It's the tip of the spare in the epic battle to defend the United States of America.
The National Security Hour exposes the wolves and sheep clothing and then a various plots
to undermine and destroy U.S. National Security.
Welcome back, America. This is your host, Fred Galvin. We have another very interesting
and very important topic to go ahead and talk about today. And it's one that actually,
you know, I like talking about future events, but we have to focus on what's going on right now
since our American forces. They are decisively engaged in this war against Iran.
This is something that we're going to talk about tonight how this is being used politically
in the United States and how, as with many other issues that we've talked about on previous shows,
that we have an external enemy that is trying to divide the American population against ourselves.
And then we have a portion of the American population that is also very eagerly, very viciously
trying to work on the same motive on trying to divide the United States against ourselves
for political purposes. We've talked about this. We're going to talk about it some more.
And, but tonight I want to talk about these update as far as we've been at war
now for nearly a month. By the time most of you will hear this, it'll have been just
just shy of that month mark. And that means that our men and women are still out there in
harm's way. They need our support. I'm not one that says, hey, we don't need any type of accountability,
but they need our Americans, the citizens full support. If you have problems with the motives,
you need to seek information that's factual, not emotional, and you need to seek that
far and wide, not from a single source. I see so many people in America getting emotional
over information versus facts. And tonight I'm going to put out a lot of facts regarding an update as
far as what has been going on since the 28th of February, since the United States has been involved
in combat operations in Iran. And we've been also having Americans as well as our friends
and allies across the Middle East region been involved in defensive fighting, being basically
shelled. And that has been going on prior to this conflict. We're just not hearing about it
in the press. Unfortunately, we're going to talk about that as well. Because it is exhibit A,
B, C, D, and you name how far we want to go back as far as these were not even issues that we've
even ever talked about. And on 7 October 2021, when Israel was attacked, the same Iranian
back militias were violently attacking our United States military assets in Iraq and in Syria
and our ships at sea by Houthi rebels, by Hezbollah, by Hamas, and it was continuous. And now we're
hearing so many politicians. We're going to start talking about some of those specifically later
on in the show, but how they're saying this was unprovoked, unjust. There was no imminent threat.
These are talking points that are very calculated and very, they're coordinated and they're coming out.
And when you see this kind of narrative, that's usually a sign of what we did in the military.
I've seen this happen so many times for decades in the past where this is a sign of coordination
that it's in synchronicity with someone that's financing and controlling this messaging.
And that's that's something that we have to pay very close attention to. So
we'll give this progress report of what United States and Israel have been doing,
attacking Iran, Iran's retaliation and the effects that that has had specifically on
many of our Gulf state allies, what the current update. And this is changing so fast that by the time
you hear this, there could be new information. So I'm going on the record saying that
as I am speaking, there could be new information that comes out which stating the progress
of what the operations are going on to target Iranian resistance in the streets of our moves.
And some of the updated as far as this domestic political fight. So this is,
the media should be really loving this and all this reporting on so many different topics
from the economy to this war, to all these acts of terror that have been occurring recently
in the United States. There's so much to talk about, but we are going to focus on
what is going on in the Middle East region, as well as how many of our politicians are trying
to amplify this, trying to do the same thing we've talked about as our adversaries foreign
are doing the same thing as what many of these politicians are trying to do to divide our population
and use narratives that this was not an imminent threat. And we're going to drill down
and show the historic examples to even the near term of how when there has been a attack
after attack after attack, countless American lives lost since 1979, where they were just captured
in 1979, held hostage through 1980, killed in Lebanon in 1983. And the list goes on and on.
