There were four games.
The Kings got cooked.
Jamerant is out for the season.
What else do we find out?
Well, Michael Bolton's got all the secrets Tuesday, NBA, Rika, Mickey.
Thanks, Josh.
It's Michael Bolton here, and it's time for another episode of the Lockdown Fantasy Basketball
Podcast.
Let's get to it.
Let's get to it, indeed.
You are Lockdown Fantasy, your daily NBA fantasy podcast.

Fangil, play your game.
Where he happened?
All the action he had from Tuesday, with only the four games on across the NBA, so not
a huge amount happening.
Still some interesting things as per use.
So let's get in and dig through.
Let's talk about what we need to focus on.
Let's get a bit of news out of the way first and wave away our trends and then get into
those games.
We did have that update on Tometrius Merant who is out for the season.
It wasn't really like, I wasn't expecting him back, obviously, right?
But they just kept edging us for such a long time with multiple different injuries with
Merant.
During the last time he played with January the 21st, that's ridiculous.
Bro, what?
And it hasn't been in the elbow the whole way through here.
That's a little ridiculously long time.
We're going to end up with him missing almost the final three months of the season.
I don't know what to do.
It's obviously there's a part of it that is their tanking and they made those decisions
and probably could have come back and played most of this, but still.
That's a long time, man.
Merant out for the, most of the moody as we expected is also out for the season.
He came back, played one game and then Tori's Patel attended, which is a terrible injury.
If you recall that is the injury, I can't tell if it's exactly the same because I don't
have the scans that Victorola depot suffered that basically ended his career like he came
back, but he was never the same player.
That sucks for most moody who was really signed to establish himself as a really solid player
starting level player for some teams.
That's a long one to come back from.
You would expect he misses a big chunk of next season, probably most of it, honestly.
And then we see where it goes.
If you're all question is now who do we add with moody out?
Like he's been out.
He came back and played not even one full game to literally look back the past three weeks.
He'd been out with a wrist issue or two weeks whatever it was.
That's the easy we know.
Gisantez help up.
Brandon Progymsky's value goes up.
We've seen it.
We know what happened.
It's literally right there.
Nothing changes there.
Kevin Porter Jr. is out again.
Bobby Porter's Kyle Cruz went both questionable too for the bucks.
I finally get very hard to consider holding on to Porter.
We just don't know when he's coming back.
That whole team's a mess.
I wouldn't bother with that at this time of the year.
And then we're going to get into the copious rests for the Utah judges who are taking
on the Washington Wizards, both sides actually.
I said that Cole is out with a hamstring injury.
Cool.
So resting and our car for the power skis doubtful with an illness.
Hmm.
There are not many available players.
Cody Williams has been upgraded to questionable.
So we'll see what he does.
But you're still going to get Kennedy Chandler and Beza and Bing.
Oscar Sheeway is almost certainly going to have to start at center.
Kevin Love is going to play the backup role I'm guessing.
There's no power forwards.
There's nobody.
There's one center and a Sheeway.
Again, if you count Love, that's it.
Blake Hinson might be called back up from the Glee.
He's got five games to go on his contract.
So Chandler is a stream guy.
EJ Haqlis is a stream guy.
Cody Williams, if he plays, John Consha, Oscar Sheeway.
It's a real messy spot.
The Wizards aren't alone.
Guess what?
Alex Hsar out again.
Alex Hsar has played five games, I think, since he returned from the hamstring injury.
And like, two of them have been good.
He's out again.
Dick Johnson, the 30s out.
Tristan Bookchevich is labored questionable and Bill Alcullibili is labored questionable.
And I'm guessing they don't play because they want to lose this game.
After that, they play the Warriors, the Blazers, the Lakers.
So we'll see what they do there.
I maintained, I loved Sauron the Draft process.
I maintained he was an easy drop when he pulled his hammy.
I said, I wouldn't have rushed to pick him up when he came back.
And I'll maintain that stance now.
But if I did pick him up, I would drop him.
