Shut up! The board is on Triple M!
Now I'm Triple M-Footy.
Now they're switched on.
This is...
Here we have you going here.
Is the midweek rather?
Please just call me the Oracle from now on.
Triple M-Rox-Footy.
On Surface Paradise, they're already engraving the brown low
with track's name and who needs defense when the dogs can
kick 100 points every game.
A new hook dees saluted under the new king at their MCC compound
while the tribunal, the pies brought up Pendel's basketball background.
Another injury setback for Errol is shattering.
The dog has copped the second half battering.
And Destiny's fans hopes are already scattering.
To dissect round one and look towards round two,
this is Triple M-Footy's midweek rub with the concerned
and angry-looking St. Kilda Mafia member Lee Montagne.
Oh, hello, Rapsy.
I was about to praise you.
So thank you for leaving St. Kilda out of the opener
because you're the only one that hasn't bagged St. Kilda this week.
Well, and only took about 15 seconds.
Really got there.
The Prince of the Triple M-Footy in Channel 7 merger himself, Daisy Thomas.
Very good morning, Jens.
Owen, four sounds good for your Saints, Joey.
I look forward to discussing this.
And the hardest-working man in 40 media is here as well.
Old man, media, Damien Barrett.
Hello, Rapsy. Hello, boys.
Old man, media.
North Melbourne, one win down.
All tend to go.
So, I think I owe you an apology, Damien.
I think I owe you an apology.
I think I owe you an apology.
We laughed when you went with the 11 as the...
As the past mark only.
That's all it is going to be.
Port me by surprise with your pessimism.
I thought you were going to give it a four-spot.
It was mockingly laughing.
It was mockingly laughing.
And maybe I might put my hand up and say,
I'm wrong, because North are now going to be four in zip
and sitting probably second or third on the ladder after four weeks.
So, maybe you are the oracle and I owe you an apology.
They haven't got enough love, North Melbourne.
If they had a loss, we would have piled it.
They win and everyone goes, yeah, they've only beaten Port.
Mainly you saying that, Damien.
46 points.
They were bloody good.
Yeah, they were against Port.
Yes.
No, they were.
But, again, expectations need to be elevated significantly.
Beating Port by 46 points, just move on as I would say.
It's common.
Were you and Tumann?
And is this room that confirmed both in the spa
until the warehouse of Monday morning?
I've stayed clear of Tumann since, gathering on 2023.
So, I don't know what he did that night,
but he's had been changed forever.
And I stayed welcome.
I've heard spa, Tumann's going to do a renovation of the spa,
because he thinks he's going to be using it a fair bit this year.
Normally, it just sort of gets dusted off.
I wanted to change the water.
Yes.
Tumann's wellness retreat.
Yes.
I think it's a successful one.
No, they're very good.
I'm not sure if you heard on Saturday, though,
but the purple man.
Yeah, what do you do?
Saturday rub.
Oh, one of my favourites I was driving down a Torque.
I was in stitches.
And not because of Bill, not because of something that Burn
and set up, not because J.B. had reached someone.
They ain't no cracking eggs.
Purple.
Have a go at a bit of humor.
What?
From the purple one.
They even use breaking to the news breakers.
And that's not you.
Me and Masai.
Ah!
The Masai were.
You broke one.
Sorry, in 20 years.
You couldn't break a stick of Kitak.
Ah!
Wait, you got those!
He's ringing!
He's ringing!
I like it.
Take that one.
Wait, wait, wait.
You couldn't break a sweat in a sauna.
What else?
What else?
You couldn't find a scoop in a nice cream store.
Ah!
It was $5.20.
It was $5.20.
It was $5.20.
Russell's right all along.
It was $5.20.
It was.
Again, you scoffed at that time.
You're right again.
What is your appreciation on this show?
It's been a bloody good month for you.
At her storeys.
A spot at the comedy festival.
And the Melbourne and the Orphan.
Oh, Daymo's on top of the world.
It would be four and zip.
And there's more to come at least.
And the Saints are going to be your own four.
Ah!
We haven't touched on the Saints yet.
