It is obviously me, Sean, to tell Sean, tied up a more important Sean, tied up with a
lot of business, but I'm here joined by two incredible co-hosts today, and let's introduce
them right to left to right.
There we go.
Sorry, not my right.
The undefeated WBC featherweight champion of the world, Brownsville's own Bruce Shushu
Carrington, and to his right, the hardest working man in Las Vegas owns his own business.
Now holding it down, raising a beautiful family, the heart is sold of the Porterweight
podcast, Ant with Two T's.
I'm sorry, Bruce, I wound up giving him more.
It's alright.
He's concerned.
He's concerned.
He said, Ro, Joe, my kid, Shushu and I are red and black, like blood.
You know how you see how we doing in there?
I knew he wanted a cold sign.
Me and my wrinkly show.
We got the red one too.
The memo bro, what's up?
We sent you the text.
You from New York?
Yeah.
I could have worn the Niner show.
I still apologize for calling Brownsville Brownstone.
Yeah, man.
That was crazy.
I got a lot of calls about that man.
You better be a hooker.
I told him to chill out.
I want a prop.
Okay.
I told him to.
I want a prop in New York.
Alright fellas.
So we got, we could, you know, we could start with the design card and we'll get to
it shortly.
People want to hear Bruce and Ant chop down the fights myself as well.
But you know what?
Let's start with Bruce Carrington, man.
Let's start here, baby.
The newly minted WBC Featherweight Champion, you know, Bruce, it was about the fourth
to fifth time in the last couple of months.
You picked the fight perfectly that I said, yeah, this, this guy, he's got a serious future
in boxing media, broadcasting, whatever it is he wants to put his mind to in that field.
And you know, we got guys like Andre Ward, Roy Jones, Jr. George Foreman back in the
day, Paulie Malinagy, right?
Will Marquez, Tim Bradley, Showtime, Sean Porter, of course, Antonio Tarver.
We got a lot of guys who've been championed that, that could really do this.
And that's without having to go to school and all that, they, they were made to, to do
this just like they fought.
And I think if the boxing world doesn't know, we got our next guy up that, that can be
of that caliber.
No doubt about it.
Thank you.
Um, but right now he's focused on fighting, but he took, he doesn't got to fight coming
up just now.
So he's got time to talk boxing, Bruce, man, uh, why don't you talk about at some point
your goals and, uh, and as being a media member and yeah, how you want to go about that?
I mean, you know, to be honest, I really want to be able to, you know, have my own podcast,
uh, commentate.
I have a lot of fun doing it.
I feel like there's not too many things that I've done in my life that I can like really
gravitate towards like boxing, obviously is one, is one of them, um, you know, breaking
down fights, being an analyst is like a huge, huge interest in mind, um, center of
photography.
That's a lot of other, it's a few other things, but like being an analyst and like, you
know, breaking down a sport of boxing is something that I enjoy doing time and time out.
And I feel like, yeah, like why not, you know, put that on at certain stage and, you know,
have a podcast and do other things outside of boxing to where people will learn more.
I think I break things down pretty well, you know, to the casual fan so they can understand.
So why not have them understand what about the sweet science, the pugilism of the sport.
You know, it's a lot of it that I remember when I first was talking to my fiance, she
was not really interested in boxing.
And she was like, oh, it's so barbaric like, you know, I'm just like, dude, like there's
something way more beautiful about us and art and more and more kept introducing her
to it.
Now she's out here, like watching fights with me and really breaking fights down and
over here tomorrow.
Look, he's, he stepped pivoting right.
I'm like, hey, what the heck?
You don't even know about it.
You're like, did you know about these terminologies?
She gets it now.
She understands the beauty of it.
And I think that I can be able to spread that to anybody that watches the sport.
You said now watch exactly exactly with this vision.
That's right.
You know, and it was a, I'm in the gym.
He's getting ready for Carlos Castro at Knucklehead, shout out to Sean Gibbons in that gym.
And he starts talking about Coto versus Judah.
And you know, he even remembers Eric Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera.
He was really young for some of those fights, but a lot of fighters, even that really
know boxing and can break it down to the fans.
They know a Floyd May weather.
They know a canelo or they know Andre Ward or Sugar Ray Leonard.
But when you, when you really know those next level of guys, the Mike McCollum's, the James
Tony's, I'm like, okay, he could, he could really, what do you think, am I gassing them
up?
Or you think he could really do this?
So you do it like that.
You're a historian.
That's why I was telling people like, I was telling, I was out of the guy's house.
He's watching the show.
And you know, one of the things that always stand out in our show, it shines on tell.
But I think you was a boxer, you're like, like, who's this, just do that look like a
washed up Italian?
I'm like, like they're trying to find your table.
Like, no, he's a historian.
He knows the game.
So she knows the games from the inside and out.
And he's a great people person.
Like you see him out, just big smile, but even when it's game time, I think about 48 hours
out, 24 hours out, he locked in the show.
And how it's like, how does that go?
Because I wear one time, I remember Sean, I tried to stay away from Sean.
Just fight time, go as needed, but his wife telling my wife, oh, just, you know, come
in the room, no problem.
They're the way in.
And Sean, that's the first time, Sean, like, man, you need to get the fuck out of here.
And it was, he didn't say it, but he, he said, I'm like, I don't supposed to be here
right now.
When is it Shushu is done?
It's time to lock in.
Oh, definitely, I would say the day of the fight.
Okay.
I think that, you know, the way is looks scary too.
The way is definitely scary, but it's still like me having a little fun.
You know, I mean, Wayne's like, after you eat, you have more energy to, you know, kind
of like interact with certain people and stuff like that.
So you, you're letting some of that energy out, like during, like, fight, during the
Wayne day.
But fight day is like, I don't want nobody coming in on my room.
I don't need no extra noise.
I, I do film study that before I even go to the locker room, like, I saw I could have,
like, really freshen my mind.
I don't want to be interrupted by anybody and everything, I want to say I have to go
perfect because everything's not going to always go perfect.
But I definitely want, like, things to just go smooth into, you know, me going into the
locker room before I go through the locker room.
That whole day, I want everything to go smooth because I'm totally locked in and I just
use that momentum going into the fight.
Speaking of somebody that's always locked in, a lot of boxes don't like fighting their
hometown with their sets, a lot of chaos, they'll take a thing.
You perform every time.
Yeah.
Thank you.
What is your, what motivates you?
Like what, when you time to lock in, what is like a few things that like, I got, I got
to do it for this.
I have to, this is what motivates me.
This is why, well, yeah, I'm hurt, but you don't see I'm hurt.
I gotta keep going.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, you know, to be honest, I, I, okay.
So I can kind of, I'm just, I'm just hard to admit this, but I like, I like to entertain,
you know what I'm saying?
But I don't go on my way to entertain at the same time, you know, I'm not like foolish
to where I'm just going to just get into like a brawl and then let the fans, like, you
know, get into a whole thing, whatever, whatever, like I definitely pick and choose when it's
time to turn up and get the fans to do one and stuff like that.
So what I'm, I'm saying all that to say, you know, I don't really worry too much about
like the outside things, you know, I mean, like I'm really locked in, even with the, like
tickets and stuff like that.
He said to me like, I make sure I have other people like that, I don't deal with that
myself.
Um, but yeah, man, like I love to entertain like my, my people, especially New York crowd,
bro, like they love, love like a good fight.
Um, I felt like my style itself is going to automatically give that and when, but I don't
get caught up into it, I used to, I'm not going to lie, I used to like early on in my
career.
Sure.
I think that I had a point where I was like five, no, five knockouts in New York.
And I wanted to kind of keep that going on and stuff, but it kind of got to my head
a little bit.
And then that's honestly when you saw like probably the toughest fight that I've had, you
know, one or four, three months ago, I was going in there trying to knock him out in
New York.
And he wasn't typified it to do that with if I was to box him and then bring him down
the later rounds.
Maybe that could have come, that could have came, but, you know, it, I had to mature to
was like, okay, you got to pick and choose when you're going to, you know, turn up and
you know, get back to the game plan and stuff like that.
So yeah, man, that's what it's, that's what it's all about, man.
That's why I think I get the performances I get in New York.
One more question.
That moment, man, we've seen the joy, Eric, I think everybody was happy for you, man.
When you won the world title in your hometown, family sitting there, I watch it over, man.
What was that like?
What was that feeling, brother?
It's everything.
I told him he was going to cry.
Yeah.
He did.
He was a guy.
I don't know.