I don't believe he's going to play enough.
You'll get literally max two games this week.
Maybe one, because there's a Sunday Monday back to back involved.
It's not enough.
Tray Johnson's not worth holding, anyway.
I think we all knew that.
Oh, yeah, there, the ads drop.
By the way, Joellen Beade has been up
and got into questionable pool judges back for the sixth system.
Let's take a look at the most added players, the most dropped players.
Over the last 24 hours, the most added player number one is Malik Monk.
The Kings will talk about the sec, they just said everybody out.
It was good ad and good value the rest of the week.
Maybe we'll see.
Slime and Semy Merrill, that's a stream for today.
New Year's Eve, Missy, again, a stream for today.
But I think the pattern with him is really clear.
If Dishante Murray's out, use him.
If not, very low end.
Pool George, go for it.
Don't you play two more times this week,
but I think he's good enough for two games now with five days left
that you do it and then Devon Carter,
where he finally got to start.
I just wish they would play him.
I don't have that confidence though.
What about the Jack Off list?
Yes, I got that.
The most dropped number one is Cody Williams.
He can probably consider the re-adding, I guess.
Justin Edwards, easy drop for me.
Peyton Watson, all right, what, what?
Okay, that really doesn't make a lot of sense.
I guess the fact that he's not playing Tuesday,
then you've got a full roster Wednesday.
If you schedule a maxing, I do get it.
I would like to have held on.
Dropping Terry Eason makes complete sense
and Devon Small has been injured.
I don't know if he's going to play or not.
Is he good enough to hold through uncertainty?
Absolutely not.
So guess what, don't do it.
Let's go and talk about that first game now.
Sacramento, Charlotte.
Poor, the Hornets, man.
I know that the Kings are terrible,
but the Hornets are also just really good.
They've got a chance, Charlotte,
to not make the plan,
but to just be straight in the playoffs as a five succeed.
It's possible, they just keep winning,
but not only they keep winning,
they keep croaking teams.
134 to 19, honestly, thought it was more.
Thought it was more.
The Kings team, not a lot of players
really available in this game for them,
but through their own choice, of course.
Nick Clevver's out for the rest of the week.
You couldn't jack him.
Get that garbage out of here.
Preston Chua had a game off for whatever reason.
Russell Westbrook was out for the second game in a row
for rest.
That's going to happen like you drop him.
The problem here is again,
the Kings and the Hornets both their teams
are one of the best schedules of the rest of the week still.
But today was part of it,
but three more quality games rest of the week.
Killian Hayes, you're not holding up to him.
Russ is the tough one.
I would hold it sure,
but I just don't know what they're going to do.
Devin Carter played 34 minutes.
He had 18, 3 and 3.
He hit 3-3.
It's great.
Most of the time when he started, honestly,
he's been pretty good.
Good for what he is as a player
and where this team is at,
but in terms of fantasy production, it's been good.
We just haven't been able to trust him like at all
in terms of playing time.
So do you believe that he's going to play rest of the week?
I honestly couldn't tell.
I don't know.
It's Delta Doug, man.
It's all over the shop.
And it does depend on Russell Westbrook status.
Seven of the league monk who had only seven points
because he shot horribly,
but he did give you 14 assists with a steal.
He could easily get DMP'd in one of the remaining three games.
Easily.
But I think you've got to roll with him for now.
What tomatoes and bro?
Is this, like you see, trying?
He had that random three game stretch of playing 38 minutes
at night and then he just doesn't do anything now.
Again, which he wasn't doing for two weeks
before that random stretch.
Delta Doug, thanks.
Seven points for tomorrow in 29 minutes.
He had no threes, no steals, no blocks.
He had five assists.
He shot badly from the field, poorly, in fact, horribly.
Three of 10 and was one of three from the line.
What he is doing at the moment is honestly,
the two-week ranking for him as he made him first
propped up by those three games.
But otherwise, he's been terrible.
If it wasn't for the schedule,
he's a, I would have dropped in weeks there, honestly.