We don't have to go in there, Daymo.
I'm worried, Joey.
I'm worried about what?
Zero and two.
But if they make a wall card, as I said, they've had a good year
and they can still make a wall card.
Because there's ten teams in the Daymo
and everyone gets a chance with ten teams.
Which means the drawer opens up a bit for them.
Yeah.
It joins some Brisbane.
No, it's not a problem in the middle.
Oh, is it Trouble in Sinkilda?
No.
It's two games into a three-year bill.
It's three each.
Oh, so not a three.
But a three-year window to a three-year window.
Oh!
A three-year window.
I mean, a three-year window.
Oh my god.
You've got to get the nerdy rock.
Joey, if you want to be good at cheating, you're all going on.
Let me read the notes.
Ross set again.
A three-year window to be a two-bit copper.
Oh!
Oh!
Oh!
Oh!
Oh!
Oh!
Oh!
Oh, my god.
I can't read his writing.
Oh, save you.
Oh, save you.
Yeah, save you.
Because we're going to get to Daymo.
It's just counting the bill.
It's counting the bill.
Oh!
Fanique Malfour Garzi is still to come.
But up next, Daymo.
We're going to head to Essendon with your news and potentially a new contract offer
for their former captain, Zach Merritt.
This is Triple M40's Midwikrub, Joey, Daisy and Daymo.
This is the Midwikrub.
Daymo has been pressed to the elbow of my brain work that I could see it.
Still bet you once again, isn't it?
Triple M rocks footy.
Fanique Malfour Garzi and your round two predictions.
Still to come on Triple M40's Midwikrub at Daymo.
It is time for some news.
Let's start at Essendon, potentially a new contract offer for Zach Merritt.
Well, Essendon, by the reporting of Kel Tumi yesterday, and even pride to yesterday,
a couple of weeks ago, mooting the possibility of giving Zach Merritt a fresh deal
to consider to keep him to stay.
Now, we know what happened in last year's trade period where they just said no
to the offer of three first round selections from the Hawthorne 40 Club.
And that deal fell through.
We then get to round one of 2026 and Essendon gets belted by Hawthorne.
And I know that Zach Merritt is still contemplating a way out of Essendon.
And there's a lot to play out here.
There's still 22 matches remaining of this season.
But as he's doing that, the club and probably in its wisdom has brought forward
the considerations around that this year by giving him something to consider
that takes in 2027 to which he's already contracted and beyond for probably three to four years
at 1.1 to 1.2 million, as per Kel Tumi's reporting.
So I feel that it's going to be something that's well known to the club
long before the trade period this year, as opposed to last year, that where Zach will be.
And I think it's smart business.
And equally, I think it's a good scenario for Zach to use the early parts of 2026
to get his head around it totally so that come trade period,
we're going to know one way or another before it even starts.
If he goes elsewhere, what's he going to be paid?
Similar?
Arguably more than that, I would think.
So there's a chance that he could go somewhere else for more.
And from what we saw on the weekend, he would be staying at a side that isn't going to compete
in the future that he signs for two or three years, whatever it may be.
So there's a chance that he could go somewhere for success on more money.
Yep.
And Essendon, think they're an outside chance of keeping him.
That's the scenario days.
And I think I'd be shocked.
Like when you put it like that, he's already wanted away.
Yeah.
He would have had to drastically change in his mindset and internally.
That's where I look because I got no issue if he wants to be a one-club player and wants to be an all-time Essendon great,
but to your point five months ago, he'd made the decision that I've carried this club.
I now want to go play the successful team and you can't begrudge him for that.
So it's going to be strange for me to think that five six months later, he's going to turn around and say,
no, no, I'm now prepared to do the heavy lifting again and carry this team through a rebuild.
It's a dramatic turnaround in his mindset, which I find hard.
And for me to get my head around, you know, yeah, exactly right.
And it's interesting.
Particularly when you line up the very first game of the new arrangement or the rearranged arrangement,
as in round one for Essendon, 2026, was a game's tall thought, and they got belted.
And the game was over before half time effectively.
So I agree with you.
