• Yesterday, a suspect pried open the doors of and boarded a Springfield Public Schools bus and had an altercation with the driver. The suspect was a unregistered sex offender.
• In an effort to cross-reference SPS school bus routes against addresses listed on Missouri’s sex offender registry, KOLR 10 Investigates requested bus stop addresses from the district. SPS quoted more than $1,500 for access to those records.
