Noah Wyle's The Pitt: Exciting Guest Stars & Medical Training

On March 25, fans of Noah Wiles' new medical drama, the pit have some exciting guest stars

coming up.

Mary McCormick, who worked with him on E.R. back in seasons 10 and 12, joins as neurosurgeon

Dr. Linda Conley.

She's appearing alongside Wiles' character, Dr. Michael Robbie Rabinovich in the 13th

episode.

That same episode also features Wiles' wife, Sarah Wiles, playing patient Ashley Davis.

It streams on April 2nd, bringing a personal touch to the show since she changed her

last name to Wiles after their marriage in 2014.

McCormick first crossed paths with Wiles on E.R., where he starred as Dr. John Carter from

the show's debut in 1994 through its final, episodes in 2009.

Her role there was as a doctor and a clinic in Darfur during his recurring appearances

in 2003 and 2006.

The pit has been a hit, with Noah Wiles winning the Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a drama

series last September.

The show itself took home outstanding drama series, and cast member Katharine Linasa earned

supporting actors honors for her role as charge nurse, Dana Evans.

The cast prepared with three weeks of intense medical training, something Wiles says would

not have gone over well with the E.R. crew, who he imagines.