Back to your point about the money days.
This is part of, I believe, the overall considerations of Zach that he signed a deal,
rightly or wrongly, that had him massively unders compared with his abilities
to other people in the competition.
There's a lot of players getting a lot more money than him.
And there's very few, I think, who have got a CV as he is.
Six-time more best and furious.
It just shows how desperately Essendon need him.
But Essendon desperately needs Zach Merritt.
He's by far and away still their best player.
He's going to win his seventh best and furious this year.
He'll probably win another couple before they start the climb the ladder.
So that just shows that it's up to Zach Merritt, whether he really needs Essendon
and wants to go through the heavy lifting again or whether his mind is still set, as you said,
which was five months ago that he wants to play for some success.
I've been critical of Zach in terms of his media appearances because what he says into a microphone
is very different to what he's done behind the scenes.
And that's just my opinion.
I don't back away from it.
But I raised it today days in that equally, Essendon just has not provided him
a sufficient enough environment.
I've field or on field for him to want to commit long-term at this stage.
Yeah, that's harder for me to judge on because I haven't seen what goes on
literally behind the closed doors.
And you can only sort of go off from surface or face value of him wanting away
and the reasons that he cited.
But I think arguably in the end of it is come down to success.
So that is the part that the club may have the most control on as to how you go
and what you do with draft picks if you've used them correctly.
I think we can all agree that they've had a few misses in that area
and that's why they find themselves in the predicament they do.
But yeah, behind closed door stuff, it's hard to mention or talk about.
We saw what happened drastically adversely to the Sydney Swans last year
when Errol Gordon was out of it for injury reasons.
And we're now about to see that again for a different reason.
Last year it was an ankle.
This year it's a shoulder that was dislocated last weekend.
And is now I think today being operated on.
He's going to be out for a four-month time frame.
It's a massive setback for club that started pretty well in 2026 on the back of his form.
Yeah, it is, but I think if this club is serious
and I think they can show some metal and go, we're better than just, you know,
missing Errol Gordon in our season falls apart.
I think when you look at their profile, they've got a lot of players that have played a lot of footing out.
They've played a lot together.
Mills is fit and healthy.
Pat Lee's fit and healthy.
They've got others that are stepping up.
I think they need to show that they've got some real steal about them.
And they can continue to win games without Errol Gordon.
And then it's a bonus when he gets back second half of the season.
The concern is though for this, the reasons you state.
Like last year they fell away when he wasn't there and then when he came back
because of the way he plays, he connects the field.
He can make the kicks that not many, not on any side, but the competition can make.
So to try and find someone to replace that and if your whole summer or most of it has been around
him having it 20 times and that's part of your ball movement,
it looks vastly different when you give it to somebody else who goes for the kick turns it over.
And then that's a score against rather than a progressive chain up the field.
Friday night, Adelaide Cros versus Western Bulldogs Adelaide Oval.
But the story within the story where I want to focus today is the Sam Darcy versus Rolly Phil Thorpe.
Now I say versus, they've got to be at other ends of the ground, either end of the ground.
But the boom on both these guys and the fact that neither of them is I think got near scratching the surface
of what they're going to become, it's compelling storyline going into what's a massive game of 40
from last year's top off ladder home in Oasis and team Adelaide Cros.
And the Western Bulldogs, you've started really well and believe they can win a
premiership in 2026.
Proper excitement.
Yes, it's fun.
The Cros were good enough against the pies they showed a bit without being at their absolute best.
And the dogs have been white hot.
So if for your points there's that storyline, you've got the midfielders as well.
You've got Aaron Norton who's in some pretty nice touch as well.
But you know, if the author of this continue going to continue to be better,
I'd love to see him play like a Sam Darcy with taking it the highest point.
I still think he sort of just gets the little T Rex arms out at times.
And that's easy to spoil, you know, Sam Darcy.
I can visualize that when the arms go up and you're getting a free kick for a chop or you're marking it.
The matchups down there are going to be fascinating too because the defensive,
the Cros is an overly tall comparative to a bloke who's 208 or whatever Darcy is.
