Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody suffered a scary left knee injury late in overtime during

Monday night's game against the Dallas Mavericks.

The 23-year-old went up for a dunk with one minute and 13 seconds left, but his knee buckled

badly, sending him to the floor.

He had to be stretched off at American Airlines Center as playstopped for medical attention.

Some doctors treated him right there on the court, and gruesome videos of the injury quickly

spread online.

Moody waved briefly to the crowd before heading to the locker room for an x-ray.

His teammates rallied around him, offering support, while Stephen K. E. R. E. washed from

the bench with his head in his hands, still sidelined by his own.

Knee issue.

Coach Steve Kerr called it a tough moment, praising Moody as a hardworking teammate who

shone that night.

Dremon green echoed that, saying Moody stepped up big on defense and scoring to help turn

the game around.

Despite the loss of their key contributor, the Warriors pulled out a 137 to 131 victory.

Moody flew back with the team Tuesday night, and was set for an MRI the next day to figure

out the damage.

The win keeps Golden State in 10th place in the Western Conference, fighting for a play

in tournament spot amid a season full of injuries.

With Curry eyeing a postseason return, the Warriors now hope Moody's setback won't

derail their playoff push as they grind through the final stretch.
