Erlacar would chase you down. There was a difference. But they couldn't put together. Erlacar was not a hitter. Like a guy that would destroy people. Buckis was that type of player. And as far as Buckis being 35, that's a joke. I dare kids, these people, who must have done doing that? That's a joke. Sayers 39 is a joke. That Buckis is top 10. I'm sorry. 2:03You got Aaron Donald A. You got Peyton Manning 9. You got Mahomes 10. Ray Lewis 11. Barry Sanders. Barry Sanders 12. Joe Greeder. And Walter Peyton. Walter Peyton. I don't want to waste my time. Walter Peyton's 14th. Who? Yeah. Walter Peyton's 14th. They took Barry Sanders out of Goldine Place. He wasn't even good enough. And for two, three years Corey Slussinger was the guy that they would bring in the battering. Because he lost more yards as a running bat than any man in the industry of the game. But you know what? It's just those things are joke. I don't look, unless it's like from the players standpoint, then I go, hey, all right, this guy said, like, hey, hear all the players talk about Larry Byrne or Michael Jordan. And they tell great stories and what these two guys did to them. That's who I get it from. That's who I get it from. The actual cats that happen to solve.

3:05But this just cheerleading thing. Here's the thing. I want to tell you, if you want to have male cheerleaders, have them like they do in college. Or in what world does that? What do you mean? Don't dress them up as chicks. Give them their own gear and all that, right? Like they do in college. Or if you want to hire four or five guys, the back street boys and those groups in sync and the temptations, they all did dances. They didn't dance like Tuesday weld. OK, they danced like men. They danced like men. Now, when they put this in front of Roger Gidell and they showed them the picture. Here's one of the cheerleaders. Do you think we should do this? He's got primes and he's like this. OK, all right. What do you think? And Roger Gidell thinks that men dance like this.

4:06That's how he perceives in his head. So this is becoming a big issue for you here. I'm seeing like, you're talking about Jalen Hertz, being a tough quarterback and everything I've got to look over there. And then you look over and you see a guy in a dress with paw palms, right? That's your problem right now, right? Is that what you're saying? I don't understand how you can hand a man with take a pair of palm palms. I mean, do like the back street boys did dance like the temptation, dance like my father. He danced like this. What? He's he never moved his legs. That's how men dance cheerleaders in Philly, male, hands like paw palms. And they got a great cheerleady crowd too, man. I see his talent. They're great these women. But the guy, I don't get the guy. The guy comes out and he does his little dance.

5:07I saw Minnesota. I saw Minnesota's guys and they got palm palms off of it. Good job. That's so good. He looks good to me. Real nice. That is the NFL. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. And nobody said, and you're offered, you think we should say something? Are there any male cheerleaders with the bears? No. But we didn't have female cheerleaders. For a junior, I like that. I like that too also. Hey, look, we're a football team here. We're not cheerleading. We go down play football here. I like that. I said, I wrote it down. When I saw the, the Eagles, I think, yeah. I wrote it down for the show team. I'm going to bring that up. Mike, what's the latest going on there? Have you heard anything new on the stadium and all that? No, that's done for a while. But they're trying to keep it low key because the season starts next week. We're getting ready. I'm worried about the first game already. I mean, you know, so that Carolina, they're not going to be easy.

6:07No. I mean, they played the ramps to the death last year. I mean, you know, so I'm saying the mic's up. They beat the Packers last year too. Yeah, we're two and a half points. I mean, two and a half points, Brad. You kidding me? Wait a minute. I thought we're going to the Super Bowl over here. You know, and I'm already because nobody knows what's going to happen. We're getting what your expectations for them this year. Why I'd like to see them finish first. I'd like to see the passing game get better. But we're worried here. I mean, in Chicago, we're worried because of our defense. I really believe the best player on our defense ended up getting hurt. Kobe Bryant. And he's out for the season. So that was a damaging blow. And we have no receivers have caught a ton of balls. So we've got new receiving court. DJ Morris gone, but we're excited. We'll see what happens. Now they got to line up all the big talks over. OK. I see that your guy, our guy, my guy. Why does he's my guy? He's really not your guy. He's not Sanders guy. No, Jay one hurts my guy. And if anybody knows Jay went with lips near him,

7:10tell him Mike North on the big sales show stands up for weekly. It's almost. But now I'm hearing like I got to hear that Chris Sims says, well, they finished 29th and passing. And nobody ever did it first. So OK, but they did it. And can it can only go so far. Well, wait, but Mike, you can't be a caboose on a you can't be a caboose on a bus ride. You know, you can't be a long as you're not the I mean, in 2024, the guy was at the engine. He was the caboose on that train that the driver of that engine was sick one. Barkley. He went for two grand. Then he went for 2700 yards. I've never heard of a quarterback leading a football team with Super Bowl throws for 29 hundred yards in 18 touchdowns. The last time I heard that was Sid Gilliam back in 19. I did it. But it's funny. Barkley didn't take any heat last year. It hurts. So if the beat all end up to the figure before and got all the praise and the Campbell suit commercials, where was big sales to fire on Barkley?

