Northern Arizona saw a burst of strong winds on Wednesday, with some areas recording gusts approaching or exceeding 50 miles per hour, according to data collected across the region. The strongest winds were reported in Coconino County, where locations near Four Springs and Vermillion Cliffs reached around 50 mph, making them the highest recorded gusts in the state during this event.