We're going to talk more in depth on that list. And I know from past episodes, I'll sound like a broken
record, but that needs to be addressed. It needs to be restated and to soak in for those that are
saying there was no imminent threat. When you've seen after we targeted last June 2025,
facilities in Iraq, and then we went into negotiations all the way up till the 27th of February,
2026. And those failed. The offer on the table, I want everybody to understand the offer that was
on the table was for Iran to walk out of there and not have any attack was that there needs to be
inspections, but that Iran would have completely free civilian nuclear energy for life for free
and they walked away. And I'm going to sort of do a little teaser and spoiler because I was going to
save this for the close, but we see how hard Iran is working and fighting even their former friends,
I'm talking Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Kuwaitis, Iraq, Iran, many of these Gulf
states, they've been shelling. But if they are so hell bent on getting a nuclear weapon,
and think if instead of these being missiles and drones, these were warheads of 2,000 kilograms.
And now you see these messaging that's going out all over the interwebs that Iran is saved the
best for last. Now they're now they're rolling out their heavy stuff, their heavy drones.
That's those are Iranian information operations that's being amplified in America.
And I'm glad we don't have restrictions on our media, but that's going right into the mind. So
that's to create fear and make it seem like boy, I have a loved one over there. I know of somebody
else that does and this is this is terrible. That's happening live as we speak and we have to be
very, very well aware of what the actual truth is. Iran doesn't have they haven't saved their
best for last. And I would say this is close to being their last. We're targeting not just their
their active manufactured weapons, but the plants that manufacture those weapons were attacking
those as well. And there's been a severe reduction. But many fringe media, it's not really that
they're media because media is supposed to be reporting the facts, the five W's, something that
they've gone and done some investigating rigor. And they fact check and put some analysis into it,
but they're just spewing out things just like content creators do on YouTube and TikTok.
That's that is how bad the propaganda I only want to justify it worth the word called news because
it is definitely not that. You see what a lot of these editors are doing is they're filtering things
that could ever be looked at as pro American and pro, you know, hey, we want to fight,
degrade Iran's capabilities. They want to filter that and just make it all about this unhinged,
unauthorized by Congress war that now has no end state. But more we're going to unfold all this.
But this is that's my open. It's really important that we talk all about that. We talk about the
politics of our national defense and what is interfering because we we may have it be 60 days
because it's not just that's how long it we have unless Congress authorizes more. But we do have
an election and everybody knows that to include our enemies. And that's a that's very unfortunate
that this this situation is is here and we can't truly take care of a actual viable threat.
And I'm saying this I know we're going to finally talk about a recent resignation in the Trump
staff of Joe Kent, the former director of counterterrorism center and and discuss, you know,
what he said and kind of his career. I want to talk about that because I believe he's one of many
that's made some very strong comments and we want to look at the reasoning for those. And if they
hold water, are they true? Is it true that Iran posed no imminent threat at all? We know that
they're exactly hell bent on getting a nuclear weapon developing this missile technology.
How hard would it be for them to acquire any of that technology from a peer adversary whether it's
China or Russia and an attack. Either some of these Gulf states or I mean that is coming and do we
need to have it be another Cuban missile crisis? Do we need 1962 to happen all over again
where now the threat is right on our doorsteps. It's imminent and there's almost no way to
de-escalate. Is that what we want is for our crazy neighbor who fires off their weapons to
actually load it and point it directly at our face? That's imminent threat. Do we need to wait
to that minute? That's the question I'm asking and I will continue to ask that through the show because
I need this to marinate in everybody's minds. When you say imminent, is that the best thing to happen?
You know, when I analyze past conflicts and I look, I look at these historical markers that existed
and this lady Ann Wenslow who saw one of these coastal defense batteries down on Hickum Field.
She was an army airfield and she made a comment diverging to converge here. Just let me wrap this
up if you would please. She said, I watched Hawkins battery fire. They're 12 inch guns after which
the Japanese have no terror on my heart. They can attack anytime they want. Miss Ann Wenslow said
that in March 1911. Over 30 years and six months before we were attacked, a little bit longer in the
six months, but who's counting? I was a Marine so my mask not perfect, but my history is pretty good
and I will say we knew it was coming. We built up fortifications in Hawaii. It was imminent. It was
going to come and a lot of American history books talk about it being a surprise attack. It wasn't
definitely not a surprise attack. We knew it was coming. It was imminent. It was we were complacent.