I was going to tell me what he would do.
I'm like, I don't know, but, you know, that feeling, I don't know if I'm going to
ever, I don't know, I'm not going to put it out there in the air, but I don't know if
I'm going to, of course, we had your feeling.
Yes.
Like that feeling of euphoria, like that level of euphoria, like that was in the, it was
a rush.
I'm thinking about when I stepped out the ring, like, bro, I stepped out the ring before
he'd been finished.
I was like, that was crazy.
Yeah.
And, uh, but I didn't think my body just moved when I knew and I realized he wasn't
going to get up in time.
I mean, I'm just thinking about everything that I went through and can't, everything
that I went through to in my career, everything I went through in my life, like, I've been
through a lot of things, man, and I don't really, like, put it out there and social media
because it's no one's business, but I, I show it with the way I fight.
I, like, you see it when, um, when I make the hit that switch and you guys like, oh,
I don't recognize this guy anymore.
Like, you know, that's what it is.
And then I had a second build of rush one, I, I think, it got on top of the ropes, like,
I'm dealing with a brownsville, brownsville, then I said, forever, I, when I said,
forever, I, like, I, I, I, I hunched over the corner and I felt that I had an uncontrollable
cry to it.
It was like, Mike, like, you see me, like, I did it, you know what I'm saying?
Like, it was so many emotions, so many memories that happened in that stupid time.
I didn't even know what to do with it.
So that's what, that's what all of that, like, you know, emotion came to you.
That's a beautiful part of boxing.
That's the stuff, stuff dreams are made of, you know, is that we are the champions moment
that, you know, not, not a large percentage of people, unfortunately, get to grasp and
get the taste pause.
But they put a, you know, before, I got an endos before we move on to the, to the fights
at hand and Bruce, he made sure to watch tape on everything from Gio Pataya, Brandon
Glanton.
He could have went to the shows in Arizona last night, but made sure to stay home so
he could really watch with a close eye this whole Navarrepte card and other fights we're
going to discuss coming up.
What was, what was one of the things that that helped you get a little, little tip
bit heading into the cast cast, so, this guy, I got to get it on camera.
You're right.
Oh, man, bro.
All right.
So when I was, you know, getting ready for this fight, we call it Castro, he came to the
gym.
I'm on spawn.
Sean Porter as well.
He's watching us getting on.
What's his ass?
It was good work, brother.
It was both getting it.
You know what I'm saying?
But, you know, he was like, he was shoe, like you're, you're in the pocket.
His greatest counters are great.
Like that's your bread and butter.
I feel like you could get more if you shoot your jab more.
Like if you do.
You know what I mean?
Look, good eye, bro.
Great eye.
I'm not going to lie.
And it's something that I've known that I had to pick it up one, but I don't know.
Like when you said it, it was like, it was kind of piercing.
Like it was something to it.
Well, I was saying, you got this 72 inch reach every time you throw it, it lands as long
and accurate.
And I see what you're doing.
You're such a good counter puncher.
You want that.
You want that.
And I said, for what it's worth, I said, you pelten with the jab.
It's going to force them to come back with something.
And then you can get with your counters and I'm thinking, well, that's what the old trainers
would call be first, be last.
And that's, yeah.
Taris was great at that.
You won't want to make you open up with something and then he's going to finish with the counter
push.
That was YouTube.
I was running my ticket.
Yeah.
Now that.
I had a ticket.
I had a ticket.
Kisha knockout.
Who?
Secure decision.
Shoot, shoot, decisions.
All of a sudden, do you want to turn it up?
Why don't you think I was going to get the knockout?
That's your fault.
Oh, come on.
He's strong next key.
It's a fire.
He could take the beat.
Man, man.
It's a shoot shoot show.
I think you don't know, man.
He don't want it.
He don't want it.
He don't want it.
No.
Spread love is the Brooklyn way.
It's the Brooklyn way.
That's the first time to look out for brows.
It was just a big bit.
That's right.
Made the best man win.
It's hot, you know.
Here I am.
Out in myself.
All right.
Hey, hey, hey.
Well, yeah.
I took a loss on the main.
Well, yeah.
Yeah.
Well, yeah.
Well, you say this, okay.
It feels out for Brooklyn off.
Oh, oh, my God.
This is a sense.
Oh, my God.
You really click it.
Yeah, no.
Click it.
camera now.
So I'm looking at you on New York.
No, no.
Okay.
Who said Teos from New York?
Teo?
We don't.
I thought Teos from New York.
I'm sensitive.
Cause me and Teo left.
But we know, but we know we call be Teos from New York.
We're Teo from.
I'm sensitive.
This is me and Teo left at the same age.
So I'm trying to keep my Brooklyn card like Teo.
What are you doing I was seven. I mean, I left Louisiana at 10. Yeah, that's better than seven
I was listen and Florence that's stucking out of most though
Loss Vegas. I don't think I'd be here if I wasn't from Brooklyn
Well, it's just another dude from Las Vegas. Okay. My kindness is from Louisiana. Okay, but yeah, okay
So do you can you say that I'm sorry to stay on this topic for this one? Okay, do you can you say that when you see T.O
You see Brooklyn?
I see I see some Brooklyn. I see my father. He says my father. Oh, come on
We've heard I've seen all the interview I can bark. But you know, they he you told me in the gym too. He was in
Quadrat 3 whatever
Crazy
Think I'll start calling you from Vegas
Look at me and sound from Vegas. They know. I'm gonna look all the way. We're not for Brooklyn like you're from bro
I
Want to shout out our neighborhood because we neighbors brain. I'll do that. That's what you're making for y'all
We were breaking down. Well, you live
Shout to the idiot one time to call my phone
Got my business number. Tell my just end. That was crazy. Yeah, well, I mean, yeah, you want you know
He wanted around the city man. Sure. Yeah, you're a business on
You're a staple of Las Vegas businesses
Whatever, let's go. All right, so to the Dizzone fights
Sorry, I took this on but to the Dizzone fights. Let's quickly start with
Abolito able Ramos with a bit of an upset over to your small
This was to mere small step up fight out of the Philly gym with Bozy and this training in the dungeon there
Oh, shit
Close fight. Yeah, it was yeah, what you think was on the man small
He came out establishing the jab early and and I think that like that was the beautiful game
I honestly felt like he had Ramos mentally out of it, you know, but I think
His gas tank just wasn't there in the middle rounds. You start to see Ramos invested a body and it started to slow him down
And on smalls
I felt like he even wasn't picking his shots like, you know, selectively like he wasn't
Taking his time and I look for the right counters. He would throw certain shots get out of stance and you know
Miss some big things, but and I think that's is what contributed him kind of getting tired as well, too
Then the later rounds Ramos really got to momentum and then started picking it up and then you know really you know
Clinch the victory and I'm really happy for almost because he's had so many fights in his career where he's like this close
Yeah, this close and then you just don't get denied, you know
I said they take a loss or a draw and I'm really happy. He's able to get over the over the hump in this fight
And I cannot wait to see what you know, the next thing holds from honestly is this was really cool to see him do
Yeah, man, it was it was I think every guy fight a ghost or a career where you got a step-o fight. You remember your step-o fight?
Yeah, yeah, I've had a few of them. Yeah, so far now
I think one of my step-o fights was Jason Sanchez
Yeah, and I think I stopped them in with the second round. Yeah, another step-o fight was
Pornantoria, sweet months ago. How well?
There's a lot of you a Ricky Vivas. Mm-hmm. I'm not a fuselphone. Yeah, step-o fight something tough veteran guy
I've been in the game a while. It's gonna pull some out of you. You have to dig deep. I'd say win and lose
But he got to get back in the ring
But this is step-o fight in his career Ramos is nothing to play with because he's been in there with everybody
Yeah, and uh actually when I was like he won I was like, home
This is the uncle of this and a cousin
Yeah, he said hey, so it's right. Yeah, I was like, hold on. Yeah, but
You know I think just it's a it's a little buff in your career don't let this I hate when people take a loss and boxing and then we won't
See them for a year
Mm-hmm. You only get a moment in life to be a boxing. You got a year is too long to lose
That's right. So small is like man, it happened. It is what it is. Get back on your horse
Let's get back to it, bro
Get back in the ring by the summons. Something something Sean Porter would say, but don't let this kill your joy and you know
You're gonna you're gonna get the real friends on fake friends right now because that's how it goes
That's right. That's right. This part of the game, but bro. Just don't let this kill you
Ramos amazing victory. Keep going. Let's see what you can pull out of this and smalls keep going to
Yeah, I think smalls has the goods, bro. He has the good. Yeah, I just think he just
The guys think it's a learning lesson, you know, this is gonna. What's gonna mature him until it become better for him?
