Michigan State vs UConn: Sweet Sixteen Showdown

On March 23rd, Michigan State Basketball faces a big test in the sweet 16th of the NCAA

tournament.

The third-seated Spartans take on second-seed UConn on Friday, March 27th, at 9.45pm on

CBS, right here at Capital One Arena in Washington.

Tom Izzo was coaching his 17th sweet 16 team, and the winner moves to the Elite 8 against

either top seed Duke or 5th seed Sainzane.

He is 0 and 2 against Duke's John Scher, but holds winning history over St. John's

Rick Patino, including two Elite 8 wins.