But did we need to wait until that mini sub entered Pearl Harbor at 342 and was spotted by
a minesweeper in Pearl Harbor on the morning of the 7th? Did we need that to happen? Did we need
to get that close? Or did we need to wait until some air reconnaissance planes were spotted over
Fort Shafter in Hawaii? It's 740 in the morning and correction 720 in the morning and that was reported
up. In Americans, then a second time said no, let's not be alarmist. Don't worry about this.
And like many Black Swan events, things happen in threes. And what happened finally too late
is some young army radar operators up at a pont point on the North Shore of Wahoo reported that
they saw many what they determined in that day targets, targets approaching from the North.
And that was reported up to their officer in charge.
That was an imminent threat. That was the main, there's first of two waves that 180 planes
were in the air in the whose discounted saying we were expecting some B17s coming in from the West
coast, complacency America complacency if any one of those three. And I will say this that
the mini sub was spotted. It was reported and it was acted on not by just the minesweeper,
the American minesweeper, but the USS Ward, a destroyer right there at the throat of Pearl Harbor.
It did come in and they didn't wait for all these rules of engagement. They fired upon that
mini sub. They dropped depth charges. Americans were the first to fight on 7th December.
But we needed our leaders at the senior levels to wake up and not be afraid. It's like the bible says
in Joshua 1st chapter 9 verse says be strong be courageous and it repeats that three times
that's God speaking to Joshua and God knows our nature and sometimes we aren't strong and we don't
have courage or not bold. But that's why it's repeated and reinforced and emphasized three times
repeatedly because sometimes we fail to get it and we need to be bold. And when leaders are bold
things happen that need to happen need to get done. And right now we're having bold action take place
and political opponents just like they did with law fair. They are attacking a leader because they
don't like him. And we have seen this in many different ways and we're going to go to a break and
we'll talk more about this right after we come back from this break pay attention to the messages
and we'll be right back shortly. Don't go away. We'll get ready my fellow Americans July 2nd 3rd

Welcome back America. This is your host, the entire Green Major Fred Galvin. We do need to focus
on this update and sorry for focusing on some comparisons with what's going on now with what
went on in 1941. But there's some similarities that we really need to talk about. Those involve
complacency. Those involved Americans that said there's not an imminent danger. I'll tell you what
we lost thousands of lives that morning. Not just only on the USS Arizona, but on all eight
battleships were attacked. We lost 18 ships total and eight American bases were attacked.
They didn't need to if leaders like Admiral Husband and Kimmel that was in charge had acted
with the duty and responsibilities that they were obligated to put into action and they did
not. And they were held accountable. Husband and Kimmel was reduced in rank. But now let's talk
about today. This is no longer a limited shadow war, ladies and gentlemen. Since the 28th of last
month, the United States and Israel, we've been in a direct large-scale war with Iran.
And both Washington DC and Jerusalem, we've stated that the goals are to degrade Iran's nuclear
missile capability and to remove the threat that Iran poses to U.S. forces,
Israeli forces, and to regional shipping. And this has, you say, it's changed. Well,
when a country fights back, that does change the calculus. The enemy always has a vote.
Combat, as I've stated before, it's not a noun. It's a verb. It evolves. It changes. Everybody
thinks, and you've heard a lot of these politicians talk about how it should be very surgical and sterile,
and it should be like a scientific equation where everything, sort of like an accounting,
everything equals on both sides of the formula. It doesn't work that way in combat.
So this conflict is already expanded beyond Iran and Israel and the wider Gulf,
both arena. These attacks, Iran has launched against many of these Gulf states, Saudi Arabia,
Emirates, Kuwaitis, Iraqis, Bahrainis, and threats to the shipping. And I will say, I would expect
that those nations become closer allies because that's affecting their profits. And do they have
reserves? Do they have incredible amounts of money? Sure. Do they have ways to have alternate
shipping lanes? Yes and no. They don't have that same throughput that they do through these massive.