8:12Because I don't remember you getting on his ass when he underperformed badly this year. You know what everyone in Philadelphia's excuse was? The old line was injured. Oh, for Christ's sake. Yeah. Oh, no, you should hear that's the big. Yeah. OK, but the excuse would be the year before because the old line was healthy. The open hole for it. That a guy that a truck could drive through. Yeah. And they lost Kelsey too. But I'm just I get ready. I like the bears and the Eagles. I that's it. I get focused on those two because I want to see this kid get to another, you know, get to another playoff playoff round. Philadelphia is going to be fine. I make sure I think that division's got some questions. Jaden Daniels. Is he going to be back to form? Is Dallas finally going to get off over the home? And can Philadelphia continue to work its magic and then into the playoff? There's a lot of intriguing questions in that division. Big time. Mike, I had somebody that wanted me to ask you this that was a former person that lived

9:16in Chicago. And he said this to me, he goes, sales ask Mike North this because this is what all my friends in Chicago are feeling right now. There's a buzz going on in Chicago right now. And it's with the Cubs. And it's with PCA. Yes. And everybody is now energized. Yes. With that baseball team and it's energizing the city. In a time when you just said, they're starting the football season next week. Yeah. But yet the Cubs have kind of grabbed the city's attention. Is that fair? Yes, there. And PCA, I called him as MVP mid June on my ESPN 1000 show with. And I just saw O'Connie starting to not slip, but he wasn't pitching. Bob, Bob, Bob, he's eating one. I get it. But even what John Smote said the other night. For PCA to beat O'Connie, he had to put together one hell of a year.

10:18And he said, that's the one he put that together. The Cubs are buzzed. The White Sacks are in the playoff. I'll say, if it ends today, there are three games in. The Bears are a backseat right now. Now, next Sunday, the Bears will not be a backseat. OK. And if the Bears lose next Sunday, then Monday's headlines won't be the Cubs, you know, big diss of the socks, the deck. The B- it's still a bear count. But we are excited here because we have two baseball teams so far that could get into the playoffs. The Cubs kind of for game lead in the wild turn. That's not safe. You still got 20, 20, 20, 20. I've seen teams lose four or five games in a week. And then you got the White Sacks or three games up in first and Cleveland's losing today. So the wild card races have been tremendous for baseball. And I didn't want, I liked it when they had the three division winners and a one wild card in each. I liked it when they had eight. It was special. But now you've got all these teams that are jockeying to get into the wild card race.

11:20And the Cubs right now are behind Philadelphia. They wouldn't get the advantages that you'd get if you were the first seed in the wild. Mike, I tell you though, I don't feel the same. Not listen, I know after the fact, we know the story now. It's a whole different conversation now. You really think that PCA has the same storyline going that Sosa had back in the day. Now, be fair before you answer, there was also McGuire involved in that. So you had another guy that was involved. It was a home run chase. Man, I remember Wrigley Field in Chicago. They were going nuts over this guy. Mike, but the juice in Chicago was for, hey, you want to. Oh, yeah, juice at the time, but everybody was in denial. He ruined the record books. I look, everybody know, I like Sammy. I interviewed him with the sax when he was 180 pounds. He ended up 225.

12:21He never looked, Mark, you asked Mark, Mark Grace never saw him lift the weight. Okay? So he's a fraud. And so it was McGuire. I don't understand. I think I'd like to sit down with Barry Bonds and ride your club. I really would and say, wow, easy. It's easy because you wanted to be the home run team. No, no, it's easy, Mike. Here's why. Well, when those guys started juicing, okay, when those guys started juicing, whatever that was, what happened was they looked at it and said, do I want the Hall of Fame or do I want a quarter of a billion dollars in my pocket? And they chose the quarter of a billion dollars to have that in their pocket to extend their careers. Because if you look at the numbers from the ages of 37 through the times of day 45, they were unbelievable. Nobody has ever seen and nobody's seen it to this day.