So there's going to be opportunities.
So a lot's going to fall on the midfield and how the ball comes in.
And that's the beauty of the way the footies being played at the moment.
Damage, we can get excited again for these forwards that they can kick it back.
That it is absolutely more than that more than possible.
So that's exciting to watch two of the best key forwards in the competition going on.
It could be back to six goals at one end from the four six seven eight six seven eight six eight six eight six seven at the other end.
Yeah.
Sorry.
You're forcing to say that.
Yeah.
But even these two made in Aaron Norton who speaking of six did that last week.
And yeah, I think Ben King's having a really nice patch of form too.
We're in that big forward sense.
You would have seen days and had regularly commented on the clean skin nature of Scotty Pendlebury's time in the game.
And after 427 matches, the tribunal sees it that way too.
Throwing out the charge that was this initially leveled against him by the match review office for the clash with Warhol from last weekend's game.
That was a one week ban according to the MRO as of the tribunal.
The good bloke factor kicks in free to play.
Which I thought it was going to get sort of more downgraded than what it did because the impact was still left at medium.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And fan guilty of the.
It's a one week.
Yeah.
Oh, I just don't think it was a suspendable offense.
I don't know either.
But I think they bring into each other.
Pendlebury saw him first and just braced for contact because he was able to see him in the peripheral brace.
I've been big on that.
And it's not a bump.
It's not a suspendable offense.
So I'm glad he's playing anyway.
But I just wouldn't have thought he should have been a fan guilty in the first part.
Just the like I'm 100% on ball with you.
But then once it gets to the tribunal and then it's still at that level.
Yeah.
And then you have to start going, well, my basketball background I didn't actually get suspended either.
How many of us got suspended the other day?
In June.
Yeah, basketball.
Did it play basketball?
Yeah.
Why was either that a cough ball?
Well, he's not playing this week because the pies have the buy.
He's coming up soon on Triple M40 Speedwik Hub with Joey Daisy and Daymo.
This is the midweek rub.
We like it when some of you do a clip.
Yeah, they do.
They do.
Triple M rocks 40.
There's his Triple M40's midweek rub.
Don't forget, if you're watching us on YouTube, make sure you hit this subscribe button.
You can get all the best of Triple M40.
I think that's the subscribe button as well.
I've not seen this as such on the midweek rub.
It's...
Oh.
Oh, he had too easy for Garzi. It's a wasier. It's a wasier.
Fetting off for Garzi, he subscribes a hard word to say. Fetting him.
Yeah.
Uh, Daisy, I'm going to start with you.
Mizziah Wanganine Miller, I being left on the bench in the fourth quarter in the loss to Melbourne,
is an overreaction. For Garzi, you get your best players on the ground for as long as possible
to win the game. I take you back 12 months to a game where Sincilda needed to win,
and Nassai was left on the ground and he sprouted wings and became a superstar.
And won the game off his own back, flummoxed.
I agree with you. Do you have any insight, Joey?
Uh, was it management or anything?
It was just a normal rotation. There is a overreaction to the time.
He just went off at the 11.45 on the clock, came back on with 7.42 on the clock.
It's just a normal rotation, but I get that there's a...
But the timing... He went off at 11.45.
No, no, I've continued the timing of it like that's when the game was arguably won.
Yeah, they'll 10 points down at that stage.
Yeah, I mean, he came for a rotation.
Probably speaks more to this now, this Messiah complex that Nass has to stay out there
and win the game for Sincilda, and if it's not him, it's nobody.
That's probably what's made this story.
Does he want to say that?
It's just a normal rotation.
Does he would have gone a full forward?
Yeah, there you go. It's, you know, if...
And that's what Nass should have demanded.
Yeah. Put me... I understand this is how we go,
but on the highest paid player at this football club,
you've paid me that because I can win your games,
watch me go and do it.
Damo, the AFL needed to, uh,
contracts with the state leagues of cricket around the country
because 16 days and 15 games into the season is too late
for the first games to be played in SA and WA.
Well, you've made a couple of statements there.
I'll give a fair dinkum on the latter of the two statements.