Mm-hmm. It's unbelievable
To be smalls is the illness
So hey, that was smooth. Yeah, I would say this is my life last night
Yeah, but he uh he did get off to a good start. I thought he
Got my Brooklynology degree I studied it and studied Brooklyn leaving it
But no, he I think he got off to a good start behind that long jab
He controlled the center of the ring pretty well and then his back started touching the ropes more in those late last couple rounds
Ramos was very patient very defensively sound
He he wound up getting hit with a couple right hands around the seventh round and marked his eye up a little bit
But outside of that man, he was he kept it tight little rhythm with the with the high guard and then his timing and his placement
Over 10 rounds was was a little bit better than smalls who was able to get off first with that length and that jab
um, and I think one one thing though that I'm
I'm looking at smalls had a you told me when a marie-john stopped
Luis Cuba areas the veteran you said one thing I liked about a marie-johns
Is even when he missed on his power shots. He was on balance
Yes, and it's smalls a lot of times got off balance and he trains with boots who gets away with that
boots is this you know crazy athlete like like Pacquiao was like Roy was where they could get off balance
And then come with something else from that off balance never ready does it. Yeah, and the main event
But you know, he wasn't able to get away with it in this fight and I just I look ahead to boots and Ortiz because I've always given the edge to boots
because of his crazy talent and athleticism and
But I look at a matchup like how robber did in the corner against bosie from her attire crews
I look at this fight where able kind of in the style of Virgil Ortiz against a
Longer a little bit more athletic guy in smalls and he was able to take advantage of certain things
But I don't know it makes me look ahead to that
Not to where I'm now picking against your on in this, but it does make me take notes of course what's coming
Yeah, no, you got a question it, you know
Love the comparisons you put. I'm you know, you got to think about how the game plans of East Coast would you know mesh in a fight like that
And I do think when it comes to
Like pure skill like not skill but talent like drama was innocent and then like the textbook game plan like that is always gonna
Be interesting to watch because boots is an exceptional fighter
With his skills and stuff like that and his athleticism and then you have you know the the approach of Virgil Ortiz and then his
Game plan with his corner and then his power as well, too
Like this is a lot that comes into play to make it, you know, an exciting fight
Yeah, that's one of those voices you really don't really know who to pick going down a stretch any but yeah
Yeah, I really don't have much to say when that man. That's that's I totally agree with you
I'm just taking notes as we go along. I'm seeing you know fighters from each style each gym come out and then just yeah
We'll see what we get but uh moving on to a million of Argus your top rank stable mate and man
This kid is fat. I love his handspeed for one
But the first what would you think of the fight overall? Oh, man
I felt like this was needed and a millionals career
He's had some success with you know stopping guys early especially recently and I think in a stage
I just said if his career which is on 21 as well, too
It's about that time that he needs to start getting more rounds in and learn more about himself
And you know, I think that when you knocking guys out early
You're not gonna really know too much about yourself because this phases in these rounds this last fight was a 10 round different
And there's like I like to think about those in those lengthy fights
There's like three stages. There's like the one there's one in three or one in four rounds and then it's like
Five through seven or five two eight and then the nine ten is like those is this different phases in these
You're gonna see yourself in those rounds and you got to learn you got to learn those things and I think
He bit down and he did what he needed to do in this fight
The first four rounds was like four five rounds really was like kind of back and forth because Katana
He was there. He was not there to play
Really really good counter shots off the shoulder roll of making Vargas feed into some things because Vargas has a little
He has a bad habit of falling into the shots sometimes and that's what accounts were coming in
But I think that he finished strong he locked him on his defensive really well towards the end
The stop is just a little questionable. Yeah, yeah, but the man tries to finish it. Yeah, I think you could have finished it
You know, I'm saying but uh, but nevertheless
Vargas they would need to do and I'm really proud of him. Hey, I ain't going to lie
Top rank on these last few cards last you but the good stretch in his last couple of years has been like really dominant over
The you know crossing over different platforms and taking over top right as I've been doing anything
And I'm not just saying that just because I'm talking truth. Oh good. Yeah, I mean I hesitate to say this because
You don't you don't want to um big up promoters in my chair
You know, you want to more so hold their feet to the fire, but
Sean you got to forgive me. I'm going to curse on this one
I've been wanting to say this line about top right. It's in the mother fucking name
Top right, okay? They're fine. Their fighters tend to be at the championship level
So I'm gonna kick off after this. Yeah, yeah
I thought we're going to lose with black history mother
As much first. Yeah
And you said okay, but you saw you saw a million oh they're gonna kill me for that
But you saw you saw a million oh that half-time show. Yeah
Is this kid the goods is it to I know it's too early
To yeah, there's something I'm I'm gonna say this stuff you guys won't catch it
Some of y'all there catch it too. I mean it's time to step up
I think it's at that point. He say most former world champions
Uh, something
Something I need to see him do he could be these guys all day
He could be these guys all day
skill athletic movers
That's all I want to see him be you can be those guys because you got it
The other ones that got the titles had they skilled athletic and can move
Can you compete with that? That's a different level that I haven't seen him in the in the ring with you
I don't know if it's just great and great promoter or just because it comes a time
But you have to face up face those guys and a sport of box that's I know what I'm talking about
But it's just I want to see
Can you say one of former world champions? I got a couple guys for him. Okay. Oh beautiful
He's the best match for you. So let's go
You say you say one of former world champion can it seem to get up and then we can
That's a good fight. I know, but I'm not yes
I would have put it
How long are we going to wait to lose this guy? Yeah, it's 21
I don't care
Hey, okay, okay, so why why is the man so heavy on a fight like him?
Because he's so good. He's dominating his level
It's the way man factor. I was just talking to I don't know if I was talking to him or somebody else
My kids 52 inches at four years old. He's always going to be like, hey, you dominate
You got you got I'm held you to a different stand. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. That's right
We don't we don't push this to brothers like that do we right
So we hold you to a different standard and if you get to a stand and you dominate sure sure
You're dad didn't tell hey, sure. Just keep dominating here. Right. Just keep going your thing
No, that's that's my that's my life. You want to be great. Maybe you want to be good
So it's just I don't give me wrong that that kid looks the part. Yeah, but I just want to see I want to see
Get to that next level. Can it say I'm a germane rt. She's like that
I know I got to see this scene. He's like I want more I got one more
Y'all say all three of these Frank Martin
They say you should learn something new every day
Like how you should only drink Yeager Meister at zero degrees Fahrenheit ice cold like those frozen cavemen
They find which makes you wonder what would a caveman think of Yeager Meister
Well, if you served it more I mean probably throw it in your face say
Unga Bunga and storm off and nobody wants that
So drink it cold or not at all Yeager Meister damn that's cold drink responsibly
Yeager Meister La Cure 35% alcohol by volume imported by mass
Yeager Meister US white planes New York

This is what you do the former champion is a former 130 champion
A former 135
Yes, yeah, you see if Jose Pedraza he'll be giving him a call
Okay, because we're here
See that there you go
That's why you that's why you like super because it's like this. Okay, so I'll tell you
There's a science to the top-ranked build up y'all know how to build fire so I don't
I see what y'all did those are all good fights right now especially the you know candidates in him
That's it like those are all good competitive fights just from a fight standpoint
But from a building of Milliano Vargas standpoint you get that you get a Jose Pedraza right now you get someone who
Maybe want a title at 30 or 35 who's now competing at 140 and I think
You know, they the best matchmakers have it to a science. You got to give him a guy who's gonna press him
Then you got to give him a guy who's a little bit of a cutie who's
Kentana had that a little bit more, you know, but he he had he a guy that that's your second pause. I know I
All right, I'll start all right
Okay, I did okay start calling out now because I'll be letting you rock
All right, all right
But come on you know old school box in terms of cutie is a guy that not necessarily gonna beat you
But he's gonna make you miss. He's gonna frustrate you and Kentana brought that element in this fight. So he needs the fight
Each each look a little step up here and there until he's really ready to to fight a world champion and and in this fight and then well
I want to ask Bruce about
I like that at the end. He stayed in the kitchen. He even got his David Benavitas on a little bit where I'm gonna use this speed
And overwhelm you with it with some combination. I'm gonna stay on top and
And all that but
You
But when he took a walk whenever he went to take his walk because before until he got to the end of the fight
he would
He couldn't he his pressure wasn't consistent and that's okay
You know, you could switch up looks you don't have to press them all fight. You got fast hands. You got skills
But his walk wasn't always efficient. He would find himself on the ropes. Yeah, the jab would disappear for some stretches
What what advice can because I know there's a
There's an art to take in that walk around the ring
Some you don't even have to always be throwing punches. It's off of faint. It's off changing the head slot like Tim Bradley teaches me and
How could he be more effective because he was effective towards the end breaking them down?