If you've ever seen, I don't know if many of you listening have seen these massive ocean oil
freighters that just humongous, they carry so much oil. So can you ship that in trucks? No,
you can't. Can you ship a sum? Sure, but not the same quantities. Again, it's the amount of
reduction. We're talking 20% of the oil. And are there pipelines that the Saudis had constructed?
It just doesn't have the same bandwidth as these massive ships. That's the kingpin amount of
oil that's out there. And that's what these companies are really maintaining their profits.
And that affects the net profits, it affects the consumer price and producer price index,
as well as the all of our economic indicators, the CPE, there's inflation, GBD GDP. It's all
impacted with sweet crude prices. So it's very important that that becomes
restored. And that is what Iraq right now, they are trying to or Iran is trying to inflict
on the whole globe. They're attacking these Gulf allies for providing any type of support or
not sticking up for Iran. They're trying to force the whole world into the situation, which our own
politicians are on the side of these Iranian leaders. They want, they're driving the narrative that
these Iranian leaders are saying, like, hey, you just can't take this pain. This kitchen table topic
of inflation, you know, that's that's exactly they're they're seeing off the same sheet of
music and off the same note. They're in perfect harmony. It's sad. But back to Iran,
we've done tremendous damage at attacking and attritting Iran's top leadership. Reuters,
they reported that Ali Khamene was killed. Obviously, on the first day of strikes,
along with his senior defense and IRGC figures, there's a several layers, but we're talking again
over 600,000 active and 350,000 reserves is 16th largest military. This is it's not going to be
something that's one and done. Many people are trying to use the same calculus that happened
during desert storm against Saddam Hussein or during Operation Iraqi Freedom 1,
where it was just massive shock and all. But Iran is is a little bit different than Iraq. Iraq
capitulated very rapidly twice and they went into hiding where Iran. This is showing this should show
everybody that has a question that maybe maybe I should just check my ego, check my comments,
bridle my tongue and and look at what's going on. Because again, I'm going to repeat this
several times as the answer to the test. Iran was hellbent on this missile technology,
on this nuclear weapons technology. Do we need to wait until we see this large quote-unquote
target from the radar station at Opanapoint? That target was reported at 740. They had launched
from those six Japanese carriers and they're heading to attack on that first wave, all eight
targets, all eight US military bases in Oahu. Do we need do we need the missiles to be in the air
before we take action? Is that what I'm sensing from these people?
These these people talk with a sharp tongue and very very lacking on American military history
and what what kills is indecisiveness. What kills is people without a bias to defend American
interests and Americans both at home and abroad. But we have a president that launched this attack
and are we going to get the straight answer as far as was Israel? It doesn't matter. Iran posed a threat
and sooner later that was going to occur against Americans somewhere on the world. And
is there evidence of that? Is there evidence of mass scale, writing, shouting in the streets of
Tehran, death to America? Yes, there is. Is that imminent? Do they want to kill us? Yes, it is.
It's just a matter of time until they get the technology. Do we want to wait until the gun is
cocked up against our head or in our mouth and then we are forced to comply with whatever they want?
We know that what Iran wants is that loaded gun and they want to pull the slack out of the
trigger and they want to blow our heads off. What that means is they want to totally
fulfill, they want the full manifestation of what they're shouting in the streets of America.
And that is death to America. That is what they want. Take it very seriously when you have an
enemy who uses terror and an ideology and they have become fully radicalized, believe them
when they say they will not stop until they get a nuclear weapon. That was the deal on the table
as late as the 27th of February. And any politician, especially those on the Senate and House
Armed Services Committee, especially those who are veterans, anyone in a cabinet position who
was a veteran knows that when diplomacy failed and it failed on 27th February, I know that
Iranians were stalling and trying to say this was, you know, they were hopeful that's to buy time
and just look at how many weapons they have and what they're doing with those weapons not.