13:23But wait, they looked, what they did was they compromised. They go, okay, screw your Hall of Fame. I'm going to take the quarter of a billion dollars. I did. I will say this, yeah, the reason I said clummings and balances, they were already on their weight in a half day. They were and they had, and they would have gotten their, oh, I see, you're saying, why would you compromise? Well, because so, so, so the one player out of everybody, I exposed, I'm the one who exposed flannins and I exposed so early. But so is the one depended on fit the most because he was scrawny. He was never going to be what he was. And boom, one day he woke up, bonds just looked like a freak. His trainer went to jail because he would not testify. It's on murky. I feel bad because Frank Robinson was a fabulous ball player.

14:25All these guys that did it without steroids were fabulous ball players and the records got skewed. So I only got some McGuire had acne. Hey, I had acne. So I understand what you're saying, Dan. It just was a bad, it's a bad scene and it screwed up the record books, but that's okay. I mean, baseball is going to strike next year. They're going to be gone and I'm going to miss the games because I watch games every night. I don't know what we're going to be doing during the summer time. I bought this, Mike. I'm going to give you another one here. I'll tell you what you do that. I'll tell you why Major League Baseball is also accountable for this. So Major League Baseball, the reason why they implemented a steroid policy, which they never had until 2003. I think it was right. The reason why they never implemented it. All of a sudden now, the highest paid position in baseball became what? The D H. The D H was starting to make an excess of $15 million.

15:26All of a sudden, you're starting to pay for a guy who was hitting you 32 home runs. Guess what? You were paying back then 10 million. Well, when a guy's hitting 42 to 50 home runs, you know what you're doing? You're paying that guy 20 million. Well, Major League Baseball owners went all up. We're paying for these inflated numbers. We're going to implement a steroid policy. So then after that, when they saw attendance and viewership go down, what did Baseball and the owners do? They juiced the bats, these torpedo bats, then they started juicing the baseball because they wanted the numbers to go back up again. Yeah. I mean, at the end of the day, Mike, you know what, Major League Baseball is also accountable. Oh, I'm not, I'm not having a steroid policy. Yeah, I don't want to. I understand, but it was a federal law back in 92, 93. It was, it was, it was, especially when I understand where you're coming from. I understand where you're coming from on that. And so, but you know what? Do I think these guys took, yes, I do. Of course, listen, and they like the Congress.

16:26They purged themselves. Okay, so, so here's the thing. Bond's hitting, let's just say 52 home runs one year. Well, I'd say about 10% of those are probably going to be warning track shots. So then you're probably talking about 40, which he was hitting anyway earlier in his career. So I mean, that's probably what it did. It added probably 10 to 15 more, 10 to 15%. We got walked so many times because they knew that he was, you know, plus the armor he was wearing at that time. Hey, date, he figured it out. That's fine. They're not in the hall of fame. And none of them should be in the name. Right. I don't understand how he'll never, he'll never be. I don't know how he keeps getting perks, get jobs and major major league baseball. You're the biggest fraud of a law. And you're, you're the main announcer. So I know they overlook and then they put them on the desk with, oh, it's ridiculous. With jeanery's on the desk. He's with jeanery's with big, happy. He's another guy. I mean, you never know what he was doing. It's crazy. Absolutely, man.

17:26So, hey, give me, do this for me. Give me your top 10 NFL. Give me your, give me your, I don't want to go that deep with you. Give me your top four NFL teams right now, heading into this year that you're looking at to make some noise that could possibly win a Super Bowl. Well, what I've been doing is getting rid of teams that, okay, that people like. I heard Adam Shine from the CBS network. No, I'm well. And he's a really, I think he's a good, good, good, good radio guy. He said he doesn't think because the Packers have issues. Let's face it. He doesn't think the Packers are going to win more than six games. Now, I wouldn't go that far, but you're basing things on Josh Jacobs with this situation. You've lost a couple players. The receiving court isn't all that good. I just happened to, I don't understand why the Packers wins are so high.

18:28I think that the first coach fired could be Dan Campbell at Detroit. And I'll tell you why last place, last year, if they get off to a two and five, remember how cute it was when he would kept going forward on four pounds the first year. I think them losing Ben Johnson took the aura off that side line that they had, even with Dan Campbell's, the head coach, it just didn't seem like the Detroit team last year. And I think people are putting a lot of pressure on golf and that organization, especially in that division to perform against. So I got Detroit and Green Bay right now tearing. I would say that everybody seems to like the New York Giants. And I'm going to tell everybody this right now. John Harbaugh was one of the most overrated head coaches who's ever called out. What? John Harbaugh in his career had 46 leads in the fourth quarter and lost. John Carbaugh in his career had 18 double digit leads in the fourth quarter and lost.