Well, how could he be more effective going doing it the other way? You know, I think
Right now the reason why he might have like little patches of these names because he's still trying to identify himself as a fighter
You know, he's he's only when he's old and he's young he's trying to figure out all like if my as my strength here or as my strength here
And I think if I like this is was going to help him you know identify that you know because he's
Doing those rounds. So he's like okay. This is where I really am good at especially down the stretch
It pulls to want to do it here. I'm gonna do this here do that here do that here, you know
I think that he's just got a it's growing pains right now for him
You know, and I think he's gonna identify with that pretty quickly. How fun is that when um
Your style when you're growing up is composed of studying this guy
You take this look from all these guys, but then as you keep doing it right you unlock what you are
You know, and you you start to have your own look and you're in everything to your own style
I mean, you know, it's just like make it a cake
You know, I'm saying you you you you you know, I'm saying like it's like you have an all these different ingredients
You got the eggs here from sugar a little and you got the sugar here from
Um, maybe whether you got something like you know, I'm saying like you get you have all these ingredients to make your own
person cake homemade, you know type of thing and it's not gonna be and when you try to
Identify with just this one ingredient too much sometimes you get away from yourself and then the cake is not good
You know, I'm saying so that's why it's always good to
Have your own homemade cake because a lot of people's homemade cake is not gonna taste the same as the neighbors homemade cake
You know, you get you got to identify
yourself and
Use other people's strengths and weaknesses whatever and then
Kind of build it. It's your own personality. You know, I'm saying like that. That's kind of what I've done in my career
like I've I've then I've I've liked watching Zap Judah. I liked his ferociousness
I like where he likes to punch through guys with his speed obviously Mike Tyson
But then I got some flim your weather in there you can see the shoulder
You're gonna see the jabs to the stomach. You're gonna see you know certain things in there
And I just kind of mix it in with my own personality and my own competitiveness and that's when you get something that you don't
Really see in a lot of fighters like I think that um a lot of people when they lost me phone. They watched me fight
They consider me similar to tanscropper or stuff like that, but yeah, you know, I've watched tans too
But um, yeah, I like to look at his like my own, you know my whole stop
That's when the beautiful part comes in when you unlock
What it is that's unique about you as a fighter after taking from all these styles and you can see he takes a little bit from Loma Chaco
Yeah
With something and then he's and then he had little shades of benefitas and those late late rounds when he started breaking them down
So, you know, I look forward to seeing what he unlocks. He's super marketable. Yeah, yeah
They still has that mexican heart and killer, right, but you like you guys say it's 21 years old
So he's not even in his prime. Yeah, so I'm pushing him to that level, but imagine when he gets 25
Yeah, he might be a fuck up all those guys that I say that's led it and all that stuff
So as I say that I got I got names for them. Okay, well, we don't go heck the Garcia. Okay, it's tomorrow here
Jamel Harry. Yeah, get out of the barren knuckles. Jamel. Do you understand? Let's fight the middle okay? You know, let's use the rounds
Give him another world from world champion. Oscar Valdes
Okay, I like that. I actually like that. I was thinking about
Gary Russell, but I know. Yeah, I like that again
It's got a few weights. He's got to jump up to 140 even Oscars. It's just now those two. Well, that's okay
See what you got the bright idea
But look at you. I'll do a regis. We'll get to them. We get to know what interests
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we got you got a fucking shoes to fight in terms of
man
What's next all right
All right, so see your point about, you know, talking about a fit. Yeah, a manual. Now about it. They that cowboy
Let me tell you about my man. Yeah, the livers every time. Yeah, the livers every time
Yeah, which is starting to use again last week with them boys. No, this is real Mexico
Yeah, this is warriors battle shot to my man is newness. Yeah. Oh, yeah, he was there. He was there tough
A tough fight. Hey, one thing about those warriors like that. They're gonna fight every minute my man
Delivers every time
Jones to my man delivers every time. So that's one thing
But now it's like
Is that what that was a second title, right? He got two hundred first time unifying
So he's a three division champion, but this was the first time he put two together on one who has other two
Oshaki Foster and the WBA champion gosh that escapes me
All right, what can we make those shocking fight? Is that possible? I think shaki still on top right? Yeah, yep, okay
The shock again ring anything. I think I think things out there fight arguing right before I think that they might have be fighting next
Before I got about uh
I'm gonna look up this the WBHN
I'm just a he's to the point where I just want to see I'm looking coming out the division
I want to see this apart. It's you know, see the thing is with him
He's so unusual doing like he's so
I'm pretty part especially the shots come from everywhere
Bro like you'll think he's backing up and he'll just lunge with uppercut like bro like what is that dickens?
Who jazz a dickens? Oh, jazz a dickens. Yeah, okay
He said I didn't know who he was
Hey, right he'll give you a job with it. Yeah, okay, no, but um
Yeah, I could see him like yeah, I like now taking over the division man because like I said
He's so off-tempo the stuff that style you have you're not gonna get inspiring bro because who's fights like him mm-hmm who fights like him
And he does he's not a type of guy that forgets about the body either he changes tempo his rhythm. Oh bro like I think
I do think that noona's I had a little too much respect for him in the beginning
And that set the temple for never that day to you know take over. Yeah
Yeah, come on. I like boxes. He was backing up the first rounds like just letting never that thing go far
Now for that day if you want to get him and beat him you got to push him back
He does not fight the best push me again push back
But he if he has that momentum going forward. Oh, he's gonna steam all you every time every time bro
The hard part is the angles too. Oh, gosh when you try to close the distance on him though sometimes you you're you know
You're running into a butt song. Yeah, this is literally a blender through. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Yeah
Um, he had a uh, I mean, he has had a strong. I believe eighth round
Seven others the eighth round he didn't like that bodywork and he did not like the bodywork, which was good
Yeah, seven eight someone. Yeah, yeah, I think
Nunez did really good in the body in the eighth round and if he would have
Came out the first round investing in trying from like you know from then on
I think it'd have been a better fight for him
But also like you say getting in that close. He's gonna take a lot of leather man and and I think I don't think that
Nunez had the athleticism the slickness to kind of like you know get away from a lot of those shits man
And no number that they just had his way
I I halfway through I interrupt this
Made event breakdown in Aberdeen Nunez to to tell you to remind you all the Porterway podcasts viewers and subscribers
To subscribe to the members only channel, all right
My Italians he's close. They know something about members only all right
So you've got to be a member of the Porterway podcast
Make sure you send in your fan questions submissions
And then what's great about the members only part of the channel is when Sean gets these
Exclusive one-on-ones with whether it's Andre Ward or Tim Bradley or Maddie Pac-Gow
And he tells me an ant to kick rock so that the champions can discuss champion stuff
You get to actually watch all that exclusive content and even times where we have guys like he Sean on the the week of his fight with
Jermaine Ortiz he's predicted
I'm gonna knock Jermaine Ortiz out could have saw that a week before everybody else got to it
So make sure you subscribe to the members only channel and also send in your fan questions. So well back to Navarrete and Nunez
Um
I want you guys to keep cooking. I want to get Bruce's real breakdown on Navarrete and Foster, but
I gotta hear here's some high praise. Okay. I happen to grow up with two fighters being tied as my favorite fighters in boxing
And that was the execution of Bernard Hopkins
And that was Eric Elterrey Blayman-Rallis
So if I needed my technical fix
All right, I got and Bernard was a warrior too. He was in a lot of great fights with Antoine Eccles and
um, Felix Trinidad, et cetera. He was in some good-want scraps too. Don't get me wrong
But if I wanted my my sensei my technical master grand master
It was Bernard Hopkins and conversely hot uh Morales was athletic rangey had feet
He was a hell of a technical fighter too, but if I wanted a warrior if I wanted to scratch that itch for watching
The best entertaining fight possible the man for that job was Eric Elterrey Blay Morales. So
Navarrete this is quite the compliment cover me. He reminds me more to in today's box
And his aunt started by saying he never fails to deliver
He reminds me of Eric Elterrey Blayman-Rallis more than anybody in the game right now
He from 122 to 130. He's always the taller guy
He looks like he's six foot in there when he fights guys in this mid class. He uh
Even though he's known as a Mexican warrior. He's rangy and he busted Nunez up off the back foot
Now Morales was a first ball at Hall of Famer and people are saying that it's not already pound for pound title
Who cares? I know he's pound for pound
Maybe the most one of the top five most exciting guys and he's pretty damn good too. He's not elite
He's still quality. Yeah, he's a quality champion and a and a lot of us thought
Um, he was waning
He like even like Morales when he went to 135
He showed up a little Pudgy and took a L like Morales did this out here right here
So between
Taking the elder barren chick not coming in and shape