I don't even have to say honestly
because I told you on this show many times.
But, like, I guess the deciding factor now is,
he's gonna play on these low-volume days.
But will he get a game off?
I don't know.
I don't know.
Dake one, play out in.
Take one, play out in.
The Simpson Cinematic Universe pencil
had 22 points in 36 minutes
with three threes, two rebounds, one assists in the city
when people ask what a pencil is.
Hey, you know, it's a writing thing,
but like it's a Harrison Barnes.
Somebody scores and just said,
don't worry about everything else.
Don't worry about it.
You're a forward-sized player who does nothing else.
And that's what play out in his.
But obviously, there's value in that.
He had, it took 17 shots.
He shot really well.
He's on the fringes of standard league value,
but the schedule does bump him.
The problem here is, what if the churer
and Westbrook both come back and he plays 26 minutes
and it's not good enough?
I think he's actually gonna maintain
close to 30 minutes in value most nights.
Pat Baldwin had a bad one.
Five and four with a triple one, he's not very good.
And that would have been a desperation stream
for today and the other player there is Dylan Cardwell
who really cannot get back into rhythm.
24 minutes is better than the other game.
6 and 11 with a block.
You know what he is.
He's a blocks and rebounds guy.
Usually a field goal percentage,
although that was terrible here.
He's not for everybody, but the schedule does.
It does work in his favor, pretty clearly.
We will talk about the wanted side
because they're in a situation
where they're beating teams so easily
that players just aren't playing.
23 minutes for Lamello, 20 and six
with eight assists and two steals.
Diabate played 24 minutes,
but he doubled doubled with two blocks, fantastic.
Brandon Miller, 13, three and six.
The big Ariola, 14 and four with four triples.
You'd like more from that, they're not disaster lines,
but they just don't need to play.
Miles Bridges, the only one getting closer to disaster line
but you get three more quality games this week,
98 and four, you probably hold.
I know everyone's gonna rush to talk about
how good this was from Kobe White.
You sure it's correct, you're gonna see a lot of this now.
You'll see a lot of the posts about how good Kobe White is.
27 points is unbelievably good.
In 18 minutes is unbelievably good.
He hits six threes, it's unbelievably good.
He had one assist with five rebounds
still on the block, he's been really good.
Really good, in incredibly low minutes,
but the thing remains, he placed 20 minutes a night.
He shot 75% of this game and had one assist.
He's shooting I think 48% from three
since arriving in Charlotte and guess what will not stick.
That, Kobe White could conceivably shoot
38% from the field for the next three games.
We've seen it many, many times.
He's just coming in, everyone's gonna
profit up unbelievably because he's on fire.
But a 20 minute Kobe White role
is not a must-cross the 12-team lead player.
He has been hot and every shot has gone in basically.
You clearly hold for the rest of the week
or do you because there is a back-to-back?
And what if he doesn't play that,
then he's got two more quality games
the rest of the week, not as good as three.
And what if you get one of those
being an absolute turn burger, which again,
going by who Kobe White is as a shooter
in consistency-wise, really possible, like very possible.
I'm not telling you to drop him,
it's almost impossible to drop out for this.
But what you're getting from him now
is like just heading the cloud stuff.
It's not gonna hold in under no circumstance.
Will this be a replicable thing?
And we just never know when it's gonna start
or when it's going to end.
And they are the tough decisions to make.
And you get them wrong, you get them right, it happens.
He's cooking, but it's not because he's playing
this gigantic role, playing 30 minutes and it is a six-man.
He's playing like 21 and I,
and every single shot is going in,
and that is clearly delivering unbelievably good results
for Kobe White and if you've got him on your fantasy team.
Ah, yes.

It is absolutely bucketing down here.
I don't know if anyone can hear that sound in the background
out of nowhere, this absolutely pouring unbelievable rain.
Wow.
Wow, I'm gonna probably pause this recording
if it settles down a bit.
That is insane stuff.
