About this episode
We've received many comments in regards to a recent Hot Topics show about Nolan Wells. Don interviewed a man named Emmanuel who claimed to be a family friend of Nolan and his parents. He was booked to give us an insight into what Nolan was like from someone who knew him well, and to possibly shine a light onto what could have happened on Horn Island. But the conversation quickly turned from Nolan to the idea that racism doesn't exist in Mississippi in the way that is being portrayed. Much like the audience, Don was surprised by this sudden turn and spent most of the interview debating how prevalent racism still is. Today, Don dug further into his thoughts on the matter. 🍋