I go in life for death with guys like Charlie Suarez and Liam Wilson who aren't thought of as being
Of that level. He was an underdog by the odds makers last night. Yeah, yeah
So this was a hell of a moment for him and um
Yeah, that that that's what he's a true action star and um
Got his own subtle charisma and aura so he puts the cowboy hat on on you after whoops your ass and
So crazy
Respect so then he does it
Yeah, boy, okay, but that aside
You think he'd be so shocky foster? Um, I don't know. I that that's a good fight. Yeah, that is a good fight
Um, I do think that his style would be a problem for anybody that steps in a ring for him like anyone
You know granted, you know a shocky he does have a good adjustment factor to him though
So I feel like later down in the stretch. He could pick up on his rhythm and catch his timing
Yeah, Nunez couldn't catch
New York never at this time and at all, you know, I took him a little while probably I said because a frown was his best round
And don't try to do that
but I think that a shocky would fare better with catching the timing more
um
But man how long is that gonna take how much damage is gonna take before then how like you know
When in a fight is that gonna change is gonna be enough
Time to where he can
Banking enough rounds to win the fight or you know our shocky has a good power too, you know
We've seen off of that day down know a couple times and um, so it's possible that he can you know putting off of that day down
But uh that's honestly a really good fight that I don't know who the one would be
Yeah, it's a great style, man. So I mean
Navarready he bring and he was patient last night especially in the first
He was patient and and hit him off the back foot and
One thing he I left out one thing he really reminds me of Morales Morales was the ultimate um
Answerer, you know, he would he was that that's part of why those first two packout fights were so great is
No one was better and and his time at
Get and get back he was to get back came you would get something off on him and he would come back and and take the play from you
Always had an answer and that's what Navarready does really good
But Navarready brings the fire and oh shocky
He's he's gonna bring the ice. He's gonna cool you off shut you down. I think I think foster his defense and
After Shakur is about us is it's it's tops. It's really good, man
He decides to like turn it on right because he has times when he likes a fight to his opponent's level and it's sometimes the opponents are obviously
Lessor than him and he just makes it a competitor fight like he doesn't have to like he can do shutouts like he did with fault
And a granite like fault is a naturally much more a guy, you know, I'm saying but stylistically though
The game playing was perfect. It was perfect
You know what I mean? And I think that he can shut a lot of guys out more often if he was to like really lock in and continue to be dominant in every fight
The problem in some of those fights is his offense his volume would take a hit
Once he decides you're just not gonna hit me. Yeah, but when he but he should have been in foster or fault
And it was the best of both worlds. He put it all together. Definitely and but we've got one thing in that fight
false foster
Come in shape
best shape of your life because
I think the skills can pay the bills and he can get the job done defense being short moving not being area hit
But you're gonna get some shocks that guy just all night mode or motor motor
So your defense has to be a step above his and that's just going to push him
I don't know I'm like I don't know how to call it just because I don't know just like my man stepping back and throwing like
What are you doing?
And he's not in it. Yeah, like creative with it
The balance to like it's not like he's throwing arm punches. He's throwing like it's a real size like hammers
bro, you know, we know what his one of his real strongest
His one strongest weapons is his feints and he will step back and throw like a foot thing
Oh, bro like
These things are amazing and it frees a lot of guys up to where it's like they don't know because he's known
He's already known for crazy shots come from all angles, but then they see that foot thing
They're like, ah, they just prepare to shell up and when you shop he's gonna go all around your guard and he's gonna take advantage
Yeah, some sauce last night. Yeah, he's got in his bag. Yeah, once he really started ripping and it is
He'll get leverage even though he's lanky and the shorter guys in his chest
Did you still get more leverage than doing it best boy? This age marco's Madonna with them crazy ass shots?
Yeah, yeah, I can see that I can say he's a good shot. I can see that in terms of like the, you know
Different angles with the shots for sure. Yeah, he's just killed Floyd one night
And at first rally hit the like all 100 punches in the first place
I'm like that's why I was crazy wild. Yeah, before we move on. I want to give a quick
Consideration to Kermel moan the 19-year-old hell blue chip prospect got a second-round stoppage in of state, New York
Yeah, yeah, man. I had people in my chat going a million or Kermel and I'm like
You're 19 and 21. Yeah, I'm fine like that. You got a little cook
It's not even like started cooking yet like you know what I'm saying, but uh Kermel man like he's been having crazy buzz about
The amateurs, you know that mean you all you get old now. Look at sure. You know that mean you all
Yeah, I know six seven male. I don't even you get old now. You got me
Relax y'all
What you think all right then you can't say no
What you think
That Kermel man, he's uh, I want to see him in more fights like his actions. Yeah, that's the difference between him and Miliano right now
I think a reny Viamante oh back in mid
For the Kayla plant um rescindies card. Yes. Yeah, I feel like he needs to be in a ring more often
You know getting you know, he's just keep knocking dust off himself
There was no time except for the ring because I don't know if this is management. I don't know what was going on
But he is a sight to see every time the way he puts his numbers together his combinations
Is relentless and then it's not like he just staying up top to the head
He's going down to the body bring up top and then going around the garden up because in between back down to the body
It's beautiful to see you can rip. Yeah, he can rip. Yeah, he can rip. He's starting to fill out
You know as again olders and well some people think he's moving filling out too quickly like he needs to find a way to take that youthful metabolism
Cut down a 3540, you know because that that's the age where you're supposed to get away with kind of unhealthy
Way cuts that is right like Oscars did at one like like Devin was doing it at one thirty five. I feel that okay
I mean that that that makes perfect sense on but
Never the less though like he's he's a great god of watch really done entertaining
Yeah, I wasn't gonna go through the show and without
Yeah, I want to see more back in the ring two more times this year at least seriously
Yeah, good milliano. I think got four in last year. Yeah, that's super active
I was getting jealous. I ain't gonna laugh right there. I'm really fighting. I see we say he might be taking a little
Oh, you know how it's you know this is legal one time I'm saying somebody five five times one year
I
Hey, honey. What is your name need that you know what I've been really
Look at the more for getting to read
A little fight
All right, we're in the championship rounds. We'll keep it. We'll keep it kind of concise here
Connor Ben leaves Eddie her and this is about a week old, but I guess more importantly now since everyone stood on that
He is going to be fighting regis progrey. I think it's funny that Zufa
Yeah, I got you know
If you want to stuff out
Understand
I'm here and I'm with all of the real talk so you know
I'll get opinions expressed by Sean's teller Sean's and if not
Go to science. I tell at you two. Yeah, you two
Hey, if they throw 15 million of dollars or what you do what you got to do
Even though it's not them really foot in the bill anyway. It's it's as any harness says it's pappy
You brought the coat. Yeah, well, no, I'm just saying is it
It's like we're gonna go back to the you know, the nine original weight classes and well actually it's a
But we're gonna make it nine because the first guy of true
You know shout to robber Maryweather a few other prospects. They got that our legend
But the first champion we got is a cruiser weight. So actually nine weight classes. You know, so but um
So we're gonna fix his narrative. We're gonna do Conor Ben and um do I do we call it because a W the WBC
Did it from pack you out for some margarito like a catchway to 150 and it would be for the super welterweight titles
So, you know, we're being fair here, but uh do we call Conor Benvers regis pro gray at
Super middle welterweight or do we call it at light
like
Like super middleweight and no, no, I said you get the joke. I forgot I forgot what I called it. Yeah, do we so at the fight is to be at 150 pounds at
Super middle welter. We can reach us up. Yes of 140 pound champion skipping 147 fighting Conor Ben
I mean, is there any chance regis pro gray upsets? No, no
All the money out there. He's got a chance all the money. I lost on shoe shoe keratin couple weeks ago. I will make back
next month. Okay, yeah, every dollar
through okay, I honestly feel like
Regis his best chance is if he's uh
If you can scrap like in the inside and trade shots like granted like I think that Conor Ben
He is he's a good scrapper in his own right as well too, but if he wants to like our class regis
He has to be on his boxing similar to what he did with Chris you picking the second fight um, but
I believe I've been seeing you know regis. I mean, I mean, I'm in the gym with regis all the time
And I see regis working on guys that's like movers and whatnot. So it's like
If he can really like
Zone in and know how to cut the wrinkle off properly, you know work on his you know foot movement because he has been his last
Couple camps and I think he looked really decent his last fight against Jojo Diaz
I think that that is his best chance of getting Conor Ben president Barack Obama

Didn't like his punch resistance in the Joe yeah, I was not by the state. Yeah, I said that thing. That's the one thing is the punt
Joe's always the guy is not a big puncher. Yeah, coming up a really you know for 30 35. Yeah, what do you think yeah?