That being the two longer gap in those states.
But the AFL making contracts with cricket,
I mean, historically AFL didn't get access to the grounds
until basically either very late March or really April.
So they've already bought real estate
in that calendar month of March
that wasn't traditionally there in the contracts.
And there's a bit of goodwill that's actually been required
for that to happen.
So it's a deeper, complex story.
But back to your second point,
yeah, we need ball matches.
They must say we, the game needs ball matches
in those states early in the season.
Joey, Justin Longmeer was comments on opening round
a spot on. He just chose the wrong time to say it.
Uh, probably fair dinkum.
First of all, I think the comments are right.
There is an advantage for the teams that have played.
I don't think Justin Longmeer was implying
that they lost because of that.
But it is an advantage.
I always find a hard day.
I mean, you've been in these press conferences.
When a coach has asked a specific question
and they answer it.
And then it almost sort of gets used
against them like it's a,
it's a tactic to deflect
and those sorts of things.
But I mean, it's, it's a tough one, isn't it?
He seemed ready to answer, didn't he?
And I think he wanted to get his point out.
And I'm with you.
I think it's a very pertinent point
to the overall debate about
how these matches look early in the season.
That equally, he may have in hindsight
had been better off raising it on the Monday or Tuesday
when he does his weekly conference.
Yeah.
Daisy with scores of only 78 and 79.
The pies should have kept one of my checked or Cox.
For Garzy, I think they're going to try
and obviously play that game
that isn't getting absolutely blown away.
And the longer the season goes,
historically, scoring comes down.
So maybe they're already there.
But they need to find more avenues to goal
is fairly good.
And the scoring not so much issue.
Daymo, it's only round two,
but Brisbane need the buy.
That's fairly good.
Given the problems they've now got
with both injury and suspension.
And it's come quickly, both injury and suspension.
And it was only three weeks ago
when we were previewing the season
that we looked at it and thought
there's going to be 10, maybe 11, 12 players each week
who are worthy of the game of football
but just cannot crack it for a game in that team.
Well, now we know they're down to 25, 26 already.
So yeah, good timing.
Joey, a bit of a reverse of what Daisy just said.
The dogs don't need to worry about their defense
if they kick a hundred points every game.
Well, that is fair, Lincoln.
They'll beat 15, 16 teams.
If they keep keeping a hundred points,
it's just come September.
Does the offensive angle stand up?
What do they still need to be able to hold up defensively
when you're playing against the very best
who can also score the other way?
That's their only challenge,
but love the way they're playing.
Been a while, Daymo,
but someone will kick a hundred goals this season.
I forgot to mention,
Arthur Garzi, because Jeremy Cameron
had the greatest opportunity to do so last year,
I was all in on that and desperately want someone
to be added to the list of centurions,
but while there's been a good start
to the goal-kicking this year,
King's a chance, Norton's up there,
but no, it won't be happening.
Joey, you'd rather be St. Kilda fan than an Essendent fan.
Fed, Lincoln.
Yeah, Fed, Lincoln.
Cameras are on.
Fed, Lincoln.
Did you pause?
No, I was just thinking about it.
And winced.
One flag and 160 years, Daymo.
No, you'd be rather be a sainer.
No, that'll be okay in the long run.
Daymo, you'd rather be an Essendent fan than a West Coast fan.
For Garzi, there's no chance
that I'd like to direct for, isn't it?
I'll leave it there, Daisy.
That's a North Melbourne Essendent
sitting up there.
He's still exited.
There's 150 years of hatred.
I don't read too much into it.
Why do you hate Essendent?
Daisy, Daymo being left
out of the Herald Sun.
Top 50 power people in the AFL is insulting.
Fed, Lincoln.
Yeah, out of the top 10.
Oh, what I thought.
It's also insulting.
This is the number one newsbreaker
at Triple M in the last month.
And funny.
And quite funny.
No, but oh, seriously, it's top 50, please.
We're walking upstart to that any day of the week.
Except that day when the paper came up.
Starting with you, or staying with you, Daisy.
Please.
