From the Fairbanks Museum, this is the eye on the sky, weather update.
Sunshine will be hard to come by for the rest of the week, so soak it up this morning
while you can.
A minor disturbance will bring scattered rain for areas north of I-89 this evening and
mostly cloudy skies across the south.
As the week goes on, temperatures will rise to more spring-like conditions, warming to
the mid-60s on Wednesday.
This will support widespread rain showers Tuesday afternoon, continuing into Wednesday morning.
Under these showers, we're in for another cold snap, with overnight lows, Thursday and
Friday dropping below freezing.
For more details, today mostly sunny this morning, then increasing clouds.
Rain moves over the northern Adirondex and greens this evening, highs in the forties
to low fifties northeast and fifties to near 60 in the southern valleys.
Rain ending early tonight in clouds increase, lows in the upper thiries to mid-40s north
to south.
Tomorrow, rain spreading over the greens during the morning and decreasing in the afternoon
returning for the late evening, highs in the upper thiries and mid-40s north and upper
forties and mid-50s in the broad valleys.
I'm meteorologist David Arianzo with an eye on the sky.
