, is go to the top of all the comments and
look at some of the questions that were kind of directed for me, but they were directed to
everyone's to answer them. So you can even answer the same questions if you go to the top of the
the live chat. Yeah. But I'm going to get one more word from you on. Let's go for two matches over
the last 36 hours or so. Ega's Fiontech losing two Magdalene in three sets. What are your thoughts?
It's interesting for Ega. We talked about it last week, which you lost in Indian Wells. How
has her form questionable now? What can we see? And I think definitely her form is questionable now.
I mean, we have to remember that she won, but wouldn't less than a year ago, you know,
you can't really question someone that won a grand slam less than a year ago. But right now in this
current moment, I'm not worried about her form, but her form is disconcerting, I'd say, in terms that
she doesn't seem to have the confidence to be able to strive through matches like she did.
For the first set, fine. Yeah, she looks like she usually does. And you know, these early
rounds, you usually see her, you know, dismissed people 6162, you know, 6362 in with so much ease, but
this is, it's different now. Ega seems to be vulnerable in some situations, which is strange,
but all credit to Lynette, you know, she played very well. And when you play someone from your,
from your country, seems that things always start to disperse. You see a lot more random results
when you play each other from your own country. Yeah, friends as well. I don't know how close
these two are, but I know Lynette is obviously, I've seen lots of nice posts on social media from
Magda about Ega. In fact, I spoke to Magda about one of them because it was quite funny. I think
it was just how imperious Ega was on clay. And it was, it was very complimentary about Ega, but
also very amusing. In fact, Magda is quite funny character. Oh, I see learner TN has got a break
in the second set. Yeah, because he was in the second set. I didn't. Strange first set,
Magda six to us. Yeah, right. Yeah. And who does about to close it out? Wow, wow,
wow. Keep your questions coming. And as I said to Fergus, he'll scroll to the top and maybe go
through some of the questions that I address, but give his own take on it. And, and then just go
down. So the temptation sometimes is to go straight here. And then, but best thing to do, Fergus,
he's going to the top. And if you see something of interest, either a comment or a question,
then address it. We've got like things like is Sitsy pass back? We've got
stuff about Fonseca's return, all sorts of stuff for you to address. And then one other question,
which is on Fonseca as well, or Fonseca Alcaraz, what are your thoughts on Alcaraz's straight sets
when yesterday? I think it was deceptively comfortable for Alcaraz yesterday. I don't think Fonseca
kind of posed the challenge that he did to Sinai in Indian Wells. There was a real sense that,
you know, Fonseca could get something out of that match. And I never had to sense in this one that
he would really challenge Carlos. So, you know, the battle of the four hands is always, you know,
good fun, because, you know, they're both absolutely huge. But Carlos' consistency
reigns through yet again and kind of just outclasses Fonseca in that kind of sense.
Serve, well, I mean, Alcaraz is more Alcaraz returning than Fonseca's serve. I'd say, you know,
Alcaraz's return game has been unbelievable. And, you know, Fonseca.
That return on Blake Point. I think you could just put a mic, just honing on three shots
and talk about the difference. There were two back-and-verturns on second serves from
Jalfon Secre the winning to the net. And there was that four-hand return from
I don't necessarily think the result would be entirely different. But let's just say you
switched the return yesterday. I actually think you might be flipping the result. I think you flip,
I think you probably flip the result in that match. If you give Fonseca Carlos' return,
and you give Carlos, Fonseca's return, I really think you flip that result. And it's not really
surprised. It's something that I know our dear late friend, Damien used to highlight a lot,
and I've seen Zhao do specific practices on his return to try and improve it. And I saw the
tweet from Mike James, who I'll certainly bow to in terms of superior tenants,
not just especially when it comes to assessing players and data, et cetera. He's a guy who works
or has worked. I think he does still does work with Holger Luna. But he said that he highlighted
the difference between the two players as being movement. For me, the bigger gap is the return.
That's the difficult. Now you can talk about little gaps. Maybe there's other little elements
that especially when it comes to movement. There's a small gap between maybe Carlos and Zhao and the
elite. But for me, the biggest gap is the return. You get going with these questions. And whenever
you're done, I don't mind if it's one minute, 10 minutes, or 60 minutes, focus. Whenever you want to.
So I saw you talk about Steph Fees. I don't really think. I think the matchup for Steph and Alex is
very, what is obviously very one-sided, was it now 13 and one, which is crazy. Alex doesn't have a,
you know, it's only against Carlos and Yannick that Alex has that sort of record against. So I'm
very surprised. I didn't really know that was the sort of, you know, terms that these two are
playing at, which is strange. But Fees versus Steph, obviously, they had that controversy last
year in Rome, where Steph hit Fees in the face with a ball. And then the umpire had to get
involved. And it was Greg Allen's worth, again, Shotcora. But no, I'm going to go Fees in two.