I mean, Israel and the United States have attacked them, but they're attacking civilian targets,
civilian airports. And there's a report that's being investigated. It's kind of hard to get a good
honest investigation when you don't have access to international press. And here's a question to
my friends that are in the national press because I know so many of you guys are so courageous.
dump your chest out tough. You are. And I had a lot of interaction if I could because some of
these guys refused to talk to me because they're so enlightened. But where are you when you don't
have the guts? How about, you know, some of these intelligence professionals that are risking their
necks into Iran right now? Where are you? Why can't you? That's right. Mr. Pearl, he got his cut
head cut off 2001 in Afghanistan. And your organizations won't let you do that. But you could
be an independent reporter, but you don't have the guts to do that. It does take guts. I won't say
that. But you have opinions that you're writing out there and you're supposed to be the news.
I'm not saying I have a news show here. I'm just saying that I'm telling you you're not in Iran.
So you don't know what the hell is really going on. But we do know we do have accurate information
that there were tens of thousands of the former I told his own citizens who were being
assassinated in Iran. And if you're killing your own people and if you have a complete
communications blackout, again, I've said it before on other shows in the past that
why does one party always fall in love with President John F. Kennedy's
being a bear-litter speech of we will do everything for democracy. We will stand with any friend,
we will pose any phone no matter what the cost. That's okay when it's JFK saying it. But when we
actually do support that. And I think God, JFK was forceful when Russia was shipping missiles.
And we could have had that threat right now with missiles pointed at Miami. And I'm glad we don't.
But we don't need that threat in Iran at all. And we don't need an Iranian government
with abilities to operate outside of Iran, which they're currently doing and which they've done
for the last 20 years. I remember as a young marine losing a lot of friends that I've seen in
graves around the United States of America that had nothing left of them. And this is personal to
me. They were blown up. I have friends that I served with. Marines that stepped on these
EFP mines that were that was a technology that Iranians had. They came and they trained
the Mujahadin in Iraq. They killed a lot of my friends. They came into Afghanistan and taught them how
to use mortars and how to do coordinated attacks and how to use disinformation. These are facts
America. This is what I'm reporting. This is what I experienced. And and now we're seeing
these, you know, what we have done against Iraq at over a thousand Iran over a thousand targets.
It's not some symbolic raid that somebody thought, you know, we're going to do that. But that would
have really led to nothing. You know, to if you just degrade the first wave, thank God we have
some resolve international leadership to make sure that this attrition goes deep. And if it has
to last all 60 days until we get to the timeline of an official war power act, if that's what it needs.
And and again, I don't need to take a break right now and lose my stomach because some people had
no question is, you know, blank check what it came to Ukraine. And now they're counting every penny
that we're spinning on munitions over in Iran. And they don't seem to mind that, I mean, some people
are even Chuck Schumer saying, you know, the Kodan afford to have Iran with the nuclear weapon at
least he, oh my goodness, at least he has, you know, some some form of integrity, which is shocking.
But anyway, we're seeing this targeting shift from military targets and leadership targets. And now
the US forces have shifted this towards a focus on the Hormuz battle space. And you know, who knows this wild card
with moving the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit on the USS Tripoli and it's a expeditionary strike group
moving them in the theater, which by the time you hear this will be much closer. And so the shaping
operations that are going on, that's a wild card that Trump can put down. And now will a battalion
landing team of Marines be sufficient enough for any size military target? Well, there's Marines
at higher levels, a Ford Marine Central Command Ford has a one-star general over there. And I'm sure
that general will make a wise choice regarding. And I think that's, I think that's a buddy of mine
that's over there. I'd have to actually look that up, I should know. But he will make a wise
decision as far as the resources and assets that he needs to reinforce if there's any plan to
use that Marine Expeditionary Unit to go from sea to land. But you're seeing just like what happened
in the Southern Command in Venezuela, that the United States is using tactics, tactics, techniques
and procedures that put us in a favorable time and location. So we can strike when and where and how
we want with stealth. And from a position that is unknown by our enemy, now is Iran receiving
intelligence from national assets of both Russia and China undoubtedly. Because they know where
our ships likely are. And is that communication going to Iran that can send what's remaining of
their Kilo class submarines to target these ships? Definitely. And our ships protected by
fast attack submarines that go out and hunt them down and anti-submarine warfare. And I'm not
going to get into all how we utilize that once our task forces are underway. But there's
measures and countermeasures that we use and our enemies use to have this action reaction and
counteraction to fight this fight. But whatever anyone thinks politically, this campaign has already
achieved one undeniable result. And it's severely degraded. Iran's senior command structure.
