President Trump paid tribute to the 184 people killed at the Pentagon and aboard American Airlines Flight 77. We will honor their lives, we will cherish their beautiful memories and we will protect this country and its freedoms for every future generation. At ground zero in New York City, families are reading the names of their loved ones who were killed at the World Trade Center in 2001. Another ceremony is underway in Western Pennsylvania to remember the 40 passengers and crew members aboard United Airlines Flight 93.

1:02The US Supreme Court blocked Missouri from using a congressional map that was drawn to produce a Republican-leaning seat. St. Louis Public Radio's Jason Rosenbaum reports at least for now was a big win for Democrats. The Supreme Court stayed a lower court decision that required Missouri to use congressional lines from 2025 aimed at ousting Democratic congressmen, Emanuel Cleaver. That means the state will use a map in the general election that includes a Kansas City-based seat, Cleaver will likely win. Cleaver says he's grateful Missourians gathered thousands of signatures to put the 2025 map up first statewide vote, which means it cannot go into effect before November. 2:04up tariffs on Canada and PR observed two online focus groups this week with these voters and PR's Ashley Lopez reports. The focus groups consisted of 13 people in the battleground state of Michigan who voted for Joe Biden in 2020 and then Trump in 2024. 11 of these swing voters, a sizeable majority, said they think this escalating trade war with Canada will be bad for Michigan, which shares a border with the country. PJ was one of those voters. He participated under the condition his last name would not be used. 3:06for children. Rachel Myro from Member Station, KQED in San Francisco reports. It's 13 bills and all. One is a ban on addictive social media features for anyone under 16. Another set safety rules for AI chatbots used by kids. Thousands of families, schools and states have soothed the tech industry over harms to young users. AI developers now face their own wave. Newsom said the parents behind these bills, lawmakers among them, all describe the same thing. Some civil liberties groups argue the rules and fringe on privacy and free speech, but open AI back the chatbot bill saying it will help teens learn. PR News. I'm Rachel Myro. The price of diesel has climbed to a record $6.5 a gallon. The increase is being driven by tighter global supplies and oil prices above $100 a barrel.

4:11Higher transportation costs could also push up prices for groceries and other consumer goods. Diesel powers that trucks trains and heavy equipment that move goods across the country.