Apparently, the rain is never stopping.
So let's just talk about the second game, the Palakins
and the next win, 121-116-dean
over the Palakins.
We'll start with the pals.
Jeremiah Fee is at a really good game.
You look at it and go, wow, that's great.
Should I be doing something with this?
21 points.
He had three threes, three assists and two seals.
But it almost literally exactly the same as Kobe White.
He did it on shooting 75%.
He still only played under 20 minutes.
Now, again, like Kobe White,
they've got a great schedule the rest of the week
with three more quality games.
So I guess you could and one of those games
almost certainly will have no Dijon Tamari.
But as a regular ongoing basis, this is not enough.
He's not a 12-team league guy.
The schedule twists it and you might get one game
rebumps to 26-27 minutes.
Speaking of 27 minutes,
Dijon Tamari played 28 and he was bad.
Seven points on 17%.
Now, he had five rebounds.
He had 12 assists, he had a steal.
So overall, not too bad.
And he's been obviously way better
than I anticipated this season
since coming back from his Achilles.
But it's not great when you had two games last week.
Two games the week before.
You're probably going to have three games this week
and then you have a 17% shooting game
and one of those.
I know people are going to swear
how awesome he's been and how great he's been for their teams.
I'm not, like, I'm not so sure
that's actually true over the last few weeks.
Again, maybe you debate that with me.
That's okay.
But four games over 14 days
and this one, you deliver this.
It's not that good.
Dijon had 22 and four with a steal on a block.
He's been healthy somehow.
And the production hasn't been fantastic,
but he's playing games.
And Herb Jones played a lot.
37 minutes, he had 13 with six assists.
The schedule again makes him worth having for this week.
Not a good game for Cedig Bay minutes wise.
He had some foul issues.
He played 28 minutes.
18-42, the game is still pretty good.
You would like some defense.
Overall, but the scoring production was solid.
Well, Yasqueen had five and five in 18
and guess what, even Eesey did nothing.
He played 17 minutes for two points and four rebounds.
Now, the game where Dijon Tay is out,
he's going to be very good.
And there are still three more quality games left this week.
But as a general rule,
even Eesey is not a 12-team lead player
unless Dijon Tay is out.
Now, again, you add, there was a four-game day here.
You stream him in.
You use him for the schedule.
You use him to schedule max.
That's all good, right?
That all makes sense.
But you don't look at him and go,
yeah, nah, look, it's sorted, man.
He's just a guy I'm holding rest of season.
Do not look at it this way.
I believe that's an incorrect way of doing it.
I think it would lead to problems with your team.
And I think there's pretty ample evidence of that, honestly.
Is that Murray's out,
good game Murray in, generally bad game.
It's been pretty much happening the whole way through.
Should we do the next side
where they're very rarely as much to talk about,
but another game of low minutes for Carly and three towns.
24 minutes here, 21 and 14.
Now, the production is still good,
but he's not even getting to 30 minutes a night
these days.
It's Robinson played 21.
He had 11 and 8 with two blocks.
Very good to stream.
And then the Jedi, OG and Obi bounce back up
to his stinker last time.
21, 4 and 4, 3 steals a block and 5, 3s.
There's not a lot to talk about with those guys,
is that we're gonna do our regular checking
on first round player, Mikhail Bridges,
who had 14 points,
with no free throws attempted on 42% shooting.
He did have seven assists, so that's a positive.
But again, like I've said, if you dropped him weeks ago,
you'd be pretty good luck.
He's not even the top 200 player last couple of weeks.
Sorry, sorry, he's the 12th ranked overall play
for the season, I know.
Yeah, he just, at least he's minutes went up here.
This is really good, but I just don't think
that he is a must.
Josh Hart played 38.
The game wasn't good, 10, 8 and 3.
We had no defense and no threes,
but his last game was a monster.
We sort of forgive that one.
And then Elvarado, the only reason to use Jose Elvarado
is a desperation steel stream.