It's forced to fight onto train where the United States of America's power is the strongest.
We are able to use our air sea land for long-range strikes. And with that, we're going to go to
commercial break. Don't go away. We'll be right back after this important message for our final segment.

Welcome back, America. This is your host, Fred Nellman. We are going to do a little two-minute
drill because I love this subject. I would much rather recovering what future events could happen,
but we still need to finish this update and we got a lot to talk about. So,
Iran has been doing some targeting and even Reuters have reported that some of these gold
states and the Arabian Peninsula that initially opposed this war. Now they're talking to Washington
DC on, especially if Iran retains the ability to threaten Gulf oil infrastructure and maritime
traffic. They are supporting and that's what we want actually is to have most of these gold states
to own this mess that's in their backyard. It would, wouldn't it be great if they could commit
air, land, and naval forces to get involved and to make sure that we have freedom of movement
and we have a, I used to hate that phrase, free and open traffic lines. That's what we really want.
But Iran, they're causing a lot of problems for themselves. Every drone attack and there's a lot
of people even in the United States, unfortunately, that are supporting this anti-Semitism and
they don't seem to mind, you know, if one target, if one target allegedly hit a school and
potential civilian young girls were killed in Iran, we haven't, we don't know there's investigation
on that. But since we can't get on boots on the ground, who knows what that'll be determining,
what has actually happened, which all these pro-Iranian pro-enemy, we should say, people are taken
to their ways. They don't really even want to talk at all about the Israeli civilian population
centers that are getting attacked and sheld every day. If you actually could do this and switch
the channels on your television, most people have that ability. It's not just glued to one channel,
but you can see actually reporters on non-mainstream media that actually have a helmet on their head,
body armor, and they're reported from Tel Aviv and other places in the Middle East.
And they're getting sheld. So, wow, and it's weird how other reporters, I'm sure they could send
reporters from New York Times and Washington Post to Tel Aviv. But again, there's that problem with
the filter. You know, the editor-in-chief doesn't like that, so those don't get... And I say this,
I've been... If you want to read a book about disinformation and how you can distort the truth
where it looks nothing like reality, read the book a few bad men. I've had this happen on a
graduate level scenario, and this is in progress right now, where the media is complicit with
these disinformation. But it's interesting how APN Reuters are both reporting
that Iran is widening the retaliation of these Gulf states. They're in favor of doing strikes
and opening up this flow because they've crossed all these red lines.
So, but Iran is, they're trying to impose fear and use this in a political pressure to create
this economic shock across the region by threatening these cities and energy nodes and shipping lanes.
But it's not just a missile from missile Iran realizes, you know, they are smart, and I have to
get them credit. They are fighting a long game. They understand that their strategy is to
coerce through escalation. Hit these civilian centers, hit these commerce and energy and
transportation and try to force put the pressure on these countries to capitulate and to concede with
Tehran. I don't believe that's going to work. I believe all these leaders in the Gulf states
real quick, they're going to... They're going to fight back against Tehran, whoever is in charge
today. So, but this is switching right now where the Straits of Hormuz, that's the center of gravity
and that's what going forward we need to look at. Obviously a quarter of the 25% of the world's
oil is going through there, 20% I should correct myself. So that's shocking and it's causing a lot
of volatility and fuel prices, inflation and shipping insurance is going up, the food
cost, everything is going up. Since the war started, 45% rise in the price of oil. So this is real
and Tehran understands this strategically and they realize they may not be able to defeat
America, but it's still trying to tax entire world and trying to create that fear and shock.
