Some schools have already gone back to class this week, many more due to do the same after Labor Day. There's need to adjust quickly with school buses by the thousands hitting our streets soon. 2:02It is an extremely dangerous practice. The Governor's Traffic Safety Committee says that on the average school day, 50,000 drivers go pass a stop school bus with flashing red lights. Police will be watching, especially in these school zones. An adjustment needs to be made as we go into September and October into the fall for a lot of different reasons. All the traffic stopped by ICE officers yesterday in New Jersey, ending in a crash involving the wife of a local mayor. Middle-sex township officials confirm that it started in North Brunswick when immigrant officers pulled a car over. The driver did stop. They say, but just briefly before speeding away, running a red light and smashing into another car. There was a brief chase on foot before ICE agents did make an arrest. Congresswoman Bonnie Watson, Coleman later posted on social media that the wife of the mayor of East Brunswick was hurt in the crash.

3:04She criticized ICE, saying the agency's quote, lawlessness is putting innocent people in harm's way. Township officials say occupants of both cars were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Earlier this week, an ICE vehicle ran over a woman's foot in Newark outside the Delaney Hall immigrant detention facility. Protesters were holding a vigil at the time. Well enough is enough. So say advocates for Central Park carriage horses. After word that another horse went down this past weekend, they call it neglect and are again pushing for the city council to end the carriage horse industry once and for all. Video shows the horse on the ground after the carriage union says he tripped after becoming ancy and impatient because he wasn't getting many rides. A Dita burn cramped with night class says instead of getting a trailer to bring him back to the stables, they merely hitched him back to the carriage and took him through chaotic Saturday evening midtown traffic from miles back to the stables. The bill to ban the horse carriage industry is still in a city council committee.

Lori Cohen lives above the victim in that building on 87th street and says she heard a disturbing downstairs before officers showed up. Well, I heard screaming. I don't know. And then the cops they were bringing the doorbell and I said, who's bringing the doorbell five o'clock? As detectives haven't yet shared the victim's name, but he was found on the ground behind his blue Subaru around 430 in the morning with the driver's side door open. They say with the 25th anniversary of September 11th barely a week away, New Yorkers are still dying because of the terror attacks. 36 more names have been added to the FDNY's World Trade Center Memorial wall in memory of responders that died of illnesses related to their work and 911 rescue and recovery efforts. That claim backed up by Long Island Congressman Andrew Garberino, who chairs the House Homeland Security Committee. He says New York's request did not meet federal requirements. Governor Hocal, though pointing out the President Trump, is also withholding $87 million in counterterrorism funding from the state.