Dyson Sharp, please.
Doesn't need this sort of pressure hanging over him.
First disposal, Ash.
A Dyson Sharp.
Triple M to its spot on Joey.
Nice contested mark.
Start the career.
Quite built for an 18.
He's a good, isn't he?
He's a good size, yeah.
Comes out an essay.
Pick number 13 in the last year's draft.
It's justly not pay the mark.
So you should cap down to this 25-year-old Jack.
You can book that comment.
He will cap down to the Essendent football club.
And grill up an Essendent fan, too.
Barry, from all reports.
Fantastic, good call, Joey.
Cool.
Fagazi, I like it.
Nikita has been a leader at a lot of the clubs that he grew up playing.
And from the research I did speaking to the coach of Central's where he played.
Got a bit of rap bag about him.
I touched on on the Seven Broadcast.
We're seeing double parked at a striker's game over the preseason.
Any time you get double parked away on National TV?
Double parked.
Damon, our man, Joey, needs to grow up.
Hawks, 55, 35, that's a great score.
I need to get 55, 55, 35.
And the ball is 4-3-7.
I'm easily amazed.
Is that your favourite fully scored?
It is.
I reckon no one said that better than the Great Little Riches.
It's 55, 55.
You didn't ask me my favourite, Jack.
That's your favourite, Joe.
10, 9, 69.
Oh, yeah, that's it.
What?
That's Joey.
That gets to be your favourite.
What is why is that?
I don't know.
That was just the number that you always can't be counted.
10, 9, 10, 69.
You could have said 10, 8, 68.
That's not even for you.
That's not even for you.
Why would you say it?
To 8, and 8.
It's not even for you.
Ah, that's 10, 7, 67.
It was so fun.
Between you and Jasper,
I'm worried about what's going on in this session.
All right, we've got one more.
This one's for you, Joey.
I'm going to play you a bit of audio of Chewman from preseason.
You're going to meet that Chewman.
No, I thought about getting one back in 95.
If Nord won the flag,
I didn't know it was 96, but I didn't feel it was going to be right.
TVA win 10 games is here too.
I'll get a sleeve.
You'll get a sleeve, absolutely.
Oh, there you go.
You heard it here first.
Paddockham or Fagazis.
North win 11 games.
Our man, Damo, needs to join Chewman in the tattoo parlour.
Well, Damo won't do that,
but I'm looking forward to Chewman getting a sleeve.
He's got some guns on him too, Chewman.
He puts some size on Damo like you.
He's being pushed in some steel.
He's got some arms, say.
Pep Todd's.
Oregon Chewman and Chewman with a sleeve will look good.
Well, they might be one fifth of the way there because I got West Coast this weekend.
We'll get your tips for round two next on Triple M40s midweek rub.
This is the midweek rub.
That can be described as one thing or one thing only.
That is a genuine brain fart.
Triple M rocks footy.
This is Triple M40s midweek rub with Joey, Daisy and Damo.

Round two, Joey kicks off tomorrow night.
It is a huge game at the MCG Hawthorne versus Sydney.
Looking forward to this one, be a great game.
As I said earlier when we're chatting about the swans,
I think I'd love to see them show a bit of resolve
and say that they can still win without Errol.
And probably Isaac Haney as well who won't play.
It'll be an upset but I think they will show their stuff
and I'm going to tip an upset Sydney to beat the Hawks.
I'm going against the swans
because of the golden factor.
And we also, as we talk, expect Haney to miss as well.
So I just think it's too big a personal loss for the swans.
So Hawks for me.
They are hard to get a gauge on what the Hawks have done.
The giants are very poor, beat the bombers
and we're not sure how they're going.
And the swans have ticked two big boxes.
The two outs make me lean slightly towards Hawthorne.
Their forward half intercept game is elite,
even in the loss to the giants.
So for that reason, I'll tip them but in a closer one
than probably the bookies have it.
Dama, we're here to Adelaide over for the first time this year
on Friday night, another massive game.
Adelaide Crows versus the Western Bulldogs.
I like the Crows.
I like what they did against Collingwood last week.