And in a spot where Jalen Brunson is out,
that seems to be the only way that that works out
for Jose Elvarado.
Let's talk about our Lando Magic.
And the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Cavs win 136, 131.
Let's start with the magic who is still with our Jalen Suggs
and he's both games.
Franz Wagner was back practicing the G-League.
It doesn't seem like he's going to be back this week,
though, just maybe he is, but I don't think he will be.
And same with Mr. Black,
who I don't really think is coming back this week.
Suggs should be back for the next game,
which is on Thursday.
They did not start Javon Carter.
They started Jamal Cain,
a name that I've mentioned quite a bit
on the streaming shows.
I mentioned him more for Double Onyxers.
I didn't know it was going to play 32 minutes
and have 17, 16, 3.
So if you streamed him in, you'd be very happy with that.
And honestly, if you streamed in Javon Carter
or over the back-to-back yesterday was terrible,
but 15, 4, and 4 with 3, 3s, it was good.
Sometimes, again, that's why dropping in the middle
of a back-to-back on a situation
where it makes sense for his minutes of boosted,
it usually, one doesn't always,
but it usually works out okay.
Do I need to hold Javon Carter through to Thursday?
I mean, you could,
because you probably don't need that spot for Wednesday,
but I'm not gonna feel so good about it.
Bunkero had 36, 6 and 5 steel block,
big field goals, big free throws.
It's just an unbelievably good game.
And Desi Bain had 17 and 7 with two blocks.
Wendell was fine, so was Tristan De Silva.
36 minutes for Tristan, 18 and 6 with 3, 3s.
The time to roster silver is when you're trying
to schedule max like now.
Three games in four nights for the magic,
they avoid Wednesday.
Most nights, he's not reliable enough
to just have there as a guy,
but when the schedule works, you use him,
he's a points and 3s guy,
not a must hold, must roster guy.
But Dad's Day was in as the backup center again
over Mo Vagna, so it seems like they're going
with that change.
But Dad's Day did play 14, Vagna played five,
so we'll see if there's anything that does
adjust with that moving forward.
It does seem like for those double onyx deep leagues
that you can look at Goga is a bit of a
field goal percentage block stream guy for the caps.
Max Truce played in this one.
Now, I don't think Truce will play
tomorrow against Miami.
We've got to wait to see whether,
I think Jared Owlin still out
and Jalen Tyson, I'm not sure about,
but maybe Truce does play,
because he was in the closing line
up and played 27 minutes here.
Now, is he anywhere close to being good enough?
No.
11 points, three threes.
Three rebounds, three assists.
You stream him in for threes
on a day like today, sure no problem.
But he's not a guy that you just have to have
on your 12 team roster.
Jimmy Harden had 26, 3 and 7 and Don Mitchell 42
with three assists and three threes
on very good shooting from Don 64%.
Mobley got really early fows,
but he did not get taken out by Ken Atkinson.
He did it with 99 and 6 and shot 100%.
Well, Sam Merrill was pretty good.
Now, that's largely because Tyson was out.
Owlin is out.
I don't care to use Merrill outside of streaming.
He had 19 and 4 with two threes and two steals,
but they last couple of been very good games.
K&L seems to be back out of favor.
He played just 20 minutes for two points.
So we thought, hey, he's playing 30 minutes here.
That's good and then a few other guys came back.
So that little run from Keon is dead.
Get that camera chaty here.
And surely, surely nobody is holding onto Dennis Shredder
who had six points in 16 minutes.
Surely not.
Team Wade played 20 more minutes and, yeah,
basically invisible out there.
Got all deen weighty weighed.

Helps me add a lot of stuff.
Got one game to go.
Final game of the day.
The late one.
The night cap.
The one that was just extraordinarily late.
Denver and Phoenix.
Let's do the final game of the day.
The Denver Nuggets.
The Phoenix Suns.
The Nuggets win it eventually.
125, 123, just an enthralling into the game
with intentional fouls, a lot of it.
The Big Jungus himself,
35 minutes of nuclear yokeage,
23, 17 and 17.