19:34John Harbaugh last year went for it on fourth down and came through 50% of the time and cost his team deep into the playoffs. I am telling people this right now, the New York Giants, John Harbaugh is going to look out there and he's not going to see Lamar Jackson. That's all I'm telling you because the Baltimore Ravens, if Danny looks it up with the hot John Harbaugh, our favorite, maybe the win it all at 10 and a half or 11 wins. No way. No way. Well, let me ask you something. I heard Lamar Jackson the other day he actually spoke glowingly of this offense and I'm looking at the Baltimore Ravens with over under 10 and a half wins without John Harbaugh. No way. No way. We'll see. No way. What do you think New York's going to do? I think New York wins six games this year. Yeah. I don't think that there anything that I'm going to look at. I don't think they're special at all.

20:35No, I don't. I don't think that's what I love about your team. Mike, I don't think that quarterback special. I'm with you 100%. I watched him. Look, the kid can run. Yeah. You do an option play with him, but they're telling him not to run. They're taking away one of his strengths because he's been in cost twice. Yeah. So I'm with you, Dan. I think that's that division. I think New York might be at the bottom of it. Yeah, let me let me give you another team, Mike. I love it. You give me other teams. What about what about the Patriots in your opinion? I'm rooting for him. And I'm not one of these guys. Well, see, Mike, they got rid of very Jay Brown. If they do good, no, I wanted to do England's a better football game. I told Danny that. You know, but Philadelphia is going to be good too. We'll find out early Drake Mase, the real deal from what I'm hearing in camps. They're saying that there was no flu class here. No, that's he's good. No, he is he is.

21:35He is. And so I like New England. The Rossini Brable stuff starting to eat up again. He'd up again. Well, because it's next Wednesday, you know, they're going to open. By the way, that's a good point, Mike. So the athletic comes out. By the way, the biggest. The biggest. The biggest fraudulent newspaper on the planet who gave us the Russia hoax for five or six years. Absolutely. It's trying to tell me conflict of interest. Are you crazy? So they found nothing. They just said there was small conflicts of interest in there. She did nothing wrong. I'm on Rossini side with this now. Wait a minute. You found nothing wrong with any of her work or anything that she did. She may have cozyed up a little bit the same way that Jake laser cozy's up for her to be able to get some intel. And you couldn't find anything with over 1100 videos and interviews that she ever did. And you're coming out with there may have been a conflict of interest

22:37because our practices and standards. And you're the New York Times. The New York Times. Mike is a fucking joke. Yes, it's like the national inquire. I'll tell you what. I'm like, when I was in New York, I saw well, first of all, the sports sections was it says always been athletic. Their sports section was the worst in all of all of newspapers. Chicago is blessed with the tribute and the sun. Yeah, they are. I've got the New York Times is horrid. New York Times is snooty. Type of situation when it comes to coverage sports. Chicago Times is legendary. Yeah, we've been labeled Rossini isn't going to go away. There's going to be stuff that, yeah, and Pete, she's going to. And I guess she thinks she can walk back in, but she's not going to walk it back into any major type of situation. I don't think but I guess what she got to be in already. Hey, Mike, you just got to say an a rod is getting all these gigs.

23:37Don't be shot. Don't be shocked if Diana Rossini ends up getting some type of big gig and getting back into a picture here where she gets into something here because if a rod could be a front and center guy of Fox, that's a change. I told the boss to buzz off once and now they can't do something like that. You know what I made? No doubt about it. Mike, Mike, instead of sporting news is top 10. Here's my top 10. Give me some good ones. Here's my top 10 NFL players of all time. Oh, okay. In in in order. Okay. Jim Brown one. Jerry Rice too. I got Lawrence Taylor three. I got Tom Brady four. I got Reggie White five. I got Walter Peyton six. I got Bucka seven. I've got Marino eight. I've got Montana nine. I've got United's 10 or L way.

