roll again next year.

Strider prays Straw for stepping up last season, noting how he managed a bigger workload than

Straw made his mark in his first year with Toronto by appearing in 137 games.

He hit 262 with a 313 on-base percentage and 367 slugging and 299 plate appearances proving

reliable without stealing the spotlight from the big bats.

This stood out most was Straw's glove work, carrying over from his gold glove days in

Cleveland.

He ranked in the 91st percentile for fielding run value and 97th for outs above average,

anchoring the Outfielder defense.