And again, we're not going to know if they're going to rectify
what happened disastrously.
And last year's finals until they make this year's finals.
But along the way, as they proved last year,
they were the best home and away team.
And I think as such, they will get the Bulldogs
and have a win there.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to we get the answers a little bit
about what the Western Bulldogs have improved on through their midfield,
which is helping out the defence,
which is going to be up against it against the big tools of Adelaide.
If Sam Darcy kicks five or more,
the dogs will win and I don't think he will,
so I'm tipping the Crows.
I'm going for, is it an upset who's favourite in this one?
I think the dogs, I like the dogs.
I like the dogs a lot.
Yeah, it's a toss to the coin, but I like the way the Western Bulldogs are playing.
I think they are going beautifully.
It wasn't convinced Adelaide's first up when it was, oh,
Kagan's calling it, so I think the Bulldogs keep rolling.
Daisy Thomas, we head to the MCG again on Saturday Richmond,
who almost did it again last week against the Blues.
They're up against the Barnstorm and Gold Coast Suns.
If this was at Marvel, which this picture was last year,
and there was a big upset,
I may be leaning towards that,
but not within many, many points.
Gold Coast Suns comfortably.
Gold Coast need to get used to playing at the MCG.
I think we'll be seeing them there a bit more over the next few years.
They will beat Richmond comfortably.
Agree.
The Giants still injury-ridden.
They are up against your Saints, Joey Montagna.
I smell an upset.
I smell the Saints.
I don't think that's what you smell on that.
You smell on the waft that's coming from the club.
Handing out pegs with memberships.
They have to find a way to win this game,
and I'm giving them one last chance.
I think it's going to be closer than what the markets may suggest, but Giants for me.
If the Giants didn't get smacked,
I'd be more confident in it being closer.
The Giants.
Three man or versus Malvin.
You're a three.
On Saturday, Daymo.
Dockers for me.
I love what Melbourne did,
but I just, I like what the dockers did for two and a half quarters against your long-side dockers.
Dockers.
They'll be fun to watch, but I think they'll get some scores kicked on them.
So I think three man or should be winning this at home.
Port Adelaide versus Essen and Daisy Thomas.
A lot more intrigue about this one now.
There's a few noises being made,
and maybe some thumbs downs are outside.
Jeez, both were poor.
Yeah.
This one at home.
Okay.
Port ad home is the only reason I'm going for Port.
Oh, Zach butters is better than Zach Merritt.
So I'll go for Port Adelaide to win this game,
because there he needs a couple of good players on the field.
No, that's not fair.
Port should win.
Of course, Brisbane, Collingwood, Couton,
all have a buy.
So the last game of the round is West Coast Eagles versus North Malvin,
Danny and Barrett.
It'll be Tuesday.
Get the ink ready.
I'm with him.
North should be winning.
I see continual improvement and to start to...
Head toward 11 wins in the year.
And it'd be fun if they get beaten to see Danny next Wednesday.
No, great. North Malvin.
Before we finish up, one big call for the round.
Joey, last week, you said Jake stringed a kick six.
He kicked none,
and the Giants lost by seven.
Close.
This week, they'll definitely get, as I said earlier.
A Giants only kick seven, I should say.
St. Silence, the data is,
Nas best on ground, St. Kilda,
with the upset, and as I am winging in Miller after three votes.
I've got to leave Damo for a second.
Daisy.
I know he's laughing at that one.
Daisy, you said the cats will be 0 and 2.
That's a no.
I was not far off though.
Still a no.
My big call is we'll see the true discrepancy between the best
and the lower sides this week,
with the tigs and the days getting big reality checks.
Damo, last week, you said Malvin will push St. Kilda.
And that is a big tick.
So from two, Damo.
Yes.
Pendles will be best on ground opening round,
which he nearly was.
51% game.
All right.
I'm going to go for a six-goal for Sam Darcy versus a six-goal
for Rolly Filthorpe Friday night game.
Adelaide Kroes, the Western Bulldogs.
12 for Twinum, six each.
Bring it on.
We can catch that game,
