NASA's Orion Crew Snaps Stunning Moon Shots

NASA just dropped the first stunning shots of Earth, snapped by the Artemis' second crew,

inside the Orion spacecraft.

These pics come from Commander Reed Wiseman and the team as they blast toward the Moon's

orbit about 250,000 miles out.

The mission kicked off April 1st from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, setting up a 10-day

loop that swings them past the Moon and back home.

Thursday night, Orion's main engine roared with almost 6,000 pounds of thrust, shoving

them free from Earth's pull and on track for that lunar.

Fly by.

The four-person crew includes pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch, and

Jeremy Hansen from the Canadian Space Agency.

They're testing systems for bigger Artemis steps ahead, like landing humans on the Moon

again.

Folks are buzzing online about these views, showing our blue planet shrinking against the

Black Void, a real reminder of how fragile home looks from.

This flight marks NASA's first crewed Orion trip since Apollo days, paving the way for

Artemis III's moon landing.