Yeah, just somebody's from the right state
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we're all easy and I think just reaches on the back side of it's a career hell of a career
I think that the prime region we ever seen was a Josh Taylor fight. Yeah, that was a beautiful region
And this is tough, bro, like
Uh, kind of being
Regis make sure we got a by the testimony because you know, he's non-tech steroids
Uh
And if my man getting 15 million what they get my ring regis least five
Yeah, something. Yeah, so some beautiful
Perfect. Yeah, you're for us. Yeah, talk about him
Just out there
Hey, I'm in our Floyd's blood with security. Oh, we got hell. No, I don't
It's crazy. It was crazy when I can eat I can get the bill y'all get them
Uh, but yeah, I don't know uh, that's a tough fight. I'm just
I just know when they said 15 million kind of being a zoo for I was like, okay
Now who we gonna get I thought they were gonna get me the court
That's what we had a baby. They still look okay, so Raheem like my gosh
Shouts my man radio
He said uh, maybe this isn't really the 15 million dollar fight. Maybe this is uh, but I said, you know Raheem
But it's being reported everywhere by you know Dan Raffa as one fight 15 million
He goes, yeah, but maybe this is a part of the ring is more technically a ring show
And then the 15 million fight was Zufa funded by Turkey will will be the fight people thought it was gonna be
What is this building up to this one? I built this one on me and my shakor going back and forth on hell
Wani they go back and forth in the garden. I thought it was building up to that
So do you think the ultimate goal is for them to get shakor or something like that in a ring for kind of band?
That's what I was it's a ticket selling dance partner for shakor. Yeah, it's not so much that it's a fight
Everybody in boxing's asking for us that he could sell out arenas in the UK
It could get Zufa a Sky Sports deal, which is rumored that they're maybe closing it on and then uh, yeah
Give shakor a ticket selling dance partner. I just think it's a white bully fight. I mean he thinks it's too big too strong for
At this point in his career for a regis man. Just kind of being
Stereoid Connor you never know how you gonna come in super strong
But it's just yeah, I definitely understand this from Zufa. I thought they had like some of this leave
I was like cool. They're gonna now something be then I'm gonna go to shine as I tell page and see him piss
That's my entertainment baby, but then I say that's a child laughing at y'all. Yeah, I'm having more fun
Yeah, that's what I said
I love when they piss you off
It literally I get the report side of you see him and out of defuse these things. Yeah, so that's the best way
Yeah, that's kind of you got to deal with life, but yeah, I just don't know me. This 15 million. That's not 15 million. I'll fight
I mean
If you when you get you get your next 15 million. I'll fight you fight in a bomb. I'm a I'm a problem
Cuz that's easier than a bomb now
Yeah
I apologize. That's great. We fight find that three when you fight it. I want this way class. I want about say when you fight in 122, but it's a 122 looking for
It's kind of been
Well, who's all in a way?
Yeah, that's got to be at the guard. We don't get that. Yeah, don't get that zone too, but you're not going to show it
That's gonna happen real. Yeah, we don't get to that. I mean I pissed that fight. Yeah
Three years ago
I was on my aunt matchmaking
They didn't want to listen
But counterband though, you know, I'm picking out a corner of it. It's my cause of money
Yeah, you'll lose money again. You keep not winning your lesson. You go keep playing with your money. Yeah, he'll be broke
We need the 15 million dollar contract. So I was gonna ask how good is kind of every we'll revisit this
April 11th, you know, okay. Yeah, where's the fighter?
Tottenham, okay
Referee is the main event. Yeah, yeah, okay. It's arcelabac
This is the co-may. Yeah, all right. Yeah, you want to fight you on a card? No, no, I'm okay
I'll probably be fighting probably the next month. Okay. Can you switch on cycle to appointments? Yeah, no, no
It's in negotiations and I can't even if I knew I would listen to who's number one in the rankings right now
Espanosa
Not right. Yeah. Yeah, Rafael. No, no, no, no for the WBC. Oh, it would be. Yeah. Um, I think it's the thing with Collins, okay
Yeah, yeah, I think he's number one written one and uh, uh, I need to be see right now. So uh, yeah, this you have some options though
We've seen you as a stare down on branded
Yeah, yeah, we know we got to get Leo
Got to get Espanosa. Yeah
You see so Brandon came to the shoes you party too
So I'm gonna club
It was all good for a few hours
Let that be put to the side for a little bit. No, no, I was like like you came in he didn't know that I was there
And I just popped up on the meose up. I'm everywhere you at like you know
Want some awesome uh, Shannon Briggs Vladimir please go type day
That was crazy
That was a time my man
Followed him on the boat y'all crazy. That was a time. That was wow, but uh, you know, I think that we have a lot of great options
Hey, you guys, you know me, bro. I already want to be able to give this to the fans
What they want to see clean out though. I'm not playing like
I a lot of dudes are like putting their fingers and they're not unifying. I'm like bro's going on
Like for me, I could see myself hold now for a no way. Let me keep this belt until the the money man
And what are that confident in yourself? You know, you're gonna keep the belt. Yeah fight anybody
And then they wait this is gonna be the it at the end of the day
You know, I'm saying that's what I believe you know
I can see myself doing a title defense and then going for a unifying, you know, I touch to unify
But these guys they like two three fights in and nothing's happened before fights and nothing has happened
And I don't want to waste that much time, bro. I don't know what the heck they're doing
Um, like I said if you were that confident in yourself and you want to hold on to your title
You know that you can beat these guys beat these guys and uh, unify and then
The end of a fight will be much bigger for you. Yeah. Yeah. No, I love 126 because you could mix and match and the unifications
And it's a great fight and then you got the monster any minute now. Yeah, moving up
Being on disputed from his division. 126 is fire. What I love love as I tell
Mootry should like this fight every champion clean out the division
You have the opening your business make big. You as a bigger star and your way
You beat you if you think you're that good you come beat me you get all the titles right exactly
If but you see what happened to guns that we didn't came to New York last time, baby
Night game. We'll play a monster's baby. We don't play a monster
Yeah, listen, I don't know. I'll play none of that and uh, you actually died in 1998
Mm-hmm. He did that's movie wasn't that good. That's what I was really looking forward to
Okay, I thought you were saying like he was gonna get in the live
Okay, we can't
Go back
You don't know how much that movie disappointed us in 1998 he was
You know how much marketing that movie had it was on the side of the valleys
The world digress and really bad good, but uh, I'm a big guy. I said, you know, I anyway movie side
98, 98 was I trying to get kicks now? No, I was still early. You think I'm pretending. He's out here
I was thinking about kids. I was thinking about twice what kicks in 1998
I have to put the Chinese name
You really think kids, right? You really think it'd be some monster? I don't know
Monsters that's gonna be a tough fight but I'm a role of my guy. Okay anytime. I don't I'm you know, I mean
Hey, you know, I'm like I'm in one of the Smiths porophyte. I had somebody shot that boy Blair
He said so I'm I bet you think Sean gonna lose by
I don't go fuck Sean's fighting con. Can't con. I'm riding my guy. That's I am
Hello, it's to my guy and I might pick you at a different way. You might fuck up money
You know that part of it, but now I think that time the more the the more world champions when he had cleaned up all the divisions
Getting better and better and better. We could have even a better shoe shoe for sure. We he's not even pick yet
I don't yeah, so that's that's the scary part. It's like should I get him now? I said I wait
So I let the fight get bigger. That's my thing
And but I'm hell will fight hell will fight and I think we
Do we keep it in the state so we go over there
Which is the question which ever makes little sense business. Okay. Okay. Yeah, it could be
We want to see it. I know you want to say we want to see you ultimately come down to in a way
And if he's insisting on I want want to want to you know a little home field advantage against this younger guy
Yeah, yeah, or or or if I would suspect in a way though being the champion. He is being
More leaning towards them. Let me go to New York City. Let's do it. I want I want that
From in a ways perspective. I want that
That moment of true glory in the United States and do it against the United States fighter in the the the mecca
So I'll pull up. Oh, I want to do a fight. He's like I'm pulling up for that my boy
Shocked the worst a great fight. Yeah, I think that uh, he's expressed interest of building his market and it's right went there
So you're fine. Exactly. It's my right. He's four cardinus out here and there is
Um, I think that if he wants to you know, really become big because if if you notice
There'll be big name boxers and like overseas in different countries
You're not a star unless you're really a star in America. You know, like you're really like a botan in America
If we become a star
Everyone knows them all over the world
And so I feel like if he wants to really brick through that threshold. Yeah
Come to New York man. Come to New York City man, and then I'll be could definitely know get it on um
But I at this this you know me bro. I do my film study. I do my fights and everything like that and
I study him so much. I'm actually a fan of his so much of a fan
I just yeah, like I'm so much of a fan though to his like I look at every single thing he does
When in terms of his strengths is weakness. What would you do? It's time moments
And what I would do in those in those moments like I'm that much of a fan of nylon anyway to where by the time
It's time for us to fight. I'm gonna have complete confidence to where I know I'm gonna be in and it's funny because
I people think that I'm crazy. I'm getting so much negative comments when I say I'm gonna beat him and whatnot
It seems so unbelievable, but you know
That's gonna would make the victory that much sweeter because I'm gonna shock the world and you know
That's what I remember talking to think that before we picked the canelo
Crawford fight. I think everybody's we had a my boy another guy off guy's name the boxing voice
Yeah, Nester and everybody's just looking at me crazy picking Crawford. I'm like for me. Yeah, look that's and I said
That's why we call the fights on the outside and you're not turns Crawford. Mm-hmm. Oh my god
I should that's why my thought is not like your thought your thought being average or I can't
Is what to air said?