And we are trying to do the United States and Israel to reduce
Iran's capability to wage this asymmetric retaliation, which could happen here at home,
just like our last conversation. We have to be very vigilant and very proactive and thinking
defensively in case more attacks happen here in the homeland, which have occurred and we need
to be very aware and conscious of that. But now let's talk about the political side of this.
There's been a lot of critics talking, but even as strange as it is to have me say this,
that I have to report both sides, you're going to get on a scoop from me, but Hakeem Jeffries,
Chuck Schumer, Chris Van Hollen, these people have even stated that Iran's a bad actor,
and that they should be confronted. Now, do they talk about both sides of the mouth, even better
believe it? They disagree with the Trump administration should not have launched a preemptive war
without congressional authorization. But that has happened in the past on the Obama sides.
It has been done more than just with this current Trump administration. Is it an illegal
war of choice? That's the narrative they're saying was like some opponents are saying
are branded poses, an imminent threat that allowed the president to act this way. That's their
opinion and that makes a good catchy headline that's going to get a lot of attention.
But you're seeing a lot of those narratives, these legal, quote-unquote, legal experts talking in
Reuters about strikes pushing or exceeding the normal boundaries of presidential war power.
Maybe I know it's probably exceeded the number because Obama did 560 strikes in several different
countries. It depends on the metric. Now, we're at over 1,000, almost 2,000
missions and targets with aviation ordinance and Tom Hawks, T-Lams being fired, but
and not multiple countries. What's your metrics? But there's a lot of criticism being tossed
around in the media right now. And because it's a major election year, this is a dividing line.
And I will say that I experienced this as I referred to the book I wrote a few bad men.
I had a Marine Special Operations Task Force and I was fighting that fight. I had no idea as a
naive guy from Eastern Kansas that our task force and what similar to what's going on right now,
back then there was the run-up for a general presidential election at the time we were fighting
where McCain, Senator McCain was running for president with against Senator Obama.
And I had no idea that we could be these pawns in this war where it became an actual election
issue. See, if you vote for McCain, he's going to have more of this type of
escalation and atrocities as they said, falsely alleged that we had committed. That's what's
going on right now is he promised to lead us into endless wars. Well, we were in an endless war
and Ukraine, we still are and nobody seemed to care. And there was an empty checkbook. So
all of these objections, my thing is trying to be so self-righteous and the press is going
right along with it. And that is exactly what our adversaries are hoping, who we would say.
But so spare me on the illegality and the escalation and lack of planning and fear of
endless Middle East wars that's I think in the past, everybody else in the Obama administration
has done the same. There wasn't any plan, continued to escalate, illegality, or Obama even said
if somebody must with his daughters, he was the phrase that he used. I can't think about off
top of my head, but it's something about drones and my goodness. If Trump said something like that,
it would be all over the news. But the critics are using this war as a certainty in the
legality questions and talking about how Americans are barely able to make it. And Trump's friends
they are saying are just getting rich off of this war and they have no proof of that. But again,
they don't need proof. This is disinformation. They're putting information out and there is plenty
of economic fallout. Nobody's going to deny that. An honest person can state that and that had
happened in the four years. We're almost we're not quite at the level of gas prices that we had
during the Biden administration and those will likely come back down as countries. It does take
a lot of time to pump all this additional oil that we would need to make up for that deficit of
the 20% that's coming through the streets or moves, but that could remain that is definite
reality that it could remain elevated for a while. But it's it's ironic that this war there's
a couple things that make it unique. I'll talk about three of them first that I ran. They're
they're not behaving like some victimized status quo. They're retaliating against civilian
centers threatening the world's economy through this maritime artery right there on the streets of
our moves. So, you know, it's hard to have sympathy when you're targeting civilian airports
in the Emirates and across the Gulf States. You know, those are not military targets. And then
this campaign, it has produced real military facts against Iran's leadership. You know, these
they're a missile infrastructure, their ability. You can't deny that. It has had
serious effects eliminating Tehran's capacity to impose this and inflict more casualties
on civilian populations in the global economy. And then finally,
what's being used is a lot of this narrative here at home talking about three things,
the constitutional authority, the strategic endgame, the economic blowback. These are this is
what I need to talk about here as far as how a lot of politicians are using this as a topic to
once again use it like law fair and just plant the seed of doubt and let other people in the media
come along and amplify that to where it's slowly and with other people that don't have
strong faith and can't see like this is the course we're on. We need to eliminate this threat
that they can change the way people think. That's the goal. And psychological operations
is to use fear and messaging to change the way that people think. So, the real question
is now you see how long and how hard Iran is fighting with these high-tech weapons.
