We continue our coverage of the ongoing unrest in Los Angeles, where large-scale riots have broken out following federal immigration raids that began on June 6, 2025. What began as peaceful protests quickly escalated into widespread demonstrations, with some areas seeing looting, property damage, and confrontations between protesters and law enforcement.

In response to the growing unrest and calls from local and state officials for greater control, President Trump has authorized the deployment of the National Guard to restore order across Los Angeles County.