I'm not impressed by Steph, you know, whatsoever in terms of where he was and what he can be. But
yeah, I mean, it's always going to be the same story. Yeah, the backhand and the backhand
return, I just know when they're good enough. But yeah, Fees in two, maybe, you know, maybe seven,
five, six, two, something like that. Yeah, in both of fifth. Yeah, I know. She is having quite
the year. And she was highly impressive again yesterday. Um, do I think that she could probably sneak
into top five by the end of the year? I don't know, it's going to have to be a hell of a year.
Jones rejoined us now. It has to be a hell of a year. I mean, she's currently sat ninth. But
she hasn't really got much to defend. It depends how, um, depends how Toronto goes. Let's
if we get, if we get to Toronto and she's, you know, seven somewhere around there, you know,
then we'll start talking and how well she does defending our, um, uh, defending a title. But
yeah, this, what I was saying earlier, Jean, you know, the patterns of, of Divino's game don't
really affect Steph whatsoever. Oh, so sweet. I was manipulating her then. I was having a
enticing her with food and all sorts, right? See, yeah. Um, but yes, Steph doesn't really, you know,
find Alex's game very, you know, undermining or anything like that. Um, it's funny how the English
pattern like Murray had anything to, like the English pretend. Oh, yeah, yeah. But we just had to jump
on the bandwagon, Sean. Um, yeah. Alex Andreva, I'm a good comparisons. Um, I don't know.
Alex Andreva, I don't know. That's not something that I would usually bring together. Mainly
because Booblick is so erratic in a sense, um, in all sense, actually, you know, he can play
unbelievably well, you know, challenge obviously the very top two. But in terms of overall,
Alex Andreva, you know, I wouldn't expect to be able to, obviously he got a couple of wins
last year in the Middle East over South, South America, I believe, but the Middle East and
Swings very different for me. I think things are, I never look like the same there. Um, so I see
real coming from, but I don't, I don't really think Alex Andreva and Booblick are, you know,
comparable. Um, Ghosty, I'll be naming none of my future children after Jack Draper. Um,
wish test on us we're going to down. I applied to work at Wimbledon this year, actually,
in a broadcasting role. Um, and I'm hoping that I get that, but if not, I will, I'm hoping to go to
Rohanton towards the qualifying of Wimbledon this year and maybe Nottingham. If not Nottingham,
then I'll be going to Eastbourne for sure. And I want to go way to, you know, overseas
tennis tournament this year, but I'm not sure if I can just because uni is kind of still in my way.
Um, I also, you know, people need to stop spoiling the scores in chat. Yeah, I agree.
Um,
um,
Lynette to be E.R. in three, I think. I don't think that is, I don't think that's crazy. I mean, that's
pretty fair. Um, I think Lynette can play so well. Um, and, you know, I don't think that Lynette in
three versus E.R. is too far away. Maybe E.R. that comes through mainly because, you know, we're
still looking at her defending a big first big chunk of points. Um, this year, and, you know,
that might carry her through, but we'll see what's the deal with Christy. I should have been
playing great this year. I know she's been outrageous. Um, one, her first time she won our home
title in Transylvania, um, which is such a big moment for her. You know, that winning against,
um, Schneider, was it yesterday? You know, that is huge. Um, in terms of, you know, opening up her
drawer and, and, you know, making a big run here, but after she's turned to a 35, she's been
unbelievable in terms of results. So very good for her. Um,
okay, are we still going to meet Middle East and swing next year? If you could have a chance to
come right now, I'm not answering that. Um, do we think we'll have a Middle East and swing
next year? It's very tough to know, mainly because of how, should not be Schneider's thing.
Was it, NOSKIVA should be yesterday? Maybe I got that wrong.
You might be right. As Hoda, NOSKIVA, sorry, it was NOSKIVA,
sorry, it was NOSKIVA. So Hoda closes it out. The 6162 versus Vukic, that's a great win.
Um, for him is currently seven all in a tie break between Halis and the Vidditch Vikina.
That's interesting. Um, it's very hard to know about Middle East and swing next year.
Will we get one? Who knows? We don't know the situation that we're going on in the Middle East,
this time next year, even if so, you know, I don't want to really delve into it too much,
mainly because there's just so many possibilities of what it could lead to.
Um, yeah, so we'll just have to wait and see. Hoda organizers have wanted to have the next year,
but whether that's in their hand is completely different. So we're going to have to wait and see,
you know, how the how the fighting and the war pans out, but I don't particularly think it's a good
idea to hold a Middle East and swing next year. No. Why is Chen made to well all-white,
so often? I don't know. Well, he chooses to, I guess. You, um, you only get certain amount of,
you know, kits to wear for however long, you know, you get your brand's kit and then you choose
between that you don't get an option. You know, I saw or was it Steph was doing an interview for
a tennis podcast and they were calling him out for wearing a leopard print jumper and you're like,
guys, I've never wear that in real life, you know, I'm made to wear that by the company. So,
yeah, uh, ghost, I'm not answering that and I think that is all the questions. Um, so yeah,
I will see you guys all later for Eala Lynette. Um, says to be having about 730 UK time, but
it could obviously be pushed back. Uh, so I will see you all then. Until then, you know the trail.