24:38Yeah, that's a good one. I will say that well United's was unbelievable. He had like 140 straight games where he said he said what past he was today was Arnold Palmer with Arnold Palmer was to go off. Bet you. I'll tell you I'm going to give you a running back. I noticed that it's Smith's not on any of that list. No, he's right outside it, but I think only Doreset was a better running back than at for Dallas. Then I'm at Smith's was. Why? I really do. Look, he didn't run for as many. I ran for 12,000 yards. That's not chicken feet. Let's catch the ball. No. And and and Smith arguably had the greatest offensive landing history in front of him. I mean, that guy that right tackle there. He was like the handcock building for god's sake. Yep. Yep. I mean, it were real. Larry Allen. Larry Allen. Oh my god. You know, so I like this only, but see Joe Montana four superbows and Noah

25:40had no losses. No, you know, get this. Hey, get this in Super Bowl. Play. Here's Montana's numbers. Montana has 135 quarterback rating. Never threw a pick 16 touchdowns. He beat marino and L way in them super balls. I mean, and Lawrence Taylor just said recently, it's Montana's the go over Brady because when they played, Montana could still get mangled. Brady, I've said it on this show and other shows. You come back at his age. No, 30 years ago, you would have gotten killed because they could hit you throw you down pile drive you. He knew the rules. I'm not going to get hit. I'm and if I do, it's going to be very little. And that's why he's got seven wins and three losses. But Montana in the 80s, folks, with the bears, with the giants, with the red skis, for no. Boy, I'll tell you something. You like that, huh?

26:41No, no, yeah, you're dead on. And you could even make the comment what you just said. You know, Jimic man, can you imagine this back in the day? What's up, man? Who slammed? Who's the guy named Martin for the Packers? Yeah, he's a Martin. Charles Martin. Charles Martin. He slammed, he slammed Jimic man like the play was over, right? It was over by five seconds. That's the kind of shit you did back in the day. Yeah, yeah. Now, MacMahon could play under these rules and play for 20 years. I'll give you another one. You know, the ABS. I love the ABS. You got the Yom's gone. I'm retired. And how with this, we're getting humiliated, nightly. You know, hey, I might applaud enough. This is how they should do it. They think I'd pull another call right now I'm one and three. Let's see if the Greg Maddox with that ABS, oh my god, he has 250 wins maybe. He would have been chased in the fourth inning.

27:42He would have walked 10 batters. He used to get strikes like this. You got that ABS. You better be on that box, man. Otherwise, you're going to get clacked. And that's what we're going to have. I was talking to my partner, kind of the felt about that. He's an analytics guy and he's a younger guy. He says, the analytics, they got Maddox for the never one to games. He won with the ABS. No way, yes, they have that. No way, no way. They gave him the black the entire time. Oh my god. And that doesn't have to have the box. Yeah, no question. He won, you know, he won 355 ball games. I know. And he won a one 255 with the ABS. I'm not kidding, yeah, man. Man, I'll tell you what. So Mike, in closing here, PCA wins the MVP. Yes, sir. Oh, it's in. Oh, he takes over, Tony. Oh, he's in. He's the guy had the like the last 20 games have been like remarkable. Like what this PCA doing. You know, and you're just aching beyond. Hold on here. Wait, one last one here.

28:42Let me think. I like when you do that. All right, wait. In your lifetime, the Bears winning the Super Bowl in 85. Yeah. Or the Cubs winning the the World Championship with Joe Madden's guys. No. For you, what was the biggest moment in Chicago when the Bears won? I cried. I was like, let's. Wait, 62, 72. I was 33 years old. I mean, you're in your way, you know, my wife's come. They won, they won. I'm like, my dog's looking at me. You know, why you crying? I've gone mad since I was nine years old. I wanted to be on our team to be on that TV for the Super Bowl. I and we couldn't believe it. And there were no cars out. Everybody was indoors, you know, and I mean, it was like zero out. I mean, coverland amnesia busy thoroughfare through the northwest side of Chicago folks. When the games started, they showed that it's usually well-trapped.

29:45There's no cars. You could roll the bowling ball down the. I'm sure Philadelphia had air. Oh, yeah, when they won it when they won in seven days. Oh, when they wanted, you know, they, I mean, it's magical, you know, yes, but like when the Cubs won, I even went, but you have to team is like, man, you have to see these white socks. I, yeah, I get that. I guess so. Man, and I thought we're on the team. I thought, man, they put a statue up. I thought the cut. They be revealed. They want your fire. But oh, and I mean, he's out there. You want to change. He's like an afterthought now. They don't, they went like this. How dare you want to championship on my watch? No, they think more of Leo Derosia than they do him. Don't they? I mean, right? The 69 Cubs who blew it are still more popular than the 2016 Cubs. I'm not kidding. No, sorry. And Ronnie Sano and Billy Whee of somebody says there's Ben Zobras.