We know they've been hell-bent on getting a nuke and intercontinental missiles.
My question is, is that what everyone wants to sit back for another however many years?
It won't take 47 more years. Is that what we want to sit back and watch happen
to only at a later point in time they have this global threat to our life where it is imminent?
Do we want to fight where it's imminent? Do we want to spend our last dollar to where
now we're in this crisis? That's not how wise people act. And I'm not talking about going out
having a war for what we call the military GP general purpose for no real good reason. That's not
what we're talking about. But I'm not buying these arguments that people are making that this was
an unprovoked, unprovoked. You know, they were threatening. There is
you know, the director of national intelligence, there's credible evidence that Iran has made threats
and tried to make good on those threats to assassinate the president of the United States.
That is, that is serious for me just even say on the air, let alone. I mean, this is
what our intelligence communities have have discovered and it's real. So you don't have to support
endless wars to recognize that Iran is deliberately targeting civilian population and global
commerce. That's what they're doing right now. Is that what we should want more? I mean,
they were targeting their own. Now they're targeting people in a region. Do we want them to be
able to have the capability to target people across the world? Is that what some people want? Because
we have an American political class, political class that's fighting over who owns this war.
But the harder question is do we have the plan to finish it without rewarding this Iranian coercion
to the whole world? That's right now we have this battlefield right there in the Straits of
Hormuz and it's becoming a war of the global cost of living. And leads me, we have a few more
minutes. I want to talk about a gentleman I've never met. Retired from the United States Army
served very honorably. Our former director of counterterrorism center, Joe Kent. He enlisted in the
Army, which is I'm not knocking him on any of this. And he went from the U.S. Army Rangers
where he did several combat deployments. Total his whole career of 11 combat deployments, which
for most people that is that is truly significant. Meredith, a woman that he met when he was over
there. He went into the special forces. He got became a green beret after that and became a war
officer and specializing in intelligence. So he was very accomplished. And everything he did,
he worked very hard and I have massive respect for him in those roles. And he worked briefly
with the Central Intelligence Agency and their paramilitary organization, what's known as the
Ground Branch. And then he went into politics and changed his tune several times. He does speak
with incredible authority and he's convincing and convicted in what he says. But he switched parties
so many times from Libertarian to Democrat to Republican. And he's backed Trump before. But now he's
came out and resigned saying he doesn't think that the war in Iran was an eminent threat.
This is where he and I disagree. And both he and I understand the tale of the tape, the military
history. That was my first bachelor's degree. I understand it in depth. I saw it from when I was a
young child that they are, they capture our American citizens on their soil. They killed our US
Marines, hundreds of them in our barracks, sleeping in our barracks in Beirut, Lebanon. They attacked
our embassy. This went on and on and on. And they used funding to conduct hundreds of attacks,
especially after September or October 7th, 2021 against our forces in Iraq and in Syria
and our ships at sea through the Houthis firing all these missiles. They didn't stop and they
were aggressively doing it. And so for him, Joe Kent to say that there was no eminent threat,
you have to be off your rocker. And that's all I'll have for this evening. God bless our troops,
fighting overseas right now. God protect them. God bless America.