You haven't faced me yet. That's right. That's right. That's right. Oh you the fun I everybody in far shoot you yet
So I'm not out my man friend. It's not like you. That's why you're calling to fight and I'm up here fighting. That's right
That's always look at it. That's right. So yeah
What the fuck on there my thing?
Still still mad at myself for the way I picked that fight. Crawford. Okay. It got deep. You know
Tairn says man. That's a disappointment. I know me too. You think you're disappointed. Yeah, you think you're disappointed because I'm like
You know, Tairn. You know, I'm crazy. Yeah. So I'm like, you know, I really
That was to defy the minion norm in as well. Maybe stop smoking weed
Oh, you quit. I said, I'll send him up. Yeah. How long? How long? Like since since Haney like them
I keep it so be dormant. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. No. I'll make a return
Crazy. Yeah. Yeah, they'll say for anyone. It's just a hiatus. It's a little break. Don't get too to come back and control of it
Here and there. I never smoked drinking my life. I probably keep you on the side. It's probably why you're a business owner
And I'm, you know, a bushy hair. You know, it's funny as people always think I'm the weird dude because I don't do that
This is not what you're positive. I had a dad that woke my ass
Corporate punisher man. Corporate man. Oh, you punish me. What's corporate punisher?
I got to move me on the bathroom in five seconds. I'll give you a corporate punishment if I got here
So my kid that was now over there acting as like y'all kids. No, I don't
I feel like some kids need it though. Yeah, yeah, yeah
Right
So it's a ants parenting part
We're at Sean. We're at Sean's house once
There's a kid on the on the counter and he goes get off but he's like get off of there
You're not white. Get off that counter. You know better
And life I have I have my kids and they get on the counter and I was like damn. That's right
That's all talking about it. That's all talking about it. Yeah, I'm a very kids
Sometimes you know my kid got a little got a drop of white in him. So he'd be even on the whiteness and I'm black as I was right back up
That's good. I think we got under on the seven-story
Hey, I wish you carry
Hey, are you here? It's some stuff. Get in there. I'm not I'm on my way
And you try me like that
Kids good a couple different way and doesn't his way
Hey, what to do. I want to do. Yeah, there's also works and I'm getting my son's box
So y'all don't y'all they don't discipline you son. I'm gonna make my son drop y'all son
Yeah, yeah, cuz that's other than y'all is bad. All right, all right
So now I understand why Sean has to get us through these topics. Sorry Sean. I get it now. So I'm
Be pleading with our producer extraordinaire Ryan Heyfield. I need just a little bit of overtime to get through in my good
All right, all right. I got yo, yo wrap it up. That shit up. Be got the wrap it up box. Okay. All right, but all right
So lastly two two topics we want to hit. I'm I'm gonna take two then
Mayweather versus Pacquiao to it. Give us your unbilted. Oh, man floor was my favorite fight of all time watching
Love their floor fight love the hate love how you build yourself up love what he did
became his own boss. I love everything about fluid
Man, it's tough to see one of your idols coming back this late
This is like when I see Jordan come back to the wizards
Like my favorite boxer with that. I mean favorite basketball player
LeBron on the Lakers
Especially now
Well, yeah, but it's like
Charles Buckley on there
Rockets
Going on the on the magic and the supersonic
Tell you play subsonic. Yeah, he did, but yeah, I mean I keep on the raptors. I hope you going
Yeah, but don't get me wrong. I this people hype about this. I guess, you know
Hardcore is like us with that ring no the game
Where's people like acting like these my man they're both in eight thirties and we about to get a war
You know, I have a last time
You know, I have a last time like I guess what you think Floyd's slower or something like
What they well in people count them, you know, you know, Pacquiao is terrible against Oreos. I mean people are just counting on
I think you look okay. I think you look okay. Oreos no first age. I think you look. Oh, yeah, yeah
Come on. Come on for his age because you can't expect the prime Pacquiao. They're like come on
So I was about to do a shit show. Okay. I don't think it's going to be that
But I definitely think it's right under ran three
Hey, but I definitely think that uh Floyd he's like you have to take a few steps back
Yeah, let us win. So he might be
You know susceptible to get caught with certain shots, you know, in a Pacquiao. He's still
Like his style is still a problem for a lot of like different guys
It even in his division today a lot of young guys. So I feel like the people the reason why people are so hype because
Believe it or not people still want to see me with the lose no matter how old he is that's so
That always so attached to his persona his image to a point where it's like that's him, you know
And he it's a point where he changed the view of boxing the value of
Fighters in boxing to where you lose that. Oh, you know, your stuff just just plummet
It wasn't always like that until Floyd kind of, you know
You know effect the game that those are cons of his moment 100 percent
So I think that because of that it has so much influence
That's why despite it's still that exciting, you know, people still want to see Floyd lose or when
See if he still hasn't to see if he's still the best up. How would y'all feel of one of them can stop
That almost be in it from an entertainment
Prospector with a pleasant surprise. It would be it would be yeah. Yeah, I was too lazy
I want to see why I'm with you. I'm so speaking for the masses. Yeah, personally, I don't
It's like the casual so crazy that already have people requesting tickets. I'm like, yeah, y'all this hike about this
I'm like, okay, yeah, you know that the these cliches and boxing the weight classes for a reason that's been
fluctuating lately. Yeah, especially this bud that we did you know, I mean, you know, and a lot of the old-time
Adagias they always held true for like a hundred years and
Modern medicine and everything the
Guys is probably pack out of the way he looked at 46 once part of time that just wouldn't have been able to happen because
You rely a lot on athleticism. How at 46 are you still darting in and out retaining a
Fair amount of what made you what you were
That's why Bernard was able to do, you know, what he did is it wasn't too athletic reliant
and
Forming the so the old-timers would say the first thing to go is the legs the last thing to go is the power
so that would actually mean
Advantage pack out because he's he's the guy who with the left hand puncher power Floyd
Turned them all night long in the first fight, but
If pack out was just able to retain a fair bit of his athleticism then maybe Floyd will be able to too
Maybe those legs won't be as bad
Because when i was when i was watching pack out in the barrios fight and i saw him still dart in and out a little bit
And and then what was kind of fun about that fight was since pack out's whole game was slowed down
You could see the machinations the tricks and because they were so fast before it was like this this wild cyclone and you know
But seeing it slowed down. You're like, oh, that's the little way that that right right that's what he was doing
But anyways, um
I was thinking that night at the mjson you know pack out my catch Floyd now
Just because you know the read supposedly your reflexes your legs those are supposed to be some of the things that go
And maybe manny could catch him with left hand, but i don't know i don't know i don't know
It's going to be what it's going to be uh the people that no more than me
Guys that have been
Champions Hall of Famers they tell me many can never be Floyd and that they're not saying that
Yeah, I'm gonna last a month being uh, you know
Taken sides. They're just telling me with conviction. He'll never be Floyd. Do you
Think that Bruce or um, I think that
Pacquiao style is just super dangerous to where it and that's the reason why he is
Like I said, it could still be a problem for a lot of fighters today because
It's still youthful in a way to where it can keep up with a lot of these younger guys with his you know chaotic approach and his
His quickness is still there if Floyd isn't as quick or you know
Just a decent amount of quickness to keep up with that and then yeah, I could see Pacquiao catching them
I could see Pacquiao definitely you know doing something with that and um
But I also want to say
That
Barrios we can't come you can't compare to me with the two
