Partnering with the local church, Horizons takes a boots on the ground approach, believing Ukrainians are the best equipped evangelist to their local neighbors. They minister through counseling services, evangelistic meetings, and children's camps. Why? Because the gospel is foundational for every rebuilding effort. And war continues to take its toll on the men who fight it, but Jewish believers are stepping into the pain to offer a god of peace. Pastor Israel Paktar says, Bait Helal congregation came together with churches around Israel to build up men torn down by war through prayer and Bible raiding. Paktar says men are struggling with fighting for months and then come back to life at home. Divorce rates have spiked, but the church is encouraging men to speak openly about their difficulties.
