Motor Neurone Disease: NSW takes world first step to track disease as cases rise

MND deaths in Australia have more than tripled in four decades, with researchers identifying geographic clusters of the disease. New South Wales is now the first jurisdiction in the world to make Motor Neurone Disease (MND) a notifiable disease, enabling systematic data collection to help uncover its causes and improve patient care.