Barrios because Barrios he kind of just stands right there for shots as well too and me
What does not gonna do that you know older me with I don't see him doing it like me with a stand active
If you know with these exhibitions and these little fights here and there and it's like
Made with the still got it now like he's not like you know far off by by any means so

Can Paco cash him. I think so
But I still think I got made with one in fight. I saw I'll close with this about that. I saw a Floyd
Sparring, you know, I was I'm blessed to have these opportunities sometimes in my career. So I'm spar late night
When Javante was getting ready for Leo Santa Cruz
And I'd love to get more in depth about this one day, but but what what Floyd he wound up
He was trying to show Javante certain things and he he he started demonstrating it on his sparring part
So
Thanks right here and you're the sparring partner
And he's who put this news ass while not even looking at it at the time and teach it and in that moment
I'm watching them and because I wasn't taken by Floyd's performance against McGregor
I'm a man his legs look old and he's it doesn't
But um, I think he gave the fans what he was just wanting everybody says that
You know, but I play it too. Yeah, and that's gonna tie into our very last topic about Rico and Usic
But he but then I said man this dude kind of still looks like the best fighter in the world and it's different
Jerry Eisenberg OG from New Jersey who covered Ali and all he says kid
They always they're gonna look good in the gym till they're 80 they get old on fight night, but in the gym
I against um, you know what I think he'll he'll appreciate the shine against my guy Mateo Papa
Okay guy from Italy. He man. I'm like shot you Mateo. See how they doing it
But hey, Mateo was undefeated at the time. He went some tough rounds with Javante and
Javante was sharp for that camp for Leo Santa Cruz but Floyd looked even better
I'm giving away too much in the gym. I'm sorry. I know. This is why they don't let us in
I get it, but I'm trying to give the people some gems here
So he in the gym he still look incredible, you know, mesmerizingly good, but we'll see
Um, like Jerry said they get old under the lights. We'll see you both of them get old under the lights last topic for the show
Sorry Ryan Haifi Usic versus Rico. I thought you meant a Rico case. I mean spite of Rico like from the Rocky movies
No, who is that?
So he is Rico Verhoeven is the king of the of heavyweight kickboxing and I watched a little something on him
Alex do her bucks, huh? What has to do with bucks?
And we'll not
Remove the kick and it's almost the same
But hey, by the way, apologies to Gio Patia and Brandon Glantan
We were gonna get into your fight, but we have a fun press for time
Brandon Glantan is
A pressure fighter of bruiser
Gio Patia's
Considered the number one cruiser weight in the world. That's that that's a good scrap. I made my history really good scrap. Yep. Oh next week
Yeah, yeah, it's the most it's the most important fight Zufus put on and you know
I may say what I say here and there, but it's a good fight and I look forward to that fight
So sorry we couldn't get to that
But who's sick Rico? It's for the WBC title. Do you do you feel crazy now? I'm really putting you in a tough one
Do you feel that's right? Like do you and you could you could punt on this one and let it get to cooking
But do you feel like that devalues the WBC title when they this this and and a lot of such a lot of
A lot of decisions from a reseal that make you scratch your head and god day in a white talking match shit
It weaponizes them. It gives them a point to how messed up boxing is. I mean, well, you know
It's always gonna be something to
You know take from boxing whether it's a pro or a con you know, I'm saying
With a positive or negative. There's always gonna be something
I feel like every single time that you know every single thing like something like this
Of course something that's gonna be talked about, but I felt like this purpose in it. There's reasons for it
and
We just because we don't know know a lot of the times people just throw negative connotations at it
But you know, there's probably something bigger in the picture, you know, we never know and as there's something that
Me as a fighter, I was just like to trust, you know, I'm saying that there's something like a bigger reason
As to why fights like this are being made not just because like like looking at things that surface low
It's the best kickbox in the world against the best boxer. That's that's the bigger vision. All right
Oh, maybe something after this. Maybe this is just maybe just just could be
You know, stay ready fight. Yeah for us sake, you know, I mean, I think that's what it is
I think most people think that's what it is. Um, you know, this guy doesn't really like fairly known as water boxing
So I would say that, but at the same time it is also just water boxes. What anything it happened
Just one shot. So hey, that's that's just my comments on it
Read uh, let's go and are you I mean, I already know too much about this man, which I mean that I can't you kick boxing world
Maybe Mike Tyson mama. I'll leave. I don't know, but over here. He ain't that okay, but I mean
It's a it's a business too if they offer shoes you 20 million of what my ass. Well, I would not take it
Hey, it's like a
Tyson fury and present
Yeah, yeah, you never know. Yeah, I don't know. Oh, that can you get knock on
I'm just saying
You got to put that in consideration now since we have to fight like that. Yeah, so I mean, I don't know man
Just get your money one thing about sport of boxing
When it's all done that that game don't love you. That's what I that's why I realized so when you in it
Get much money as you can for you get out of it
Cuz I still don't know what what's going on
Why why this even a fight now as I tell you the man what did this guy come from said they put you know
Pyramid fighting that's Pyramid Jesus to quote air Cartman. Is that the location is fire?
It's supposed to be that okay in the Egyptian
Yeah
So I so these what aboutisms and boxing and in everywhere broadly what okay, so the usic fans or
Usic people that like all exander usic or a man. He's went through the gauntlet. He's done it all
Let him get his payday against the kickboxer, right? And then the other side goes what about what about when you were shitting on
Mayweather McGregor right you know what what about all that and then so and
Vice versa the the main people that love Floyd as he's getting a bag. Hey, why are you mad? He's robbing the banks
He masking the other side of the time is going. This is disgraceful to boxers
So I try to reconcile it all by saying it's all stupid and I should have done all of it, right? But now that I have to be
Have to chew on it a little bit more like you said about fury and gano, right?
Notice the funny thing about these exhibition or not at least fights these crossover fights
Is whether it was Ali against Antonio Anoki that fight wound up being really bizarre
But tough and Ali had to you know stand on the top rope and kicked out of this dude and all kind
Point being it wound up and Ali by the way didn't know are we like doing WWF wrestling or you like really trying to fight
You know, so shout out to the greatest. I don't think he was fully
Prepared for what this guy was about to do but point being it wound up actually being a tough fight
um, and then
McGregor may weather and earlier you said everyone agrees with you by the way that Floyd may have had a bet in the 10th round
He carried him some rounds. I mean, I saw a guy into his forward
He even said I'm not to fight or it was five years ago. I'm not so glad enough to be true
But he was acknowledging and I'm not sharp like I was before and
McGregor say what you want about him at that time with momentum to his back was rangel
This is how tall bigger man, you know
And that fight wound up being more competitive he landed more punches by copy box against a lesser version of Floyd that night
Then then great fighters they catch him with uppercuts uppercut you know, yeah, then that shit on it but caught him with it and
So point so may weather McGregor was kind of was was competitive early on
Fury a lot of people thought I ain't gonna be fury drop them
Ali had problems with an oaky
So there's actually a precedent for even if you don't like it
All these fights you'd compare it to and and a lot of people would think of his jokes
Turned out to be tougher fights than peat then we thought going in so maybe this is too
Um, but I don't think he should be for the wc title
Yeah, there's a keyback exhibition. I'd eat copy. I was like oh
Mm-hmm. Oh, what are we doing?
So but hey, it is what it is all right. That's it for the show