The free throws are little annoying.
The field goal is really good.
It's a yokeage game.
The headmaster had 21 in 38 minutes.
Jamal Murray with six assists.
But that's not really what we're looking at.
We're seeing how Aaron Gordon did.
Great, apart from those terrible free throws.
16 and six with three assists on five of a 10 from the line
is horrendous.
His minutes are ramping up slowly.
There was also no patent Watson here.
So when you look at what Cam Johnson and Christian Brown did,
monitor that.
Johnson was okay.
14, three and two still in the block.
That's not bad.
Christian Brown, 13, three and one, no defense.
Not as good.
Then Watson will play tomorrow.
Gordon will probably see it.
Again, I maintain that Johnson and Brown are luxury,
streaming sort of pieces that aren't must
roster guys while Gordon and Watson are back.
And I think I think that's sort of playing out.
We'll see.
We'll see how it looks.
As we go for Bruce Brown, had nine and nine,
what Timmy Hardaway had one of the big ones.
18 with four threes.
That means probably the next game is going to be absolutely
horrific.
We know the Tim Hardaway Junior sort of patent.
That's not really a patent,
but it still happens often enough to be a patent.
Sons, let's talk about the sons.
They did get Grayson Allen back.
They did get Roy Sonil back.
Ryan Dunn was out late scratching this one.
Let's talk about Alan who just sort of picked up
where he normally had been.
23 minutes, but 21 points, five threes,
five rebounds, three assists.
Now the problem here is, of course, it's a two game week.
And they've got one more game left in the week.
So you don't add Grayson now,
and even though that was a good game.
And if you wanted to drop Jalen Green, 21, 6 and 6,
it's a good game, but one game in five nights.
If you want to move on, you move on.
Jordan Goodwin off the bench, seven and eight,
with two steals, pretty good, don't bother with it.
And then I also think that Colin Gillespie,
in the right circumstances, is dropable.
Get that garbage out of here.
The KOTD legend has really been struggling of late.
And now we've got two games,
sorry, one game in five nights.
And Brooks is coming back soonish
and coffee and high smith
and done could all play in the next one.
Are we really holding on for one game
in five nights of Colin Gillespie?
And then next week, Mark Williams and Dylan Brooks are back.
I don't think so.
22 for book up with eight assists, bad shooting,
but the other stuff was good.
It was also good for Moistaniel, but you should not care.
Do not go and add Roissaniel.
17 points with five dribbles.
He had three blocks, it was a very good game.
But like I said, one game, five nights,
it necessitates you ignoring it.
Do the same with Aussie Gidara.
Get that garbage out of here.
315 and 6 of the steal, again, pretty good game.
Bad free throw is a pretty good game.
They intentionally hacked him from the free throw line.
That is why the free throw is, don't look, it's good,
as they should.
Let's finish it off with the lines of the night.
The monstrous line of the night,
we're just gonna stay where we were.
Big jungus, Nicolay Yokehitch gets 23, 17 and 17,
narrowly beating Donovan Mitchell.
Your young gun of the night
is also your wave away line of the night.
He's available in a lot of different spots.
Jeremiah Beers, three more quality games this week.
One of them likely without Dejante Murray.
I'm not saying that he's a must,
but he had 21 and three with two steals, flukey shooting.
But there is gonna be opportunity here.
Three games, five nights, low volume days.
Something there, there's something there.
At least for a volume schedule max plate.
And the daughter of the night, let's go to the man
who's giving as little effort as I've ever seen.
Let's go to Demada Rosen in Sacramento.
Yeah, like Shaw, he had nine, seven points,
and four rebounds and five assists,
but he was terrible from the field.
He was terrible from the line.
He didn't hit any threes.
He got no steals, he got no blocks.
He was just bad.
A nap, that's the end of me doing this show.
Well, it's not the end of me.
Maybe it is.
No, it's not, at this point.
It's not the end of me.
Thumb it up, double bang it.
