El: Το καφέ στην Πλάκα ήταν γεμάτο κόσμο.
En: The café in Plaka was crowded with people.
El: Όλοι γιόρταζαν την Ημέρα Ανεξαρτησίας της Ελλάδας.
En: Everyone was celebrating Greece's Independence Day.
El: Ο Κώστας στεκόταν ήρεμος στην ουρά, κρατώντας ένα βιβλίο αρχιτεκτονικής.
En: Kostas stood calmly in line, holding an architecture book.
El: Πάντα ήταν έτσι, βυθισμένος στις σκέψεις του, έτοιμος να αναζητήσει μια αληθινή επαφή.
En: He was always like that, lost in his thoughts, ready to seek a genuine connection.
El: Δίπλα του, η Έλενα, με τη φωτογραφική της μηχανή να κρέμεται από τον ώμο, παρατηρούσε το πλήθος.

En: "Kostas, Elena, can you hold my spot?
El: Θα επιστρέψω σε λίγο!
En: I'll be back soon!"
El: »Οι δύο άγνωστοι βρέθηκαν ξαφνικά να περιμένουν μαζί.
En: The two strangers suddenly found themselves waiting together.
El: Η Έλενα χαμογέλασε.
En: Elena smiled.
El: «Ωραίο βιβλίο,» σχολίασε.
En: "Nice book," she commented.
El: Ο Κώστας σήκωσε το βλέμμα του, ξαφνιασμένος από τη φιλικότητά της.

El: «Ναι, είναι ενδιαφέρον,» απάντησε ντροπαλά.

El: Η γιορταστική ατμόσφαιρα της πόλης τους περιέβαλε με χαρά και εθνική περηφάνια.
En: The festive atmosphere of the city enveloped them with joy and national pride.
El: Ο Κώστας ένιωσε έναν αέρα ζωντάνιας.
En: Kostas felt a sense of liveliness.
El: «Ξέρεις, μου θυμίζει ένα ανέκδοτο από τα παιδικά μου χρόνια,» είπε, προσπαθώντας να νικήσει τη συστολή του.
